All right, this is the OOC Signup thread for a 1970 RP. You pick a country and play it either historically or you can deviate some, but try to keep it reasonable. Note this takes place during the cold war, has happen according to the books up to 1970. Just whatever happens in rl up to 1970, goes, and period end of story


Time.
Our Time scale is one week equal one year. But during wars depending on the size of the war, it will be slow down a bit.

Current Year: 1970

War.
War is conducted by one of the war moderators, whenever you enter into a conflict you send orders and troop sizes and general objectives to the War mod and he'll RP out the battle.


Economics
You do your own Economics in the Economics thread(to be linked) and then the Econ Moderators will decide if its good, if it isn't they'll tell you to fix it. You more or less have a free hand in this.

Please do research on your country, any violations of Realism and Historical Accuricy will be handled by Ottoman Khaif or Lachenburg and then corrected. If you become such a problem that you must go, the moderators will try to get together and vote on whether or not you stay.


NPC's
NPC's will handled by a player not directly involved with the roleplaying or a moderator, as the situation dictates.

In the event the nation in question has failed to display maturity, realism, dedication, along with other important qualities throughout their previous RPing experiences, a Moderator or Administrator reserves the right to deny that said person of their claim."

Iran...at this point, under the rule of Shah, yet it may not last that long...do to growing support to the Pan Islamicist...yet I say pick a easlier nation to rp then Iran, sinces it a bit complex to rp.

If Ottoman Kaif is cool with you being USA, I say go ahead. I've been West Germany in every Cold War RP that has ever beens started (aside from one). So I guess i won't break the tradition ;)

OOC: Might I suggest that you, for the time being, claim a lesser power such as Canada? After all, we have very high expectations for our American player and we do not want to overwhealm your mind with such responsibilities (seeing as you are already part of several other RP's).

However, in the event the United States remains unclaimed for a long duration, I shall permit you to RolePlay the position.
