The rise of the Machine. (FT, open, intro)

OCC: For all who know Warhammer 40K, this nation is based on the Adeptus Mechanicus, but with some modifications. You others should understand later.
IC:
Archmagos Quintus sat at the machine-cog shaped podium, and began recording the message, his rebreather mask somewhat muffling his words.
"To all the nations of the Galaxy, we are but a fledgling nation, having recently rediscovered the technology behind intergalactic communication. We are sending out this message not only to test our equipment, but also to invite diplomatic action, for we need vectors to whom we shall preach the word of the Machine-God! Praise be to the Machine."
Archmagos Quintus interfaced with the Machine-Spirit instilled into his brain by the Rite of Pure Thought. The Machine-Spirit queried the minor Techpriest in the seat across the room from him.
"It is done, then. We shall see if our new technology works." came the reply.

"Archmagos, it appears our equipment did not work. We shall appease the Machine-Spirits."
The Archmagos nodded at Techpriest Enginseer Marcus. Marcus pivoted on his torso-servos, gave orders to the servitors behind him, and then turned back.
"Archmagos, I am worried. What if our message did get out, and the other nations are simply too apathetic to notice us, or, worse, if our Cult is too small to be noticed?"
"Do not fear, Marcus. We are the True Servants of the Machine. We cannot be ignored for long, for the Omnissiah will bring us to our destiny regardless of where it lies."
As the two spoke, the banks of servitors behind Enginseer Marcus began chanting praise to the Machine-God, while libations of smouldering Machine-Oil were poured to appease the apparently recalcitrant Machine-Spirits residing in the Transmission Spire.
Outside the Spire, the atmosphere of the Forge World glowed, not with starlight, but with symbols. The inside of the poisonous pollution-cloud was covered with projected symbols, such as the circle, representing the wholness and infinity of knowledge of the Omnissiah, and the X, representing the four-pronged system of the Universe. The symbol of the Forge World, a double-axe overlaid with a Machine-Cog, spashed up into the sky as one last ritual. Then, the clouds returned to their normal, yellow-green color.
OOC: I am a little rusty on my greeting message….
IC:
The Inter-Galactic message eventually passed through the Milky Way towards the Yizaran Galaxy. This led the message towards the Galactic Superpower known as the Grand Interstellar Hegemony of Voloia. The aggressive Voloian race was eager to establish communication with new worlds for the goal of assimilating them into the Hegemony.
An Official Hegemonic Transmission was sent back towards the origin of the original communication.

The Grand Interstellar Hegemony of Voloia has received your message. Your message has been studied and verified this is your message point of origin. We would like to send a Diplomatic Delegation to your world to discuss possible political benefits between our two nations.
OOC: Taggage. Will have an IC response up shortly.

"Archmagos! Our Machinery has worked! We have recieved a message, admittedly an odd one."
"Understood, Enginseer Marcus. You and your entourage are dismissed."
As the Techpriest Enginseer left with his assigned Servitors, Quintus turned back to the screen in front of him, activating it with a quick prayer to the Machine-Spirit.
"Greetings, Voloia. A diplomatic group would be welcome, but you must understand, our world is not like any other. Your diplomtic group must not bring any weapons, must bring their own breathing systems if they do not wish to use our rebreathers, and may be accompanied by 20 uniformed soldiers. Please respond instanter."
With a wave of his servo-arm, the Archmagos sent the message and turned off the screen. He waited for the Machine-Spirits return-signal alarm.

