"Oh s***!"

"Honey what's wrong?!"

"I dreamt... that we were slaves! And we like wore like like like tight clothes and I had a massive bulge and you were like wow and then like we were ruled by aliens noes! And then like we had thousands and thousands of enemies and like some Fedral Union wanted to kill us and some Otagia dude wanted to kill us and then we had a guy that ruled the entire Galaxy and we were all like whoa and then like my son went to war and died and there like there was a like a Star War and like somthing about Star Destroyers and oh s*** it was amazing and then they cut my head off and I was all like whoa! And I-"

"Honey it was a dream... agh it's morning... want me to get the coffee?"

The guy yawned. "Oh fine..."

He got of bed. But who was he exactly? He was President of the Cassiopeian Commonwealth. He, was George Huntingsworth. He approached the window, which was massive, and looked at the city. It was beautiful in the morning really. Hover cars... hovering to and fro the streets. Wolven like (as in from Starfox... hey those fighters look cool) flew over building patrolling and whatnot. Citizens too poor to get a hover car or just random people who enjoyed the view walked. The buildings in the meanwhile had a quaint Naboo-esque feel to them. But where the President was, was the largest building on the Planet. It looked like a Naboo-esque Versailles, complete with large obnoxious gardens. I wonder how many more stereotypes I can fit in here. Let's keep going.

George yawned. "Time to get dressed."

He entered the uber duper auto dressing machine that... auto dresses you. How? I don't know it's the future. He came out of the said machine and he appeared... dressed. He had a suit on, that's all. A suit, not some weird tight clothes that emphasises a man's bulge. A suit, a bloody suit. It's a nice suit too.

He approached his wife, the one who told him to wake up, and kissed her good bye. Her name is Krista Huntingsworth if you must know, slut.

He went downstairs using uber futuristic stairs, they're uber futuristic since they're chrone. Shocking I know. Today he was going to have a meeting with the Foreign Minister. If you must know the Ministries are part of the giant Palatial complex, I don't know how many there are because I haven't gone that far yet. He arrived at the lobby which was... a lobby. Hell I don't have to describe everything. He walked aboard the uber transporting machine thing, which is a pod that takes people to a section of the Palatial complex, using a complicated pipe system. Of course teleportation is easier but I'm too darned stubborn to use magical powerz. Right. Anywho the pod thing went up and down and all round and and ended up inside the magical Foreign Ministry's lobby. From there he went up some more stairs and there he was... in front of the Foreign Minister's office.

I'm going to use this oppertunity to tell you how George looks like, well, he looks like this (http://upload.wikimedia.org/wikipedia/commons/8/81/Vladimir_Putin.jpg). Sexy eh? Krista, the wife, looks like Putin's wife. And the foreign minister? I dunno I'll get a picture later.

George opened the door and there sat the Foreign Minister... making phone calls and whatnot. The office looked nice too. There was the Cassiopeian flag hanging in the back, there were like cabinets and a little plaque on the wall that said "Minister of the Year" and whatnot. The Foreign Minister, now his name being Robert Yearsly, hang up his phone and looked at George with a jaded look in his eye. "So." He said. "Sure you wanna do this?"

"Of course!" George replied. "We cannot stay in this little hole forever. We must go forth and find new lifeforms!"

"And what if those life forms want to kill us with indiscriminate rage?" Robert said dryly.

"Well." George replied. "Then that would suck. Anywho, get the thingy that will like transmit our holographic message into the outer space thing."

George sighed and got it from a drawer. "Here." He said. "Shall I press send?"

"Make it so."

George pressed it... and here's the message.

The Message

George is sitting on his desk, the Cassiopeian flag in the background. He starts speaking.

"Greetings! I am the Cassiopeian President, George Huntingsworth. We are a humble Commonwealth comprising of a system of eight planets. All different in their forms and all beautiful. We are a large people, comprising of almost three billion humans. Well, large to us we don't know to you, the recipiant. Our extraterristrial efforts are quite successful, for we have explored the outlying systems and we have colonies on them. Of course, not under our direct supervision but nevertheless. With this message is the coordinates of the Capitol, Rosanica, You will see multiple defence stations, you will be required to dock in them. We are ready to see you, other lifeform or what have you, and we hope that a long period of peace and cultural exchange can occur. Of course new technology is appreciated, but we are not simpletons, we already have FTL technology, but we don't go further due to the paranoia of our Senate. So please, come. Thank you and good day."

(Ah! I'm that new owner of Cassiopeia, I left a clue in the RP that vets should pick up on. My MSN Messanger is serg02@msn.com . Oh and whoever figures it out can post who I am here. Right, so... POST! REPLY DARN IT AH.)

(Yes it has been a long while. But I'm hoping to get in the ring of things now. With this nations popularity, as in how many people know it, and population, so I don't get pwned easily, I'll be back on top. Anywho, I plan to get different tech for this Cassi nation here, so if you know something unique tell me, I'm more of an RPer then a stats person anyway. Good to see you're still around >.>)

OOC: You mind a visit ICly?

As for tech, I can sell you some things....as for something truly unique, I cannot tell. Though Honorverse tech seems to be in vogue as the Cool Independent Tech.

Commissariat of Foreign Affairs Carla Baileygates, who looked not unlike Jackie Kennedy, shuddered. "Cassiopeans! Those SOBs!?"

"Well Ma'am, it seems these are different Cassiopeans. Not the ones we knew. Presumably, its either a regime change, or quite simply, we had a different Cassiopean government in mind. They seem nice enough."

Baileygates then said, somewhat convinced but a little skeptical: "Hmm....perhaps we can make a deal with these guys. After all, they're much more coherent."

A message was sent back, in the form of a telegram sent to the Cassiopean Capital, Rosanica:

"Cassiopean Government.

We of the Workers State of New Dornalia would like to have contacts with you. We too are an advanced civilization, no strangers to exploration, FTL, advanced weapons, and a culture of fine liquors.

We were wondering, perhaps, if an embassy exchange is possible. I can talk to you in person if this is necessary.

Well of course an Embassy is possible. We can't wait for your visit, the only conditions is if you can come on an unarmed ship, it's for security reasons only of course. Don't know who to trust these days you know. Just alert me when you're here and I'll fly up there and we can talk aboard your spaceship. Take care.

OOC: Technically, infamy would be a better word than popularity, especially considering how many of his threads have been locked (starts with "a" and ends with "ll of them"). Anyway, glad to see it under new management, which HAS to be far better than the original.... Just change the password, yes?

Anyway, I'm keeping those systems I conquered. I did RP it fair and square, after all...

Earth, Imperial Palace:

The polished stone lined the elaborate hallway as two people passed through them. The rich colors of the tapestries contrasted with the cool blue and gold of the lapis lazuli flagstones in the ever changing mosaic upon the floor. Soft padded divans were situated along the side, strategically positioned near several of the works of art adorning the ancient stone.

The taller of the two hardly noticed the rich decor as he passed. He was busy thinking about the message they had just received and how he was going to tell the Emperor. All too soon he had come to the door leading to the room where he was to meet with him. The youth accompanying him stepped forward and silently opened the door. When the man had entered, the youth closed the door and left.

“Welcome Ta’Aal. I have been expecting you.”

The voice came from the other end of the dimly lit room. The shadows were all-consuming but Ta’Aal could feel His presence. It was like every sense of his was afire with energy. The aura was almost physically present but the absence of light obfuscated Him.

“Y-y-yes Sir. I-I-I have a message we just received. It is puzzling because it comes from The Enemy. I had …”

“Show it to me.”

