Having knowledge of the future has been a feat wanted by so many throughout time, just wanting to know what the future holds for ourselves. The selfish and the foolish, the royalty and the peasantry, the people and the Gods. Because when a universe becomes so vast in its expansion that vast empires stretch across galaxies and races fight themselves when greater enemies are at foot, and when people become non believing in a greater power, even the Gods themselves wish they knew what was going to happen next.

If the Gods knew what was about to happen on Ithildoria, they would walk the universe and personally stop such actions. The planet itself was not at fault, such a beautiful creation as Ithildoria couldnt be put down with its vast expanses of forest; the stunning natural beauty of the waterfalls and the rolling plains; and the brilliantly blue sky. Its people were not at fault, such an abiding collection of pure-minded people as the Vashians couldn't be doing anything wrong. Everything from the outset looked perfectly fine.

Ithildoria was a haven where man and beast lived in perfect harmony as nature had intended.

---------

The mid evening rains had just started, everyone taking shelter for the five minutes they usually lasted. Each droplet plummeted towards the ground, making contact with something. It hit the ground and left an obvious mark on it; hitting glass roofs giving a pleasant sound within; and hitting the water sending out a ripple, telling a story so deep in meaning the elders couldn't comprehend it.

With the rains came the changing of day into night, the sun setting quickly at that precise point. It worked like clockwork. However, today, it was already night time. The people were confused, for their whole lives, and their father's lives, and their father's father's lives, the rain had ended the day.

Something was amiss.

"Sir! Something is happening at ITH002,567."

"The village of Gerapatico?"

"Yes Sir, an abnormal occurence. It could be an enemy never seen before, or it could be a continuum fracture."

"There is no way an enemy could be found on Ithildoria, we have guarded it alongside Harlequin Fleet for ten years now and nothing has come near it."

"A continuum fracture then?"

"Must be, send an expeditionary force down there, check it out. Send 798."

"Sir!"

A continuum fracture could mean only one thing, the enemy was back, stronger than they were before.
