National Congress Dissolved, Implementation of Somersbyite Democratic System Begins
ASN: The National Congress was officially dissolved today by the Somersbyite Fascist Administration following the Coup last week.
The Congress has been De Facto suspended since the military surrounded the building and arrested the members of the Congress following the former Government's refusal to stand down after losing the General Election.
Supreme Generalissimo Somersby spoke on National Television, assuring the population that the steps being taken were towards a "Somersbyite Democracy."
"This is a great day in the history of Azraelonia," the Supreme Generalissimo said.

Former President, Cabinet placed under House Arrest
The former Government of the Federation was today placed under House Arrest pertaining charges of Treason.
President John Matthews, along with his Cabinet of 12 Ministers, refused to leave Office following their parties defeat in the wake of the General Election victory by the ANSDPP.
The entire Cabinet have been placed under House Arrest in their individual homes, where they are being guarded by members of the Army.
A Government Spokesperson confirmed that the President and his Cabinet were to face Treason Charges in the future.
