OOC: Well, it's often the first post, but yeah, they have been quiet for a while. Calm before the storm?

OOC: I remember my own first post. Short of declaring war on EVERYONE, I think I posted a advert for mach 3 capable jet fighters. Needless to say they, as well as my post were shot down in flames. lol

You seem to be an upstanding citizen of the current NS community. I’ve been out of the game for about a year. Anything interesting happened while I was away?

OOC: Well, I don't know if you were around for the whole Kraven thing, so I'll give you a brief summary on that.

The Kraven Corporation= really evil.

Invaded a bunch of people.

Somewhere around fourteen anti-Kraven alliances formed and for the most part got shot down in flames.

Currently he's taking a vacation.

Let's see. The GASN formed, which is Global Alliance of Sovreign Nations (http://forums.jolt.co.uk/showthread.php?t=477689)...

Oh, AMF's at war with Sniper County (or Country). I don't know if you remember those two. Probably AMF, but I don't know about SC.

Um... oh, a Corporate Alliance formed, although they don't have any huge power as of yet.

(Kraven's nominally a member, but he's not on much)

Couple big land grabs, most significant probably being Arterus.

OOC: Heh, I got an advertisement and I didn't even need to pay for it. :D

OOC: Well it currently seems to be the biggest alliance, so I figured it was significant. Besides, I'm part of it, so I'm scratching my own back here.

Actually, it seems that the RP forums have gone into overdrive since I left. I can remember people only ever having serious RP within groups of friends or regions. The whole idea seems very global now.

As a morally upstanding nation with somewhat significant military power and vast NS and RP experience, would it be advisable for me to contact any particular alliance/ be prepared to pummel any afore mentioned tyrants.

Does anyone know a good region to enter?

OOC: Well, you could always join the GASN, but as for tyrants to pummel... in MT/PMT anyways, we've currently got the CA, who appear to be setting themselves up as opposed to the GASN, Kraven, who's on vacation, let's see... there's that Undershi guy, but he's already badly outnumbered on three fronts... I really wouldn't advise attacking AMF, who's mostly passively evil anyways...

So, no huge threats to the world just now.

I reviewed Kraven’s profile. How did that guy even make a dent in international politics with a population of roughly 1 Billion? Allies?

OOC: Couple of reasons.

A) He's a good roleplayer, even if his grammar isn't perfect.

B) Not so much allies as Slave States. Basically he invaded several people and they ended becoming part of the Kraven Empire, so he drew on their population and resources.

C) With a complete disregard for human rights, a lot of his female population are connected as or used as 'birthing vectors', (I never asked for the details) and he had genetically enhanced CP (Capitol Police) which were considerably more dangerous than your average soldier.

I'm not quite clear on the details, but he got invaded by AMF, lost his homeland, and came back.

Great RPing skills... he wrote some really good stuff, and welcome back... and atm, there's really no big alliances that go around and dethrone tyrants anymore... nor is there two great big alliances at standoff... I think...

The Republic of Ranton does not take insults to our country join us or we will defeat you and yes we may be small but The Republic of Ranton have got a few tricks up our sleeve.

OOC: Ranton, let me explain a few things to you. At 2 % my millitary=24,460,000. That's more than four times the size of your entire population.

My defense budget is $8,171,687,620,958.40. Your entire GPD is $102,391,071,398.00, And I'm far from the most powerful nation here.

Boy! Shut up while you’re still marginally ahead! If I still had the links I could send you to some very interesting threads were, in the past, nations very like mine have squashed aspiring world dominators AND minnows who are too much of a nuisance.

Meh... I'm not going to go into the exploits, but ranton, seriously, please, at the top of the II page is a series of stickes... I strongly urge you to read them, then try and find someone with a link to the RP academy, so you can gain some respect...