Suddenly there was a presence within his mind. The Emperor had used the link to access his memories. He was suddenly reliving his experience as he first heard the message.

“Sir, I have an incoming message. The signal is weak and hard to trace.”

“Play it for me.”

“Yes Sir.”

A flickering hologram of a man in a suit appeared within the Holotank. He seemed to be balding, middle aged, and seated at a large desk. There was a flag adorning the wall behind him. He spoke with a strange accent but through the wonders of the Translator, it was understandable.

"Greetings! I am the Cassiopeian President, George Huntingsworth. We are a humble Commonwealth comprising of a system of eight planets. All different in their forms and all beautiful. We are a large people, comprising of almost three billion humans. Well, large to us we don't know to you, the recipiant. Thank you and good day."

Nhur-Galladu retreated from the mind of Ta’Aal and chuckled.

“It seems there either have been some changes or this is another nation that has been soiled by the Cassiopeian Empire. Send an envoy to make sure there is nothing associated between the old Empire and this Commonwealth. Report the findings immediately.”

“Yes your Highness”

Several hours later:

A vortex tore reality wide open and a small ship was spat out. The flier darted away from the closing wormhole and approached the planet. A single message was sent to the planet below.

This is Anthony Stark from the Balrogga Empire. I am requesting permission to land in response to the message you recently sent.

The Stiletto Flier held position waiting for a response.

"Oh s***!"

Station 12 was another HALO 2 esque station orbitting the wonderful planet that is Rosanica. The Captain there was new, and his assistant could be considered the most Woody Allen esque character, ever. Seriously. The Captain ran to his assistant, who was looking at some large stereotypical giant screen thing.

The assistant started to babble. "And it was like whoa! And there was like an arrow and a hole and a-"

The Captain smacked his assistant. "Just play the bloody video!"

It showed the Balroggan vessel ripping apart time and space, obviously the Captain was surprised. "Oh s***!" He shouted. "Err well, do we know what kind of ship it?"

A man overlooking a fancy console thing shouted to the Captain. "Captain we don't know its classification, it's unknown! But they did send a message."

"Play it!"

This is Anthony Stark from the Balrogga Empire. I am requesting permission to land in response to the message you recently sent.

The Captain sighed. "Looks like they wanna land. Must be another foreigner who picked up the message. Blegh, well they say they're an Empire so obviously we should let them land before they destroy us. Right, send two CF-7s to escort the... thing. I'll send 'em a message."

He cleared his throat.

This is Captain John Doe of Cassiopeian Station 12, you are cleared to dock in Bay C, two fighters will be escorting you to the Station. Also we request that no weapons are brought into the station itself, a Government official will speak with you shortly.

The Captain pfffted. "Pffft." See? "This'll be the end of us."

The Stiletto Flier (http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v248/beldragos/StilettoShuttle.jpg) held position until the message was received.

This is Anthony Stark. You don’t have to worry about weapons; the flier is not equipped with them. I also don’t carry personal firearms. It would not be prudent for a diplomat to enter one’s home armed.

I will wait for the fighter escort to arrive and I will follow them to Bay C.

Thank you for your assistance.

OOC:

If you wish, take control of the flier and have it land. This will give you a chance to describe your station/planets if you wanted.

Two CF-7s (http://upload.wikimedia.org/wikipedia/en/a/a9/WolfenSFA.png) approached the Stiletto Flyer slowly. A green beam came out of one of the fighter's noses, moving around and whatnot. "Don't worry." The pilot said. "We're only scanning, the station is too far away to do a good scan so we have to do it. Followin' orders."

"Heh." The other pilot said. "You're quite a bit far from the last guy. Hell he was quite close to the station, you, heh. What was that guy... err, Juan told me it was ah...'

The first pilot cleared his throat. "New Dornalia or somethin' or other. Bunch of reds they are. Anyway the scan is done." He paused. "Beautiful planet eh? Usually I'm stuck patrolling the asteroid belt that divides the Commonwealth, lots of crime and vice down there. Usually I have to take down the pirates. It's bad, because these are military grade starfighters you know. We can't be patrolling a bunch of mines."

The second pilot rolled his eyes. "Aren't we supposed to escort the shuttle?"

The first pilot paused. "Right. Follow us."

The three ships started flying towards the planet. They were a bit far so they could see the many HALO 2esque space stations. "Hmph." The first pilot said. "I got my training in those thar stations. My partner here is getting training too, this is a test for him right now. Eh? I'm picking up something on scanners."

Out of the horizon three transports (http://upload.wikimedia.org/wikipedia/en/f/ff/GR-75_Transport.jpg) came towards the three ships.

"Hey!" The second pilot said. "They're transports!"

The first pilot mumbled. "This is Red 19, what is your call sign over?"

The leader of the convoy responded. "This is Group 11 to Red 19, we're heading over to a Cassiopeian Colony, we request escort over."

The first pilot mumbled. "I'll do it, these colonies are being raided alot these days." The first pilot pulled away and joined the escort.

The second pilot cleared his throat. "Hmph. Well, let's go."

And thus they cruised towards le magical space station and stuff, and well it was glorious and I got pie out of it and well I'm running out of filler to fill so there, pwned. Oh and they landed. When they did land, the Foreign Minister was waiting for them at the Bay. He was not flanked by guards, since he didn't get that special treatment.

"Hmph." Said Robert. "Let's see what this guy looks like." Oh and he was wearing a suit also.

The Stiletto Flier settled about 3 inches above the floor and hovered. The side of the hull melted and formed three independently hovering steps. The newly exposed door slid open and a 40-something man stepped out, the steps settling slightly as he used them. He was dressed in a typical leisure suit of dark charcoal coloring and he carried a briefcase. He turned to the Flier for a second. The door slid shut.

Facing the waiting crowd of three, he waited for them to approach him, assuming it would be more polite to wait to be welcomed than to intrude on any possible customs the Commonwealth possessed in these situations.

Robert cleared his throat and approached the man.

"Welcome to the Station. I hope your flight was pleasurable. My name is Robert Yearsly, I'm the Foreign Minister for the Cassiopeian Commonwealth. Now, do you mind if negotiations take place here in the Bay?" He cleared his throat.

Two soldiers brought metal foldable chairs for Robert and the man to sit on. Robert sat on his. "Have a seat." He paused. "I have many questions so I'll just put them out there. Where do you come from? We've certainly never seen a ship around here. Also, what are your intentions and what can you offer the Commonwealth. Plus we don't even have your name. Of course I hope I don't sound overbearing, but we've never even had intersystem relations with foreign enteties before."

"Welcome to the Station. I hope your flight was pleasurable. My name is Robert Yearsly, I'm the Foreign Minister for the Cassiopeian Commonwealth. Now, do you mind if negotiations take place here in the Bay?" He cleared his throat.

“Hello, I am Anthony Stark, diplomatic envoy for the Balrogga Empire. By all means, any place to talk peaceably is better than having to resort to using battlefield conditions to do the talking. So many nations just don’t take the common sense into account now days.”

The professor took the offered seat.

“Well, to start out the Balrogga Empire is a nation that started our on a small planet that was overcrowded with too many nations. That is why we decided to expand out instead of staying on the planet. Over the next several hundred years we have steadily explored and expanded into unclaimed territories. We recently within the last 300 years began to expand into other galaxies. We…”

The professor waited a few minutes for the sound of the incoming freighter to subside to a low roar so he could be heard.