The request for no weapons is reasonable however, to reach your galaxy we will need to bring a Heavy Cruiser to reach you safely from your estimated position. We hope this would not seem to be an aggressive move on our part.
It is just the Wormhole technology that allows us to jump from system to system does not have a long enough range to leave the Galaxy without the power from a capital ship like the Heavy Cruiser.
As for the rebreathers, We can supply our team with space suits to provide the needed oxygen to surrive in most inhospitable conditions. If I may ask however, Why would we need these items anyway?
"Ooooh, listen to this." Quester commented as he began playing the message.
"A technophilac nation?"
"That sounds like the long and short of it. Can we go, please please please?"
"Will you be up to your usual tricks?"
"No." He replied, though he fell short on the innocence he was trying to project.
Jenna sighed, "You know what the rules say."
"Please, I'll give you one of my famous foot-massages."
"Alas, you know my one weakness. Alright, but please try to keep the social chaos to a minimize this time."
This a scout ship of the Dominion of Theao. We have heard your message and are on our way to come for a visit if you don't mind of couse.

Archmagos Quintus was suprised when a second message arrived. He had been expecting a reply to the first. It was an odd message, but he read it nonetheless.
"We understand what you ask for. We shall allow the Avatar to enter our system, although our own Avatar of the Omnissiah shall Purge your weak machines if you dare attack us. We would be more comfortable if you sent a planet-based delegation. May the weak flesh be replaced by the Omnissiah."
Quintus sent the message, and then turned away, walking away from the podium, trusting that his personal Machine-Spirit would warn him if anything occured.
Just then, a third message appeared in his consciousness when the Machine-Spirit recieved it. He telepathically returned the message, his Machine-Spirit relaying it to the other machine, to be sent out across the galaxy to the scout ship.
"We would be happy to oblige."
"Good, now I can have a little fun with them." Quester commented as the scout ship translated into hyperspace. By the time they'd finished a game of BatChess, they'd arrived at the system where the message had originated.
We would like to request a place to land so we may meet your delegates.

The Archmagos's legs ground as he stomped triumphantly into the chamber of the Fabricator General.
"Master," he spoke through his rebreather, "we have recieved messages from the Machine-Spirits, as well as other nations. They, well, the other nations I mean, wish a place to land. Which orbital station shall it be?"
The Fabricator General's voice was low and raspy, as if the Machine-Spirit had consumed him entirely. "They shall land...they shall land on Station Seven. Have the Glave turn out in force to be there for them."
The Archmagos messaged a sense of understanding and turned.
"You, Theao, shall land on Orbital Station Seven. Here are the Coordinates..."
The Hegemonic Heavy Cruiser Caste Superior disengaged its orbital position above the home world. The massive warship held the Diplomatic Delegation meant to speak to the representatives of this New World.
The goal was to hopefully assimilate them into the Hegemony peacefully, If that failed they would inform the Militant Caste to begin military action against them and cleanse them from existence a most messy matter to be sure but one that ensured stability in this often dangerous universe.
The Heavy Cruiser finally powered up its wormhole generator and opened an instant connection from the Hegemony's home galaxy to the Milky Way Galaxy.
The Hegemonic Commander of the Ship Yikthor Naskal ordered the shields up weapons online. This was a standard precaution when leaving the safety and stability of the Hegemony. The massive warship would be at their destination in a matter of a few hours….
OOC:

Subspace sensors flaired throughout the Forge World. Something large, shielded, with massive power reserves was coming towards them. Automatically, the Machine-Spirits obtained their metaphysical equivalent of battlestations as the Titan Legions awoke from their slumber, the 'Spirited superwalkers moving out of their underground lair, kneeling before a gigantic black building. The building opened up, and out strode a three-hundred meter tall Titan, its green, living-metal armor shone in the light reflected from the clouds of the Forge World. They all stood as one, the Machine-Spirits communicating with eachother. Suddenly, a metaphysical pulse exploded from the head of the huge Titan, reaching through the Immaterium to the Machine-Spirits on board the Voloian 'eavy cruiser.
"Is your function War?"

