My nation is a Futuristic Third Reich, in Space, etc.

After the Third Reich conquered the entire world, Berlin was named the Capital of the World Reich. From Berlin, the Nazi Party began a series of space programs. The Viking Programs were launched and Germans went on the moon, the Swastika flag still there.

After several years, the Germans soon settled the moon, calling it Germanium. It then went on Mars and soon began exploring space. Adolf Hitler was succeeded by Heinrich Himmler who gaved Adolf Eichmann command of the SS.

After Himmler, others ruled as Fuhrers of Earth and later of planets like Mars. The German SS is now futuristic, it can be seen in new uniforms in Germanium, Mars and other places.

The Germans organized their Galatic Reich in their own system. The planet Earth's capital was Berlin. Mars' capital was Hawksburg and the capital of the Moon was New Berlin. Other planets were held as well.

The Nazis still hold power, however, the current ruler, Fuhrer Joseph Walker (an Englishman) considers leaning the party to Fascism or something.

The United Nations is now a place where all the peoples of the World Reich can meet.

Basically, participate in FT (Future Tech) threads. Or start your own! But before you start declaring war, make sure your population can support you ok?

Awesome post, awesome idea, my nation is future tech also and I had one before that I though was at least half decent. There's probably a few stickies concerning future tech, and I could answer some questions if you have any I suppose.

diplomacy is done through messages, i.e

for example. THough, you're expected to be abit more diplomatic in your use of grammar in character.


also, you can join Alliance Organizations, such as an example being the GASN (Global Alliance of Sovereign Nations) Which PeoplesFreedom and I are a part of. But it is a MT and PMT (Modern Tech and Post Modern Tech) Alliance.

OCC: I love Ft, but I find the techs far too varied. like SW, ST, BG,W40k, etc.

you don't have to use a set tech. you can have your own or mix and match. for instanse i use a combanation of star gate, star wars, and zoids.

yep. unfortunatly it isn't in full production yet and only about 20,000 have been deplyoed to the troops. of course the first to get them are the 1st Imperial Guard Division.

My other FT nation was mostly just stuff I came up with, though it was inspired partly by babylon five. I don't like using star wars or star trek tech for varying reasons, but my new nation is battlestar galactica tech (yay for normal guns)

OOC: *Shrugs* If you're looking for a techbase, allow me to recommend that you design your own. It is much more satisfying, and it also partially forestalls OOC debates about who's techbase would beat who's, at least in theory.

In your particular case, you can probably get some good ideas for tech by looking at some of the particularly far-out concepts for weapons and machines which the Third Reich came up with. A lack of regard for non-aryan life would, for instance, probably equate into utilizing cyborged/mind wiped 'inferior' species as cannon fodder while your elite drop (para) trooper units land behind enemy lines and run amok.

Given historical German innovations in rockety, I imagine that your military would make heavy use of missiles. Perhaps even minimissiles as bullets, as I do.

As for diplomacy... It usually goes like so:

One party contacts the other, and they discuss things. For more 'general' diplomacy, like saying 'Hey, We're here! Want to meet us?', sending a message into space is usually a good way to do so. You'll typically get someone who responds, and they'll typically deploy an ambassador to land in your nation. This is a time to cement ties, build trade agreements, and the like.