“We have decided to answer your call for a couple reasons. The first is to establish contact between our two nations. And second, to find out if you are affiliated in any way with another nation that called itself The Cassiopeian Galaxy. The Cassiopeian Empire was a ruthless nation that constantly invaded other nations and even galaxies. It was to the point several other nations had to hunt them down to eliminate the Threat to peace. The Balrogga Empire had fought with them many times in the past and had thought the threat eliminated.”

Anthony paused again to let the engines from another craft die down to tolerable levels.

“I will not sugar coat anything but those guys were not liked for a reason. Suddenly when everyone thought they were gone, you suddenly pop up on the radar. The similarities in names warranted at least someone to check things out.”

Anthony looked around at the hanger and the ships.

“I can see from your basic ship types that you have a different build to your vessels. Your architecture also seems to be vastly different from theirs. From all appearances, I cannot see a connection between your two nations. That is good.”

“You wanted to know what we could offer the Commonwealth. How about access to over a hundred other nations and their markets? You could easily be only ten minutes away from another trade system.”

Start reached down and picked up his briefcase. He set it on his lap and opened it, retrieving a padd. He closed the case and set it on the floor again. He punched some data into the padd and handed it over to Robert.

“The Balrogga Empire set up a network of wormholes and designated it to only being used for trade. The details are in there for you to read.”

Anthony sat back in his chair to give Robert time to read the data.

OOC:

The data on the padd is basically the first post of this Thread.

Robert got a confused look on his face. "We were err... unaware another Cassiopeia existed. Rest assured we were never, ever, an Empire and in all probability won't become one. We are a large Republic, who happens to use the term commonwealth because quote it makes us sound important unquote." He shrugged. "Quite vain on our part hm?"

He paused. As Anthony stated that the ships were quite different. "Yes they are different aren't they? We have quite the mix in the Cassiopeian Star Navy. We have I think fifty different companies that provide us with military hardware, so you'll like see a mix if you ever see a fleet in formation."

He took Anthony's note pad and his eyes widened. "Wormholes...? I thought they were quite unstable. Why with these we can get, well, anything. Hm and look at all these names." He said to himself. "Of course this could lead to attack from hostile forces, but they do say that it's protected still..."

He cleared his throat. "It'd take Senate approval for such a thing but we'd be glad to join this hub... thing. Of course all we have to offer are minerals but I'm sure you can find anything in the Belt, I know we did."

Robert nodded. "But other then a trade hub is there anything else you can offer?"

Anthony seemed to be relieved when Robert explained about them not being associated in any way with the old empire.

“That is very good news indeed. I will report this to my superiors with great glee.”

“I hope you will consider the ITH as one of your possibilities but it is not required. I am just letting you know of its existence to further your trade. Take whatever time you need to make your decision and get all the details from the ITH you will need. An informed decision is a wise decision. Just let them know when you decide to have your system added to the Registry.”

“It is true wormholes are normally unstable but they can be stabilized. I won’t bore you with the technological details but it is certainly possible.”

“What else can we offer you? I am not sure. I don’t know enough about you to even know where to start. What do you need?”

OOC:

I am counting the Commonwealth as a completely separate entity from the old empire. I feel that is the best way to go about it. That might be a good path for Septh to take for the time being too.
The Cassiopeia Galaxy
30-06-2006, 04:03
Robert pondered. "Well... I don't remember whether I mentioned it before, but we have thousands upon thousands of minerals. I don't know if you noticed it but there is a massive, massive asteroid belt which we call, the Cassiopeian Belt. It was the first thing our ancestors saw really."

He cleared his throat. "But my point is, we have any mineral you could think of. Metals, gases, semi gases, semi metals, we even found liquids once or twice but that was more of a freak accident, but I won't get into that. In fact, you see the freighter that just landed? It comes from a mining colony within the belt. Its headed by the Royal Mining Company, we're not really royal but again it's a matter of vanity." He rolled his eyes.

He paused. "... if you want I'm sure you could receive a tour of a Government owned facility, though the Belt is also a haven for pirates so you'd need an escort. But I'm sure two of our pilots wouldn't mind."

A pilot overhearing this conversation looked at his starfighter, another CF-7. Why do I have a feeling it's going to be going into that hellhole? He thought to himself.

"Or." Robert continued as the pilot thought his thoughtful thought. "You could go home, but I promise you that our mining facilities are quite impressive, they're top of the line. Now I don't know what is top of the line where you come from, but most of the facilties in the Belt are quite good. If anything you could always mine here yourself. Again it's your choice."

He shrugged. "If anything you can go on your own ship, but we can try and get you on a transport too."

(I'm hoping a good RP can come out of this suggestion. There can be pirates that go YARR and stuff, I'll start the thread too, and I won't try to kill of Anthony either. >_>)

The CSS Umlaut (http://upload.wikimedia.org/wikipedia/en/5/54/Lancer_Frigate.jpg) was on its usual patrol route. Of course most of the crew didn't really know why the patrols were needed. Nevertheless they did what they were ordered, the Ministry of Defence doesn't play that. Of course it was going to be another ordinery day, or so they thought.

The Captain was one of those Academy men, they technically had the readiness to be a Captain but experience is always better. His first mate, meanwhile, can be likened to that veteran gruff who for some reason couldn't be promoted, but had enough experience to be the Admiral of his own BattleFleet. But alas it wasn't mean to be, he might've as well retire but enough of that. It was another regular day, the Captain was looking out the window and the lowly ensigns around him were working the computers, when, all of a sudden.

"Oh s***!"

The Captain, surprised, turned around towards the ensign. "Ensign, what is your situation?"

"Twelve unknown ships, heavily armed, Dreadnaught size."

The Captain's eyes widened. "Oh s***!" He shouted, and then because of the enourmous surprise, he fainted.

The First Mate, keeping quiet and witnessing the events, sighed. He walked over to the communications console. "This is the First Mate of the CSS Umlaut, unknown vessels you are in Cassiopeian territory, state your reasoning for being here. Respond."

"Cassiopeia Commonweath? Sounds similar yet different to the Empire version." Hokage Tsunade, the one member of the High Council that was not tied down in trying to escape from the Seige of Jurai, muttered. "Might as well investigate and if nothing else, open relations with them. Shizune! Send word to the Diplomatic Corps! I want them to send a delegate to this nation known as the Cassiopeia Commonweath!"

"Yes, Hokage-sama!" The secretary/former apprentice-nin of the Hokage replied humbly and fired off orders to that effect.

Two hours later, a delegation shuttle consisting of Jedi Knight Catherine Gails and two assistants popped out of hyperspace in a flash of light and sent a message.

Greetings. We are delegates from the Imperial Republic of Coreworlds and we would like to establish diplomatic relations with you.

Station 3 was the one who would pick up the foreign vessel this time. Since they were close they took the time to scan this vessel. The Captain of this station looked at the vessel. Hm. He thought. There's something eerily familiar about this starship, hmph. He cleared his throat. "Looks like they sent a message, Ensign play it for me."

Greetings. We are delegates from the Imperial Republic of Coreworlds and we would like to establish diplomatic relations with you.

The Captain raised his right brow. "An Imperial Republic? Kids these days, well they're not armed." He leaned over to the communications button thing. "This is the Captain of Cassiopeian Station 3 to Republican vessel, you are cleared to land in Bay C. All weapons and alcohol are to be kept within the ship, there will be a Diplomat waiting for you to commence negotiations. Thank you and enjoy your stay in Commonwealth space."

He paused. "I knew those diplomats were gonna come in useful."

Meanwhile the CSS Umlaut's First Mate twitched. He turned towards the ensigns. "Anybody know something about a Cassiopeian Empire?"

