An investigation was being held in North Maraque City this morning after the death of a senior LifeWyze member, Lord Dwight.

Lord Dwight was discovered in his room in Tower 3 at the North Maraque LifeWyze BioTech Head Quarters, where he enjoyed an opulent life style. While police have sealed off the room and are not giving out any information, sources report that Lord Dwight was shot, however as yet there are no reports of a murder weapon having been found.

Sir James, C.E.O. of LifeWyze BioTech had this to say, "Lord Dwight was a beloved friend and much valued asset of LifeWyze. His death shall be mourned, and his life celebrated. Currently we are co-operating with this investigation in every way possible and we hope to see whomever is responsible for this vile crime in custody as soon as possible."

Recently, Lord Dwight defended LifeWyze BioTech during an investigation by the League of Nations into its' business practices. As the head of the Chemical Weapons Division, this comes as a great blow for the multinational conglomerate.

Lord Dwight, born July 23rd, 1974, was one of the Lords of Cruxium, appointed as Home Secretary in 2002 and knighted later that same year for his service to the country.

Scandal threatened his position as both head of the LifeWyze BioTech Chemical Weapons Division and as Home Secretary of Cruxium in February 2005 when he was found to have been having extra-marital relations with seven women in the same month.

During his term as Home Secretary, Lord Dwight implemented the controversial National Indoctrination Programme for immigrants to make them 'effective, contributory members of society.' and is credit for the reduction in illegal immigration by 14% in a single year.

Has the killer striked again???

Martentopiano Has the killer of the senior LifeWyze member, Lord Dwight, striked again? Police were informed of gunshots by a local hotel-owner yesterday, and quickly rushed to Hotel Magnificence, where another LifeWyze official, Undon inlucky, was staying in his visit to Martentopis. When the police arived, they found Inlucky dead in his hotel-bathrrom, with a gunshot to the head. The window of the 20-story hign hotel-room had been smashed, but no sign of the murderweapon was found. Police suspect it was the same killer who had Lord Dwight, but investigations are still continuing.

Cheif Kont put down the newspaper. He was the person who had been assigned to the LifeWyze case in Martentopis. It was quite impossibly baffling. No murder weapon had been located, no motive could be thought of, and no one could possibly imagine how anyone could have smashed through a 20-story high hotel window. When checking the airline databases, to see all who had come from Maraque that day, no one had been found. The only clue they had at the moment was a drop of blood on the broken glass of the window. When running DNA on the police computers, nothing could be found, which would mean the killer was not from Martentopis. Then one of Kont's assistants entred the room.

"Sir?" asked the assistant. "I think you should hear this. It's about the LifeWyze case."

"Shoot." replied Kont. "What is it hans?"

"We checked the glass shards from the broken window..." said Hans. "The implodes that you normally see with broken glass, were pointing outwards."

"You're the science geek here, Hans. Tell me what it means!"

"The window was smashed from the inside, sir." A grin spread accross cheif Kont's face.

"This means the killer got in through the hotel-door! Man, thanks Hans. This changes matters completely. Atleast we have a start to solving the mystery!" said the cheif.

*Bump*

Kont had asked to talk with the hotel staff in charge of Undon Inlucky's room. In front of him stood 3 hotel personnel (all men) who had all given room-service to Undon. They were being questioned in the high-class, Martentopiano Local Police Centre.

"so..." started Kont. "Which one of you saw Undon last?" The staff pointed towards the man on the right, Hoist Airy.

"And, Hoist," said Kont. "Did you notice anything suspicious when you saw Undon?"

"Nope," Said Hoist. "Nothing. He was preparing for a speach he was going to give several hospital officials in Martentopis. He was typing busily on his laptop."

"And what were you bringing him for room-service?"

"Champagne, the most expensive we had."

"Mister Airy, from our investigations, we found out the killer didn't break through the window, but the normal door. Do you have any defence against the fact that you may have broken into the door and killed him?"

"I wouldn't do that!! he was a great tipper. If someone killed him, it was definitely not one of the hotel-staff. Undon was ranked highly on out list of top-ten tippers!"

"Thank you, everybody." concluded Kont. "You are free to leave."

Kont walked into the laboratory. The body of Undon was being examined in there.

"Found anything yet?" He asked.

"Yeah..." said john Milk, the body-examiner. "I found slight bruises on the finger tips, meaning the deceased was tapping on a material of somekind."

"Yeah," replied Kont. "He was typing."

"That would explain it..." said John. "The second thing i found was that the brain suffered from internal bleeding. This would not be so if he had died because of a shot to the head."

"So the cause of death isn't shooting?"

"Probably not. He was hit with a blunt object on the head, but after looking at several scratches on the head, i decided the blunt object broke upon impact."

"Would a champagne bottle fit the description of the murder weapon?" wondered Kont.

"Certainly!" said John.

Upon examining the hotel-room, Kont had found shards of green glass. When checking with the hotel-winery, he found that the most expensive wine bottle was, in-fact made of green glass. So this meant that a champagne bottle was in-fact used to kill Undon.

