Parthia, Master of the East

The Parthian Empire
13-07-2006, 06:17
The Parthian Empire signed a peace accord with Rome, after getting to as far as Greece. The Parthians were in command of Armenia, as well as most of Anatolia and Greece. They were now in power in the Eastern Roman Empire, at least what would have been.

When Constantine the Great legalized Christianity in Rome (Western Rome, as well as territories in the Parthian Empire that Rome had lost time before), the Parthians later followed suit in legalizing Christianity. Parthians were in power in Jerusalem, as well as Egypt and other lands.

Some time later, the Parthian Empire was led by Heraclius, a Greek man. He is known for the Exploits of the True Cross and also for the wars with the Muslims. The Parthian Empire fought with Abu Baker, a compatriot and follower of the Way of Muhammad.

The Arabs expanded through, until reaching Yarmuk. At the Battle of Yarmuk, the Parthians could have won, but the Muslims succeeded and in doing so, took Egypt, the Holy Land and other lands as well from Parthia.

Parthia now composed of Parthia (Persia, etc) and New Parthia (Asia Minor, much of the RL Byzantine Empire somewhat). Heraclius protected Parthia from Abu Bakr, so Islam did not go into Persia (Islam did go into Persia, India and other lands at some point).

Later in time, Constans II took over. Constans named Mithradoros as ''Commander of the East (Parthia, etc)'' and himself as the Western One, though he was still the head man. It was to remodel the Empire a bit. (Planning on how to use the dynasty that ruled as the Sassanid Empire)

In the west, the Parthians had seized Rome, their old enemy. That was a event for them but when it was lost, they did not really like that but hey, what could one do?

Now, in the Era of the Crusaders, the Parthians held Armenia and Area, connecting the Western and Eastern lands. The Parthians looked at Jerusalem but did not invade it, though they did have things with Crusaders and later Mongols.

The Turks came but the Parthians made them in their service, Turks proved well in battles like Manzikert with enemy Turks.

Parthia at 1453.....

At 1453, Parthia was at peace. They began plans for a new operation. The plan was to expand in the West (like Mehmed II after finishing the Byzantines). They enacted their plans, almost getting to Rome before losing at Otranto for example.

The man, Mehmed (Mehmed II in real life) was a military general, known as El Fatih, the Conqueror for his conquests. Later, a Turk named Suleyman would rise as a Governor of Bosnia, becoming the Magnificent Governor. Roxelana married the Parthian Ruler, who took only one wife.

Many Turks were in service roles, useful for Parthian rulers. In Bosnia, Suleyman the Magnificent Governor ruled well, enacting reforms and protecting native Bosnians.

At 1914.....

Ah, 1914, year of the Great War. What a year, The Parthians were in command of much of the Middle East, Persia and other lands. When the Great War went out into force, Parthia stayed neutral, though with German help, won in Gallipoli against the Allies which did not effect neutrality.

Some time after the war and that, Parthia lost lands like the Hejaz, Iraq, Jordan and others, though it held Egypt still, using the Sea to go to it. Israel was still held for a bit, before the British came in, leaving Parthia with the City of Nahariyya (look for the CIA Map of Israel to see it), they called it Palestinople.

The Parthian Empire at 1939 watched as Germany went to war with Poland and WWII breaking out. The Parthians stayed neutral in the war, but were on ok terms with Germany. However, Greece was not invaded, for relations were good.

The Parthians went on through the 50's, 60's and so on and now, still continue themselves as the Parthian Empire. Today, the Parthians still rule a great Empire, will it continue?
