Hydra Cordatus is a massive Imperial Citadel, an enormous bastion of defense for an entire sector. Set upon a world of perpetual blizzard, it rests commanded by an entire legion of Imperial Guardsmen, the 383rd Jouran Dragoons, whom deal everyday with the hellish cold and pure tedium of inactivity, and another Legion of Titan War Machines. However, what the Garrison does not know, is the dark secret which lies beneath them, in the heart of the very Citadel which they strive to defend.


The Iron Warriors know it's secret. This Traitor legion shall stop at nothing to claim it as well. Specializing in siege warfare, they are just the group to take it as well....



(This has a preset ending. After 14 days of siege and battle, Hydra Cordatus falls. Basically, create either a Guardsmen, or a Chaos Marine, and go from there. I will RP a character on both sides, as may you, and I will inform you of events, which you respond too. I hope this works out, and with you all, it shall.

I'll tell ya what though. If noone joins this, or when it's done if people do, I'm doing one based on the Ten Year long campaign of Lorn V, where 10,000 Guardsmen fought on a factory world against 10,000,000 orks. When I do that, you can control the whole damn Orkses warband.

Yeah, Storm of Iron by Graham McNeill, great book, probably one of the best from the 40k universe with Fifteen Hours and Dead Sky Black Sun (Storm of Iron's "Sequel" of sorts) Harder than hell to get your hands on, at least it used to be, but they started printing them again, cause Black Library was getting so many orders.

Pfft; Eisenhorn, Grey Knights/Dark Adeptus, Horus Rising/False Gods, Ravenor, Nightbringer, Warriors of Ultramar! Come on, those books equal, and in some cases surpass the ones you mentioned :P

Also, if your gonna rip something off, rip off an awesome historical event; The Siege of Terra, Armageddon 1-3; Come on! use the noodle! XD

I've not yet read the Eisenhorn books (gonna buy the Omnibus after i finish the Last Chancers one). Warrior's of Ultramar is a great book, but I don't think it was as good as its sequel (Dead Sky Black Sun) which I still say is one of the best books ever written. Horus Rising is great, and the damned book stores haven't got False Gods yet *curses*.

As for this RP, I'll start it in a little bit, i'm trying to see if more people will come other than us 4-5. It might be 6 when Chronosia comes back. He'll never pass up a chance to play Chaos, especially Iron Warriors.
