Today, His Execellency, Supreme Potentate Nicolae Samar, and his Reverand of Samarism have called for a convention of all the sub-potentates or the ten regions. Here is the latest from His Execellency.

"My people, I come to you with great news. We have passed a law requireing all citizens, Rich or poor, big and small, male and female, everybody, must recive a mark of loyalty on thier forehead or right hand. You can not buy or sell without it. The number that the loyalty mark administraters will correspond to your home region. My little children, you must worship me three times a day. Failure to do so and you will be beheaded on the loyalty enforcement facilitaters. But do not worry my people. I love you all and do not wish to harm you. I am a just god but I must punish those who do not take the mark and pay their respects to their god and potentate."

What a speech from the Potentate. People all around are rushing to get their marks applied to them in front of His Execellency.

As a nation that very highly values both political and civil rights, the Capitalist Republic of Borislav is deeply disturbed at this news of "loyalty marks" and worshipping an emperor three times a day that is coming from Demanci. Normally we try to open trade with new countries and exchange embassies, something that we would have liked to do with your nation, but seeing this gross violation of human rights we are forced to withdraw all contact from your nation and will urge other nations to do the same. We request that in the name of your people that you claim to "love" you open up your country to the democratic processes. Continuing this way will only cause pain and anguish for your nation and make your people discontent.

OOC: Forcing people to get "loyalty marks" to ensure that they worship the emperor, is not something my nation looks favorably upon.

Let me explain, My nation is enacting revelations. Yes, that mark is the mark of the beast. Yes Nicolae Samar has a false prophet. But lets RP this.

"Is the raid on the holdout ready to go yet?" Said Commander Gregory

"We are moving inot position as we speak."

"Good."

The mass of about 20 Demanci troops were sweeping the area near the holdout to see if there were any guards. There wasen't any. THe troops inched to the doors of the stronghold, and when they got to the door, the battered it open. The swarmed in the building killing 20 unmarked citizens. The youngest was a newborn baby, were the troops threw it under a tire of their truck and ran it over.

"Why? Why?" A survivor said.

A"His Exellency gave us to use extreme force and do whatever we want so shut up woman."

The troop shot her in the head.

"Has Kravania got my message yet?" Nicolae asked

"We don't know sir." A Cabnit member said.

President Leonhard Wendel's office

"This Demancian Emperor is really starting to worry me. Now he has outlawed all religions except for his worshippers, punishable by death. This is a major human rights violation. People without loyalty marks are being killed. Obviously we need to do something, what are our options?" asked the President.

"We could mobilize our forces and invade them. Our economy is stronger and our population is twice as large as theirs so we could probably beat them," replied the Defense Minister.

"I don't want to declare all out war just yet, surely there's some rebel groups we can support."

The Foreign Minister spoke up, saying, "Well, there is this group the Union of the Believers in Christ (UBC) that is pretty popular. Also I'm sure there are some secular atheists we could support."

"Then that's what we'll do. Contact some of the major arms manufacturing companies and tell them that we have a new market for them. We can use the companies to sell weapons to the rebels. If the Demancians ask us to stop, we'll tell them that it is our companies not us, who we're not responsible for."

Nicolae was standing and memorizing his speech for a convention today, celebrating the peace he had brung to his beloved people. He steped up to the podium, and there was a sea of endless people cheering.

"My loyal subjects, how honored I am to be here. Or as they say in ancient Demancian, Yiu ali hu si euid. I have come to tell you this, the people who still haven't took my mark will be giving another chance. After this, zero tolerance. But my friends, you should not worry, as I protect the people with my mark. You all are dear to me, and I will not let anything happen to you."

Five seconds later, all with the mark of loyalty developed painful blisters and sores.

"What is going on?" one cried out.

People were in agony, falling to the floor in pain.

Nicolae turned to his Reverand of Samarism and said,

"Tell me, what is going on?"

"I don't know, Your Worship. Some curse has befell our people."

Nicolae was enraged, he demanded to know what was going on.

The leader was groveling and kissing his feet.

While Tiagj was speaking Nicolae pulled out a gun and shot him between the eyes.

"Now people, we will turn up the heat on the christians and jews."

"But sir we are all incapacitaded by these boils!" a leader said.

"Don't make me kill you too. I don't care if you people suffer so much. Why don't I have the boils? Hmmm?"

