Well, not that different, but hey. I'll give it a go to see if anybody is willing to try this out. A note: I WILL NOT BE WRITING IMMENSE POSTS.

Also, I will need an example of your RPing. Here is the post you must built on:
-Put in an example Role-Play of a man making some coffee and then watching TV.

Now since that'll make my reading much easier, here's my proposal - It's intereting to see nations fight nations, sure, but how about corporations? How can you fight something that spans through different countries, that is connected to you in a single way? You can only rise if they falter, and if you falter, then they rise. So how would it go? Hence, this is why it's a different type of warfare.

It's a war of trade embargoes, business assassinations, propoganda and economics. It's a race to whomever gets the largest dough and takes the other dough. It's a war not launched by a gun, but by the most dangerous and influential man-made object ever: cold, hard cash. It's the battle of the wealthy against the wealthy in a battle without conquests, without invasions. It's a war that needs no nuclear weapons, no super soldiers, no super-dreadnoughts. It's a war that needs a slick tongue, a charismatic voice and a hell of alot of guts. It's a war of corporations amidst hundreds of nations.

Here's my premise - a large island is found in the southern tip of the Pacific, and it's dotted with resources. It could be consumed by a 6 billion year nation for centuries before actually drying up, so it's no doubt rich beyond imagination. The most valuable find in millenia, the first to come are not nations, but corporations. Cold, calculating business. Each person who is interested can sign up as a corporation, their intents, and fight other corporations for control of the island. While you may use physical weapons, it's much more damaging on a corporation to use other methods of attack.

If enough people join, I will join myself and we can start the role-play.

Nine, including me. I know some people are most likely going to drop out, so it's most likely only four or five going to actively RP it.

Here's my sample.

Henry rubbed the sleep out of his eyes, examining the long legged red head asleep next to him.

Now how she'd get there? He wondered absent mindedly. Gods, I need coffee.

He stumbled over to his coffee machine, and dumped the grounds and water in. By the time it was finished, and he returned to his bedroom, the red head was gone, leaving a note that read

"It was fun... whoever you are. Here's my number."

Henry shrugged, set the paper by the phone, and sat down on the bed sipping his coffee. He absent mindedly picked up the remote and switched on his television. That Matrix marathon was still running, and it was on the crappy one. He switched the channel to something telling him about some excercize machine, and watched, appreciating the woman demonstrating it.

Seems like enough for now, so the acceptance is Closed. I will allow more people in if needed, but otherwise not.

I will make the thread tommorrow (it is 6:00 pm-ish right now where I am).

Okay here's my sample. It fits to your requirements too. coffee and TV.

As Jason started to wake up in his cheap lumpy bed, he started to regret that the night before ever existed. And tequila for that matter. But what was done was done and his liver would just have to hate him. But as he lazily stared at the wall clock, all of these thoughts were forgotten. The big game would be on in twenty minutes, and he wasn’t even in the mood to move his arm, let alone get up and watch TV. He’d looked forward to this day all year and wouldn’t let one night nonstop shots ruin his day.

He had to work at it for a couple of minutes, but he was finally out of bed. Jason had to slowly blunder to the kitchen before he could get anything done. He needed coffee and possibly a few organs. But for now, coffee had to do. He sleepily walked to the cabinet, getting from it, the coffee and the aspirin. The breakfast of kings. He got the coffee pot ready for its daily duty before looking at the clock again. He only had seven minutes left. He hastened up a little bit, and got the coffee cooking. As he waited, he was reminded of the aspirin, after his headache worsened by the bubbling of pot making his life elixir. He quickly took the aspirin and retrieved his coffee mug. He waited for the pot to prepare a loving cup of the aromatic coffee. Time was beginning to be pressed and he needed his jo. He decided it wasn’t worth and poured what was ready at the time.

Jason’s footsteps echoed through his brain as he walked down the quiet hall to his TV den. As he approached, he hoped to god, he hadn’t lost the remote again. But his worries, were indeed useless as the remote was laid right by the TV. He turned it on quickly, and sat down. His morning anxiety spell was finally relieved after finding that the commentators had just started introducing the players. He sat back and enjoyed his hung over victory.

Damn, I'm too late. If I can, can I sign up with Independent Whyatica CentCom? It's one of the BIG Procter & Gamble style companies in Independent Whyatica, although there would be timeline issues with The Kraven Corporation.

thanks Jenrak. That's a real compliment coming from a person like you. I've only been able to start one thread though and like I said, I was stuck in it sith Spit Break. I've really been cautious since then. I haven't made another one because I'm afraid something like that will happen again.

The Kraven Chemical Incorporated - a Brief Overview

KCI is the Resource gathering arm of The Corporation, they also produce all major food products and clothing for the Citizen sector of The Corporation.

The KCI usually builds large facilities for producing chemicals, food produce, clothing and other resources needed by the Corporation, the Chemical plants also include the large and complex Smelting process required to remove the brittle properties of Irridium...