The scout ship received the co-ordinates and travelled to the station. Exiting the vessel two people disembarked a brown haired woman with blue eyes and a blonde male with purple eyes.
Two-hundred Glaves knelt as they entered the station, power-axes emblazoned with the Machine-Cog symbol of the Forge World thumping on the floor. Their servo-arms folded in deference to the newcomers, while their standard human hands rose into the air. At the end of the corridor of Glaves waited the Archmagos.
"If you two will follow me, please." he said. "We have a security problem, and the Titan Legions are active. A warship, telepath the Machines, but we are attempting to calm them. So far, our worship has failed to move them, they seem to be busy with something in the Immaterium."
"Alright." Jenna replied, "Though in general praying at hostile warships just ends up with you getting shot."
"So you guys worship machines?" Quester asked with a faintly rougish smile.
The Hegemonic Commander of the Ship Yikthor Naskal nearly laughed at the message about if they were here for war. If they were here for war there would be more ships and more troop transports ready to cleanse this planet of sentient life thought the Commander silently.
The Col'Sar Officer was not amused at the readings he was receiving, This place was like a machine fortress ready to blow anything out of the system with sheer mechanic fire power.
The Ambassador to the Planet Lorthoran Vakor sent a transmission to notify the locals of their peaceful mission to peacefully talk to them about joining the Hegemony.

"So you guys worship machines?" Quester asked with a faintly rougish smile.
"No. To say it that simply is heresy. We worship machines which are honorable entourage units of the Machine-God. We do not worship all machines, even other ones which have spirits, because they are not necessarily of the true Machine. They are rogue, if you will."
Telepathically, Archmagos Quintus instructed the Glaves following him to quicken their pace, in case these apparently naieve Humans attempted something odd.
"What, precisely, are your ranks, Guests? And what may I call you?"
"I am Scout Jenna Marie." She replied
"And I am Quester of the scout ship Quester." He added

The Titan Legions became calm. Although it was a warship, it was not present for war. The Spirits remained in them, despite the Techpriests attempting to call them free, but they were relieved. The Techpriests elsewhere on the Forge World activated equipment, preparing to recieve the huge warship, which could not land on an orbital installation.

"Well, Scout Marie, Welcome. Welcome to you as well, Quester. Are you captain, or the equivalent function thereof? And if so, How may we serve?"
"No, I am the ship, or at least the more mobile on the ground portion." He commented, "Jenna's the one who would be closer to the captain even though that term doesn't apply to scout teams."

OCC: Me go now, continue tonight.
The Hegemonic Ship Commander upon receiving the reports the systems defenses had powered down ordered the weapons offline in response. The Commander hoped this would inspire trust however, He kept the shields up in case some misunderstanding during the diplomatic meeting would force him into a fighting situation. That was always a possibility in dealing with alien races like humans.
The Voloian Heavy Cruiser held its position waiting for the equipment to dock somewhere. It shields still activated but it's powerful Plasma torpedo launchers and its Particle Beam Cannons deactivated. Its Point Defenses were also turned off but only to conserve power...

"Voloian Heavy Cruiser, move to station keeping where you are, please. An Explorator class escort vessel will move alongside of you where you may affect any means necessary of transporting your diplomatic embassy aboard."
Soon after this transmission, the Explorator vessel did exactly as ordered.
"No. I am the ship's avatar and we are partners. Equals." He replied
Jenna shook her head slightly, wondering at how these technos would take self-willed inorganics.

"So, Avatar, have you met our Avatar? The Avatar of the true Machine-God? Your god, in fact, even if you have not learned, which is forgiveable.
But what of you, Jenna? You are mysterious. Are you a low rank in your country or do you not have the technology to make augmentations?" asked the Archmagos, waving his servo-arms and mechadendrites demonstratively.
"Not to get into a theological argument, but I don't follow a Machine-God nor does any Theao, human or AS. I'm an adherent to Mizu-L religious order." He replied

"True, Jenna, they're ugly. But they are capable. These servo-arms can pick up a Leman-Russ tank and tear it apart, and the mechadendrites are, well, I can't tell you until you demonstrate similar technology.
The primary reason to have them, though, is our belief. The Omnissiah dictates that 'the weak flesh shall be replaced by the strong metal.' And so we have done.
Avatar, I understand what you are saying. We shall not force you to obey, for the Omnissiah is Machine, unfeeling and somewhat uncaring, but that also means he cannot be angry or indignant. Might I try something on you?"
The Archmagos instructed his resident Machine-Spirit to break down the false barriers of time and space separating the Avatar from his Machine-parts, and attempted to read his thoughts. "Do you understand me, Avatar?" He thought.

