Zumoritan Ship of the Line

The Zumoritan Ship of the Line was designed by engineers from the Imperial Combined Zumoritan Heavy Industries Company and Phoenix Dynamix. Phoenix Dynamix also financed a great deal more than we were able to but have agreed to build us our first 2 ships for free since we covered much of the major design features in exchange for production rights being retained by them.
The Ship of the Line might be classifed as a cruiser by some navies, but we simply call it the "The Ship of the Line" We intend to build our entire navy around these vessels, rather than wasting money on antiquated battleships which we could never deploy and support anyway. Missile boats, frigates destroyers and these Ships of the Line are all we will need to support our carriers and bombard the shore. In adition to the basline model(Type 1) shown here,Two other types have been devised.A dedicated ASW type(Type 2), which adds 2 Depth Charge launchers and 4 ASROC launchers, as well as a towed sonar array, and an Air-Defense type (Type 3) which replaces the cruise missile launchers with 12 additonal SAM launchers and the 2 rear CIWS are replaced with a pair of dual 40mm AAA cannon turrets (with the advanced Bofors 3P air-bursting round system.)

Zumoritan Z-1A "Zoom" Attack Arcraft

The Zumoritan Z-1A was designed to replace the A-10 Warthog, which was found to be too ugly to be used by the Zumoritian airforce. Ironicly the Z-1A is ugly in its own right, although the tiger stripes help. The Z-1 features rienforced ceramic composite hull and engine armor, as well as slef-sealing fuel tanks. It can easily shrug off fround based or airborne 20-23mm cannon fire and has an advanced counter measure system. If by some sick twist of fate the aircraft is actually hit, an advanced ejection seat is included. While this aircraft was designed for homeland defense, and to be based on ground bases, the Navy has expressed interest in developing a carrier version which could carry penguin missiles or torpedos. The Z-1A is the first aircraft ever designed by a Zumoritan corparation.

Zumoritan Mobile AAA Platform

The Zumoritan Mobile AAA Platform is a major redesign of the Phoenix Dynamix T-01 Velociraptor remotely operated tank. The most straightfoward differnces are the fact that it is manned, and that the turret has been redesigned. Also since this is designed to take on airborne threats, the armor on the top has been increased while the side and bottom armor has been decreased. In case a tank shows up a pair of TOW missiles will deal with it easily. For faster moving or higher flying targets, or just if there are alot of targets to engage, 4 ZAAM-1 SAM's are inclued as well. They are IR Heat Seeking Missiles which are smaller than the sidewinder but more powerfull than the stinger.

Zumoritan Medium Battle Tank

The Zumoritan Medium Battle Tank was designed for rapid response across the moutianous roads of Zumorito. Its armor is signifcantly heavier than any other Zumoritan vehicle and so its top road speed is only 50mph, but it makes up for its average speed with above average weaponry. The 4 man crew has an impressive array of machine guns and missiles in additon to its standard 5 inch (128mm) cannon. The 128mm gun was chosen so we could retain 5 inch emplacements, mobile artillery and ship cannon ammuntion commonality.