"Well anyways, I want all Demancian troops to sweep the countryside looking for unmarked citizens. Yes, I told them they have one more chance, but execute them anyway."

No Taxes is a largely atheist nation, so will you explain to us why you cannot take any action against the Emperor until the last day of his seventh year of rule? Satellite Monitoring Station, No Taxes Military Base

Yuri Mikhailo, was sitting at his desk monitoring what the satellite currently over Demanci was showing, when he saw a massive heat burst on the infared. At first he thought it was some kind of missile test, but then looking on the map he realized that was right where a city of over 700,000 people had lived. A second later a photograph of the city came back. At first he didn't see anything because of a large cloud hovering over the city. Though, the cloud did have a familiar shape. That was when the it all came together and the blood drained from his face. That was a mushroom cloud. They nuked their own city of almost a million people, Jesus Christ, these are lunatics, he thought. Word was instantly passed along to higher levels, until the news reached the President.

Very Secret Emergency Cabinet Meeting, President's Office

"This emperor is completely insane," said the Defense Minister, "We need to take out all military bases and nuclear weapons immediately, with a pre-emptive strike. If we don't maybe they'll nuke one of our cities next."

But the President had already decided what to do. After talking with General Wagner, head of Special Ops, he had decided to send in an elite squad of Kommandos to assasinate the emperor. Once they found a map of Demanci, they would decide whether or not to send them in by water or air. 2 carriers would also be stationed nearby in international waters.

There were 100 political prisoners gathered in the prison courtyard. They were going to make a choice, either take Nicolae Samar's mark, or be beheaded. 95 of them took the mark. 5 of them were martyerd religous insurgents.

"Captain Girdosky." Nicolae said trough a cell phone, when he was watching it on tv. As the only legal channel is the public execution channel.

"Yes Your Worship?" Capt. Girodosky said.

"Kill them all."

"Your wish is my command sir."

The prison gaurds lined the prisoners up and began to aim the new 216-Mass Sub Machine guns at the prisoners.

"Stop!" A commander yelled.

"Why?" THe executioners said.

"Potentate Samar wants them to suffer, he wants all of you to torture them near death, then kill them."

"I want a force of 150,000 assembled and another 100,000 from the reserves to make their way to staging area for the extermination of the island south of Demanci, called Riigul. The inhabitants should equal to about 4,000,000. KILL THEM ALL. No wait. Lets nuke them with our new mini-nuke. I love those. Full scale destruction, and little radiation. See, I am not of afraid of wasteing my own country if anyone gets in the way. Also, how many people have we killed in the jails?"

OOC: The Demancian Rebels are the good guys, and the Enemy is Nicolae Samar's Peacekeeping army


An attack force of 1,700 rebels were in a secret area 7 miles from Kazani. They are massively outnumbered by the garrison at Kazani, which numbered to about 15,000 peacekeepers, and 50,000 Demanci Army troops just outside the city. The Rebels knew this would be a risky move, but with the munitions they bought from the No Taxes arms companys. General Damon was reviewing the troops, and about half an hour after he was done, He ordered his troops to ready the Heavy Artillary he stole from the 50,000 troop Demanci Peacekeeper Army, headed by Field Marshal Johnson. General Damon's Battalion would be small enough to wage guerilla warfare. The Algi Platoon of rebels would be here to reinforce the battilion, as the platoon was 40 troops. Gen. Damon hurried his commanders into his tent and had a war meeting with them.

"Okay my friends, we need to take this city." Gen. Damon said, while pointing to a map of the City of Kazani. "With as little frustration as we can."

A commander raised his hand.

"Yes Commander Briggs?" Gen. Damon asked.

"How many troops are there defending the city?" Comm. Briggs asked.

"65,000 troops, I don't know if they have any heavy armor there." Gen. Damon said.

He pointed at various places in the outskirts and suburbs of Kazani and said,

"We need to take these areas and set our artillary up, and we can barrage the city." Gen. Damon said.

"What about the people, Sir?" Commander Smith asked.

"It's too late for them, they have the mark of the beast, and they worship him. So they are going to die anyways. I'm saddend by this, but alas, it has to be done. In the meantime when we start the invasion, we need to contact
Bekaera and No Taxes and ask them to help and send reinforcements. Maybe some other nations will help. We need to make this transmission avaliable to the world stage. We start the attack at 0800 hours people. I advise you all to get yourselves ready, and Godspeed, and God bless you all. Dismissed."