the fleet sent out many probes in the effort of mapping the galaxy and finding sencient life. most found mothing but one was lucky. they picked up a message from a flegling nation as they once were many years ago. the thirty three ships of the flotilla moved to the origin point of the signal. they sent a message in responce:
From: explorer fleet 2
to: unknown race
body: This is the waterhelper explorer fleet two. We would like to open diplomatic relations with you. our estimated time to arrival is 3 hours 32 min 5 seconds.

"They might be able to lift one, but can your legs stand it?" Jenna asked as she decided that comparing techs was not really useful, at least not without a valid comparitive baseline. "If you want to be entirely converted into it can be fairly easily, thought not entirely cheaply, arranged."
"If he can not feel, then he is no true sentient." Quester replied as the Archmagos attempted his 'telepathic' actions only to find it fail as it hit a 'firewall'. "And frankly I'd prefere if you didn't. At least not without explaining what you intend first."

Archmagos Quintus parted his robes so that Jenna could better examine them. Grey, dead flesh was pinned on over hydraulic servos, while tentaclelike mechadendrites kept him balanced, darting up and down, rooting him to the floor at times, lifting him off it at others. Suddenly, the Archmagos was startled. He had hit a psychic wall when attempting to speak with the Avatar. He then switched to simple wireless transmissions.
"I apologize if I seem invasive. You are quite a psychic machine, you must have a Machine-Spirit. Of course, within the Cult, artificial sentiences are considered Heresy, but they are tolerated if necessary. I apologize if I insult you in any way."
"Ah, letting the flesh rot for your techno parts." She commented, "So what do you do with all your technology, do you work to improve it or what?"
"No offence but I don't or at least don't think so. It's kind of difficult in having something that you disbelieving in. Then frankly you wouldn't like it in Theao as a portion of the population are AS." He replied

"Our technology is revered, and yes, improved. Our main way of improving it, however, is scavenging the technology left behind by Chronosia's destruction of the Imperium of Man. In fact, our Titan Legions are made up of war machines from that period, and the Avatar of the Omnissiah is a sacred STC Titan. And to you, Avatar, the only reason sentient machines are heretical is because we once fought a war with the "Iron Men" in our history, who were sentient machines who believed organic life was illogical. They were machines who fell from the Omnissiah's grace, just as you have, if you do not mind me saying so. Thankfully, the Omnissiah gave us his Avatar to destroy them.
Now, we have arrived at the shuttle-bay to the surface. Please, choose a seat."
In front of them was an acorn-shaped ship, with an axe-cog emblazoned on the side. Two multilaser turrets on the back pivoted back and forth, and the computer screens were red and blinking.
"So you improve your technology by scavenging. That smacks of a lack of inspiration." Jenna commented, "But what is a STC?"
"Also there are cybernetic races out there who appear to share the verdicts of your 'Iron Men'." Quester commented, "And you're free to hold your beliefs on my being 'fallen' but you'll have to excuse me if I disagree. Also would you be willing to give a bit of a demonstration of your tech?"
The two took seats in the shuttle and awaited it's departure.

"An STC is a Standard Template Construct. We have finally found one uncorrupted by the Daemons of Chaos. In fact, amusingly enough, this Titan uses Daemons as ammunition! HAH!
We shall demonstrate our technology soon enough, Avatar. Please remain seated."
The sides of their seats released two tubes which restrained the passengers. The Archmagos pressed a few buttons, and the computers blinked an angry red. He grimaced, then knelt on the floor, extending mechadendrites to stable his ungainly hydraulic legs. He crossed his hands in the sign of an X on his chest, an mumbled. "Surge, Anima Machina. Surge et auxile me."
Suddenly, as soon as he stood up, the computer screens ceased blinking and turned a dull, pleasant blue. Lights came on, and the turrets outside retracted back into their casings. The Archmagos inserted his mechadendrites into the wall sockets, suspended himself in the air, and shouted "Brace Yourselves!" as the drop pod ejected from the orbital station towards the planet.

