Sure but do you mind if you are in a seperate squad?
Each one consits of: Sniper, Medic, Comms, Heavy weaons...
Obviously they won't be armed with much but they should all have Kalashnikovs (preferably on older moldel like the 47 (http://world.guns.ru/assault/as01-e.htm) or even 74 (http://world.guns.ru/assault/as02-e.htm)). The Medic Really only has a somewhat fancy first aid kit...
Medium quality sniper rifle for the sniper...
Oldish radios for Comms
Heavy weapons is really only an RPG-7 (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/RPG-7) maybe an AT4 (http://www.fas.org/man/dod-101/sys/land/at4.htm)

Have you never heard of the Armalite? The AR-15 and AR-18 were the two rifles most widely used by the PIRA. That's what most cells will be found using.

Kalashnikovs..well they are mass produced and VERY cheap at that, one would assume it would be a common weapon..

If you're a sniper like you already mentioned then find a cheaper less sophisticated sniper rifle. (Sorry I can't think of any)

If you can't think of any than go with one of the cheaper ones that DMG sells. (Make sure they are NOT DMG originals)

Would it be fine if i had a H&K P3000 as a side arm, i will have my guy equiped with an AK-74 or a AR-15 for his main weapon....

It's common in eastern bloc countries. Armalites got imported into Ireland by the shipload during the Troubles.

I agree with you 100%. I love my Colt .45, as inaccurate as the bastard is.


But my personal love is the XM8 and the G-36. And the P30 is the P3000. Their one in the same!

I'm not a fan of the M-16, frankly I hate it, got alot of guys killed over the years, but I prefer it to the Steyr. The only ones who use that are the Austrians and the Australians right? The reason the XM8 is more expensive is because it uses a different kind of munition than normal weapons.

Especially the casings. And anyway, it's only real advantage is it's reduced weight. I'd rather lose the useless Kevlar, helmet, etc., than give up a reliable, battle-tested, accurate, and ergonomic rifle, which the M-16A2/A3/A4 is.

And, yeah, I'm Irish (I'm also half-German, but I don't like to consider myself that, because that's my father's blood. And I hate the fucker.)

Sorry to hear that about you're dad. I'm German on my moms side, and on my dads. My Grandmother is Scottish, and apparently somewhat Royal decent. I could be wrong, but something about our clan uniting the clans...and also supposedly we we're exiled by the British, though again, I could be wrong. It's a cool thing to think about though :D

Yeah, I happen to like the looks of the Steyr. The M4 is pretty nice, too.
But, in truth, my favorite battle rifles are classics like the M14, Garand, Tokarev SVT-40... They just look like the meanest weapons ever... :D

They were one of the largest parts of getting the IRA to disarm! And do they support the splinter groups? No. The IRA is over thanks partially to them.