Silence.

The First Mate shrugged. "That's what I thought." He then decided to speak to the angry patrol group. "Acendent Fury, this is the CSS Umlaut. We have never heard of a Cassiopeian Empire. Now we request that your fleet leave Cassiopeian space. If you wish to commence diplomatic relations with the Commonwealth you are to come in an unarmed shuttle, in fact if you come back we'll personally escort your shuttle. But we will not let a fleet enter Cassiopeian space. Now, please leave."

"Your welcome." Catherine replied. Her first impression: Much more competent than the Cassiopeian Empire. Definitely a different feel.

The Consular-class cruiser swiftly docked with Bay C and after leaving all weapons including lightsabers on board, the delegate and assistants walked down to meet her counterpart.

The Jedi Knight was swathed in traditional clothes and her hood was lowered, revealing stringy brown hair and soft brown eyes. Her build, while slight, suggested an aura of both authority and humility, an odd mix for a diplomat. Her two assistants, both young teenagers, carried datapads to take notes and everything.

Another shuttle appeared out of hyperspace. This time, it was a Lambda-class Imperial shuttle, so the delegation is clearly representing the Galactic Empire. It too was unarmed, at least to cursory scanners.

Greetings. I am Captain Adar, delegation from the Galactic Empire. The Empire has taken notice of your new nation and wish for an audience with you.

Station 3 was to get this shuttle also. They were to dock it in the same Bay. Right next to their Jedi enemies. Oh how cruel is this life hm? The Captain, blissfully unaware of the current tensions, decided to scan the shuttle. He was surprised the amount of weaponry inside, aka the Stormtroopers.

The Captain cleared his throat. "Imperial vessel, we notice a large amount of armed men inside. We request that all weaponry is kept inside. Currently we have visitors from another land in Bay C, but since that is the only Bay where foreign vessels may dock, you have been cleared to land. Another diplmat is being flown in by a nearby station, and negotiations will commence between our respective nations. Welcome to Commonwealth space."

Meanwhile a man in a suit entered the bay flanked by two soldiers. They looked like they could be American soldiers, but of course with a more futuristic feel. They were carrying what looked like E-11 Blasters, but they aren't! Really!

The man approached the Jedi. "Welcome to Rosanica." He said warmly as he shook his hand. "I'm John Goering, I'm part of the Foreign Ministry. I hope your ride was well." He paused observing the strange dress of the Jedi. "My if were going to be casual I would've come in a shirt and jeans!" He chuckled. He then looked at the two teenagers taking notes. "You brought kids? Well I'm sorry but this is a military base, I wish there was something more to do.... maybe they could look at the HoloNet, I heard the Imperial Light Orchestra is performing now live across the system."

He cleared his throat. "Anyway, I'll let you speak now."

"Ah. I understand." The captain replied. But as soon as he entered, he stiffened for the ship already there is no other than one used by the wretched Jedi! But he relaxed again. You are a diplomat. The Emperor will not be pleased if you botch the meeting. "Corporal. Stay with the ship. There will be no conflict with the Jedi today."

"Ah...yes sir." The Corporal, in standard Stormtrooper white armor, replied. Even though he was conditioned to obey orders, the sight of a Jedi still alive made his blood boil. Only training stopped him from making a fatal mistake.

The Captain, unarmed, stepped down from the shuttle with two honor guards, also unarmed.

Meanwhile a man in a suit entered the bay flanked by two soldiers. They looked like they could be American soldiers, but of course with a more futuristic feel. They were carrying what looked like E-11 Blasters, but they aren't! Really!

Catherine smiled at the delegate. "These are my traditional clothes. I am Jedi Knight Catherine Gails and these are my two assistants Valin and Rachel. I assure you that they are not just children, but training to become diplomats as well. After all, we Coredians start young."

She glanced at the Emperor's Delegate and gave no outward sign of apprehension. Good control. The assistants, however, still had much to learn as their faces are visibly apprehensive upon seeing the Captain step forward.

"How nice to meet the Jedi again." The captain nodded to them with a poker smile. "And I am Captain Adar, as you know. Shall we get on with the negotiations?"

John nodded. "Jedi? What are Jedi? Excuse my ignorance, well I hope we can get started. Let's start with your nation and what they can offer us. I'm quite interested to learn about this Jedi you speak of."

"How nice to meet the Jedi again." The captain nodded to them with a poker smile. "And I am Captain Adar, as you know. Shall we get on with the negotiations?"

John shook the Captain's hand. "Welcome, Captain. I'm very sorry that you had to come in the middle of other negotiations. But the other Diplomat should be coming soon."

All of a sudden a ring. "Err." John said. "I have a call." He took out a cell phone, but it was a futuristic cell phone! "What do you mean he has to be delayed?!" He shouted. "What? Traffic jam? How the hell is there a traffic jam in space!? His shuttle lost an engine? Agh, how long till he arrives here? What do you mean three hours?! I have an Imperial officer standing right next to me expecting negotiations and I'm already talking to something called a Jedi. Can't he go to the other station? An hour?! But Station 4 is nearby! Bureucracy? Blegh. Fine." He hanged up.

John, embarassed, took the Captain aside. "Um, Captain Adar, it appears there's some sort of snag. The diplomat is in a bit of trouble, and well it's politics. Very sorry. You'll have to have negotiations in Station 4, but it'll take an hour for the bureaucracy to get things handled, you know how it is with paperwork. You know what I'll be right back and see if I can rush things along."

He turned to Catherine. "Very sorry I'll be right back."

And thus John and his guards left, leaving the two enemies alone inside the Bay. Oh my.

"Very well." The Jedi nodded. "Wouldn't the Emperor be unhappy if he didn't have Jedi skulls on his desk?"

"True enough, but we're both in another nation's space. It pays to be polite, after all." The Captain replied.

"Yes, it does." Catherine decided to allow him a small smile. A bit of small talk continued while the assistants relaxed a bit and headed back to the ship to wait out the hour.

Within the station, a strange orb of light began to form. It grew in size until it was about the size of an average person, and the light it produced was almost blinding. Streaks of energy shot from its core like lightening, apparently not causing any harm to the surroundings but only making the special effect look high budget. As the energy ball stopped growing, a quiet whining sound could be heard from within as it stabilised. And it simply hovered there, glowing and whining and doing little else of interest. A strange smell reminiscent of ozone began to disperse around it.

It was a portal. From somewhere on the other side, a loud, echoing voice could be heard. The voice was clearly spoken by an alien, though it was in a universal language that most could understand.

"To you from us, greetings. We witnessed your interstellar soundwaves with great... adulation. From this portal yonder, we wish to send one of us to speak with one of you, and give you more personal greetings. We await, for your permission."

The voice from within the portal stopped, and the portal simply hovered there, waiting a response.

Assuming the Captain agreed to go to Station 4 on his ship, the Lambda shuttle landed safely and without harm. Waiting for him was the Station's diplomat, William Featherson, was in a suit. Flanking him was nobody, he refused to get an escort since quite frankly he didn't care for soldiers. Chairs were already set up, as William was standing next to his. He approached Adar. "I'm very sorry for the incident, our apologies." He shook his hand. "Have a seat." He said as he sat down. "Tell me your story."

Meanwhile in Station 3 John tilted his head in amusement. "Elves and demons? Hm, and I thought they didn't exist. A Republic with an Emperor, how strange. And what is this thing about Jedi? What is a Jedi?"

Meanwhile in the same station in another Bay, aka where the pilots land, they were quite surprised by the portal.

