Press Briefing Room - 0402 Imperial Time
Emperor Darth Matter stood proudly on the podium . Clearing his throat to signal the start of the briefing to members of every press company on Mationbuds , some foreign owned , some state-owned .
"Ladies and Gentlemen of the Press Community . Today you stand before me as we unveil a plan to activate a Iron Curtain around us . For several months , the Army and the Navy have been secretly moving assets around and are now in place , ready to begin when I give the execution order . From this day on , the entire Solar Systems we control will be linked to one another , allowing immediate and hassle-free travel between planets and star systems . However there will be Interdiction Droids , Cruisers and Pickets deployed randomly around Imperial Space and will only open certain lanes to light travel . There would be 4 hyperspace routes open to Merchants and Civillians , which would be regularly patrolled by Imperial Warships . There will be 5 hyperspace routes , 4 for the Imperial Navy and out of bounds to the Public . The remainder 1 route is an emergency route , to be used in Galactic Crises for the Imperial Lords and myself to escape . To enter Mationbuds controlled solar systems , you must enter through one of the 5 entry points . Upon reaching each entry point , you are to revert to real-space for security checks and so on . If you do not stop , you will be forcefully be interdicted and destroyed after being forcefully reverted to real-space . Each entry point is guarded by 4 Imperial MKIII Star Destroyers , 2 Mon Calamari MC80 Star Cruisers , 10 Golan Planetary Defense Stations and 2 Golan Heavy Defense Cannons , which are able to slice through any warship with a single shot plus 2 Interdicter Cruisers and 1 Orbital Shipyard which houses several warships that patrol the boundaries of Imperial territory and may call there to re-arm and refuel . The orbital yards also carry several squadrons of Starfighters and Starbombers each . We have implimented such measures to ensure that the Galactic Empire of Mationbuds will remain safe at all times and will have ample time to prepare and forewarned should any foreign attack commence . We will still be running at normal and all foreign diplomatic missions will not be disrupted . We sincerely wish that this Iron Curtain Defence system will work . Good day ."
