OOC:This is a closed rp to Jarvon and I, it's a continuance/offshoot of his intro. In short, three Sharlin-class Warcruisers who rebelled against the Federation during the canon Earth/Minbari war of Babylon 5 entered Jarvon's sytem in the NS-verse. They attacked him, destroying the majority of his in-system fleet and heavily damaging his flagship when a Federation flagship, the Victorious, entered the system. The three Sharlins made for the dimensional rift that brought Jarvon to the NS-verse, and here we are. Enjoy the show!
Bajor System, Alternate Dimension
Where the hell are we?

The blue jumpspace vortex erupted in the middle of the Bajor system, and both remaining pirate Sharlins exited the vortex. Their shields were up, weaponry armed, and their stealth systems on full blast, in the case of any Imperials being in-system.

The Bridge of Strelas'tha
"Alyt, we are not detecting any vessels similar to the Imperials in this system, although we are detecting others. Our stealth system is active, although the Imperials managed to target us, probably using visual confirmation."

"Yes, comm. Maintain silence with Vindira, let's move into the shadow of the gas giant."

"Aye, sir. Vindira appears to be following us."

"Good, good.." the Alyt murmured to himself, as he waited expectantly for an Imperial flotilla to jump out on top of them. A bead of sweat popped up on his brow, which he wiped away. Minbari from the Warrior Caste such as him were never to show signs of weakness under pressure; Every Alyt in the Federation Navy would never show they were nervous, especially in combat situations.

In the corridors of Strelas'tha
Two gunners ran to their posts as the red alert echoed across the halls of the massive Sharlin, talking as they ran.

"My friend was on Tragati..I wonder what happened to her, I heard the Alyt saying that Tragati wasn't responding to hails while we were crossing over."

"I don't know..There's a decent chance that Tragati went nova, that ship's quantum core was fickle compared to ours or Vindira's, I think the core blew up when we got out of the hole."

The two Minbari stopped in front of a large door that said "Front-side left gunnery", punched a keycode in, and the huge door slid open, showing computer screens with tactical data, gun readouts, technical sheets, status reports, everything a gunner would never use in the heat of battle..

These two ships were lost in a foreign dimension, and they could never return. Their only method of escape was guarded by the fleet of the Enemy, and the Battle of Trill had proven that the Imperial numbers could overwhelm the superior guns and technology of the Sharlins. Two thousand people, stranded, in a hostile galaxy. The Alyt held a hope in his mind that the Bajorans of this galaxy weren't friendly to the Empire..

OOC: @Whyatica: This is just an F.Y.I., but I'm going to be using my friend's Bajoran Militia nation's account to RP here (I couldn't get him to stop playing that new Medal Of Honor game of his (Its called Allied Assault, IIRC)). I just wanted to let you know that it was me using that account instead of my M.O.H. 'addicted' friend who is the rightful creator and owner of the nation. Meh, the cost for the password is acceptable by my standards. Of course, no need to go into details (talk to me over MSN or TG if you really want to know the price).

Now, I'm going to go change into my temporarily 'borrowed' account and be right back to make an IC post.

Various ships of non-U.E.P. origin flitted about the system. Most impressive of all was the Alliance Hutet class capital ship 'orbiting' the Alliance's in-system station, Terok Nor, that was restocking on supplies. The giant ship dwarfed not only the Sharlins, but also any Imperial ship they had thus far encountered, with the single exception of the Enterprise-I. As Alliance technology was inferior to that of the Empire, Alliance ships made up by simply having more of it. The armor of the Hutet class had been well documented of being able to ram multiple ships in a row while the shields were down and come out with only minor and easily repairable surface damage. The Empire had no class of ship that could match a Hutet in one-on-one combat currently, though Alliance intelligence was well aware that they were working on one.

While the Bajorans were a part of the Alliance, they were seperate enough to also maintain their own, seperate territory unlike the Breen and Cardassians whose territories were merged with that of the Klingons and other members of the Alliance.

The Cardassian Gul in charge of the Hutet watched the main viewscreen. It had been automatically switched to the location the energy vortexes that marked the Sharlins' point of return to Real Space. Massive vortices of energy like those were not that hard to miss.

He looked at his helm officer, who shook her head. The Hutet's massive impulse engines were still in the process of being refueled. Thus, it was decided that Bajoran ships would be sent to investigate while the Hutet and her escorts would remain on stand-by in case they were needed.

OOC: Pics of a Hutet.

All fourty-five craft began bombarding the local area with energy from their passive and active sensors upon arrival. They all bore the primary mark of Bajor (http://i17.photobucket.com/albums/b91/SeaQuest_Sim/Schematics/Velantia/bajoran_logo.gif) and that of the Alliance (http://i17.photobucket.com/albums/b91/SeaQuest_Sim/Schematics/Velantia/mirror-alliance-symbol.jpg).

OOC: Greeting party has 12 assault ships, 24 fighters, 3 light scouts, and 6 raiders.

The bridge of Strelas'tha
"Alyt, there are a group of local vessels searching for us, they're searching in the general area of our jumpspace exit point."