"Erm." One pilot said. "Should we shoot it?"

"No!" Another, younger, pilot said. "Don't you see the movies? Everytime somebody shoots an energy lightform, it becomes angry and tries to take over the Universe. No... it did want somebody. But we'll need somebody higher ranked."

Coincidentally the Captain of the Station walked in the middle of the mess. He saw the portal and was confused. "What's that in the middle of the room?"

The pilots looked at themselves mischevously.

"Hm?"

One minute later... "Hey! Put me down! I'm your Captain I'll have you court martialed! Hey, you're not gonna throw me in there? Do not throw me in there, oh mah gawds, no! No!"

"Wait!" A pilot shouted. "They wanted to send somebody here."

"Oh." Another pilot said. He shouted towards the portal as they put the Captain down. "Right come on in!"

“I will accept your invitation and I think the tour would be enjoyable. When would you like to do this?”

Let’s have fun with the tour. I can either take my ship or I can go in one of yours. My ship is not armed at all. The only weapon there is the character himself. If you wanted to make the tour in a separate Thread so it doesn’t clutter this one just link me and I will join in.

He walked over to the pilot. "Excuse me sir, but we need this ship. Government business."

The pilot was taken aback. "What?!" He said. "Government business or not, this is the Company's ship. We need this ship. I have tons of shipments to get and bring back. The Company depends on me, the lowly pilot, to bring this stuff back. Now unless my supervisor tells me that I, pilot of this freighter, can lend this ship to you, Government official, I can't do anything. And there is nothing you can do to change my mind."

"I'll pay you whatever you want."

"Right come on in!"

The sound waves from the pilot's rather loud mouth were sucked into the portal, and they were transported to another dimension in the blink of an eye. They reached the ears of a Vortigaunt, who stood on a floating green and pink rock in the mysterious world of Xen, awaiting the reply. He was certain that he had heard some kind of a fight just before the permission was granted but he thought nothing of it. He stepped forwards with his back-jointed legs and entered the portal.

With a flash of light the peculiar semi-humanoid creature appeared on the station at the other side, and the portal vanished behind him, leaving a mysterious silence. The lone Vortigaunt stepped forwards, his clawed, triangular feet tapping organically on the metal floor, and he looked at the people surrounding him, paying particular attention to one of them who seemed a little flustered. He blinked with his big red eye, placed his clawed, three-fingered hands together as though he was about to pray, and he bowed his head to them slowly.

"I heard your words across the void, and now this one comes to you," the creature said, in its strange, husky voice. "Humbled am I to be granted an audience in your presence. I am Vrrrka, and this one brings greetings to you from the Others."

The Vortigaunt looked up again when he had finished talking, eying the people before him curiously.

Vrrrka returned the stares of the edgy pilots, who seemed fidgety and taken aback by his perfectly regular appearance through an interdimensional portal. He squinted at them briefly, before turning the attentions of his bright red eye to the one who seemed to be in charge. The 'Captain' spoke with an uneasy voice, as though he were frightened or confused by something. Vrrrka, perhaps? It seemed unlikely, Vrrrka thought to himself. He was frequently hailed as a handsome specimen of normality, certainly compared to these quaint, pale-skinned creatures. He assumed that it must be something to do with whatever noise he had heard through the portal before, and ignored the odd behaviour.

"Clearly we saw, those ones of Cassiopeia old, propagating grief and depravity to all corners of the endless void of time and space. Severing the cords of beings far and wide," Vrrrka blurted, almost angrily, before calming. "We see you still, but no longer as you were. Are you harbingers of new hope, and jubilation? Or do you merely wear a mask, to hide your darker, truer nature? The way ahead is dark for the moment. Into this darkness, we choose the path of optimism... and with us, we bring you greetings. This one extends to you a hand of friendship and communion. We are the same, if only you choose to see it."

The Captain listened intently to Vrrrka's words. He was amazed how intricate his way of speak was, he was quite humbled. Especially by his manners, a man who could obliterate us in a second was being well... nice. The Captain, with more authority, started to speak. "I assure you, the Cassiopeian Commonwealth is everything but imperialist. The most we have expanded is within our system and the planets were unihabited. We just seek peaceful relations with the other folks of the Universe. Unfortunately, Captains and other officers can only sign agreements when there are extreme circumstances, this is not an extreme circumstance so err..."

All of a sudden a small pod like shuttle entered the Bay. Why it was the Diplomat who was late! He hopped off quickly, looking disheveld his suit dirty, and his hair disgusting. Obviously something bad happened. He rushed to the Captain.

"Captain! I'm very sorry! There was an accident and well, it involved nitrogen and a banana. But the point is I'm here now so where's the Imperial I'm supposed to talk too?"

The Captain cleared his throat and pointed towards Vrrrk's direction. "The Imperial left but um, we have a lovely foreign friend that would love to initiate diplomacy with out lovely Commonwealth."

The Diplomat smiled and then saw Vrrrk's different form. He was shocked to say the least, but you could barely tell. He shook the form's hand and started speaking. "Hello, I hope your ride was pleasent." He was completely ignorant of the portal. "My name is William Shakespeare." No relation to the English playwright that brought us classics such as Romeo and Juliet, Macbeth, and Othello. "I work with the Foreign Ministry. If you want to speak about relations with Cassiopeia, you speak to me."

He paused. "Err... where exactly do you come from anyway?"

This is Supreme System Lord Ra, on a mission of diplomacy to your esteemed and noble state. Respond.

Station 31 would be the Station to pick up and see this message. Of course it wasn't the only station to see the Mothership. They were shocked to see its massive size. Obviously they didn't get the memo: unarmed ships only. Personnel were going back and forth delivering messages. After a few minutes Station 31 had to ask.

The Captain was quite fidgety mind you.

"This is the Captain of Station 31 to System Lord Ra. Your Mothership is deep within Cassiopeian space and we must request that it stay far from the Capital. If you plan diplomatic relations with the Commonwealth you are cleared to land on the station in an unarmed small shuttlecraft in Bay C, over."

Meanwhile as the Captain spoke soldiers from around the station bearing their E-11s rushed towards Bay C, they were quite paranoid about an invasion. Sure it might be a bad first impression but... meh.

I understand your caution in this matter. I will comply with your request. I will bring no armed guards, and will arrive in a cargo shuttle in the specified bay.

The small, squat ship was quite different from what Ra was used to travelling in, but sacrifices had to be made. In the course of his fall from grace, he had to learn to compromise. No more could he simply threaten and extort his way through life.

When the ship landed, Ra stepped out dressed in rediculously complicated robes, flanked by two unarmed Horus Guards. He noted the armed guards with some admiration.

"I am the System Lord Ra. I must speak with someone of sufficient rank."

With a small gesture of his hand, the two guards returned to his shuttle.

The soldiers, about twenty of them, relaxed their guard. They realized they had the leader where they wanted. They had no need to worry about security so they went on their way, of course two or three stayed to provide security. Oh and there were already some foldable metal chairs set up. We like those.

The Diplomat entered the bay. He was a bit darker then most Cassiopeians, of course he was wearing a suit. He approached the heavily robed man, his face showing a bemused look.

Mah gosh the people wanting to have negotiations with Cassiopeia get strange and stranger.

He shook Lord Ra's hand. "Hello, I'm the Diplomat for this station. I'm Pablo Norweiga. If you want to establish diplomatic connections you are going to have to speak to me for now. Though, I have three question, so I apologize if I offend you. One, who are you? Two, why is there a massive ship outside Rosanica, our capital? Three, what do you want from the Commonwealth and what can you offer us?"

