+++An Air Gejigrad Boeing 747-8 Intercontinental, tail number 9E-228, carrying People's President Thompson and his aides and bodyguards, as well as Miss Ã…kesson and her entourage, would appear on Flurthwel's international airport's radar screen, flanked by four F/A-31 Raven fighters as an escort. An accented voice would sound across the control tower's radio:
+++Flurthwell Control, this is Foxtrot Zero-One, requesting landing clearance. Be advised, we have with us one fighter section as guardians. Repeat, this is Foxtrot Zero-One, requesting clearance to land. We have four fighters as escort. Over.

"Foxtrot Zero-One, this is Flurthwel, you have permission to land. Over."

Above them five planes in neat formation, the larger central one flanked by the four smaller, bat-like escorts. The roar of the engines sounded in the descent of Gejigrad's leadership, as a small and somewhat rag-tag assembly clustered under a small gazebo, shielding themselves from the blazing, searing heat of the sun, high above. The Sultan sat, with various handmaidens around him, his middle daughter stalking nervously behind him like a caged big cat, whilst the Grand Vizier stood at his shoulder, hawkish eyes locked on the sleekly-dropping plane.

"When they exit the plane, have the band strike up the Gejigrad national anthem."

"Yes, Holiness, we are ready to receive them," he assured the fretting Sultan.

"And the wreaths, and gifts?"

"Everything is prepared."

"Good." The Sultan sighed. "And-"

"Yes, Holiness."

+++Copy that, Flurthwel Control. Coming in for a landing now.
+++The massive Boeing's engines screamed higher as it descended, aligning itself with the runway, while the fighters peeled off, making their own request to land at a seperate runway. A deafening roar engulfed the area as the wheels touched the ground, and the aircraft braked to a stop, finally taxiing off to one side to deposit its cargo.
+++Four nondescript bodyguards exited the plane first, as the stairway rolled up. Once satisfied, they motioned for the rest to come out; this took a few minutes. Some guards would stay behind to watch over the plane, while the rest moved with Matthew and Sunniva, the two squads of trussed-up PA troops in tow.