The Commanders walked outside and went to their assigned platoons, they announced the news.

3 Miles Outside of the City of Kazani - 0800 Hours


1,700 troops began rushing the city in the suburbs, and the fighting ensued. Five minutes later, there were the screams of mortar shells coming down on the Demancian Rebels.

"Go Go GO! Get to shelter!" A soldier cried out.

10 soldiers rushed down the street, with explosions going off everywere. They saw a platoon of 40 enemy troops up ahead, and they were coming this way. 1 rebel ran back to the soldiers back at the suburbs and yelled,

"Defensive positions! Now! Spotted 40 soldiers half a mile up the street, one tank also!"

The soldiers dug in and set up machine guns in differnt places in the wreckege. As soon as the enemy troops neared them they opened fire. The enemy troops took cover and returned the fire. After about 3 miniutes the tank rolled down the street, firing its turret gun at a machine gun emplacement, killing about 3 rebels. The rebels quickly loaded a Anti-Tank missle and destroyed the tank. the 34 that were dug in jumped up and charged the remaining enemy platoon, which equaled to about 21 troops left. Hand to hand fighting ensued, and the enemy troops were quickly defeated. 5 survived and called for another morter attack and reinforcements. About 20 miniutes later mortars pounded the Rebel Demanci and reduced their ranks to 40 out of the 60 in that area. The enemy reinforcements totaled to about 300
and they were ready to stomp the rebels. The Demancian Rebels dug in and called for reinforcements and hoped for the best...

The Carrier DRS Unabhängigkeit

Anton was a low ranking private on board the Carrier DRS Unabhängigkeit, looking for any incoming radio signals. Then he heard the call for reinforcements coming from Demancian Rebels. He quickly told the Captain about it, who gave the order. No Taxes would soon be at war. 4 squadrons of F-35 Aircraft would fly in low and fast towards Kazani to give the Rebels air support. Once at the target, they would strafe and then release napalm on the troops closer to the city center, where the rebels had radioed them to be. Any tanks spotted would be attacked with air-to-ground missiles. The fighters were also equipped with air-to-air missiles in case any enemy aircraft were encountered.

Meanwhile, on the eastern side of the island, 50 Special Ops soldiers were being dropped off by an ultra-quiet nuclear submarine. They had orders to move only by night, until they reached the capital where they would try to kill the mad emperor.

The troops who were dug in heard the screaming jets above them, and as the planes droped their payloads on the Peacekeeper Army, The Rebels rallied and charged through the streets and took just about entered the city. At about this time the 65,000 Peacekeepers were alerted and mobilized agenst No Taxes and the Rebels. THe Demancian Rebels contacted No Taxes for them to make the first move...

Meanwhile, About 75 miles from Kazani

There were rebels who spotted a nuke facing Kazani. They quickly raided it and contacted their allies.

Secret Encrypted Message to the Demancian Rebels,

We are now officially at war with Demanci and thus will provide you with as much support as possible. Currently we have two carriers with escorts stationed in international waters off the coast, though they will soon be moving in closer. So for now all we can provide is air support, until we bring more forces in, though rest assured we have a plan for dealing with the Emperor.

Special Demancian Meeting in the President's Office

The meeting was in an uproar ever since the news had come in of Demanci nuking an island killing millions of people. Finally the President was able to get quiet in his office.

"Now realistically what are our immediate options?"

The Defense Minister replied first, "Well, we could hit Demanci City with a ICBM, but I know you don't want to use nuclear weapons. So are other military options are to continue the way we are with 2 carriers and Special OPs, though this clearly isn't enough. That's why I think we should send another Naval Task Force of 2 carriers down there to provide even more air support. We could also drop some paratroopers in, to reinforce the rebels. If you really wanted to get serious we could do an amphibious landing, but logistics would be a nightmare so I wouldn't recommend that."

The President responded,"Let's definitely send in another Naval Task Force, hoping that we don't get involved in another war, since this takes up a lot of our naval capability. Also what about dropping a Brigade(2500) of Paratroopers in to reinforce the Rebels. Surely such a small number wouldn't be to hard to drop in and supply."

"Yeah that wouldn't be too bad, I'll make sure one of the 2 new carriers going down there has the paratroopers."

