And its in a city called Oaksdale or something like that...... (Very Raccoonlike, if you ask me)

Ah, here we go:

I. Plot And Setting

Oaksdale City is a thriving city in the American Northwest. Not as large as New York or Chicago, the city nonetheless has a large population. It has never had a problem with crime, but it does have a skilled police force just in case. The city was a good place to live. Until recently...

On June 6, 2006, something happened. Although few saw it, a small missle like object flew throught the sky, crashing into the city. Then, they appeared. Walking corpses that attacked and killed people. The incident happened in the early morning, and no one was prepared.

A government organization had sent a few agents to the city a few days early for a meeting. After the meeting they were attacked as well. Using their skills, they managed to save a few people and bring them to a building. They barricaded the building, a house, and are currently there. What happens next, no one knows.

In a few hours, a once peaceful city has been turned into a hell. Oaksdale City was once a nice place to live. Now it is a terrible place to live, and an even worse place to die. It is crawling with zombies and other mutants and monsters. And no one outside the city knows about it yet, save for a select few...

I demand this RP takes place at the CHIPMUNK SUBURBS!

I'm wondering if a "Tire-Iron-Lobotomy" would kill the zombies (pretty sure the monsters are built like tanks [but not so much as the things from DOOM which required multiple hits with an AT rocket to kill some of them]).

And does anybody RP the monsters/zombies, or do we just guess on what we do to them and when we run into them until we get yelled at for making them too strong/weak or too many/few?

And yeah, the RE zombies are a lot like Romero zombies. They are pretty strong at close range (can grab and overpower a well-trained SWAT member long enough to bite them)

The zombies go down pretty quick from trauma to the head, I don't know about the BOWs in this RP (Bio-Organic Weapons, see Resident Evil on Wikipedia...)

And I think Breitenburg will RP the zombies...

Nah, but I've played DOOM (old quasi-3d version) on all difficulty settings, and it is very difficult to kill a demon (the only melee only guy in the game) without getting hit even on easiest difficulty and with chainsaw, and almost impossable when 'fisting' (Berserk pretty much isn't a feasable weapon here unless your name happens to be Bruce Banner, Samson or Bill Bixby).

Hopefully the zombies don't start toteing guns...

Also, thanks Breitenburg, this way I won't have to come up with imaginitive ways of getting killed, it'll come all by itself.

I am 5'11, and 210. I used to run a 40 yard dash in 5.2 seconds, but i've not been able to do better than 5.4 after I injured my knee last year :(


I bench 200, squat 210, can curl a 55 dumbbell, but the most i've ever done with a curl bar is 90...I haven't worked out much in the past two months though....

I'm at 145 lbs, and 5'10". I don't even know how much I can press/lift/curl, etc... And I can't do mile runs for crap... I'm not a bad footballer though (as in soccer), and I can play hockey pretty well.
(Not that I'm weak, I've been described as a "wiry motherfucker", and I can out-fight people much bigger than me. Plus, I can shadowbox for 6 rounds straight. Go me!)

C. Half the hot girls in my school want to date me, yet I cant seem to ask them out....

I love sports, but I really don't like working out, unless its something like shadowboxing, sparring, hitting a punching bag... stuff like that. I like fighting... which will get me into serious trouble one day, probably...:(

I read a lot too. I love reading. I have a fucking library in my house! Most of the girls like me because they don't realize how damn boring I am outside of school. In school, I have this image of being the bad ass tough guy who's really nice, but is like that because he knows he could kick anyones ass. I have a dark side that alot of them think is hot, and they've told me that before too. I'm popular, and yet i'm not really like the other kids. I don't surf, my hair isn't touching my shoulders (I can't stand it being longer than half an inch). Stuff like that.


....Then they find out my idea of a good time is hanging out in the library or bookstore, reading history or Sci Fi books...though it doesn't bother some of them, the others are immediatley turned off lol

Interesting that you say that, since that was what my previous post was stating.

Try to keep comments in the interest thread. Hurtful thoughts, the zombies are slightly stronger than the NotLD zombies. Some of the monsters will be crazily hard to kill. And I'll "RP" the zombies.

I still ned two people to sign up as agents. They get cool weapons!!!! Once we get those two, I'll start the RP!!!

And by the way, never had a girlfriend, never been on a date, never gotten laid. Don't get into to much fights because I freak people out. (One's a bolt action Savage Arms shotgun inherited from my great grandpa, the other is a Rem 870 Wingmaster pump action [never could get used to the 870, especially considering that I'm left handed and involuntarily flip the safety on more often than not when shooting the 870, the Savage doesn't have that problem])

Dum-dums are FMJ bullets which a user has tampered with the intent to improve expansion.
JHP is a factory produced version (and are generally more accurate).

Still, I'll cut the ammo carried in the car to:

One 25 shell Box of #8 shot
Two 5 round boxes of rifled hollow point cast lead slugs
Of this, he will have used up 10 shotshells while getting to the mansion.

