Official statement from the united planetary republics of the Federal Union,
The congress and the president of our grate nation has the displeasure of reporting that an alliance with the nation of unified sith has “ended” due to some circumstances that will not be reviled at this moment, this in light of other events has forces the congress of the federal union and the president to push for more defenses, as of this moment forward all federal borders are to be securities with heavy fortifications, civilian traffic and limited military traffic will be let through, Trade traffic with trusted allies will remain unrestricted as with civilian traffic.
It is the decision of the Party of the CoDominionum and the president of the federal union, that there is to be a massive expansion of military forces, and funding increase for defense by 15%, this will involve funding for nearly 2000 new war ships, training of over 2.5 million additional ground forces, this will also involve funding for extra research and dedicated strategic weapon ships. The United republics do not wish a confrontation with any nation, due to recent events and hostile events as well as a loss of an ally the United republics is now forced to take a militaristic view.
