To the Nations and Corporations of the World,

Due to the fledgling nature of the Federation's own defence industries, the Council of the State has decided to place on bid to foreign nations the chance to construct and develop Azraelonia's ground-based defence installations.

Whilst the Azraelonian State Defence Corporation is capable of manufacture of Anti-Personnel and Anti-Vehicle Mines, the Federation seeks foreign corporations which can provide Azraelonia's military bases, government buildings, and (most broadly) the ten largest cities in the Federation with Anti-Air and Anti-Ground Force defences. The Federation is also looking for a foreign corporation to construct a multi-level Government Survival Centre deep below the surface of the Federation, to survive possible NBC attacks.

Corporations can either bid for the contract as a whole, or for individual sections of the proposal. Details must be provided on the defences which can be constructed, along with a monetary cost bid for the project.

The Federation thanks you for your interest.

On the matter of defences, we are largely looking towards visible aerial defences, comprising AA missiles or gun batteries. Personnel deployed is not an issues, although computerisation of defences would minimise the number of personnel required. On the matter of ground defences, we would wish to look for an even split between infantry and vehicle defences.

We can construct a series of bunkers encircling your installations quite easily. Each bunker will be 90% underground and constructed out of concrete. In addition each bunker will be reinforced with steel and Kevlar panels. Each bunker will be able to withstand hits from anything up to and including a tank round or anti-tank missle with ease. The bunkers will be armed with your choice of 3 of the following:
TOW missle lanucher
Rapier 100mm anti-tank gun
Bushmaster II 30mm cannon
M2 12.7mm machine gun
Mk. 19 40mm grenade launcher
M240B 7.62mm machine gun


Also each bunker can hold up 50 troops, with firing ports for 12 of them, and can be sealed against NBC threats. Each bunker is self contained and has enough provisions for 4 days of hard fighting without resupply.

The cost will be US$1.09 million per bunker.

In addition, we offer the option to construct tunnels to link the bunkers into a network or to support bunkers further in the rear. This will cost US$103,500 per 50 meter of tunnel.

For the underground bunker the Association will build it at 310 feet, into the bedrock, below the surface of the capital. Access will be through a deep concrete area that leads to the initial outer barriers of the stronghold which will be 5 foot wide titanium blast doors, which at the center will a 2 foot wide lead core. This will be followed by 7 foot wide steel blast doors, of which in the center of it will be two feet of solid lead. Then after that would be the last 3 foot wide titanium and steel door of which at the center of it will be foot strong lead radiation shield. As well, between each door there will be a chemical release mechanism to cleanse the area of harmful substances ranging from radioactive to biological. After that would be a chemical shower to cleanse the flesh of anyone that might come into contact with chemical, radioactive, or biological substance.

The out structure of the building will consist of the building will be a steel casing two feet thick. Then followed by a lead barrier a foot wide. Then there will be a cement structure ten feet wide. Inside that will be an initial area that the government workers will stay that consists of 15 armories, 250 multiple person offices, 45 private offices, 80 massive generators capable of powering the entire compound, 120 back up generators, 40 eighty person barracks, 60 private bedrooms, 4 hospital areas, 20 medical areas, 8 command rooms, 12 conference rooms, 265 full individual bathrooms, 12 eight million gallon tanks, 16 large areas for your own purposes, 20 inner bunkers, 32 guard posts, and there will be a number of automatic defenses installed in it and also there be security measures taken everywhere. This will be an eight level structure stock piled to feed the people inside for three and a half years.

At 450 feet below there will be the bunker for the country’s leaders. To protect it there will an eight foot wide steel blast door with a 2 foot wide lead core. Followed by a two foot wide titanium blast door. Inside there will be 3 conference rooms, 6 eighty person barracks, 4 armories, 28 large private bedrooms, 4 presidential suites, and 50 private bedrooms, 2 command areas, 3 eight million gallon water tanks, and 12 guard posts. As well, there will be enough food stored to last six full years.

The surface defense will curtail a concrete wall that is 18 feet high and 10 feet wide. Every 60 yards there will be a 48 foot high guard tower with an armory and eight heavy machines guns inside of it. To protect from area attack there will 125 MIM-104 Patriot missile sites outside the city and another 140 MIM-104 Patriot inside of the city. Other defenses outside the city will be two fully encircling anti-vehicle ditch, 24,000 steel vehicle barriers, and 42,500 concrete vehicle barriers. Other defenses will be 1800 mortar positions and 1250 artillery positions. As well, there will be 10,500 machine gun nests and 3600 infantry bunkers on the surface.

We would like construction to begin immediately. As for Hydac, we wish 50 bunkers for our largest Army, Navy and Air Force bases, armed with a TOW missle launcher, a Rapier 100mm anti-tank gun and a Bushmaster II 30mm cannon.

Alright, then we shall begin construction right now then and the total time for it to be built will be about 2 years (2 RL days)

The total comes to US$ 54.5 million. We anticipate that construction will be complete in 6 NS months. We look forward to future dealings with you and hope you will come to us for any further defensive needs such as tank ditches, wire obstructions, minefields, further bunkers, andany other projects you desire.
