Alright, so this RP will have two purposes:

1) To help me figure out, by experience, the process of RPs in the strangely warped world of NationStates RPing.

2) To have fun!

So, here's what I intend to do:
RP a terrorist attack on my country (The Allied States of Industrial Collectives) with me defending and one or two people RPing terrorists. Details can be figured out later, but I would like to predetermine the success/failure of the attack, so there isn't any "Bang! You're dead!" kind of crap going on.

Anyone interested?

I'm interested, thought not with my main nation.

Instead of being terrorists I could send a 'peace keeping' force from my nation after your attack. Just an idea:)

1) no (my civil rights are a World Benchmark
2)no
3) 45% Catholic 45% Jewish 5% other (so I think either could qualify as a major religion)

1) Just that any religion of more than 100 people must register itself and provide records of its activities. Other than that, just normal stuff like 'no human sacrifices' and 'no jihads'.
2) Yes, there is a governmentally favored religion, but it's not mandated on anyone.
3) Christianity. That's the one in #2 as well.

Also, just for anyone who got confused, the terrorist attack I had planned would be an outside attack, although not from any specific nation. Just a wacko religion that spread via the internet and decided they didn't like the Industrial Collective.

So I can't be the terrorists? I mean, they are a wacko offshoot of my nations main religion, and I'm sure the internet helped somewhat in their spread. Pleease?

Well, the Ehznoist foot soldiers are the ones you'd be facing. They're usually well trained, often ex-police or millitary. They're also fanatical. They'll willingly and eagerly die for their cause, to say nothing of killing. Weaponry is mostly AK-47s and improvised bombs, although you can expect some sniper rifles and land mines if things start heating up.

I've got some spare Kraven armor, but last time they used it Kraven attacked, so that probably won't come into play.

Nah. Just shot a bunch of people back in that original Ehznoist rising. They did blow up about half of your palace, but we retconned that.

Local police and antiterrorist forces - the equivalent of the Guardia Civil.

Aeson, of course you can be the terrorists - I just didn't want to deal with the diplomacy of "Oh, you sent terrorists at me? Have at ye, fiend!"

Gandae, your question can be clarified a little more - the forces from the Industrial Collective will be lightly armed strike teams and snipers, your basic urban warfare group.

Of course, the terrorists don't get tanks and nukes either - the details of their attack are still open for discussion. I'm thinking the same light weaponry, plus two or three bombs they are intending to blow up something with?

If it's me it will probably be either a major governmental building or a Christian church. And don't worry, the Ehznoists are in no way endorsed by my nation.

Aeson, I like your Ehznoist stuff - I'm a newb, so I don't have as much information compiled yet.

So... how about an Ehznoist attack on a Christian center, somewhere in an urban city? Its success (or failure) will depend on a coin flip.

Tails. The attack fails, but everything leading up to that is to be determined in the RP.

All right. Although that is just the initial attack. <.< Hmm. I'll have to think about this. I don't usually use attacks that have the potential to easily fail. I suppose I'll have a sniper take a shot at the preacher/pastor/minister/priest/whatever.

Okay. But something as simple as a hit on a priest wouldn't be much of an RP. I was thinking that maybe the Ehznoist cell could be caught in the middle of preparing a bomb, then most of them get away and from there the free-form RP begins. Bombs are good.

That... could work. It would change from my usual methods of having the bomb discreetly delivered by a certain Mafia, but saves me money to use cheaper explosives. Do you want to start the RP or should I?

By the way, I'm assuming that everything like time period and technology are standard today's weaponry - bulletproof armor, some grenades, and assault rifles/pistols/sniper rifles

Well, my nation is PMT, but I suppose that since the Ehznoists have less funding than my millitary, they'd be using MT stuff. Or somewhat PT like the AK-47s.