Total of 50 rounds (one box) of JHP bullets
By the time he reaches the mansion he will have used up both clips of ammo and will have to reload his magazines before he can use the 9 mm pistol again.


His car will be heavily dented, low on fuel, and bloodstained, windows cracked, a few windows are caved in, it has become a deathtrap and therefore was abbondoned in favor of the mansion until another means of transportation arrives (prefferably a tank).
His tire iron is bloodstained and bent.
His flashlight (amazingly) still works.


Even the original ammo carried was considerably less firepower than what the "legitimate" pawnbroker had, and my guy is a high-end crimminal, they need to be able to deal out a firefight with a SWAT team in order to have any hope of success in their line of business.

Oh well, I've offset that by the fact that my guy decided to try and take advantage of the chaos and then had to fight hs way to the mansion after he was disillusioned to the fact that he is in way over his head.

AH, I think of a dumdum as a JHP (which IS a type of dumdum, as you said). The only home-made expanding bullets I know of are cross-points.
And I know being a lefty is a pain when using firearms (since I am one). Catching a casing with your face because of a non-covered ejection port sucks.
The number of shells YOU have is of no concern to this RP, because we're assuming that we only have the ammo we could gather while on the run, and that we used some of it. So, ammo supplies would be pretty limited.

My personal favorite weapon (which I've fired I mean) is the AK-74M. It just looks bad ass with that Black hardplastic stock and all. Fires nice too. I fired 10 rounds at moving targets (beer bottles hehehe...no I don't drink, they were someone elses) I hit 8/10 of the buggers too :)

Again, they weren't mine. One of my buddies threw it, and I shot at it :D

We did that over and over again until we ran out of ammo. There were 20 rounds in the magazine, and we each took ten shots.

I never had a problem with hot brass when firing a right hand bolt action left handed, (and I became pretty good at it too) mostly because you must lower the gun in order to turn the bolt. So using a Lebel or Berthier wouldn't be as much of a problem for us lefties as it was to righties because we had to lower the gun anyways to reload (they have a very stiff bolt that required you to use both hands).

So, 2 and a half boxes of ammo and 2 guns is too much for a hitman to carry about on the streets? Especially when one considers that as soon as chaos broke out he most likely went after the local bar or gunshop rather than run to the police... at least until he started seeing things he knew he wouldn't be able to handle alone (such as Crimson Heads [guys he shot down but later got up again]).

Every player has a story of how they came to get to the mansion/farmhouse (except the agents and police), and I'm still wondering on how I'd be able to explain how come my guy is there and why he has what he has (whatever that may end up being, since nobody is going to offer a suggestion of how many weapons a crimminal would carry/find en route to the starting point).

Eh, I mostly practice with a 50 pound Compound bow (discontinued because someone decided to cash in on the single cam technology after every other company made a single cam bow, so now there are like only a dozen bow manufacturers left from literally hundreds).

Though the scouting program doesn't let you use your own (they give you the "girly bow" and shooting elfin sized shooting tabs (keeps the sting from "chewing" its way through your fingers when you release).

So when I don't have anything better to do (which I seldom have) and the target range is open, I pull up a stool at the rifle range and let loose with .22 cal rifles, which allowed me to get some experiance using various sights (scope, peep, appiture, and open), trigger pulls, stocks, barrels, and actions (Break, bolt, lever, muzzleloader and pump).

The modified 'lefty' bolt action single shot is perhaps the worst gun I've ever shot, for you must open the action with one hand, then load it with the other, then switch hands a third time to close the action and fire. It also tended to fling hot brass in your face. Something I was not entirely accustomed to at the time, and considering that the gun was designed and custom made for lefties, one assumed the people who made it hated you with a vengance, coincedentally, it was also the only gun they had with a scope)

Lever action was among the best types I tried, and only would require me to change hands to reload the tube magazine (which because of regulations I was supposed to do every time, unless given permission to load and discharge the magazine)

Then there were the few instances I fired BB guns at the smaller target ranges that did not allow firearms and with the pellet gun we picked up from some reletives to repair, and subsequntly test fired, and sighted in, and then attached a rifle scope that was formerly used on the Remington 870 shotgun.

Having to stop shooting to clear a gun barrel because you clogged it with dirt (because you let the muzzle drop when someone tapped your foot in order to tell you that you were leaning too far forward on the firing mat) is a very embarrassing thing to do. Although it is a rather quick and simple process (simply ram patches through until they come out clean).

9 mm, either it was his or he took it from a dead zombie cop (if the latter he would only have 3 to 5 clips) [about 50 rounds of JHP] killed with a tire Iron to the head.

Shotgun woud most likely have been "borrowed" from a local store he was robbing/looting until the timely intervention of some crimson zombies (2 large boxes #8 shot [50 shells]), most likely a sawed off.

I guess my guy could be an otherwise legitimate person who just did some rather questionable actions in order to get to the starting point.
