At 8:15 early this morning an explosion was reported at the Reich Chancellery, only light injuries have been reported with no one being killed. This event coincided with clashes between armed militia forces and Todesesser military personnel in the southern province of the country. Chancellor Von Schmidt was unharmed by the explosion and released this statement;
“My people, our proud soldiers have been attacked by terrorist forces. They intend to cause destruction and death everywhere they please, but fear them you have no need. Our military is rallying as I speak, they will smash these terrorists and restore peace to our nation. To all nations observing events this is an internal affair and foreign interference is not necessary.”

My fellow citizens, my name is Albert Dittrich. I was once a simple farmer, I worked for my country and then our corrupt government takes my land from me, land which has been in my family for generations. I was angry; I did not want to believe my country would do such a thing. I soon learnt that this was happening all over our country, others were angry too. We have now massed to rid ourselves of the government that oppresses us and to claim our country, the people’s country. We ask all democratic nations to give us aid us in our struggle for freedom.

Current Status;
-Chancellor Von Schmidt has declared martial law and imposed a curfew for all civilians; any found breaking this curfew will be arrested.
-Government soldiers have begun rounding up civilian suspects being believed to have connections with the Rebels/Terrorists; rumours of mass executions are rife.
-The Rebel forces have gained control of large parts of the countries southern province, few cities are being contested, and civilian casualties are expected to be high.
-Rebels have gained control of a Government air field.
-Government troops caught unawares by the Rebels are retreating northwards burning and pillaging villages and towns as they go, presumably under government orders.
-News of these events have also sparked minor uprisings in the central and eastern provinces of the country, mainly in urban areas but these are believed to be under control.

Military status;
Government Forces:
-Todesesser has a 330,000 strong military, it is separated into 15 22,000 strong divisions, 5 of which are active with 10 in reserve.
-The government forces are reasonably trained and well equipped with modern weaponry.
-The air force consists of around 250 aircraft; this is a mix of modern fighters, fighter-bombers, bombers and various helicopters.
-Despite being an island Todesesser possesses a small navy consisting mainly of lightly armed coastguard vessels and a semi-modern light destroyer.

Rebel Forces
-Rebel forces number around 250,000; they are poorly trained and are using outdated Russian weapons, though some are utilising captured government weaponry.
-The rebel air force consists of 50 captured government fighters, though the rebels are poor pilots with some knowledge of flying civilian aircraft.
-The rebels have created a small naval force from civilian vessels by arming them with machine guns and light artillery pieces.

A few notes on the geography of Todesesser;
Todesesser is a small island covered with large rolling plains, dense and light woodlands break up the plains. Rivers and valleys criss-cross the country side and the main cities are dense and confined. Smaller urban areas are scattered all over the country. The coast is mainly cliffs with a few open stretches of beach.

(ps. this is my first attempt at RPing, I have tried not to make this scenario too constrained and I may have left things out. Feel free to correct me:) )

Yes, it is MT. Government forces are using modern German arms and rebels are using Russian arms (AK47's, RPG47's, etc.)

The current government is that of a Dictatorship.
The rebels aims are to overthrow the current government through violent means and replace it with that of a democracy.

To the International Department of Intelligence,

Armed conflict has come up here in Todesesser. A rebel faction has emerged and is trying to overthrow the currupt dictator. The people have been talking about it all week. We don't know if there has been an actual battle yet, but the rumors are spreading. I officially reccomend that we use this situation to get the title the senate has been searching for. Frankly i dont think the senate was impressed with our campaigns in Bellum Perferdo, this little nation could be useful. End."

He sent the message and shut down his laptop. He got up and walked over to his closest and retrieved his trusty P90 submachine gun and 9mm berreta handgun. He snatched some magazines and fitted all his gear to his vest. He got out his large duffle bag and packed up his things, and the rest of his weapons. He slipped his laptop in and zipped it shut. Then he took his overcoat and through it over himself. He placed his hat on his head, and was out the door.

He came to the front door and heard some policemen rustling a citizen outside. He decided to take the back door.

Back at home, not a week later, Chancellor Alexander had made his decision. "It shall be done. Get General Hayden out of the Artereus islands, and tell him i have another assignment for him. Summon the 2nd Army, ready the 6th and 7th Air Forces, and prep Battle Groups Tango and Delta to transport and support the 2nd Army. Got it? Send the rebels a notice that we are on the way. I have to get to the senate to press this issue immediately. If we don't act now it may be too late." Alexander said to his staff members. No one spoke as the tall man rose and hurried out of the room.

Through the busy streets of Beth he made his way to the senate where he presented his case. He got was he was looking for.

The senate officially passed a declaration of war against the dictatorship govornment of Todesser.

Chancellor Blackhelm sat his his desk when news of this civil war came through. General Marcus Blueshield stood at the Chancellor's side. "Well, the government is a recognized government. I think we should support it. Besides, who knows how fast these pro-democratic rebels can become communists?" the chancellor said. "Ready an intervention, Marcus, this government is not going to fall."

In an hour, 100,000 confederate troops were loaded onto planes and sent out to help the government maintain order.

A pale man wearing all black clothes, wearing a high-necked coat emblazoned with a rearing dragon on the front, outlined in gold thread, and a black pair of pants going past his ankle and draping onto his shoes, also black, sighed. Standing up from his coffee, the man looked down into the cup and appeared to consider, then drained it and set it on the table. He left a one-kunai note folded neatly in the platter, apparently not caring that it was foreign currency. After all, they could always go to a bank and exchange it, where it would be worth approximately eleven dollars. Perhaps more, because of the recent civil war, which was driving prices way up in the cities, with farmers rebelling and not growing anything. Walking out of the small shop, he wound his way through the crowd of refugees, which appeared intent on leaving the city. He doubted they could; martial law was being enforced and no-one was allowed into or out of the city.

