The Second Atlantis

Prologue: Years ago, The Emperor of the Second Atlantis passed a law that allowed the military to create genetically modified soldiers. So two scientists have been working on creating their first genetically modified soldier in a military base.
“The mutant that we created is incredible. Our Emperor we’ll give us millions for our work, maybe even billions.” Scientist Nathan Dier said.
Scientist Dora Lang was looking through her microscope, checking the cells of the genetically modified humans “Oh no!” she screamed “His cells are disintegrating. Although he is still strong on the outside, he is dying on the inside. It looks like he only has a year left of life.”
“NO!” Dr. Dier yelled “There must be something, anything we can do to save him.”
“We could try, but I doubt that we’ll find a cure by the end of the year.” She replied, looking sad and hopeless.
“I can’t believe it. Our medical practices and experiments have killed a person. I can’t believe it” Lang was practically in tears. “This wasn’t supposed to happen, how could we of failed!”
“Shut up!” Dr. Lang yelled. “Nobody can know about this.”
All of a sudden, Fred Langus, the genetically modified soldier appeared.
“What are you doing here and how long have you been here” Dr. Dier yelled, both angry and afraid. “And how the hell did you get in here!”
“Long enough to hear about my death sentence.” Fred said angrily
“We’re really sorry about this, but please remain calm.” Dr. Lang said.
“Shut up!” Fred screamed. He took out a knife and threw it at her face, killing her instantly. Blood streamed from her face, as her nose, mouth and eye tore open.
Instantly Dr. Dier took out his gun and was about to shoot, but Fred was too quick. Fred got his gun out and shot Dr. Dier in the arm with the gun. Dr. Dier screamed in pain.
“You’re a fool to try to take on me. I have the military training, and I’ve got the genetic modifications”
“Please, we were only doing what we were told.” Dr. Dier said, still in pain, moaning
“Oh and who gave you the orders”
“The emperor of course”
“Then I shall kill him. But first I must deal with you” Fred shot at the scientist again, killing him in the chest.
Fred knew that the rest of the military would come, so he’d have to make his escape quick. He jumped out of the building he was in. He was on the 6th floor, yet due to his genetic modifications, he could make it without getting damaged. He got his motorcycle and raced out of there. By the time the military came, he had made his escape deep into the woods. He would have to go by foot since it was too dangerous to drive through the trees.
Meanwhile:
The Emperor of The Second Atlantis sat in the back seat of his limo patiently. He was going to a meeting involving a lot of nations. When all of a sudden he got a call:
“Hello?”
“Emperor, a genetically enhanced human has escaped and killed two people.” A general responded.
“Well this is a horrible tragedy. Thank you for informing me. I’m sure you can find him on your own” The emperor said, a bit annoyed about the insignificant information.
“There’s more, a lot more. This person wants to kill you!”
“WHAT! WHY?”
“This genetically enhanced human is angry, very angry. Apparently the scientists made an error, an error which will cause his life to be shortened. Since you’re the one who allowed this experiment to proceed, he finds you responsible.”
“I want this man dead or alive, with a 5 million Eran reward. However this will not interfere with my plans. You better find him, or there will be severe consequences”
The emperor hung up the phone and tried to relax.
“Is there a problem emperor?” The driver asked
“Nope, nothing at all, keep driving.”