Magos Arthridates and fifty Glaves greeted the group, noting that they had come bringing soldiers, armor, and weapons. Their armor was thin compared to Mechanicus standard, but, then, they probably could not psychically communicate with their armor, either. Not the way Machine-Spirits could, even if they had AI. In any case, the weapons packs were similar to the Tactical Dreadnought Terminator armor used by the foot soldiers of the Titan legions, so they at least were powerful. The shimmering field could only be an energy shield, long replaced in the Mechanicus with void shielding, but still effective.
Well, if they showed martial strenght, then so shall we!
Magos Arthridates psychically nodded to the Glaves, who snaked to attention, their power-axes emblazoned with a machine-cog glowing in the light, their servo arms tightly folded like wings behind their backs. They slung their hellguns across their backs, and bolters were holstered.
"Greetings, friends. From the Machine-Cult. I am Magos Arthridates."
"Alright, what is meant by a Standard Template Construct?" Jennna asked
The two relaxed as the pod dropped from the station. She was use to exceptionally vicious turbulence and high-gs and he didn't have to worry about it at all.

"A Standard Template Construct is a Machine left behind from the previous people who occupied our planet before us, and were left behind so that the will of the Omnissiah could be furthered."
The dropship rocketed through the atmosphere, then braked, slowing until it dropped upon the tarmac. The doors opened, and the passengers were released. The Archmagos strode out of the pod on his mechadendrites rather than his legs, almost like a spider. He setteled himself onto the tarmac, and instructed a nearby Servitor to guide them down to the Fabricator General.

After unbuckling and disembarking, and being introduced to Unit 1126 PLL. "So I take it you're off to do something else then?" Jenna asked the Archmagos.
Space. Black, endless, and quite empty. At least it had been. There was no fanfare, no blast of warpfire, in fact, nothing signalling the arrival of the Otagian vessel at all. It was merely there. With an invisible push, its smooth form soared gracefully through the black, widebands activating, pulsing a message towards the planet.
Hail to the Machine God. This is Otagian Avatar Vessel Wheedling Dissembler, requesting landing coordinates.

"Interesting...Most interesting. I want you to establish communications. We'll have to keep our eye on the situation."
"As you require..." It bowed its head, turning from the towering figure, engaging the correct prayer mechanisms, silently beseeching the Machine Spirits to aid him.
Hail, blessed Brothers of the Machine. We come in the name of the Machine God, of the divine Omnissiah, to bring our light to you again. We offer hands in friendship, and understanding. The power reading from the ship were best rated at insane. Moments later a message was sent using the same frequencies the original message was sent.
This is The Eldritch Might. I have been sent by the Balrogga Empire to meet with you and to determine your intentions. Where may I land and what am I allowed to bring?

"Yes, Jenna. Chronosia has been located." Said the Archmagos as the Servitor led the pair away.
***
"Wheedling Dissembler, we are reading you. Unfortunately, the Fabricator General has decreed that Chronosia should recieve the docks first, so after they come in, then you may enter the atmosphere and dock at Surface Docking Station 11."
***
"The Machine-God blesses us with your arrival, Chronosia. Indeed, we are but one of a multitude of Forge Worlds and are glad to be reunited. But, even as we are impressed with your technology, we have one gift to give to the Great Chaos Emperor, if that be his title. We have discovered the Avatar of the Omnissiah. An STC Titan. We do not wish to fall under your corruption, for we believe in a different form of the Machine-God. But we do wish to assist you in any way, with our own equipment as well as Titans and standard Imperial weaponry. We have many more gifts to give you, such as gigantic supertanks operated only by prayers to the Machine-Spirits within them..."
***
After some time, a message was recieved coming from a ship calling itself The Eldritch Might. The Machine-Spirits began complaining, machinery riling all over the planet. The Glave-leaders began the Chants to the Omnissiah, calling on the Avatar to assist them. Other, more unwarlike beings attempted to make contact.
"We understand your ship name has something to do with the Eldar Race. Please, do not allow it to be so. The Eldar are mysterious, and are best destroyed when found. Please, tell us what you wish."