A group of 20 Muslim Rebels massed in their makeshift mosque.They were about to go to war with Nicolae Samar. They would send out a call to all the Muslims in Demanci, whice equaled to about 900. They would then raid and destroy all the small military and towns. They gathered all their weapons and headed for war. The leader, Ali Zamig, sent a call to the Demancian Rebels and No Taxes that help is on the way.

In A Safehouse Near Demanci City - 0100 Hours

The Atheist Group, Militia of Demanci (MD) has sent a call for all to hear were they announced that they, numbering 1,000 would join the fight for freedom.

Encrypted message to No Taxes and Demanci Rebels:

The Council of Ten just convened on this matter and has decided to become involved in this matter.

The Siapian Intelligence Network will be dispatching operatives to help train and supply the rebels, while we are preparing Operational Detatchment Beta and Gamma (Equivalent of US Delta Force/CIA SOG). These divisions will be sent to infiltrate and assasinate the leader and his chain of command.

When Gen. Damon Heard the news of the nuke he was in a frenzy. He ordered the 1,700 troops attacking Kazani to raze the city to the ground. The Division set up artillary batteries and shelled the city nonstop for an hour. As they were doing this the 65,000 Nicolae Peacekeeper Army was returning fire. After 6 minites 800 Rebels broke through a point in the Peacekeeper's defensive line. With all the air support above, the tanks that the Peacekeepers had were useless. 5,000 troops counter attacked, And when they spotted the Rebels they charged the force of 800. By then, about 4,000 Rebels came out of hiding within the city and hand-to-hand fighting ensued in the whole city. Napalm was throw all over the place causing tremedous damage. And the Peacekeepers Moral were shaken severly.

Claudius Griffincrest looked at the report. His new ally, No Taxes, had gotte into a tussle, and as a fellow CA member, he had to get involved. He ordered 2500 men, and 250 Mercury's, to be paradropped onto Demanci territory. In a few minutes, the men were boarding planes bound for enemy territoy

"The Carrier Eyrenstrong is moving toward the island. On board is Beta and Gamma, as well as Specialist Kent and his team. It is accompanied by the frigates Sunfish and Wolflover, as well as the ususal support subs and PT boats." General Addison stood stiffly before the Council of Ten.

"Thank you general."

"What is the situation like there, director?"

The Director of the Siapian Intelligence Network held a cigarrette in his index and middle finger. "Situation is interesting. No Taxes put paratroops on the ground. Specialist Kent and his men are moving via helicopters under radar to meet and create a supply chain with the rebels. Beta and Gamma are about to be dropped behind the lines."

Alex Connor, speaker of the Council, leaned forward, the Council had decided that more drastic action needs to be undertaken. I want you to move in two PTM (Patrol-Torpedo-Missile) groups. Also, plan an amphibeous assault. General, we need to put our own men on the ground. End this war fast. Those are your orders."


The Patrol-Torpedo-Missile boats took to the seas. The ships themselves were no larger than a luxury yacht, but were laden with torpedos, sonar buoys, water mines, modified exocet missiles, 30mm cannons, A/A missiles a hellish assortment of water-to-surface missiles and rockets and two tomahawk cruise missiles. Their maneuverability and heavy firepower was created at the expense of serious armor. Rumor has it that orphans and those with a history of suicide are more likely than others to be placed on these ships.

While independently weak, the collection of the two divisions was over seventy ships, along with a dozen support submarines and frigates moving as quickly as they could toward the island. They were accompanied by several troop transport ships, with a combined total
of 20,000 soldiers to take part in the initial landing and more on the way.

The Carrier Eyrenstrong was in a perpetual state of servicing helicopters. Community Type-11 Sea Helicopters flew from the carrier to a radius about five miles from the mouth of every river (save the easternmost), dropping mines along every area that was deep enough for a ship to traverse. Blackhawk and chinook helicopters flew as low as they possibly could on the water and land as they approached the rebel and No Taxian forces. On board was Specialist Kent and fifty of his "advisors" as well as plenty of weapons and supplies for the paratroops and rebels.

On the carrier, The Beta and Gamma commanders faced their men. "Gentlemen, the Community has decided that we will be invading this island. We will be needed to pave the way so none of the regulars get hurt coming in. Beta will be on the easternmost river, approaching via Zodiac boat. Your objective is to disable the artillery along that river. Gamma, you are to move inward and find an airport longer than 900m and clear it. If we can hold onto an airport near the capitol, we can move in men and armor into the belly of the beast. If we can pull this off, this war will be over faster than it started. We're hitting the beaches at nightfall. Move out!"

