The buttstock is extendable and the AMA77 fits easily into a side holster for concealment. It is fully compatible with the ISS system and was initially intended to be the only ISS capable weapon but in the interest of smaller nations with tighter budgets the ISS was extended to include the AMA63 and 43. Integrated Super Soldier (ISS)

Description:

Command and Control

This area starts in the soldier’s helmet. Each ISS system is equipped with and integrated combat radio system that allows communication within the company and higher. Additionally, each system has an encrypted radio unit that operates on LOS for use between team members. The system will sense a break in the link and reroutes automatically until contact is regained. Voice and data communications can be relayed to the soldier directly or via drone relay links from headquarters, which have downloaded battlefield commands, information and images from forward observers, unmanned air vehicles, remote sensors and other airborne or satellite surveillance assets.

The soldier will also have a GPS System, a dead reckoner, and map displays from the above information to help him keep and up to date visual of what lies ahead. All of this information will be routes through a see through helmet mounted display that can be controlled by a small command pad on his weapon.

Lethality

The ISS lethality capability is made mainly through improved sighting and weapons. The use of non-cooled observation and sighting systems saves weight and logistic requirements.

The ISS can be equipped with the AMA63, 77, 43, and 15 which will be fitted with an enhanced sighting system on the weapon and linked to the soldier's helmet mounted sight. A linked sighting system allows the soldier to fire around corners at the target while remaining in a protected position.

To engage targets hidden in trenches or behind shelters, the soldier can measure the range of the target with a laser rangefinder. The range data is downloaded to the weapon's round and the overflying weapon round detonates at the designated range to strike the hidden target.

Mobility

The ISS system will weigh in at just over 40 lbs of equipment with the regular compliment. The machine gun will up the weight a little bit but still well within manageable specifications. As stated in the C&C section, the ISS is equipped with a GPS System, a dead reckoner, and map displays that give the soldier the knowledge and mobility he needs to get the job done.

Survivability
The clothing reduces the soldier's visual, radar and infrared signatures as well as providing personal temperature control and environmental protection. The clothing has wireless technology to interconnect the ISS components.
The grades of body armor protection will be selected for different operational requirements.
The integrated helmet provides ballistic protection and an interface to other elements of the battlefield network. The helmet-mounted display can show the battlefield situation, with wearer's position, positions of friendly and hostile troops and equipment and prioritized targets, as well as the downloaded imagery from his weapon sight.

Sustainability
The ISS system is made to be one of the most durable advanced infantry systems available. AMA guarantees that just one ISS will have a combat life of 15 years barring any type of combat damage to the unit. The unit is easily maintained but prospective buyers should realize that if any part of the armor section of the system is damaged, it is best to retire the system that to fix the armor as it will have reduced effectiveness for that point forward.

OOC: Nice weapons, but my government isn't really in a position to buy right now (Civil war, and all). The stats are cool, and the descriptions go further than most people do, but the lack of pictures is a downer. Go to The NS Draftroom (http://z13.invisionfree.com/The_NS_Draftroom/index.php?act=idx), and either learn some LineArt and make your own, or just ask around and someone might do some for you.

Might help with sales.

OOC: Thanks for the compliments. I'm going to be getting some 3-D software pretty soon so I will do all of the pictures on that and post them. To be perfectly honest with you however, I don't really see the fascination with having pictures of everything. Yeah the pictures make a nice addition to the storefront and make it more appealing to the eye, but as I told someone on NS just recently, pictures don't win wars. Although I don't have pictures, it shouldn't hurt my sales that much considering Isselmere does pretty good with his storefronts without pictures. Granted he describes things in almost inhuman detail but that makes the storefront better in my opinion but I should do alright once the ammount of wars picks up a little bit.

How would the AMA8 match up against an RPK, or M60, the current infantry support weapons of the Confederate military.

The AMA8 has a higher rate of fire than the RPK and M60. The AMA8 also benefits from a more advanced action which provides less jamming than the other two. The AMA8 can also be equipped with some of our most advanced sights, which will increase the overall effective range far beyond that of the RPK or M60. Also, changing the barrel is easier than the M60 because you only need to remove the barrel as opposed to having to taking things like carrying handle, front sights and other things of that nature off as well.

The only thing that you will see in this particular storefront are infantry small arms. It is the first in a line of storefronts that when finished will sell armored vehicles and aircraft. More weapons updates will be coming out within a few weeks and pictures will be here when I can get the time to do it.

It is with great pleasure that AMA recieves this order from your nation. You have requested to purchase the production rights of all but two of our products. The total as you have so ably provided for us is $65.25 billion USD. However, since the total exceeds the allocated $4.5 billion USD limit, it qualifies as a bulk purchase and you will recieve an additional discount of 5%. Your nation will also be placed on the Honorable Nation list which provides a 3% discount on additional purchases from AMA should you consider to view and purchase our new products and updates as they come along. Therefore the total price for the order will come to $61.9875 billion USD. We thank you again for choosing AMA for your infantry needs and hope you are pleased with the performance of your products.