Meanwhile, Hans Ubertan, Kont's assistant, was examining the bullet shot into Undon's head. It was a Martentopis class colt-55. Hans quickly called his boss.

"Kolt!! You really ought to hear this!!"

"What is it Hans? Y' found somethin'?"

"Yes, sir!!" replied Hans enthousiatically. "The bullet that was shot into Undon's head, was a Martentopis class colt-55!" Kont was astounded.

"But that's the gun the Martentopis National Police use. What's it doing in the head of Undone?" said Kont.

"Exactly!!!" shouted Hans.

"Wait, Hans... don't hang-up on me!!!" said Kont furiously. "All MNP bullets are marked with an ID, so that we always know who shot what where! Hans, you should go and check the ID on the bullet."

Hans did this immediately. Printed on the side of the bullet was the ID number: 20098980. Running the number on the Police Database, Kont got a name within seconds. He rang up his boss again.

"The bullet belonged to Jonathan Doolioo. He was on patrol the day of the murder. He didn't turn up for work the next day, though..."

"What's his address Hans?"

"Cat Hair st. 92. It's only a few blocks away from here!"

"Then i think it's time we paid Jonathan a little visit..." said Kont.

Empress Siv P. Norris was sitting in her office in the Imperial Palace in Northern Maraque City, just a block from the Tri Towers when one of her many aides walked in.

"Ma'am, I've got some bad news for you." Said the man.

Empress Siv sighed, she wasn't very good at this job yet, having been abruptly brought into it by her fathers inability to rule. "Yes Jensen? Give me all you've got."

"Well it appears a senior member of Lifewyze Biotech was murdered in Tower Three of the Tri Towers. Sources are indicating that he has been shot, but so far no murder weapon has been found."


"Shot?..." The Empress said, stunned. "How does a man in a nation where guns are banned except in the police force and military get killed?"

"Well, as you know ma'am, gun smuggling does happen quite often."

"True, but we haven't had a gun related crime in centuries. What kind of gun was used?"

"It's unknown at this time, but as soon as I have more information I'll get it back to you."

"Thank you."

Kont knocked on the door of the run-down house of Jonathan Doolioo, on Cat Hair st. Kont and his only female assistant, Linda Miller, were going to try to question Jonathan.

"Helloooo?" shouted Kont. "Anyone home???". There was no reply.
"These blimmin' people these days... always locking their door..."

"I thougth you encouraged safety?" said Linda.

"Not when it ruins the investigation, thank you very much." came Kont's reply. "Anyways, i think we'll have to break in. Call in the demo squad."

"The what squad?"

"The demolition squad! now move it!"

A little while later, the two detectives had blasted their way through the door, and were searching through the living room. Then they entered the kitchen. Both officers were shocked to see the body of a man in his late twenties lying dead on the ground.

"I get it..." said Kont. "The killer killed Undon with a champagne bottle, then went here to pick up a gun to make it look like a police officer killed him. Clever."

"yeah..." said Linda, covering her nose with a napkin to keep away the smell of the body. "These shoes standing next to the door match the shoe-prints from the crime-scene. Your theory is probably correct. But what do we do now?"

"Good question Linda... It seems like you've run aground. You've reached a dead-end!" said a guy from the demolition squad.

"Well..." was Kont's reply. "As you know, looks can be deceiving!"

"You mean you still have another clue to follow-on to?"

"We've got our nice fellow Harry Airy. The room-service guy from the hotel. He might have some more info..."

Hans had logged on to the database of Maraquen DNA. While typing the DNA sequence into the database, Kont entered the room.

"What ya doin' Hans?" he asked. "It's no use running the DNA on our database. I already did it!"

"This isn't our database." replied Hans. "This is the maraquen databse!"

"Nice work Hans! So ya found anythin' yet?"

"Nope... this database is pretty big. It might take a few hours..."

"Well get on with it! I want to know where this killer is from! Now i have to go to a special meeting!"

"An interrogation?"

"Yep"

"I wouldn't call that a special meeting!"

"Good morning." Elenore greeted the various people in the Ministry. It was a nice day."

She walked into her office, to see Karou sitting there T.V. on. "Karou what brings you here this morning. I don't belive we've had any schedualed appointments."

"Prime Minister you might want to see this."

"Again, Lord Dwight of LifeWyze Bio Tech, has been murdered."

"Oh my word. Guess who's going to be the Prime Suspects, us. We very openly condemed LifWyze, and ran a probe."

"Madam Minister, surely they would know the probe was an act of concerne, and we did rule LifeWyze to be stable."

"Yes but my policey as well as Aqua Anu's policey on WMD's are clear. I certianlly never gave any attack orders. Call Aqua Anu."

"Yes ma'am."

LifeWyze Biological Technologies announced today that it has information suggesting the assassin to be of Kanami origin.

Recently, Lord Dwight addressed the League of Nations on behalf of LifeWyze BioTech, causing heated discussions with various members of the investigation, including high ranking Kanami official, Karou Kamiah.

