The Island of the Young And Fair

Oliver Twist Island
17-07-2006, 06:30
Groups of children and women founded this state, named ''Oliver Twist Island'' because of this. Here, the women and girls had set a Queendom. The Queendom was founded by Queen Alice I, first Queen. She was married to the first foreigner, John Campbell, a British man who found the island.

The island was a absolute monarchy, only after Campbell came in. Campbell became King of the nation. He drew up ''The Revised Charter'' in which he revised the old Charter with additions from British ways. He also had British people come and settle here, outnumbering the Founders, the people who first came.

Queen Alice bore several children, including Prince Henry, the heir. Henry I ruled after his father passed. Henry I was known as a kind ruler, giving to charities. He married the 18 year old Elizabeth Pennyweather, a beautiful young woman. She bore Henry several children but sadly left the world after giving birth to a daughter, Sarah (Sarah the Survivor). Henry missed Elizabeth so much, he never remarried.

Henry was succeeded by Prince Phillip. Phillip was also a kind ruler, marrying Anne Chancellor. She bore him three children. She was a kind woman, helping her two daughters and one son, Prince Louis. Louis was the heir and took power after Phillip.

Louis married Miranda Berryman, named after a Shakespeare character. It is known that Louis once took Miranda to a Shakespeare play (with the Miranda role in it) for an anniversary.

Louis's wife passed from an illness, and Louis remarried some time later, though he said: ''I will always love my darling Miranda''. His second and last wife was Isabella Bridgeman. Female names from things like Shakespeare were used sometimes to name daughters.

Isabella was a nice woman, friendly to people. She outlived her husband, whom she bore several more children (or less, thinking). Isabella, after her husband's departure from the Earth, lived alone, not remarrying. She had tooken in her wing a boy and girl who were siblings found from a ship wreck. The boy would become a figure and the girl would later marry Prince Oliver, successor to Louis.

After more and more years, the current King, Oliver II is King. Married to Marie Verdoux, a French girl of high beauty and with children, including the heir, Oliver III, Oliver II hopes to have a good reign. Will he have one?