"I believe now would be the time to reveal ourselves. These ships are definetly dissimilar to the Empire's design, and any enemy of the Empire is a friend of ours. Open hailing frequencies to the largest ship in that task force."

"Hailing frequencies open."

"Attention local vessels: We are rebel vessels from the Minbari Federation. The odds are you've never heard of us, and that is because the United Empire has opened a trans-dimensional portal, linking our dimension to yours. We were attacked by the Empire's ships, probably because they wanted our technology, and our original three vessels wiped out the majority of an Empire task force, before we escaped through the portal. We consider ourselves at war with the United Empire of Planets, and we wish to know about you. We're lowering our shields and stealth devices, as a sign of respect."

"Close the frequency." the Alyt whispered to the comm officer, who obeyed, cutting off the frequency.

"Well, you heard me. Lower the shields, disable the stealth device. Keep us running hot, though, if they are allied with the Empire we'll need to make a quick exit."

Strelas'tha lowered her shields, and her stealth device was disabled, allowing limited scans of the ship itself. Vindira followed suit, although her stealth device remained enabled, the Alyt was far more paranoid than on Strelas'tha.

OOC: Meh, I'll occasionally not be bothered enough to do the account switch, so I'll sometimes be posting as Jarvon, or one of my other faces (depends on which I'm logged in at the moment with). Just so you know, Whyatica.

And the biggest would be the assault ships. Still, they are dwarfed by your pirate Sharlins, which are dwarfed in turn by the much larger Hutet class battle dreadnaught near Terrok Nor.

IC: Lead Assualt Ship - Bridge

"Recieving a transmission from two ships that just dropped some form of cloaking device."

"Play it."

"Aye."

The pirate Sharlin's message was played over the bridge speakers (OOC: For the sake of story, I'm going to say it was in Minbari. A'right?).

"What the hell was that?"

"Unknown language. Its not in the databanks."

"Tactical analysis."

"The ships appear to have some sort of weaponary the computer can't readily identify. They have some form of gun ports scattered across the hull. In my experience, weapons requiring ports indicates some form of projectile weapon."

"Or they could be recessed energy weapons."

"Aye. Unable to tell as we can't seem to get a clear reading past their hull material, whatever it is."

"Hail them using all known lingual codes."

"Alyt, can you speak English?" the communications officer said tentatively. English was being taught at some of the Interstellar Alliance classes, as well as being a standard in most Galactic Federation classrooms.

"A little, run the standard translation program. Open a channel."

"Channel open, Alyt."

"Local vessels: I speak English, however poorly it may seem to you. We are enemies of the United Empire of Planets, and I believe you are not affiliated with them. If it is possible, I request a diplomatic conference with one of your rank officers. We are representatives of the Minbari Federation, and how we got here is a matter that I wish to discuss privately with a rank officer."

"English!? Bah, I was hoping they would choose Bajoran or some computer language over that."

The first officer rolled her eyes and said, "I know, I know. Your dislike of anything to do with the Humans, even their primary language, is well documented."

"Then you do it."

"As you wish."

Response:

English is the language of the Humans, but its also widely accepted as a standard language in this galaxy for use by traders and others.

Now, you are in the Bajoran Star System which belongs to the Bajoran Militia, a member of the Alliance. If you are as you claim, enemies of the Empire, then you are welcome here. The Alliance and the Empire have been fighting back-and-forth for total galactic domination for several centuries.

As for how you got here, as your quantum signatures do not match the one for this reality, that's quite obvious. The Empire has opened a whole between our reality and yours. The system they choose to do it was on their side of the border and they made no attempt at hiding what they were doing.

Now, if you still want to discuss things with the one in charge, then you'll have to speak with the Intendent. She's in charge of the entire star system for the Alliance.

OOC: Meh, once again didn't feel like doing the nation swap.

"Interesting..So there is an Anti-Empire group in this galaxy. Perhaps we could help them out a little."

"I'm inclined to disagree, sir. The Empire will be looking for us soon, and if we show up with any Alliance fleets we'll become prime targets. They'll do anything to get at us and our technology, we must stay hidden."

"XO, I'll take that under consideration, but for now Bajor appears to be a safe harbour. Open a new channel, comm."

"Open."

"Attention Bajoran vessels: We request an audience with the Intendent, if you could act as escorts to the large station or the planet we would be grateful. Alyt Shakiri ra'Vonilbok out."

"Channel closed."

"Alyt, are you absolutely sure this is what you want to do? We could, perhaps, find an uninhabited planet somewhere, we have enough people here for a viable colony."

"If we ever want to return home, XO, allying ourselves with the Alliance is our best bet. Who knows, in time it could be possible that the Alliance captures Trill, and we can go home."

"To what home.." the XO mumbled to himself.

"What was that?" Alyt Shakiri said to his XO, glaring.

"I said 'To what home', sir. We're pirates, we have no home, the Federation is..was, rather, constantly after us in our own dimension, and the Empire will be constantly coming after us in this one. We have no home."

Alyt Shakiri didn't respond, as the truth in his words sank in..

