Congress met with officials of the Department of Defense today to ratify a new document, one stating the Federations stance on Nuclear weapons. Seeing as the full version has a long, dogmatic opening on the ethics of nuclear weapons and war in general, the DoD will release a simplified version.
1) The Federation previous policy of "No First Use" is hereby dissolved.
2) Henceforth, Federal forces conduction offensive operations in Foreign nations will, at all times, be equipped with a minimum of 200 Neutron bombs, as well as a number of other tactical nuclear weapons to use at it's digression.
3) The Federation promises to use tactical nuclear devices from this day forward as it See's fit. Particularly, to deter any attack by invading forces.
4) Regarding the use of strategic nuclear weapons, the Federation has adopted a "Strike on Warning" policy, meaning we will launch a full-scale nuclear attack on an adversary of we think they are preparing to do the same.
5) Further more, we no longer recognize MAD. In any strategic arms exchange, our objective will be to cause as much damage against an adversary as possible, while sustaining bare-minimal damage our selves. Hundreds of ABM stations have been constructed to reflect this.
Please not, how ever, we are not trying to provoke anyone into a conflict. We are trying to avoid that, in fact. We simply wish to continue our existence, and we believe this policy will help us do that.
