The desert of Dollous, a harsh environment for even a desert. Its was capable of temperatures over 120 degrees in the shade. Vast expanses of dunes were all Del'ri could see. He knew the Neomans were near but couldn't tell where.

The legion marched at a slow pace so that the human slaves wouldn't be tried when they met the enemy.

Del'ri looked around at his fellow Anubites, the heart and soul of this legion. Anubites were 7'ft tall dogs that stood on two legs. He smiled when he saw the crest of the dune they were marching over.

Suddenly as the first slave reached the apex of the dune an explosion ripped a gash in the Dune, sending an avalanche of sand down upon the his soldiers

Aron smiled to himself, his partner was young and didn't know of the horrors this desert could produce.

He picked his comm and talked into it.

"Sir, hostiles located and engaged." The comm. crackled softly as the radio searched for a response.

"Home base to Raider 1, recon there losses and report back." The calm voice came back.

"Yes sir," Aron said as his Dune Raider started to craw forward.

The other 3 dune raiders followed his and they began to speed across the desert toward the enemy's position.

"How you like me now!" shouted the solder on the back of the raider as the explosion from the rocket launcher could be seen on the Dune a head of them.

He looked around and saw the others were starting to unearth themselves. Even the feeble humans were starting to come out of the sand.

Suddenly at the top of the dune four strange vehicles came over the dune.
