ANBC SPECIAL REPORT



We interrupt all regularly scheduled programming for this ANBC Special Report.


This is Casssae Amakiir reporting for ANBC, this is a sad day in this nations history. It is my duty to confirm the Assassination of our President. Again President Brahe has been murdered by a terrorist sniper from a group calling themselves " RED SEPTEMBER ". At 6:16 pm last night while speaking at Saint Julia de Lorian University about the National Construction Projects ( NCP ) finally being finished he was shot and killed by a snipers bullet.
Andorrian Police chased the sniper throught the city streets of Saint Julia de Loria for most of the night and had him trapped at one point until he recieved help from a backup group of terrorist who helped him successfully escape capture. Police recieved a letter from Red September this morning claiming responsiblity for the killing and saying that he had been killed because of his leadership in the national construction projects. They did not make it clear why they are against the construction projects. In doing so Red September has effectively made what should have been a day of celebration into a day of mourning for our beloved President. Vice President Caslev will be sworn in as acting President tomorrow morning until eletions can be held.

I offer my deepest condolences to the family of the late President Brahe and to the people of Andorra, and pray that this act of cowardice will not go unpunished. If assistance is needed, the Realm is more than willing to offer it.

The Grand Duchy of Saint Lazare expresses its sorrows for the late President Brahe. It is a crushing blow to the safety and security of the world today, as even peaceful nations can be the subject of heartless murders. May justice be dealt to the perpetrators swiftly.

Encrypted Communique

First of all, I would like your assurances that the contents of this communique remains a confidential matter.

I am willing to offer you the support of Cottish special operations forces in the tracking down and destruction of the assassin(s) responsible for the assassination of President Brahe. I am offering the services of 4. Team, Detachment A, 3. Special Operations Force. This team consists of 12 highly trained and skilled soldiers whose identity shall remain unknown. They will, if permitted, arrive in Andorra within 12 hours to assist your police and military forces in eliminating the assassins.

Furthermore, I am offering Cottish financial, diplomatic and forensic support in the terminating the group known as "Red September" once and for all. Please reply in an encrypted channel if you accept our offers.

The C-14B Yggdrasil medium transport plane travelled quickly from its base at Sola Air Force Base outside Stavanger in Norway, over the Norwegian Sea and England before it moved south, over the Bay of Biscay and over Spain before finally landing at the designated landing area in Andorra. After the militarized Airbus A330-200 aircraft landed safely, taxied to the remote hangar and gotten flightstairs up to its fusilage, the doors opened and allowed the passengers to disembark. While the C-14 had room for two hundred passengers, this time it carried only twelve.

The twelve men were dressed in black combat uniforms, holding no manners of identification what so ever. The only thing visible on the uniforms were the silver rank insignia on the upper torso of each soldier. The highest-ranking soldier, a oberstløytnant showed it by having two silver stars flanked by two thin silver bands along the sides. It was clear that there was sufficient space for another star over the two that were already there. Another of the soldiers had three stars without the bands. Other than that, it mostly went in straight angles pointing down. The fourth team of Detachment A, third Special Operations Force, also known as Forsvarets Spesialkommando [Armed Forces' Special Command] had arrived. Forsvarets Spesialkommando was the closest thing one came to a Black Operations Force (BOF) without it actually being a BOF, meaning that the public knew that it existed, but nothing more. It would have been a genuine BOF had it not been for a rather nasty leak ten years ago when some junior MoD official who knew a bit too much spilled it unintentionally while having a dinner with a journalist. Needless to say, the journalist had won an award for the Scoop of the Year and the official had been sacked, procecuted and sentenced to thirty years for giving away secrets with utmost importance to the security of the Realm. The reason why the Government didn't want to make public the existance of the 3. SOF was because they used it for purposes which would mean guaranteed political suicide if it had been done in the open. This mission was among those types of missions. The team had orders to eliminate the terrorists using any means necessary, with a virtual carte blanche on killing, torture and maiming. Naturally, this wouldn't take place without the permission of the host country, but they expected the Andorrans to agree with the treatment.

While the team collected their weapons and equipment from the two pallets in the cargo hold in the back of the C-14, the team leader, the oberstløytnant walked over to the welcoming committé. He was an older person, probably in his fourties, with greying streaks in the raven black hair which was about twenty millimeters long on the top, and virtually non-existant on the sides. A true military haircut if there ever was one. The face showed the marks of combat, with several scars of various sizes. He was slender built, but possessed a natural aura of confidence and leadership. There was no disputing his ability to issue orders and to make sure that they were carried out, even when he was unarmed.

"Gentlemen, good morning. I'm Lieutenant Colonel Isak, team leader for Team 4," he said. Clearly, Isak wasn't his real name, but then again, no one in Forsvarets Spesialkommando or in the Special Forces community used their real names anyway. It was a good way of retaining the all-important anonymity needed in their line of work. "My condolences on the loss of your President. Hopefully, we'll get the bastards responsible and kill them."

September and put an end to their senseless killing."

Oberstløytnant Isak nodded and motioned for his men to follow him. They had cracked open the pallets and extracted their weapons. In all, the weapons they had brought along ought to be more than enough to inihilate the Red September. In addition to this, they had with them the necessary tactical communications equipment, protective gear and other required equipment such as zipties, lockpicks, C4 explosive, et cetra.
