With the war in Hydac not looking good, Claudius Griffincrest decided to set his sights on a new prize, the small nation of Intyny. Oil has been discovered there, as have other resources of value to the corporation. He intended to take this small nation, use its resources, and then turn it over as a slave state to the Confederacy. Soon, Corporate Invasion Force Alpha was heading towards Intyny.

Holy City, Capital of Intyny
Life in Holy City was good. The High Monks ruled over the masses with a religious fervor unmatched since the days of the Founding, and the masses returned the fervor in their daily worship. Trade was thriving, and the empire was in a state of peace and piety.
It was a shame, however, that nothing wonderful could stay.

The crew of the Korvo had barely any idea of their destination, but that did not matter. What mattered was that someone was here, and the Korvo needed to find out who.

The mercenary fleet did not even bother to respond. A stealth ship appeared on radar a few miles away from the Korvo. It quickly fired off two torpedoes, then dissapeared from radar. The landing craft sped towards shore, while the three Kirov class cruisers cut gracefully through the water.

The crew of the Korvo could never have prepared for their first instance of hostile fire, but nevertheless, it was now upon them. The instant the torpedoes were fired the crew was tracking them, but there was little to be done. In seconds, the Korvo was hit twice, near the aft and, hence, the engines.
The collision of missile against hardened steel shook the entire ship to the bolts, waking many of the crew who were not yet awake. Water spilled into the burning engine room, creating massive clouds of salty steam that filled the lungs of those nearby, choking them.
Fear spread quickly through the dying ship, and men jumped overboard by the tens, trusting their stamina and God to bring them ashore. Just before the ship went under, a message went out from the bridge.

The landing ships soon hit the shores, and the mercenary army poured out. 1200 Mercury LBT's, supported by around 300,000 infantry, 10 Behemoth II MBT's, and a small fleet of Humvees. Gnat fighter zipped overhead, heading for the nearest Intynian airbase. An Mi-2 gunship hovered overhead repeating over and over "Lay down your weapons and you will not be harmed. Fighting is useless"
The Kirov's stopped in the water, and targeted the port of Holy Paradise with their cruise missiles. In minutes, the missiles would be screaming for the port.
