Roosevelt lost his re-election, to a man known as James D'Angelo (may change his name later) who turned America into a one-party state under American nationalism. D'Angelo's America fought with the Allies in World War II and did use the bomb on Japan but in fact annexed Japan. It did not annex any part of Germany, due to relations with other allies. Japan was now a state of America, under a Governor of Japan.
In the Korean War, America fought with South Korea against the North. McArthur was not the one in Japan, he had died earlier thanks to the Japanese, possibly a Kamikaze. The head man in Korea was Julius Walker (may change later).
Japan is still under American control today, it is represented in the Grand Congress of America. America also did go into Vietnam, under the term of Alexander Griffin who beat Ho Chi Minh and annexed Vietnam, no one objected it seemed, for they thought the Americans would be better than Communism.
America also took care of Laos and the Khmer Rouge, annexing Laos and Cambodia but having good relations with Thai rulers.
America is composed of 54 states (Vietnam, Japan, Laos and Cambodia are states) and the capital is Washington DC.