However it must be noted that The KCI makes extensive use of slave labour and is often supported by at least three or four Sturmpanzer Battalions, KCI personell look a lot like the Reichmarshals of The Secret Police, only have a royal blue trim to their lapels of their uniform.

In most circumstances, the KCI is just another wing of The Military but it will if needed use its Corporate power to sway things in its way, the KCI is ruthless in its endeavours, but also dark in its desires, often looking at a bigger picture than the Kraven Military does, KCI is often seen by the military as some what a loose cannon, but regards it as a necessary evil...

Doctor Richardson - Heads the KCI and is also the head researcher

Doctor Black - The advisor to Richardson, will often be seen lurking around in the background, no one knows much about this man, but is rumoured to be from The Agency

Reichmarshal Freidland - Head of Internal Affairs and Security, was one of Reichmarshal Helghans staff members before being promoted to this position, it must be noted that Freidland has a rather dark streak to him...

Kallan and Co Inc.

Started by three entreprenaurs years ago, Kallan and Co Inc rapidly became the premier IT provider in The Aeson. Branching out into several small countries, it also began providing a wider range of services, as well as begining practicing vertical intergration.

The result is Kallan and Co Airways, Kallan and Co Mining, and Kallan and Co. Armaments. In short, it's on the verge of becoming completely self sufficent.

Elite Security Force:

Mr. Kallan is protected by one of the best security forces money can buy. His personal security force is the size of some small nations' armies. On paper at least. In reality, only a tiny fraction of that actually protects Mr. Kallan. The rest are sent out to ensure the future of the corporation, through one means or another.

With the third partner being dead, Kallan and Co is headed up by Mr. Kallan and the man known as Faust.

Faust is mysterious and reclusive, no one can rememver the last time he was seen in public. The handsome, charismatic Mr. Kallan is a sharp contrast. At least, the man widely believed to be Mr. Kallan is.

oooh, info on Toopoxican Organisation

The Organisation builds and supplies weapons for Toopoxia and other nations who are in need of weaponary for a certain price of course.

Toopoxia primarily centers around Gases and Poisons, though a large sector deals in Weaponary, Tanks and Guns being the prime concern, it has contracts from many goverments around the worldincluding it's own Toopoxia.

The Shady Stuff:

Due to its involvement in messy wars where bounty hunters have been used the Organisation has been able to become close allies of the Bounty Hunters and even puts them out to employ, they range from the lowest PI to the highest Hitman.

Important Characters and Soldiers:

Lucian Brave:
Owner and CEO of the Toopoxican Organisation, he currently resides in Volitaia but may consider visiting the island to oversee the mining of the place.

Akre Toops:
Russian Hitman at large, uses an AK47 to increddible accuracy, only used in emergencies.

Toxitroopers:
Short for Toxic Troopers, they deal in Gases and Poisons, as such they operate in the Black Environmental suits, bog-standard soldiers are equipped with AK's and are quickly trained, the elites are more thouroughly trained and operate with a Sniper Rifle with various bullets of poisons and have several different canisters of toxins on hand.

Those Toopoxicans are bastards...

Bio: Ruthless, brilliant, charismatic and quite possibly a sociopath- Andrew Kurtz has everything it takes to be a CEO in today’s bloodthirsty market. It was under his administration, ten years ago, that NoirTech- then GenTech- branched out from pharmaceuticals and entered the risky field of arms development. Since that time Kurtz has muscled out, absorbed, or crushed much of the competition, but several key competitors still remain a thorn in the Shark’s side. With the discovery of an resource rich island ripe for the taking, Kurtz hopes to use his political, monetary clout to gain an advantage on his enemies… but he is not above using NoirTech’s mercenary army either.

Key Players:

The Board: A group of assertive, wealthy, and power hungry backers of NoirTech. They support the autocratic Kurtz in almost everything he does.

Doctor Victor Quinn, Director of Research: A chain smoking, arrogant, and ingenious man- Quinn is not hindered by morals, ethics or legality when it comes to his research. He has developed some of the most lethal bio-weaponry to date… including monstrosities he calls “living weapons.” The full extent of his research and exactly what these “living weapons” might be is unknown to all but the upper echelon of NoirTech management.

Osmond “Hammerhead” Saddler, head of Kurtz’s bodyguard team: Kurtz’s favorite goon, Saddler had his nervous system replaced with high tech “Bio nerves” designed by Dr. Quinn. As a result, his reflexes are inhumanly fast and he is incredibly strong ((within reason… no godmodding here)). An unfortunate side effect of his “changes” however, is Osmond’s loss of sanity. He is a cruel, gibbering lunatic who enjoys nothing but the suffering of others.

Colonel Katherine Gladstone: As beautiful as she is deadly, Katie Gladstone heads NoirTech’s elite mercenary army. She is a tactical genius and a suave politician.