After a few minutes, a message was returned to the forgeworld.
Please excuse the delat, we had to check the various meanings of the name to understand your request. The word "Eldritch" means great power from an ancient time. The Empire has nothing to do with the Eldar race. We actually think they won't have anything to do with us either. It works out better in the end for both this way.
Are we allowed to land and what am I allowed to bring aboard?

"Understood, Balrooga. Sorry for our mistake, we are paranoid. The Omnissiah be praised! You may land behind Otagia, or you could send any shuttle capable of penetrating the polluted atmospherere. Land at coordinates Grid Kilo Square 23. Bring a diplomatic envoy and up to 20 others."

OOC: Ahm my vice admiral is waiting :)
"Vice Admiral Dobar, we apologize for the delay. Much was happening to the Machine-Spirits recently and mine was informing my slower organic portion of it. Pleased to meet you in the name of the Omnissiah." Magos Arthridates extended two servo arms and a human hand, the two servo arms grasping a polished machine-cog and a bottle of blessed machine oil. The human hand was held out, holding a minature axe, with the machine-cog emblazoned on its surface.
"These are gifts to you, Vice Admiral. Please, if you have any questions, ask them now."

The mistake is forgiven and forgotten. We will be dispatching a shuttle momentarily.
A small black angular object detatched from the frigate and fell towards the forgeworld. As it neared the atmosphere, it began to slow and it began a controlled descent towards Grid Kilo Square 23 as requested.
As the strange black angular craft broke through the thick obscuring vapors, it furthered slowed and began a verticle descent straight onto the platform. The gravemetric engines carried the shuttle to the landing pad without a sound. The ship came to halt, hovering about a hand's width from the surface. The front of the craft melted open and out stepped the passenger. The front of the ship reformed once he was clear.

"Greetings, in the Name of the Machine-God. I am Tesserarius Quartus. I will be your guide to the World as you wait for an audience with the Fabricator General. Very impressive technology on your ship, similar to our mechadendrites and the armor of our Titans. We call it Vivum Ferrum, or "Living Iron." What, by the way, might I call you?"
The greeting came from a nearly entirely metal figure standing in front of the ship. Three other similar figures were around him. "These are the other members of my team, since I am a Tesserarius. Have you any questions?"

The vice admiral took the gifts and signaled to the guard. He had a data pad. The admiral took it and gave it to Tesserarius Quartus.
"This is a collection of all the races we have encountered thus far. It should be helpful. Also what are the gifts you gave me." Several nanobots came out of sweat glands and becan analizing the gifts.

"Pour the Machine-Oil on any Machine and that Machine shall work, just as the Omnissiah has decreed. That Machine-Cog is the symbol of the Omnissiah, and the axe emblazoned with the Machine-Cog is the symbol of our nation. They are made of living metal, the same stuff manufactured at the Titan Works, and which our Stormhammer tanks are created from."

OOC: CASTIGATOR! XD
An STC Titan! Truly an achievement worthy of the Machine God! We would know more of this. We do not enforce our taint upon any, brothers. It is far more satisfying to convince them of the glories and the merits of our path. Would you share knowledge with us? Would you acquaint us with your new worship?
A vast warship tore itself free of the Immaterium, bearing the name Fleshbreaker. Emblazoned upon its side was the Mechanicus sign, inlaid over an Eight Pointed Star. On board, Aesri himself waited, along with attendants from the Mechanicus, as well as his favored Warsmiths and Tech Marines.
"They show much promise, and we shall learn all they have to offer. Then, we shall enlighten them in turn."
Jenna and Quester followed the Servitor while having a private conversation concerning what they'd learnt.