Coded Message To No Taxes, Blackhelm Confederacy and Demanci Resistance: Artillery along the coast is too dangerous for our ships to get close. If this can be eliminated, our frigates will be able to provide artillery support along the southern coast. Our Special Operations groups are moving to secure an airport, preferably near Haden, Herzani or Demanci City if possible. Maria was strikingly beautiful. Liquid eyes, lucious lips, the works. She was also incredibly deadly, despite the apparent disregard she payed to the pistol on which her left hand rested.

Her right hand was currently being held by the tatoo artist, who was finishing placing the mark on. "There," he said, "I don't know what kind of technology they're using to put this on their own people, so it probably won't pass any type of serious inspection, but it should be enough for her not to draw attention to herself. John chuckled, absently rubbing his right hand, which also bore the mark. "She's not going to draw attention? Julio, have you ever actually had a girlfriend?" John, on the other hand, was incredibly nondescript. He would easily blend into any crowd, and it was unlikely anyone would remember him more than a few hours after meeting him.

Julio rolled his eyes. "Well, you won't attract any attention, in any case."

John Smith grinned. "That's my job. Now, what goodies have you got for us this time?"

Mark stepped through the door and set down two cases. "Suitcase nukes. Get them within a mile or so of the palace, and then get the hell out of there. One hour countdown, so once you place it, get to the extraction point. We'll arm you once research lets us know gun laws in Demanci. In the meantime, the usual gear." He took a bag off his back and emptied it onto the table. Such things fell out as two cases of dental floss, several packs of gum, and two small containers of skin lotion.

John and Maria smiled, and each took one of each.

We are still waiting for intel on airfields from the resistance, however, once the airfield is secure, it will be open to all those partaking in this invasion. As soon as the artillery is clear, any party requiring artillery support should send the coordinated to the Sunfish or Wolflover, which are currently patrolling the southern coast.

10 miles off the Coast of Demanci

Lieutenant Anton was surprised at how little resistance he had had in the air so far. He had not seen a single enemy fighter yet, so he didn't expect much trouble on this mission to destroy some artillery. Close to the target he slowed down a little and released his bombs, which were right on target. Another easy mission, he thought, he was enjoying this.

The Griffincrest cargo planes were now over Demanci territory. Hundreds or parachutes opened up in the night sky, as the Griffincrest Intervention team drifted towards the ground. As the men began to land, the Mercury's began being tossed out of the planes, parachutes opening, and they too, fell calmly to the ground.

As a fellow CA member I feel it is my duty to assist, please instruct us on the situation so we may better aid your forces in disposing of this foolish madman in power.

Under the cover of nightfall, the two special operations teams landed on the eastern north of the river mouth. The two teams split, one going south to the artillery and one continuing west to search for a suitable airport.

Beta team encircled the first artillery base. The snipers would clear any guards while the rest of the team would lay down C4 on the guns. If the situation became messy, they would simply lay down a beacon and let a cruise missile hit the base.


Meanwhile, the PTM boats approached the eastern shore and began firing their cruise missile payload inland, targeting power stations, bridges and communication facilities.

Fighters from the carrier Eyrenstrong flew inland dropping leaflets over the cities telling people to move away from the cities and surrender to the resistance forces.

The troop ships had Led Zeppelin’s “Immigrant Song” blaring across the deck as the men climbed into the Ducks and Higgins boats. All the men would partake in securing the mouth of the river, but ten thousand would remain behind to secure a beachhead, while the other ten thousand would proceed up river.

In Siap, more troops were being prepared. More troop ships carrying over fifty thousand troops had departed, and a regiment of paratroops were being readied. Aircraft and mech infantry was also readied to be loaded onto aircraft for when an airfield was secured.

Sunfish and Wolflover were joined by Morrison and Archangel in their patrol of the southern coast, waiting for an artillery request.

Nicolae Samar was pacing his office. When he heard about the attack on Kazani, he was furious. He called for an immediate meeting for all his Military Leaders. 30 Miniutes later, they were all setting at a oval table. Nicolae stood up and started to breif his subjects.

