IC: Niccolo sat patiently at his desk in his green robes. A man who had been caught trying to murder him was outside, ready to be beheaded. Niccolo raised his hand as a signal to the headsman out the window, and brought it down in a chopping fashion. An intsant later, he heard a thud as a reply, and cheering from the crowd.
Niccolo was a young man of 27, prince of the Parkus principality. He gained the throne two years ago, when his brother was assassinated. Ever since then he ruled without mercy to anyone who was not a good citizen, once having a man totured to death for spying. Death was not in the original intention, simply aquisition of information was, and the man wouldn't talk, untill he died. Prince Niccolo l'aguste joined the military at the age of 16, and thus had significant experiance in the matter. He now had 600 men at his disposal, and 50 of them were cavalry.
A year ago, he expanded his territory in a war over a silk shipment, and executed his oppenet, his 3 brothers, and his father. He also immediately crushed any resistance, and took-up residence in his new aquisition. Some political extremist tried to kill him today...well this should teach them.
He retired from writing, and went downstairs. He kissed his wife and two sons, and went to bed.
