The Republic of Whittlesfield has recently further developed its oil production capabilities, and will shortly be exporting oil. 10 MMbbl/d is the target. Any nations interested in helping with this project please, express your interest.

During the recent Civil War in our country, many of our organic oil wells and refinaries were put out of action. Because of this, we need a large amount of oil. Enough for 250 million people per day.

In light of the increased production and the request for assistance in further developing the production of oil and presumably the energy infrastructure, the Royal Petroleum Company of the United Kingdom would like to officiall announce its interest in aiding in any ventures, preferably through joint ventures with significant shares held by Royal Petroleum. However, before committing, we would ask for a further outline of what needs your nation requires.

Whittlesfield you should look at the threds that blackhelm posts in and form an allince with the other poor saps hes attacking. He has alot of enemys but dont be stupied dont threten nuclear attack it always backfirers. As the mercanaries moved in to positions around Whittlesfield's oil refinery, they did not pay much attention to the lines of piping, which they assumed to be oil. Quietly, small pipes which spread like a spider's web around the area began to hiss. Sarin gas was being pumped out. The positions of the mercs had been tracked with thermal cameras, and automated Gattling Cannons rose out of the ground to slaughter those who were near.
Inside the complex, people rushed around with a determined fervour, as red lights flashed, and missiles were armed.

The gas did not effect the mercenaries, because they always wear gasmasks. (Gas attacks are regular things in Griffincrest Doctrine) The gatling guns, however, were different, and 10 men were cut down before they could react. Quickly, the guns were targeted by Javelins, and destroyed. Soo, dozens of canisters of Chloropicrin and Lewisite were tossed into the refinery. The guard posts at the entrance to the refinery was hit by a Javelin, and bust into flames. Two mortars were also set up, and aimed at the tankers nearby. They fired, and the tankers exploded in fire.

The Tomahawks should be hitting the major port right about now...

And an actual GSF should be en route, containing 100,000 mercenaries, 2000 Mercury's, 750 SA-11's, 1000 RG-20's, and 400 T-74's. They also have about 400 HY-2 missiles, to set up once on shore.

I although suggest that you beef up your defences, such as installing blast doors at all enterances to your facilities.

From underground, small UCAVs were launched. The "Dragonfly" drones were about 50cm long, and were ornithoptors. They carried small dart guns filled with Fluoroantimonic acids, amongst other poisons. They would finish off the remaining men.
The damage at the port had been heavy, and many ships were destroyed in the dock, but 52 Astute class submarines had set off from various other locations to engage the oncoming fleet. They would attack with their SCALP Naval missiles, which would destroy the fleet from over 1000 miles away, and with their stealthy characteristics, they would have maximum penetration..
In the skies, Replica fighter bombers kept air supremacy, and were armed with Meteor BVRAAMs, as well as an assortment of Air-to-Ground missiles.

The darts were laughed at by the Griffincrest soldiers, as the darts merely broke on the ceramic inserts in their kevlar vest. They fired more rockets and missiles into the refinery, until it was a massive fireball, and then moved on to their next victims.

At sea, Griffincrest security advisors realized the need for air power, and so deployed 3 carriers, each with 120 planes. The total planes were 240 Gnats and 120 F-4 Phantom II's. The carriers also loosed a group of P3C Orion's, to help find submarines and radio in coordinates of incoming threats.

Helicon Inc. has long been one of the forerunners in oil production, and not without good cause. Helicon Inc. is prepared to make you an offer... an offer that will seriously aid The Free Lands. Helicon Incorperated would like to purchase the rights to oil production in Whittlesfield, for the price of, initially, $750,000,000,000 USD. We will also grant The Free Lands 25% of all profit made by sale of oil from the nation. The lands would still be under the soviergn rule of Whittlesfield, all peoples abiding by its laws... the only difference would simply be that instead of paying the oil miners, and maintaining the facilities itself, the Helicon Corporation would take care of it for you. OOC - To say my darts would not penetrate your armour is godmodding. And besides, the acid they contain would burn through your suits anyway.

IC - The ancient Orions were blasted out of the air by the Replica planes from ranges of over 100km. This would leave the interceptors in the air without the information they needed. The interceptors launched from the carriers were outdated and outclassed by the Replica fighters. With their extremely low RCS and plasma stealth, they could approach the Phantoms and Gnats with little worry of being attacked. Type 45 Destroyers were moving in on the fleets positions, and backed up by Avro 730 bombers based back on land. Nimrod AEWs were launched to ensure air superiority.
Back at the compound, the whole area had been levelled to prevent any further incursions by Mercanaries.

OOC: I'll be away until Thursday, but I'll help out if you'd like, Rosdivan. GASN may be made to advocate national sovereignty, but nations (or corporations in this case) do not deserve sovereignty when they violate other nations' without good reason. Count me in if you need it.

*Shrinks text as not to spam thread*, even if he doesn't involve the GASN, I'm still thinking he might get help. As long the actual body of the alliance isn't involved, I see legal problem with him getting aid from a GASN ally. Rather like other NATO countries helping the US in Iraq. Just because they are both NATO, doesn't mean the actual alliance is involved.

We welcome any joint ventures. We are looking to exploit our oil reserves situated in lagoons; we have no previous experience with offshore oil rigs.