"I am dissapointed in all of you. I heard of the battle in Kazani. I want 90,000 of our... No wait. I want 75% of the whole Demanci Peacekeeper Army headed to that city. NOW! As you may know the 75% equals to about erm, 100,000. I will leave the other 50,000 hear. And I hear most are going AWOL. Well to counter it. Shoot them on site. And draft the whole population able to hold a gun into the military. I don't give a rat's ass about what they think. You actually think I care about the people? Well, nevermind that. 100 Million Troops is too much for this country. We might as well keep our army down to 150,000."

Nicolae turned around and took out a handgun, and shot all the generals except for 5 in the head.

The 1,700 Rebels who were fighting in the city pushed forward and encountered machine gunners dug in the road ahead. The Rebel artilliary was shelling the city to smithereens and most of the city was leveled.

The brigade (2500) of paratroopers dropped in near Kazani has met up with the rebel forces assaulting the city. They will help in the attack and will be able to call for air support easier.

The frigates Sunfish and Archangel were patrolling the waters offshore of Kazani. Upon touchdown of all the paratroops, Specialist Kesson's helicopters flew in low under the radar with supplies for the recently landed paratroops and additional weapons and supplies for the rebels. In addition to the supplies, Kesson had his personal unit--50 special ops agents, trained for all sorts of combat duty.

Encrypted message to Demanci Resistance and invading parties

We have sent a unit to supply the paratroops that just touched down in Kazani, as well as 50 special operations soldiers to assist in the taking of the city. Can you please supply us with intel on any airstrip we could take near Demanci City or any part of the North East of the nation. If you can provide this, we will be able to bring in more troops, armor and we will be able to expand our air coverage.

The frigate Lombard and the frigate Conchobhar constantly fired their 16" guns into the coast along the mouth of the eastern river. PTM boats fired their payload inland as the amphibeous assault boats proceeded into the mouth of the river. The first wave (10,000 soldiers) secured the mouth, quickly setting up a beachead and erecting quick fortifications. The wave (10,000 soldiers) proceeded up the river in gun boats and amphibeous assault vehicles, with the orders to clear all hostiles and create a safe path to Demanci City. The third wave of 50,000 soldiers was already prepared, and would be advancing up the river to the city in a matter of days.

(OOC: Demanci, I am assuming the light gray lines on the map are the major highways. Inform me if I am incorrect about this or any other assumptions I make)

The PTM boats, acompanied by standard PT boats, cleared the water mines they had placed earlier and advanced up the rivers east of Kazani, using their cruise missile payload to destroy the bridges across the rivers, and bombarded any Demanci military unit within range. The PTM boats returned to the ocean while the PT boats set up patrol along the river, ready to engage hostiles or report the coordinates to the frigates or the Siapian air support. Meanwhile, north of the river, Siapian aircraft flew over the narrow strip of land between the river and the ocean, intermitantly dropping clusters of land mines that would burst and scatter the mines in a multiple mile radius. The space was not perfectly covered, but it would be enough of a significant threat. It would be difficult for the for the Demanci military deployed in Kazani to get back to Demanci city over land.

If you wish to insert ground forces, The Community has secured a beachead on the mouth of the eastern most river. We also have reopened the two rivers east of Kazani, however all other rivers are still mined, as is the land north of the river that passes the mountains. Our intelligence indicates that a large Demanci force is moving towards Kazani, but we have eliminated several bridges and mined the stretch of land north of the river, so this force will not be able to regroup with the rest of the Demanci military. If any of the invading parties wishes to land forces in the vicinity of these rivers, or in the area around Demanci, the Siapian Navy will be able to provide support.

The Demancian Rebels were happy at the news of reinforcements. The 1,700 fighters encountered rebels who came out of hiding, and the ranks swelled to 3,000. 40,000 Peacekeepers were still in the city. They headed to the airport east in the city, to meet the oncoming reinforcements. THey would then continue to push into Kazani.

You are advised to remove all troops from the capital. We are inserting agents to remove the leader, and things may get hairy.

The stealth plane hadn't been easy to steal. Especially considering the right wingers who developed it had upgraded their technology to detect it. So instead of flying it out, it had been disassembled and carried out on horseback. One of John's finer moments. Now he and Maria leapt out of the plane as it flew near Demanci City, each carrying their gear. When he was about ten feet off the ground, John released the parachute, which slowed him enough to prevent him from breaking his legs when he hit the ground. He fell, released the parachute as he rolled, and was back on his feet about the same time Maria touched down with catlike grace.