He sat down on the chair. "I'd really like some answers if you don't mind."

William nodded. "Ah, yes we've heard of this Cassiopeian Empire... quite a hassal with us trying to get relations with other Governments. Well, I'm glad your Emperor is interested in us. Well with that, why don't you tell me what the Empire has to offer?"
"What we offer is this: we offer lucrative trade and possibly alliance agreements between our two entities. If an alliance is not likely, a peace treaty to exchange embassies will suffice. It should be a good beginning for us."

As soon as the object started levitating a few of the soldiers pointed their rifles at the Jedi, ignorant as what was going on.

"Settle down!" John shouted. Of course he was a bit surprised as well, but he had a bit more training when dealing with surprises. "Sorry, they're not used to... that. So a Jedi is basically a warrior with powers? Interesting. We don't have that, we just have... rifles. Well it's worked for us so far. Either way, it's very interesting. But to the point, is there anything you have to offer the Commonwealth?"
Catherine nodded. "Of course. I am empowered to offer you a trade agreement with the Coredian markets and a treaty of peace to cement our two nations' meeting today. We also wish to exchange ambassadors."

Pablo raised his right eyebrow. He looked at the strange dressed man. He surely did look familiar, but he couldn't pick it up. He then leaned to the side looked at the massive starship which was visible from the Bay. He blinked to make sure he was still sane.

"Perhaps then, we shared in a dream," Vrrrka said simply, looking up again. "That which we see, is not always incontrovertible."

He span around, startled as a shuttle entered the room, depositing an unusual who-man on the deck of the large area. The man looked like he'd just had a run in with a nest of snarks, and it looked like the snarks had won out. Vrrrka was always unsure of what was 'acceptable' amongst these creatures, but compared to the other ones this one seemed scruffy and unkempt. He mentioned something about an accident with a banana -- what is this, 'banana', and how powerful must it be to cause such disarray?

The clearly disturbed creature regarded Vrrrka for a moment or two, before speaking its many words. Its name seemed oddly familiar to Vrrrka, but he couldn't quite place it.

"My journey was expeditious," Vrrrka said to the messy diplomat, looking him up and down briefly. "I dare not question how your own journey transpired."

The diplomat then asked another, pertinent question, to which Vrrrka was unsure of how to answer. Where was he from?

"We are but visitors, from the infinite borderworlds of Xen. Driven from our home by despicable interlopers," Vrrrka said, after a pause. "Endless lands devoid of time or boundaries. Now devoid of us. We persist on a leviathan, elsewhere in this plane of existence you call home. Its location is a mystery to this one. But there is no distance between us."

A small device attatched to Ra's robes made a deeply annoying beeping sound, stopping only after Ra made a quick hand gesture over it. A beam projected the face of a concerned looking Jaffa.

"My Lord, we have detected an incoming hyperspace craft. It is large, and heavily armed. I suspect a trap, your Lordship."

"Mai'tac! I must leave this place now!"

On the word 'now', Ra's eyes flashed menacingly in the way that the eyes of a host tend to.
Upsetting his chair, he turned and walked at a fairly brisk pace toward the ramp of his shuttle, his face showing more contempt than is usual, and that's a lot of contempt.

"Activate the shield, prepare for my arrival. Have the glider pilots ready to launch at the first sign of agression from this new ship, but do not fire the first shot."

He paused. "Maybe if you told us the history of the Empire it'd speed the Senate up to have some facts."
"It's quite a history." The Captain smiled. "A hundred years ago, the corrupt Old Republic was swept away by then-Chancellor Palpatine, who subsequently became the Emperor, and rules still. For a time, we ruled with an iron, yet fair hand, ensuring peace and security to all peoples under our banner. However, a Rebellion sprang up by people who...objected to some of our policies and simply went overboard in their actions and overthrew the Empire. But so resilent the Empire was that it managed to survive the Rebellion's squabbling and regained power about fifty years ago. Now, it rules once more, and the only people that stand in our way, are the Jedi Knights."

Contempt etched those last words. Contempt for Force-damned, lightsaber-wielding fools.

John's eyes lit up. Markets for the win. He was a little less hesitant about relations with the Republic. "Well of course, we can take care of that in an instant." He said. "Of course the Senate would have to vote but I'm sure it'd be fast"

William intently listened to Vrrrk speak, quite frankly, he was a bit lost. Nevermind that though. He was a diplomat! He was trained to have an infinite poker face and goshdernit he will. He will have it hard and to the extreme, and that's extreme.

Unfortunately he failed.

William opened his mouth to speak, then closed it. He was looking for the right words obviously. "Ummm.... Xen hm? I see, well I certainly feel bad. We Cassiopeians have never been run out of our Homeworld, but we can certainly try to imagine, and we can bet that quite frankly it's horrible. Well, first of all the Commonwealth is humbled at your attempts at diplomacy and we hope that we can satisfy you also. But now we have to go that question that is probably cliched by now, what do you have to offer and what do you want from us?"

He sighed. "You know it had to be asked sometime."

The Diplomat's right eyebrow raised. "The sarcophagus certainly looks... interesting. But err, the men? I'm sorry but I don't think the Commonwealth would approve. I'm sure the sarcophagus might be accepted more but still... again, this is a Republic after all."

On the word 'now', Ra's eyes flashed menacingly in the way that the eyes of a host tend to. Upsetting his chair, he turned and walked at a fairly brisk pace toward the ramp of his shuttle, his face showing more contempt than is usual, and that's a lot of contempt.

The Diplomat fell back towards the floor, suddenly surprised. He had no idea what was going on. Though the rallying call went throughout the sector of the planet.

"All pilots report to hanger! Possible threat incoming, I repeat all pilots report to hanger and take off."

All of a sudden fifty CF-7s, which look like Wolvens coincidently, appeared from their respective station. They all flew towards the Ha'tek Mothership, with the speed of an X-Wing. A message went out. "This is Blue Leader to large mothership, we heard there is a threat approaching. We are here to help you, I repeat we are here to help you."

Obviously they hope that they're not the threat and they misunderstand.

The Ha'tak recieved the message, and acted accordingly.

"We will not fire on your ships."

The compliment of Death Gliders was already launching, moving around inside the shields of the mothership in loose formation, hoping to retain the protection provided by the barrier for as long as possible.

"My Lord Ra, we are recieving data on the incoming craft. Many energy weapon emplacements studded along the hull. There appears to be a sizeable fighter compliment, and much space to hold boarding parties."

"Do we have any information on what designation this ship has?"

"Apparently it is called a 'super star destroyer', immaculate lordship. A class of ship with a fearsome reputation, capable of fighting a standard Ha'tak to a standstill easily."

"Sheril' nocin... Are the Eyes in place?"

The fifty CF-7s started circling the Mothership as to protect it. They saw the Death Gliders fly out of the Mothership. Then they saw the Mothership itself. Most of them got feelings of Deja Vu and familiarity but they shrugged it off. But then, all of a sudden...

... a massive fleet appeared. It was in fact the 1st Fleet of Cassiopeia (http://forums2.jolt.co.uk/showthread.php?p=11309165#post11309165) that had gotten the alert and was kind enough to arrive. Plus, it was docking at a station. In fact it's really more of a coincidence but that's besides the point. They arrived right on top of the Ha'Tek Mothership. Their fighter force of about 1,000 launching from the escort carriers. Now there were hundreds of CF-7s flying. All for the defence of some some crazy Egyptianesque ship they've never seen before.

