My nation!
In the 1940's, the Germans and others invaded Yugoslavia. Milan Nedic, the German puppet ruler, during the final days of the war in Europe at least, declared independence. He joined forces with a man named Tito. However, Tito died, thanks to the Germans. Tito's forces were given to Nedic who began a Yugoslavian Order.
During the Post War time, Milan Nedic began to rebuild the Yugoslavian nation. He allowed the monarchy to live in Yugoslavia. Under Nedic, the economy began to boost and the military was built up. Yugoslavia may have leaned to Fascism more than Titoism which along with Tito passed on.
Nedic and Stalin as well as the Albanian, Hoxha had an ok relationship. Yugoslavia's merger with Greece may have unsettled the two. How did Yugoslavia and Greece merge?
One reason was the Greek Civil War. The Communists and others were fighting away. After some time (don't want to go through it at this moment), the Yugoslavians and Greeks were one state.
The capital was Belgrade, not Athens. The Yugoslavians and Greeks were now partners. During later periods of time, the Yugoslavians dealt with Enver Hoxha of Albania. They had ok relations, despite political differences.
Nedic passed on in 1970, leaving rule of the Federation to his successors who ruled quite well. However, one man faced controversy. Ivan Draskovic was a member of the Croatian Ustashe (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Ustashe).
Draskovic was not liked by some of the Serbs (who the Croation Ustashe despised). The Greeks were neutral because they did not have any issue with Croatians or Serbs.
A Serbian man assassinated Draskovic for ''revenge against the Ustashe for their crimes (example could be above)''. Draskovic was succeeded by Mr. Berisha, an Albanian who tried to settle any conflicts between Ustashe supporters and Serbian groups (if any did arise with none did really).
Mr. Berisha was called ''The Albanian'' by some people, he was well respected for his time in power, mourned by many when he passed.
His successor and more, later on......
Note-Some things here are pending for removal.