They split up then, Maria going directly west towards the city, while John headed south, so they wouldn't be linked by arriving from the same direction or at the same time.

The ten thousand soldiers en route to Demanci City were immediately ordered to bypass the city and engage military installations in the surrounding countryside. The fifty thousand soldiers proceeding up the river were ordered to do the same, and to establish control over major highways and railroads, so supplies could be denied to the Demanci military, but provided to the resistance and the invaders.

After resistance was dealt with in the area surrounding Demanci City, the Siapians would set out searching for nuclear weapons and other WMDs, as well as any other weaponry deemed a "serious hazard" by the Council of Ten.


Specialist Kesson and his team touched down at the captured airport and began unloading supplies for the rebels and the No Taxian paratroops. "It is our understanding that there are at least forty grand of the peacepricks still holed up in the city..." He addressed what he understood to be the local leaders of the resistance "I'm supposed to inform y'all that the frigate Morrison is going to join in on the shelling and if you can give them a good location of enemy concentrations, they'll deep six 'em with extreme prejudice. If that don't work, then we'll just flatten the city. But I am supposed to direct your attention to the fact that one hundred thousand of the peacepricks are coming this way to reinforce the units already in the city. I suggest that we work to immediately garrison this airport, and hold out this seige. If we can hold this for forty eight hours, we will have a eight AC-130 Spectre Gunships, and possibly a hell of a lot more men. Also, the Siapian Navy did us the favor of closing the overland routes back to the capitol, so they will get no supplies or reinforcements from there. Now, I recommend you unpack these .50 cals and field artillery while my boys sneak around back and pick off their command. G'luck and stay in touch." The Specialists got back into the helicopters after they were unloaded and moved towards where the Demanci military was sighted. The men disembarked about twenty miles from the advancing army and took sniper positions, ready to shoot anyone who had stripes or was saluted.

35 miles to Kazani. The army of 100,000 was geared for war. They continued untill dark, and made camp just outside of Kazani. They could see the fighting going on. A platoon of 30 soldiers walked over to the side of the road to scout. They were talking to each other.

"Yo Bob." One said.

"Yeah?"

"I think this war is pointless. Our leader is a dumbass."

"Amen to that brotha. He has my 14 year old son planting explosive devices in Kazani. And I think they are small breifcase nuke. Lest I hope they arent."

OOC: THese guys were near your guys Siap.

They walked back to cam, and saw that most of the men were in an angry mob. They were cursing the Potentate, and at least 65,000 left the military AWOL. They wanted to join the rebels in the fight agenst the potentate. The other half decided to press on to Kazani.

Nicolae was standing on his balcony. He was waving to his supporters. He started a speech.

"My people. I will leave you today, to go to the front lines at Kazani. I will grant my second in charg..."

A gunshot sounded in the crowd. And Nicolae droped dead. His second in command rushed to him.

"Uhh... Ow... Johnson... Tell... the people... I will return... *Coughs* in three days..."

He died.

John walked like a man with an urgent need to get somewhere. Not making eye contact with any other pedestrians, he headed in the general direction of the palace, though never walking straight towards it.

His trenchcoat was undone, allowing occasional glimpes of the gun he carried. He hoped that that would be enough to discourage any would-be looters, but in a place that made most of Kologk look sane, who knew?

Judging by his rough estimates, he was probably in range of the palace now. He turned into a back allyway and opened the briefcase. He pressed a few buttons on it, and then dumped it in a dumpster and covered it up with some trash. Then he pressed a button on his watch, which instantly began counting down from one hour.

Maria glanced at her watch. John had set the bomb, then. She abrubtly turned around and started walking away. She needed to get out of the city before the bomb went off. Even if the explosion itself only had about a mile and a half radius, she didn't want to be anywhere near that fallout. She had been given the location of the Siapian landing zone, and started out for it.

"This is Corporal Kent. We have a situation on our hands."

The Demanci scout team passed through the small wooded patch on the side of the road. Behind them, what seemed to bark on a tree opened its eyes. A voice spoke from the earbud in Kent's right ear. "What is the manner of the situation?"

"Nuclear weapons are being placed in Kazani."

"They're on our side. We've cleared all our boys out of their."