The Grand Admiral of the Fleet, a Mark Hammel, spoke up. "This is Grand Admiral Mark Hammel of the CNS Ilyanov to besieged mothership. We picked up your distress notice and we are now launching fighters to help secure yourself. If you want you can escape right now and we can try to attack this... thing. Also we'd appreciate intelligence on this thing, if you have any."

He paused. "I smell a war coming on..." He then sent a message to all of the stations. "This is the CNS Ilyanov, unknown hostile dreadnaught approaching. All fighters launch, all foreign diplomats go home or go to the surface before you are taken by the battle. If you want to call for reinforcement we'd be forever your ally. Nevertheless, FIND SAFETY."

He then sent a message to the incoming Dreadnaught that by now he could see on the RADAR thingy. "Incoming ship, we demand that you stop. We demand that no attacks happen on anything orbitting Rosanica. We can work this out." He paused. "Are you hostile or not?"

(Oh no you're not running, you think I want a giant flying dagger and a floating pyramid fighting outside my capital? Heck no. Seph please let's not go to war... especially in mah intro thread! Geez. I wish I was notified.)

Mark read the plans of the Super Star Destroyer. It was quite a big ship he thought, a ship that he didn't know could be built. The ships of the fleet started doing a collective scan. Quite frankly the Captains, the Admirals, and all those inbetween were pissing their pants. The order went through.

"All fighters stick with the fleet." The Grand Admiral communicated. "The fighter complement might be too hard to handle for the frigates. Green group stick of O87!" He paused. "Deja vu.... anyway." He opened a channel to the mysterious, in their eyes, Super Star Destroyer. "Super Star Destroyer, we ask that you lay down your arms. Whatever you tried to attack has left, you are severely outnumbered and your destruction if you choose to attack is probable. Please, it needn't come to war."

The Grand Admiral looked at the view of the planet. Thankfully they were over the ocean, the complete ocean. He sighed. "If anybody crashes... at least nobody can get hurt."

The fleet was broadside of the SSD. The frigates ready to screen anything that comes its way. The fighters were ready to charge in or stay, it depended on the Grand Admiral. Though, this assuming the SSD attacks, and man I hope it doesn't.

The Corporation was always interested in opening diplomatic channels, among other things, with other nations and especially looked forward to those who actively sought a relationship with it. So obviously it came as no surprise that the transmission from the Cassiopeian Commonwealth was well received. Thus, almost immediately, the Alakantar O’Neill Carrier Battle Fleet was dispatched to a system near the Cassiopeian border carrying the two delegates aboard to meet with these people. Upon its arrival to that system, the vessels were cloaked so as to not attract any unneeded attention, and from there, a single F-302 fighter left the main battle carrier and entered into hyperspace.

Ten minutes later, the rather sleek fighter cruised out of hyperspace in Cassiopeian space. Although, to those who had the appropriate sensor equipment, it was now behaving rather erratically as it performed dozens of barrel rolls, heavy banking, and steep climbs and dives.

In the midst of this behavior, a message was sent out, text-only and quite straightforward.

You are cleared to land in Bay C. We see that you are unarmed and so are
cleared. Enjoy your stay.

Mark got exasperated. "Agggh! We don't need your help. Now look, your person arrived safely, or should've. But now I request that your entire fleet or whatever you have leave. We don't need, nor do we want your help in protecting the Commonwealth. Now, leave!"

Upon reception of the transmission, the grayish-blue fighter straightened its course out as no more erratic behavior was needed at this time…at least not yet…and cruised towards the space station at full throttle. The flight over remained relatively uninteresting as was the norm for such an event. But upon reaching the station, the fighter oddly cruised right past it then banked for a tight turn, slowing down slightly. Now it was facing the open hangar bay doors. With only a flick of a switch the landing gears slid out of their compartments underneath and locked into place. Then the engines were powered down so now the fighter craft was merely gliding along in space but still carrying the momentum from earlier. It took only a few seconds for it to bolt through the forcefield over the open hangar bay doors. It hit the metal floor hard throwing sparks when its wings scrapped against the floor and began to slide sideways as the pilot applied the brakes. Immediately the tires began to squeal, and rubber marks were melted onto the floor. Finally, amidst light smoke, the fighter came to a halt turned completely around facing the open doors.

A minute later the first person emerged from the cockpit and leapt the three meter distance down to the floor. An obsidian skinned elf with red eyes and long flowing white hair, he was obviously a Drow. His six foot figure stood near the fighter and, while he waited for the other member of the delegation, straightened out his rather medieval-looking clothes. Most, if not all, were made from a durable form of brown leather and even a flowing cape was hanging from his shoulders. He carried a few of his favored weapons with him including the daggers that were jutting out of his leather belt and a sword in its scabbard that was strapped to his back.

Next, the copilot rose up out of the fighter and carefully stepped down the grooves that were cut into the side of the spacecraft. He was also an elf but, instead, of Noldor descent. Upon reaching the floor, he adjusted his flowing tan robes slightly and knocked his shoes back into a more comfortable position. One would notice that unlike his colleague, he was totally unarmed. And he quickly joined up with him.

"We will certainly return. The unnecessary actions of one group of idiots won't blacken your people's reputation in the eyes of the System lords."

This first message was left unencoded, a message as much to the Sephrions as the friendlies in the area.

"Might I suggest you target the ractor bulge with your most powerful weapons? A truly appauling design oversight on the part of the designers of the flying dagger designs. Ra out."

Explain your foolish actions immediately and stand down. My ship obviously cannot destroy you, but our compliment of naquadriah-enhanced explosives says we can certainly cause significant damage.

William chuckled. "Just like cockroaches hm? Well maybe the Commonwealth can help you. You know, how do they look like and whatnot?"
"They tend to wear brown robes and light-khaki tunics, but thats getting to be rare these days. Nowadays, the main way to tell is when you shoot blasters and you find a laser sword batting the bolts back at you." Captain Adar said. "I do believe there's one Jedi on board this station. She'll be speaking with one of your diplomats right now."

John's eyes widened. "Oh my, an Imperial Officer in Cassiopeian space?! Do you want to go get him? Or should I just communicate this to the station's captain and capture him? I mean I'm sure you could need another dead captain in your fight against the Empire."

He stood up. "In fact, we can give you some Marines and you could personally capture him yourself. It's your choice."
"No. I do not wish to involve you in this war. Besides, we have a truce while this diplomacy lasts." Catherine shook her head. Not that I can trust the Captain as far as I can Force-throw him, but still, diplomacy is diplomacy.

The soldiers who were patrolling the Bay have never seen creatures such as those that stepped out before. Some where quite clearly observing them, others meanwhile did the whole one look and not look trick. You know you get one look and before the person notices you look away? Yah well they did that. Though they always notice that their looking. The small minority didn't really care, either because they were quite accepting or because they were looking at the rubber marks and dreading that they were going to clean it up. Though there were one or two soldiers looking at the craft. Really because of its... retroness. Though they just returned to patrolling the Bay and whatnot.

Then the Diplomat arrived. Flanking him... was nobody. There were already enough guards in the place darn it. That would just be overkill. He was dressed in a suit like most other Diplomats, but he preferred normal clothes. He walked towards them with a crooked smile, it was friendly but you wondered what the hell was inside his mind.

He approached the man with the eccentric mideviel clothing. "Hello!" He said with such enthusiasm. "My name is Bob Ross, I hope your flight to Rosanica wasn't bad. I see the asteroids didn't get you."

Thus started the rambling.