OCC: Indeed. Dark Adeptus is a good book.
IC:
"Indeed, we understand and we shall show you our knowledge. We possess the Living Metal, of which the enemies of the Old Ones were constructed, the servants of the Star Gods. We have salvaged a tomb-world once, and defeated, or rather forced the Stray Machines (OCC: necrons) to fall away. We salvaged their technology, and have incorporated it into our weapons. These we shall show you, and more. Such is the will of the Omnissiah, who blesses us with your Divine Presence."

Jenna and Quester followed the Servitor while having a private conversation concerning what they'd learnt.
"Here we are, Jenna and the Avatar. These are the quarters of the Fabricator General."
In front of the Servitor were two red doors, emblazoned with the axe-cog symbol of the Machinae. Circles and holy X symbols were written onto the door and walls nearby. Two small boxes on either side of the doorway unfolded into two servo arms, searching the two newcomers. The Servitor was shut down and moved out of the way by a third servo-arm, coming from the ceiling.
"Enter when the arms have completed." said a voice.
"My name is Questor, not Avatar." He commented with a scowl while the arms did there thing.
ooc: What are they looking for, weapons?

ooc: What are they looking for, weapons?

"You may enter" said the voice, ignoring the quip from the Avatar. If he called himself Avatar of the nation, then he was the Avatar. But Questor it shall be.
Upon entering the room, there was only a single light, shining on an entirely inhuman face. A rebreather mask covered all of it, except for a pair of augmetic eyes which whirred as they watched the pair. Their red lenses flipped between purple and green as analyses of the pair were conducted.
"I am the Fabricator General of this World. You are a pair of diplomats. Questor, I can already tell you are unfortunately depraved. Your artificially constructed sentience has absorbed the soul of your Machine-Spirit. You are forsaken of the Omnissiah. You, Jenna, I do not know about. What would you say if I were to do...this?"
A long tentacle-like mechadendrite flicked across her face, making a tiny, surgical cut across her cheek.
"I would say you were ignorant of proper proceedure and had I come from a more vengeful nation, looking at a world of hurt." She commented as the cut sealed in seconds.
"Well I also think you're depraved for what you have done to yourself." Questor replied, "And I have no interest in you Omnissiah."

"You are not of the Omnissiah, Jenna. I was merely attempting to see if you were one of the Chaos, as well. But you are merely flesh. And I am not depraved. I am the Machine on this world. I am the Controller, the Fabricator. I create, and destroy, what I wish, unless the Omnissiah wills its protection.
In any case, now that I am sure you are not agents of Chaos, what do you wish of me?"
"You were the one, or one of your agents anyways, was the one who sent out the message that you wanted to speak to the universe at large, so why did you want to speak with the universe anyways?" She asked back.

To make contact, primarily with Chronosia, but with others, so that we may preach the word of the Machine, and so that the swelled ranks of our Titan Legions may be thinned on the fields of battle, fighting for the Machine and against the forces who oppose our allies and the Fell Gods.
"You do know that Chronosia follows Chaos don't you?" Questor asked
"Oh, the citizen who first met us said something about explaining your general technology." Jenna commented

"Yes. Chronosia is Chaos. But they also are our, albiet fallen, bretheren. We might fall as well, but we will not fall as far as Daemonhood!
And about that technology, yes, we shall. Watch the hologram, please."
The hologram was a battlefield, long since abandoned, but now alive with fire. On one side were the Titan Legions, the gigantic Titan war-machines striding through fire, spitting out missiles, shells, and lasers at an astonishing rate. Foot soldiers fired hellguns as aircraft dropped more troops and Stormhammer, Baneblade, Shadowsword, and Stormblade super tanks rent and tore at the ground, covering their smaller Leman Russ bretheren who weaved about, firing. On the opposing side were black, skeletal soldiers, firing green bolts of light which dissolved their targets in seconds. Larger, hovering vehicles punched holes through Leman Russ tanks, only to be incinerated in the fire of the heavy Mechanicus tanks. The Titans dueled with a new enemy, gigantic hovering cubes, designated "Monoliths." These Monoliths appeared to be lagging. Then, they all fired as one. The chest of the lead Titan disintegrated, its void shields long failed, and the Titan fell to its knees. As the smoke cleared, it got back up, swiveling its damaged torso towards the new enemy, firing.
The metal on its chest was healing. Quickly.
"Interesting. I see you do pretty well against the Necrons." Jenna commented