"No. Kazani is going to blow. Kazani!" He swore under his breath. "The Demanci are placing briefcase nukes in that city."

"Shit. We'll have to take care of that. First things first, though. I want you to give me coordinates on this enemy force. Intel says that sixty five grand have already deserted. Let's see if we can take out the rest. Kent, Stuart, Smith and Green, give me coordinates on the enemy troops."
Kent climbed up the tree and peared through the scope of his rifle. "I've got bogeys at..."

several minutes later
"Air command, we have enemies in open. Proceed bombing at the following vectors..." Within half an hour the mass of troops advancing towards Kazani was met with napalm and white phosphorus.

Kesson's team quickly returned to Kazani to evacuate the rebels and whatever civilians they could find. In twelve hours, the three frigates in range of the city would deliver an artillery barrage so devastating that the city would be flattened, and hopefully the forces planting the nukes along with it.


10 miles from Demanci city

The army chaplain looked gravely at Demanci City. His face was like marble, with deep grooves down his face, but his eyes were watery. He spoke gravely "Now I am become death, destroyer of worlds..."

"Hey padre! Put down the Baghava Gita and put sunscreen on my back!" The Super 74 Chinook crew sent to pick up the Kologkian agents all were laying on the knoll facing the city, stripped down to their boxers, with mirrored sunglasses covering their eyes.

"You guys are real assholes. How can you have such disrespect for human life?"

The smiling, sweaty soldier who made the request wrapped his arm around the chaplain. "Imperious Ceaser, dead and turned to clay, might patch a hole to keep the wind away...for the man who held the world in awe shall now patch a hole to expel winter's flaw.* Besides, this is the best tan you'll ever get! Mr. Sun up there only gives us UV rays to worry about, but this single blast will release all kinds of beta and gamma radiation, X and cosmic rays, neutrinos and positrons to bronze your epidermis." The chaplain looked ready to kill himself. The soldier with his arm around him pulled out a small bottle. "Iodine pills, padre?"

The Community will be removing all but twenty thousand of its soldiers, and a small naval support group. The soldiers shall remain for three years to oversee the destruction of Demanci nuclear weapons, prison system, etc. as well as to coordinate and oversee the reconstruction of the Demanci government that is both friendly to The Community and to its own citizens.

Here are our terms for the acceptance of your surrender:

-All nuclear weapons be dismantled under the supervision of Siapian forces. None shall be produced or purchased or owned by the Demanci until five years after all dues are met

-All nuclear reactors be retrofitted to use unenriched fuel (This will be paid for by Siap), or be surrendered to the control of the Siapian military.

-All chemical and biological weapons be destroyed under Siapian supervision. None shall be produced, received or posessed by the Demanci until ten years after all dues to Siap are met.

-All facilities capable of producing biological and chemical weapons be modified so as not to be able to produce such weapons, or be placed under Siapian authority for the duration of the occupation.

-Demanci shall dismantle or scuttle any aircraft carriers, battleships, nuclear submarines, or submarines capable of carrying missiles.

-Demanci will destroy all surface-to-surface, surface-to-sea, sea-to-surface air-to-surface, and air-to-sea missiles with a range greater than 200 km. Demanci will not purchase, receive or posess any of these missiles unti five

-Total amount of Demanci military personnel be no more that 1% of entire population from now until ten years after all dues to Siap are met.

-A force of 20,000 Siapian soldiers, along with 17 ships and a suitable amount of aircraft will be maintained in Demanci for three years to assist in the reconstruction of the government and enforcement of these terms.

-The new Demanci government must open its borders to unrestricted trade with Siap. Upon opening of the trade borders, The Community will reciprocate by opening its borders to trade as well.

-After the Siapian occupation force leaves, the Demanci government must pay reparations of $10 trillion in a span of five years. This money may not be taken from the healthcare, social welfare or commerce budget.

-Any violation of these terms or act of aggression after the acceptance of these terms could potentially be considered an act of war.

These terms are non-negotiable. We hope that we may have a better relationship in the future.

Chemoautotrophic bacteria that counsumes radioactive metals will be released into nearby water supplies, which will consume radioactive particles and precipitate into easily collected foam on the surface. This will make the local water supplies usable in a matter of months, however we advise that civilians be not allowed back into the city for the duration of our occupation, and that the return be done so cautiously.
