Darknovae

During the Holy War on the PH Continent, one nation, Jannica, had greatly offended two others, Ainadora and Arnthora. It was Ainadora who chose to fight back, and the first holy war ensued. Darknovae stayed out of it, which was wise. Arnthora, however, chose to help, and in the bloodiest war that the PH Continent had ever seen, three nations fell. The war only lasted thirteen months, thirteen months in which President Egan, President Kieran, and Commander Arman were all assassinated, in which anarchy governed and destroyed all three countries, in which Darknovae helplessly stood by and watched her neighbors die.
Now all that was left was a mass of land. It was still called the PH Continent, though it was only Darknovae now. Nobody had the heart to call it all Darknovae. In the eleven months that followed, the remnants of Ainadora, Arnthora, and Jannica were defined as "the Remnants."
It had been two years since the Holy War ended, and since then Queen Emily Ayame Romola continued to rule Darknovae, though the memory pf the war, of the bombs, of the death and destruction haunted her, the memory of when she had explored the remains of Mori, Arnthora, the day the war ended, after the plane crash that had claimed her best friend, Minerva, and her cousin, Chikako, as well as about fifteen soldiers and bodyguards and the pilot and co-pilot. Emily was the only survivor of that plane crash.
Emily was seventeen now. She was the Queen of Darknovae, the youngest Queen to ever rule at fourteen (at the time when she was first sworn in). Admiral Athol was still there, as well has her father, King Asgard. The memory of the Holy War was distant, but now the nation (as well as others) was thinking about rebuilding the Remnants.