In the official press statement, LifeWyze BioTech informed us that it had discovered and analyzed a DNA sample from the murder scene of Lord Dwight and that it matched up with a Kanami-national who entered Maraque the day prior to the assassination of the high ranking LifeWyze official.

Currently, no further information has been official released, however inside details have informed us that this person has since returned to Kanami. It is likely the person is wanted for questioning and a request for extradition is expected.

"If Crixium infact has this quote un-quote nationalist, in their posetion, we ask for his/her extradition to be tried, in Kanami courts."

Mikaux and Subaru reviewd the statements from their home in Aqua Anu. They we're preparing to depart for Kanami.

"Well honey, I'm afraid they've made the accusations." Mikaux said.

"I know mother. But I wonder if they have any true evidence. It seems improbable to link DNA to a Kanami citizen if they aren't in the criminal databse. I know they will use my own statments against me."

"You want me to put a gag controll on the media?"

"No mother."


"Rumors continue that some sort of consipracy plot was apart of it. Some are even speculating the Government of Aqua Anu and Kanami. In Princess Subaru's evening adress shortly after the LifeWyze Probe, it's speculated she may have had a hand in it."

The world must defend from this evil company that sells weapons of mass destruction. There is no justification to these weapons. Just as there is no justification to blowing up a building full of woman and children. That is what these weapons do, and that is how LifeWyze makes it's money doing that. They care nothing of the people they hurt. They are a organized global terrorist network

"And who could forget her interview on Aqua Tonight where she gave this statment:

Any nation that buys these weapons should be considered terrorists. It's not like a normal bomb which can be contained, these have spread effects, people thousands of miles away can become sick, and they aren't apart of any war.

"Now Subaru nor Mikaux have had anystatments, but you can be sure they will be looking at this situation carefully."

(OOC: LifeWyze has primarily relocated to Maraque since the beginning of the Cruxian Jagite war, Cruxium has absolutely no authority over LifeWyze whatsoever. Infact more the other way around, as most high ranking LifeWyze officials are in the Cruxian government.

The supposed national is, according to LifeWyze, in Kanami already. It is going to speak to Maraque to attempt to have him extradited to Maraque for trial.)

"Mother I understand you're worried. But I stand by my statments. You know I had nothing to do with this."

The chopper landed at Kanami Airport. Elenore greeted them, and escorted them to her office.

"Elenore, I can personally say right now my daughter has nothing to do with this. And I'm sure you had nothing to do with it either."

"I know Your Majesty. And I won't let the Bueracrats at LifeWyze say so. This nationalist, I have no idea who he is."

Mikaux continued.

"What if this is just a set up? I mean how could they know if he isn't in their Criminal Database?"

"I too find it strange Prime Minister." Subaru relplied. "Unless they take samples from everyone who enters the country, there is no possible way to know."

"Well if he's extradited, I'm sure he'll be tried to the fullest extent of the law."

"What does this mean for Project Antidote?"

"If this is all a sham, I could have LifeWyze Subpoenad. As for Project Antidote, I'll have to contact Kurona, and talk to them on that. In the mean time, let's keep it how it should be. A Black Project. Let's see if we can dig up some info."

LifeWyze BioTech have just announced the name of the accused: Koji Atsuko.

The Right Honourable Sir James Irvine, Chief Executive Officer of LifeWyze Biological Technologies is rumoured to have met with a senior law official of Maraque today in the appeal to have the figure extradited to Maraque for questioning.



Also in the news today, LifeWyze announce it is to begin taking orders for deadly botulin toxin, considered the single most dangerous substance in the world, through its' Chemical Weaponry Division, as well as stating it will begin implementing it into its' Healthcare Division.

Elenore picke up the phone, and called for the Investigation Session.

"Prime Minister Romeny, I want to know, if the accused has an attorney present with him?"

After checking the database, Hans hadn't found any DNA match with anyone in Maraque. When matching the DNA to the Kanami assassin's DNA, however, it was an exact match. He quickly dialed-up Kont.

"Hello, you're speaking with Kont. Can i help you?" came kont's un-enthousiastic reply.

"Boss, a break-through!!" shouted Hans.

"Hans, i'm in the middle of an interogation. You shouldn't interupt me!!"

"I'm sory, boss. I forgot!" said Hans. "So you found anythin' yet?"

"Nope!" said Kont.

"The guy ain't a talker?"

"Oh, he's a talker allright! It's just that waht he says is total bull ***. So far i've found out he likes bratt wurst, often goes to fast food restuarants, drives a Ford, and is of Kanami origin! It's no use!"

"But sir!! Didn't you know the assasin that murdered Lord Dwight was from Kanami?"

"No, where do you get your information, Hans?"

"I read the normal newspaper instead of the police-debreifing! It's way more interesting... includes comics!"

"okay, i'll come over immediately to discuss plans. Call up the whole squad. We're really onto a break-through!!"
