I've done loads of these. They're more for me to remember stuff about my place, but if other people wanna read this then feel free.
Name: The Cyber Empire
Name in Full: The Cyber Empire of Vespeterium Minor

Primary Planet: Planet 1.0 (formerly Arborius.)

Economic Overview: Despite open hostility to others, the cyverons still trade with other alien powers and maintain a stable economy.
Climate on Planet 1.0: It is cold almost all year round. More fragile species cannot survive here. Humans survived and flourished, as did Arborians. The Cyverons have no trouble with the extreme cold. They have problems in extreme heat though.
Technology on Planet 1.0: The Cyverons are advanced. Their system of transformation is unknown (though mostly because other people do not wish to know it) to other species. They have a large fleet and powerful weaponary (though no more powerful than most other powers.)
The Cyverons: The mysterious beings that inhabit Planet 1.0 seemed to spring from nowhere. In fact, years of careful planning by a meglomaniac human were behind their creation.
The Cyverons are human, but now their humanity is buried deep or lost altogether. They are sealed inside a powerful metal called Voridium which creates their machine like appearance. The metal preserves and repairs the flesh underneath, even as it dies and decomposes. The vital organs such as heart and lungs are replaced by cybernetic implants. The stomach is removed completely in order to eliminate hunger and thirst. Limbs and muscles are replaced by cybernetic components. Finally, the brain is modified. All emotion is removed in order to remove 'weakness and distractions' such as love, hate, pride, fear arrogance and compassion. All that remains is a hard, cold logic and a single minded ambition. To save the rest of humanity by submitting them to this process. The brain is then 'upgraded' and connected to the other Cyverons through a communication chip, making contact with the others an easier process. Finally, the intelligence is increased so that all may serve the state in exactly the same way. The Cyveron surgeons that do this procedure take five minutes per person, as oppsed to the old human time of seven hours.
The man to create it was named Neptune (since humans were not allowed second names in this society.) Before hand, and for thosuands of years, Vespeterium Minor, Arborius and the United Republics (as they were known) were ruled by the Arborians, a race of arachnid type creatures. Humans were enslaved under this nation, and natrually, human resistance cells sprang up.
During the Vespeterium Civil War between the brothers Paulo and Reein, the humans supported Reein in a hope of gaining freedom. However, Reein went back on his word after his victory and continued to enslave mankind. He also launched an almost genocidal crusade against the Jedi Orders supporting these factions, and almost wiped out the human resistance in the process.
Neptune took this as a sign. The human instinct to trust had led them into this mess. And human emotions and weaknesses were distracting them from the fight at hand. The arborians were well known for being almost totally isolated from their emotions, and they had ruled the world. Humans had to do the same.
Seven years of tests followed, in which Neptune finally perfected his process. Small battalions of Cyverons battled in numerous alienCivil wars, being mistaken for mercenary robots. Neptune raided, and stole, and kidnapped until he finally had an army large enough for the Revolution......
And so it came full circle. The Arborians had gained control of the planet some 3000 years before by defeating the Vespeterium Ancients and wiping them out in the vicious Arborian Revolution. 3000 years later, and the same fate befell these former masters. The Cyber Revolution spread across the world and all humans were converted, albeit unwillingly. And the Arborians were wiped out. Now it is the age of the Cyverons and their quest to save every human in the Galaxy from the weakness that once afflicted them.....
