Germany was a strange place in 1936. After suffering several humilating defeats at the end of World War 1, she finally held off attacking forces before they could cross into germany territory at Strasbourg, and agreed to a treaty ending the war. It had cost Germany dearly in manpower and supplies, but they had gotten off rather easily, although there economy was still somewhat strong, their trade partners had left them and their allies had either been destroyed or backed out.
In the 1920's several Industrial and Commercial programs helped move the Economy further, but the depression effected Germany on a whole nother level. The goverment fell into near shambles, Commerce fell on its face, and Industries fought to survive. A radical and strong Nazi party had promised big things for Germany, and were delivering. The economy was growing fast, Industries were surpassing the level in 1916, and best of all, the people had grown proud and strong. A smart young leader named Adolf Hitler had been in power for two years, and had grown to be loved and despised. But nevertheless, he kept the nation together,which was good.
The Military had been growing very quickly, it's airforce, navy and army all among the strongest in Europe, and soon to be on a new level following plans that were about to be unfolded. A massive new fleet program, A mutli-thousand unit new armored program, and a large air program would propell Nazi Germany into a bright and powerful future.
