Energy for Sale

Akh-Horus's brand new Vigor IV and Vigor V thermonuclear fusion reactors have come online creating a huge surplus of energy for trade and sale.

Akh-Horus known as being the regional energy superpower dominating the energy market in the Region 5 years ago when it decided to expand the programme with its Vigor II and Vigor III reactors.

This has provided cheap, clean, enviromentally friendly energy. The positioning of Akh-Horus as a large island in the sea of the Mediterranean gives it the unique advantage of able to have enough deuterium and tritium to power the world for millions of years.

Because of the very low prices, the oil market in the region crashed as people turned to using battery powered cars and nations decomissioned their convential fossil fuels plants. In Akh-Horus, energy for personal use is free due to the cheap supply.

Do you want to prevent global warming? Do you want cheap, effective and constant energy supply to meet all your limits and more with no other alternative being no where near as cheap?

As Akh-Horus is a politically neutral nation in terms of international relations, we will supply your energy needs as long as you pay and naturally not attacking us.

You should be aware that there are several oil companies out there who
are probably not going to appreciate the the competition. At least one of
them has used military force in the past to advance their companies agenda.
Keep an eye out for the Griffencrest Corporation. Best of luck to you.

Spokesman Shaw picks up the telegram from the desk.

"The Griffencrest Corporation? interesting, war over the use of a volatile substance, which is the remains of dead plants and animals from millions of years ago."

He sighed.

"People are still living in the past? They should welcome and embrace this new technology uniting us all in peace and harmony for us to strive together."

"We should be quite safe, we do have loyal support from our customers who like the prospect of their money saving energy partnership. Any attacks would met with swift and brutal action. That is not even with us getting involved."

Puts the telegram into the shredder and the spokesman picks up the phone to make a few calls.

How much can I expect to pay for some of these reactors. They will be perfect to test my prototype chemical laser weapons. My nation hasn't quite figured out the secrets to fusion reactors.

FROM: Emperor Stephen Norris

Let me get right to the question; how much energy do they produce? And how much are they?

Thank you,
Emperor Stephen Norris

The Vigor reactors produce 3000-4000 MW of thermal power.

The reactors themselves cost $12.1 billion each which pays for its construction, matientence, staff and decomissing. They require access to a large water source to extract the deuterium and tritium.
(ooc: price came from ITER reactor being built in France in the real world.)

That package is a one off cost and comes insuranced.

We are looking towards making comprises which would lower the costs. (Materials etc being provided or exchange of other items/information.)

There is also the chance for integrating your nations powergrid with ours leaving us to provide your energy needs at much lower costs with only paying for what you use.
