Norsefire...
The corrupt regime that brought order and justice to a small nation which was engulfed in anarchy... It brought meaning to the lives of those citizens who had lived through the war. And it also ensured that the citizens it protected could never bite the hand which fed...

"... And so, I present the Supreme Chancellor of the Kingdom!"
Applause was heard throughout the chamber as Chancellor Carver walked calmly down the aisles to the podium at the center of the chamber, exchanging smiles and waves with the members of the assembly. All around were signs of security... Men in the red and black dress uniform of Norsefire... Soldiers wearing their fatigues, their rifles held ready... It was a sign of the times.
Without paying any mind to it, the Chancellor cleared his throat, and looked out at the assembly, the glare from the lights causing him to squint. He waited until he recieved the okay to begin, and began to speak with such eloquence, it was no wonder how he came to power.
"Today is the day where we begin to look back at the world as a whole. Today, we cease our isolation, and instead reach out to our neighbors in hopes of establishing ties with the world as a whole. Instead of wallowing inside our own borders, paying no mind to the outside world, we shall look forth, and begin a new journey. We shall seek out possible friends and allies, and as a whole we shall prosper on the world stage. No more shall we sit here idly! We shall begin to wander outside our own borders, searching for friends and allies in these trying times! We shall establish unbreakable ties, and form pacts to protect our nation in the future. I ask you- nay, beg you all to support our nation in this endeavour! We shall unite and face coming challenges together, and we shall do so next to any and all allies which we meet along the winding road of the future! We shall remain strong through unification! And we shall unite through faith!"
Applause filled the chamber again as the Chancellor raised his arms above his head, reminiscint of the fascists and dictators of old. He walked away from the podium, his entourage close behind as he left the building.
Later that night, a message was sent to all nations of the world from Norsefire:
The United Kingdom wishes to open relations with any and all interested nations. Through faith, we are united! And through unity, we are strong!