"That reminds me of that story. A freighter was travelling through the Belt, you might've seen it. And all of a sudden a massive asteroid just crashed through it out nowhere. There was blood and guts and I think there were a few bodies that were floating. Yes it was a terrible sight. When I was a Senator I suggested we eat them, I was condemned because apparently it was quote unethical unquote. Well either way I think it was a good idea, still do."

He paused. "So, where do you come from? What's your story hm?"

Mark snorted over the communications. "A mining colony?!" He started laughing over the intercom, and soon the entire fleet could be heard laughing via public intercom. They were quite amused by the GSSD's gall. "You enter our system with a massive ship, you refuse to leave, and now you're requesting a colony? The only way you'll grab it from us is from force or when your kind learn how to behave better. And I assume it'll have to be the latter because your ship is outnumbered 60 to 1."

He paused. "Now then. If you could kindly remove your ships away from our Commonwealth and send a small unarmed shuttle, then we can talk. If not, well..." He cleared his throat.

"Sir!" A communications officer shouted. "A message!"

"Might I suggest you target the ractor bulge with your most powerful weapons? A truly appauling design oversight on the part of the designers of the flying dagger designs. Ra out."

Mark got a smirk on his face and sent a reply. "Thank you for the advice Ra. When this is over you must show me your scanning technology. We can only see if a ship is armed and basic information, but you can figure out its weaknesses and its entire plans. Of course we have to focus on the task at hand first."

John sat down embarrassed. "I... see. So there is a war between your two factions. Well Jedi that's quite honorable of you. Most men would be begging their pants off for help in a war but you saw it fit to keep the Cassiopeian Commonwealth away from it. Surely this will rush the Senate into voting friendly relations with the Galactic Federation of Friendly Alliances."

He let a smirk come up. "Maybe even an alliance."

William raised his brow. "Oh really? So why did you never take the chance to kill this Jedi?"
"Because I am honorable, despite what Jedi may say about the Empire. I have allowed a truce while on this station. But of course, once we leave, the war resumes." The Captain smiled coldly.

William chuckled, revelling in the Captain's humour. But then he paused. "Well Captain, I hope you don't bring the war into the Commonwealth. As small as our forces are compared to your Empire we still pack a punch, in my opinion anyway."

He continued. "Though I'd leave that to the military."

He stood up. "Very nice having you. And I hope your war against the Empire succeeds."

Odd looks were something that the Drow was quite used to already in his twenty years of life. The fact that he was the only one of his kind out of the billions of people that resided within the Corporation helped in this matter. Examining the room and those within, he knew that the Cassiopeians had never seen someone like him before so he just smiled and nodded to those he managed to catch looking at him.

Then he was approached by the diplomat, Bob Ross, who had apparently been assigned to the two Grummians. Quite an odd fellow, isn’t he? he thought to himself as he smiled outwardly to the rambling man. This will definitely be one interesting meeting….I can see it already.

The Drow decided to introduce himself and his Noldorin counterpart by first gesturing over to the elf at his side who promptly bowed his head to the diplomat. “This is Shiran Naelthasser, Vice Chairman of the Northrop-Grumman Corporation.”

Next he held out his hand for a handshake. “I’m Alakantar O’Neill, no fancy shmancy title yet, but my parents are Chairman and Chairwoman so that does amount to something, I guess.” He shrugged slightly and continued. “Well, we’re both here to find out more about your people and such and if at all possible, open up some trade between our two nations. Maybe something more substantial can happen later, but let’s first take one step at a time.”

OOC: Hey, I found this thread! Why exactly it took me so long after I was given exact directions is..... well, I found it at least.

IC: Two six foot figures marched alongside each other in unison. The black metal which coated their outer body gleamed. The faces on these creatures were carved into a metal mask, resembling humanity but not quite capturing it. The eyes were so called eyes were endlessly dark holes. The mouth curved up in a false smile, a sad desperation seeming to reflect from these features. These creatures were entombed within these metal bodies. they were Cyverons.

One placed his hand to his chest and spoke in a toneless voice. 'We have infiltrated the social diplomatic gathering held by the human power known as the Cassiopeians. We will discover what we can about these people, and investigate what would be needed to pursue a policy of improvement.'

The Home Fleet scanned the shuttle. It was good but nevertheless they were untrustworthy of the Emperor. Thus the station that was receiving the Emperor would not have its usual greeting party. There would be twenty Marines in the Hanger. Taking care of negotiations was the Captain, since this was a mostly military affair.

As the shuttle landed the soldier aimed their weapons at it. The Captain looked at it with disdain but he smirked. At least we have the advantage right now... He thought.

Bob Ross smiled. "Ah! Well, the Cassiopeian Commonwealth is surely a nation you would love to get friendly with. We have hundreds of minerals which we mind in the mines each day. Why, they're plentiful also! In fact the Government could allow you to have a small mining facility set up in the belt."

He continued. "Of course There is a risk." He paused for dramatic effect. "PIRATES! Yarr, evil pirates with ships that raid and crap oh mah gosh. I remember once I was a pilot in the Cassiopeian Star Navy. I was flying a fighter and all of a sudden these three pirate starfighters came out of nowhere and I was like WTF and they was like PWNED and so we fought but then. Point is I ended up losing a testicle and having to smuggle ciggerates out from the prison they were holding me. Of course I did meet my wife but then she died two days later due to spontaneous human combustion."

He cleared his throat. "Oh my I've gone on and ramble. Tell me, what can you offer the Commonwealth?"

Space, one of the final frontiers. A lone corvette (http://starwars.wikia.com/images/2/2d/Endarconcept.jpg) wandered the system patrolling as the other corvettes usually did. It was the CNS Neward this time and they were patrolling the borders of the system. Yet they were still a few minutes away from Rosanica it just wasn't as visible as you might think, a moon's way away really. Like if you look at the moon at night, that's how far Rosanica was. Though it was a small distance with hyperdrive.

It was just now that a strange reading was picked up. A ship, but no human beings?

The Captain looked at the readings. "Oh dear..." He said to himself with his Scottish accent. "This is bad. I... I'm not picking up anything!"

A random Ensign came up with an educated guess. "Maybe they're dead!" He shouted rudely.

The Captain shook his head. "No no. The ship's operational systems are working. Hm..." He paused. He pressed a button activiating the intercom thing. "This is Captain Rick McDaniels to unknown ship, do you require assistance?"

Obviously he had no idea what he was in for.

(I assume your cyborgs are outside the system right? What kind of ship are they in? If not I'll retcon. Unless it was just an elaborate tag >_<)

As the Doombringer left with the Emperor, Grand Admiral Mark Hammil was obviously confused. Either way he called back the fighter escorts back into their respective docking areas. The fleet of course still stayed in orbit. But Mark wanted to know, why did they leave?

As soon as he was about to lodge a request a message came in.

To: Grand Admiral Mark Hammil
From: The Ministry of Defence

We appreciate your role in this Grand Admiral. See the Sephrion Empire are
reluctant of losing their Emperor one of their best ships. Thus we were able
to negotiate a Non Agression Pact and a trade deal with them. Either way
we thank you for your patience in what could've escalated into a full scale
war. We just hope we don't have to deal with them again, making us piss our
pants...

Mark raised his brow. "I guess agressive diplomacy is still useful these days..."

OOC: Yep, outside the system. I aint got any pictures of their ships, but this is a scout vessel, meaning that it is smallish, thin and silver. No decent weapons, defensive cannons and such.

IC: the answer was short and toneless. 'We do not require assistance from you. You require assistance from us. We can save you.'