As he approached the apartment, he looked around with the caution of a trained spy. No snipers in the windows; the alleyways were clear; and the people blocked his view of the street. Ducking into a doorway, he walked up a set of stairs into a room, locked the door behind him, and fetched his laptop from the crawlspace. It did have sensitive data- no use in having it be possibly stolen by anyone. The laptop had an odd attachment- and without his doing anything, it turned on and opened a ethermail program. Ethermail was Lunaen's special communication system- it was sent directly to an establishment on the moon, then sent from there to Lunaen's capitol. The man looked down, and one eye rolled down to anyone's normal vision range, looking slightly into the eye socket. The other one rolled- and kept rolling, exposing a two small holes in the back. One was a camera feed- the other a direct thought/computer access. The man plugged a cable into the top hole, and a written report appeared onscreen. Taking the cable out, he sterilzed it then put it in the other hole. Pictures appeared, of the country leader and rebel leader, full profiles, head shots, and full body pictures, in 1x, 5x, 10x and 20x vision. Thermal views of military sites, obviously taken aerially, touched the bottom of the report, along with a long series of code, which was automatically added by the computer program. He swiped his finger on the side of the laptop, and it read his fingerprint, then took a DNA sample from dead flakes of skin. The laptop flashed a brief 'Message Sent' and turned off. The man unplugged the cable and rolled his eye to normal, flickering it through 1x, 5x, 10x, 20x, 50x, and 100x then thermal and LA [light amplification] before returning to normal. Everything was in order, and he nodded, satisfied. Then he left the room, and disappeared into the crowd, silver eyes shining.




ooc: also, you have to realize they don't need help. 330,000 militarily trained and heavily armed professionals versus 250,000 civilians with guns = massacre. I doubt that military casualties would even reach ten thousand.

Beth Harbor was a busy place. Eight hundred thousand men from the 2nd Army were quickly loading onto the ships of Battle groups Delta and Tango.

A plane touched down at Fort Carlyle, landing General Hayden. He was taken to Beth, where he saw the army he would be commanding. "Hot damn," he said, "Obsess much?"

His XO said, "Apparantly the senate wasent satisfied with your victory in Bellum, sir."

Hayden took a puff of his cigar. "We got some numbers here?"

A staff member gave him a piece of paper listing the strength of the enemy forces. Hayden nodded with an assured grin on his face. "We got this. No problem." He slipped it into his pocket.

Later that day Hayden found himself in the company of the Chancellor himself. Alexander looked at the General and put his hands on the General's shoulders. "Hayden, spare no expense to delete this menace." he took his hands back. "Make us look good. Make us proud. Let no one stand in your way. If you need help, I can call upon the entire Royal Alliance (ooc: 11 nations btw) if need be. One way or another, we will win this war. God speed General."

Hayden saluted the Chancellor and made his way to the ships.

Of course Lunaen is gathering info on the war in case it weakens the country enough so that Lunaen can have a clean sweep through it.

OOC: They are there mostly for riot control. Notice i sent no armor. Also, an average Blackhelm dispatchment is 700,000 men. This is only 100,000. I figure that if they can professionally do the job the military is screwing up, the people will be less wanting to uprise.

Leocardia will provide the rebels money, weapons, and training to provide them the best of their freedom.

Leocardian Freedom Fighters Special Forces Unit has been deployed on Todesesser. The Freedom Fighters fight for the freedom of Terrorists, and of course to provide them a strong, stable government of their own.

The Leocardian Power Fleet, consisting of 15 Invincible Class Destroyers, 10 Guangzhou Class Crusiers, 12 Nuclear 'Jusi' Submarines, and 7 Juki Class SDs. The fleet was deployed, also, in this mission. A total of 1.4 million Leocardian men are deployed in this aid of the Rebels.

This squad, known as the Leocardian Freedom Fighters Unit, is one of 18 units of Leocardia's Military.

A cargo ship was on its way to some small country in the middle of nowhere. They weren't employees of the governhment or anything, they were jsut looters. They chose ot go to th palce and take whatver they oculd form the wartorn cities. Then they would go home with their spoils and cash it in. Most men hoped to beocme rich, seeing as how they were poor.

Lil suggestion when RPing diffrent sides to a battle yourself:

Use seperate posts for each side
Take a breath between them
Don't RP your enemy's casualties until you RP the enemy


This prevents you from developing bad habits early on, and keeps the format the same as everybody else's.

The Royal Code (TRC) has been granted an ally of Leocardia in this war for freedom. The maps of stragetic warfare has been set and the plans has been sent to TRC.

The Leocardian Forces were 12 miles away from the Tosdesesser terrotory. "Land!" the captain shouts in excitement. "MEN MAN YOUR DECKS!" He says in the telecom. In minutes, the Naval sailors were scattered all over the decks and into their battle positions. Radarmen scanned for enemy forces, artillery squads aim at whatever to aim at that causes casulties on the enemies, and ammunition men to gather and restock the ammunition.

The powerful men of Leocardia's Freedom Fighters were ready to be deployed, they ran into their transport docking boats and started sailing toward Todesesser shores. With the support of Leocardian Navy, the Leocardian FFs are promised to have the fewest injuries.