Then follow us. Though, if you can open those energy vortices again, or whatever they were, we could use them to seriously cut down travel time. That is, if they are part of your superluminal drive systems as we have judged from our sensor readings.

No response message was sent, but the Bajoran vessels banked about and formed up with the two Sharlin's in the center. Of course, at least one bridge officer aboard the lead assault ship was dissapointed at not being able to get a closer look at those energy vortices these people employed.

Fluid Time Later

Upon reaching Terok Nor, the small group of Bajoran craft mostly darted away to return to their original duties, excluding the former lead assault ship of course.

If the Minbari bothered to look, they would note that once they had reached the same distance from the station as the Hutet, a brief three-way conversation was held over comm-lines between the Hutet, the assault ship, and the station.

A few moments after the tri-way comm meeting ended, a short message was transmitted to the Sharlins from the assault ship.

Terok Nor was not designed to dock ships of your magnitude. However, if you have shuttles at your disposal, they can set aside one of the landing pads for its use.

OOC: I'm putting a flyer about the size of a Danube class runabout so this will work. That a'right with you?

OOC:Fine.

The two Sharlins pulled up in front of Terok Nor, and a brief communication took place between Vindira and Strelas'tha.

Bridge of Strelas'tha
Alyt Aalann's face appeared on the holographic communications on the main bridge of Strelas'tha, and Alyt Shakiri talked to him alone, as the bridge crew pretended to ignore their conversation.

"I will be going onboard Terok Nor with my Lindira. If anything looks fishy, get the hell out of here." Alyt Shakiri said.

"Everything about this looks fishy, Shakiri. I'm particularly nervous about that gargantuan thing docked here." Aalann responded.

"This appears to be a well-defended system, so I doubt the Empire will look for us here."

"I suppose. I'll keep an eye out. Vindira out." and with that, Alyt Aalann's face disappeared.

Shakiri pressed his chair communicator, and said, "Shakiri to hangar. Prepare my Lindira flyer for launch. You have five minutes."

He looked at his executive officer and said, "If I don't report back in forty-five minutes, assume the worst, and you are to take Vindira and get out. Find an uninhabited system somewhere and set up shop. Understood?"

"Understood, Alyt."

"Good, then I will report back in 45 minutes if all goes well."

Shakiri left the bridge, and headed down to the hangars. The communications officer on the bridge sent back a message, saying, "Yes, we have flyers designed for this purpose. We can launch one now."

The Lintira Flyer recieved this message, routed through Strelas'tha's communications system. It sent a response directly to Terok Nor, saying "Roger that, incoming on landing pad 3."

It hovered briefly in the hangar, and it's forward drives activated, pushing it carefully out of the Sharlin's bay. It cruised over to the fighter docking point, which had opened for it, and it set down on landing pad three. The pilot elected to stay behind and 'keep the engine running' so to speak, and Alyt Shakiri escorted by two unarmed guards left the flyer.

OOC: Due to another thread of mine that needs this account and is quite active at the moment, I'll be posting here with it for a while, but IC'ly it won't be Jarvon but either Velantia or Bajoran Militia. Just wanted to let you know why.

IC: Intendent Kira Nerys (http://memory-alpha.org/en/images/9/90/Intendant_Kira.jpg) stood waiting at the station side of the air-lock flanked by two Klingon guards. If it weren't for the obvious difference in nasal structure, the Bajoran woman, and any Bajoran for that matter, could be mistaken for a human. Of course, the standard Bajoran earing, black outfit, Alliance symbol, and the Intendant's 'crown' (OOC: Can't think of a better term for the silver thing on her head in the pic) were dead give aways from other angles, besides the front, of who she was.

"Welcome aboard Terok Nor," she said with her hands clasped behind her back as the inner air-lock door rolled aside fully revealing the the Minbari.
Whyatica

The three Minbari exited the airlock, breathing the different air of Terok Nor, it smelled slightly off to them but they ignored it. Different species, after all.

"Sim'wa, Intendent Nerys." Shakiri said with a slight bow. "I am Alyt Shakiri of the good ship Strelas'tha."

OOC: Interesting how you knew the name prior to any introductions, but, meh, I'll let it slide this time.

IC: The Klingon guards shifted slightly at the, to them, unrecognized species of the Minbari.

The Intendent, however, smiled and bowed her head in return.

"You'll excuse me," she said, "but I don't recognize your species. Though, judging from the messages you sent to our ships, I thought that would most likely be the case."

Her eyes darted to a section of the wall to the left of the air-lock the Minbari had exited from.

"Pardon me for a moment," she said.

With a scowl, she walked over and gave the area of wall she had looked at a moment earlier and gave it a good whack with her fist. Almost immediately, the wall segement shifted from its 'normal' look to a golden goo. The goo slid to the floor and reformed into the humanoid shape of Odo.

Schooling her expression, but allowing her self a scowl at Odo's expense, she turned to the Minbari and said, "Allow me to introduce Constable Odo, chief of security, and soon to be executive officer once Garek's ship is ready, of the station. As you've probably guessed," she glared at Odo, "he wasn't supposed to be here."
