It goes right through it and everyone has to evac. With ECM though, the missile would not be able to lock onto the Airship and would probably not hit it.

OCC: the poilt will have to get close and and would be targeted by lots of guns.

OOC: Well, in that case the same thing happens. In any case though, it would be suppremely inefficient to use an AA to destroy an airship.

the Empire would have plenty of uses for these craft.

A recoiless gun works by shooting a big plume of gas out the back to counteract the motion of the gun. That won't work on an airship.