"You know of the Stray Machines. Have you fought them? We do indeed. They are Forsaken of the Omnissiah, their Machine-Spirits consumed with irrational hatred, and slaved to the command of the thirsting Star-Gods. We have much of their technology, and we have refined it. Tell me, what do you know of the Warp?"
"I have not fought them but seen them in action, thought there have been a few minor skirmishes." She replied, "And the Warp is annoying, messy and generally chaos possessed."

"I have not fought them but seen them in action, thought there have been a few minor skirmishes." She replied, "And the Warp is annoying, messy and generally chaos possessed."
"Yes, but there is great power in it. Have you seen the Avatar of the Omnissiah? It is a Titan, but larger than all of the rest. In fact, it was created from an STC. One of its more potent weapons utilizes this power from the warp. Observe the screen again."
On the screen was a different field, a field again long forgotten, but nearby was a destroyed city labled "Vervunhive." Several Imperial Guard regiments were there as well, fighting against the Mechanicus forces.
"This was when we broke from the Imperium and went into isolation. Observe the upper right corner of the Imperial line, please."
Near a formation of tanks and infantry, glowing pulses began to tear into their ranks. As the camera moved closer, screams could be heard, not of men, but of Daemons. The Material Realm scalded their skin as they were wrenched out of the warp and into the firing mechanism of the gigantic Titan nearby.
"Here, we see the main anti-infantry weapon of our Avatar in action. It is based on the Gatling Blaster, but it fires Daemons instead of shells. Delightful, isn't it? They possess anyone nearby they can find, to avoid being burned alive by this reality, and then promptly begin killing one another and the Enemy. Additionally, of course, our glorious Avatar has multiple upgraded Volcano Cannons, but its main weapon is undiscloseable. I am sorry."
"It is interesting, but I can spot a few weaknesses right off." Jenna commented, "One being it is appearently vunerable against orbital, interplanetary or intraplanetary bombardments."
"So do you have any more clips?" Questor asked, "Or perhaps any questions, as otherwise we shall be going, places to explore and all that."

"These weapons are small rail guns that contain a replicator by default but also accept clips. The standard ammunition for it... the one that is to be used currently when fired... is several thousand nanobots encased in a titanium carbide casing. The nanobots are also standard defence they have the mission to incapacitate a target by using the embedded slug as raw material, heal the target, and render him unconscious. They can also kill and assimilate technologies and transmit them to our ship for analysis. That is what we are doing now with the gifts you gave us with the nanobots present in our body." explained one of the guards

“I am De’Varn. Thank you for your complement We have worked long and hard to obtain what we have. While I am unfamiliar with your mechadendrites or the armor of your Titans, I can assure you the ship is not made out of your Living Iron.”
“It is an element we call Thur’Tegh and contains crystalline matrixes in its molecular structure, something which Iron does not have. I will not deny it is living though because it is most certainly alive.”
“As far as questions, I am confident you will be a good enough guide that I will not need to ask many.”
De’Varn regards the three companions and then turns to face the ship. Three blobs melted off the vessel and then grew legs, arms, and spikes. A reptilian-looking head formed atop the insect-like body. The creatures examined their surroundings with their eyeless heads before stepping up behind De’Varn. De’Varn turns to face Tesserarius Quartus.
“I will match the number of escorts I have by the example you have shown so things will be equal between us. These are Kythons, the soldiers we created and employ.”
