The Resurrection of the Thrashian Empire (FT)
Thrashia
15-06-2006, 12:29
The bright dawning of the sun over the Dor Lomin sky blazed like a beacon in the black of nothingness. The home world of Thrashia, its sprawling massive cities and villages, came awake to greet the sun’s rays. Farmers rose from their beds, prepared for the days work in fields; workers trudged their way through massive industrial complexes, soot and grease covering them even after a washing; uncounted thousands of accountants, senators, civil workers and Guild members traveled the sky-lanes to their places of work.
Treize Kushrenada stood at the window of his office which stood on the 88th floor of the old Imperial Palace Center, once the civilian authorities’ headquarters under Emperor Shadaum IV, now however converted to suit his Excellency’s government.
Treize had woken early this day, earlier than he normally did which had been as he had planned. Today was unlike anything in the past and would determine the future of Thrashia. Today a history of honor and power would be restored.
Behind Treize a knock came at the mahogany door.
“Enter.”
The door opened and the sound of jack-boots resounded off the walls of the room. Treize didn’t turn to look at his aide, Major Viscount. The major, dressed in his Imperial Reserve uniform, came to a smart military snap attention in front of the great polished desk which Treize stood behind.
“Reporting as requested your Excellency,” said Major Viscount. The major could barely contain his joy or keep his emotions from entering his monotone voice.
Treize turned and looked at his aide. “Is my car ready?” he asked.
“Yes your Excellency, its waiting downstairs,” replied Viscount eagerly. “And all of OZ High Command, General Nai’dine and the others, are waiting in another transport ready to go.”
“Very good, then let us go.” Treize put on his long black cape for warmth and followed his aide out of the office. They went into a personal lift and arrived at the surface level of the building. Four OZ soldiers stood at attention. They looked with a distinct dislike at the Imperial Reserve officer but made no comment.
Treize ignored them all and walked through them to the great plas-glass doors of the building. A great arch over the doorway blocked out the sun for a moment as Treize stepped out. Major Viscount walked forward from behind and led the way to a waiting black air car. He opened the door and allowed for Treize to enter.
There sitting in the space across from the seat that Treize had just taken was Grand Admiral Ver’ack and Major General Bast. They saluted together as Treize got comfortable in his seat. “Your Excellency.”
Treize smiled. “Gentlemen, good to see you; I trust you are prepared for today?” he asked. The air car rumbled as its engines revved to life and sped them on their way.
Grand Admiral Ver’ack (http://i19.photobucket.com/albums/b184/Upum/Star%20Wars/447px-MorlishVeed.jpg), his short white trimmed hair visible without a normal fleet officer’s cap, nodded as did Major General Bast. Ver’ack was dressed in the old formal stark white uniform of a Grand Admiral and Bast was dressed in the olive green of the Imperial Reserve Army, the contrast between the two was very pronounced.
“Good,” said Treize. “Today will see the dawning of a new chapter in Thrashian history.” Both men nodded in agreement.
The air car traveled for hundreds of kilometers out of the city proper into the surrounding mountain range. Two Eta-2 fighters, converted for inner-atmospheric fighting, flew over head, guarding the car. A second air car, one containing General Nai’dine and the commanding officers of the OZ organization joined the troupe at a military check point. The high mountains over shadowed them as the two air cars entered an entrance that led into the side of the mountain. The Eta-2 fighters swooped off and returned to the space port.
Inside the mountain entrance, large metal blast doors opened and allowed the air cars to enter. Soldiers dressed in black uniforms opened the doors to the air cars when they came to a stop. Waiting for the assembled men to come forward was a tall man dressed in the same black uniform as the guards, but with several medals and gold epaulettes on his shoulders.
The man bowed when Treize stepped forward. “Your Excellency, welcome to Section 3 Headquarters.” The Imperial Reserve officers and the OZ officers looked at Commander Dimitri, leader of the Thrashian Intelligence, Section 3; his group’s black uniforms in stark contrast to the Imperial olive green and white, and the OZ powdered blue.
“If you’ll follow me?” asked Commander Dimitri. He turned on his boot heel and led the group to a small metal entrance door in the wall. On either side black armored guards stood at attention. Above the door a red-eye scanning device looked at the assembled men.
“Clearance?” asked a computerized voice.
“Commander Dimitri, authorization feda-3-omega,” the intelligence officer said. The computer seemed to think for a moment and then a draw opened from the wall, revealing a plastic hand-print scanning device. Without a word Dimitri put his hand on it and a red light scanned up and down. The computer seemed satisfied.
“Authorization accepted.” With an audible click the door opened, revealing that it was several inches thick. Dimitri stood to the side and allowed Treize and the others to enter first.
The group entered a great stone carved corridor, the walls slick with water residue. The lights were dim but Commander Dimitri led the group through the passage with an air of familiarity and since Treize did not comment on it, neither did the assembled officers.
They finally entered a large room. It was plain with no adornment or decoration of any kind. Once everyone had entered Dimitri opened a side hatch in the wall, cleverly hidden, and pressed a series of button.
Around the room wall panels opened revealing windows at waste height and above. The officers turned, surprised to find themselves in a large cave cavern. With a rumble the room began to actually move, it was in fact a lift.
“Interesting,” said Treize. He smiled at Commander Dimitri who simply shrugged and gave a half smile with the curve of his lips. The room-lift traveled far into the depths, going steadily deeper and deeper. They passed great stalagmite concentrations and underground streams.
“Where is this going?” asked General Nai’dine. The OZ commander was looking slightly ill at ease.
“Worried about something Fortunato?” asked Dimitri. The other men laughed at the old jibe, the story from Old Terra.
“So long as the Amontillado is a good vintage, I couldn’t possibly be,” replied the aged OZ general. The group laughed again. Suddenly light cascaded into the room as they exited their cavern path. Suddenly they found themselves suspended in the air and below them was a magnificent underground pocket of space.
“My God!” said one Oz officer. The others went to the edge of the windows and gazed down at the huge collection of buildings, training fields, industrial workings; the clockwork of Section 3.
“Gentlemen allow me to show you the Section 3 Geo-Front. This is our headquarters and location of our private industrial complex. It is protected by 40 layers of armored bulk heads, more than capable of surviving even the most severe of orbital bombardments by either nuclear or other means. We also have our own oxygen supply that is autonomous from that of Dor Lomin proper,” said Commander Dimitri proudly.
The Geo-Front project had begun more then three decades earlier when the then Colonel Marius had created the Section 3 Intelligence arm, it had been his pet project. Since then it had been the location for many of Thrashia’s technological as well as information gathering innovations and breakthroughs.
“Impressive Commander Dimitri,” said Major General Bast. The Imperial Reserve Army commander was looking over the myriad complex of buildings. He himself had already been down here before with Excellency Treize; however he had been briefed before hand not to allow that to show.
“Thank you General,” said Dimitri.
The room-lift came to halt once more inside a tall building which connected a series of lifts to the surface. Commander Dimitri led them out into a waiting transport which sped through the Section 3 city that was eerily without the normal traffic of a city. They came to a stop before a tall ministry building where black armored guards stood outside at attention. It was the largest building complex in the Geo-Front.
“You were rather hazy in explaining this meeting today your Excellency,” said General Nai’dine. “Do you want to express more on the subject?”
“All in good time general, all in good time; I will not need to explain as soon as we come to where Commander Dimitri will give a presentation,” replied Treize with a mysterious grin.
They entered the sterile-clean building, white walls and plas-steel floors making it almost shine. Commander Dimitri led them down the corridors; they passed white robed men and women who seemed focused on some unknown but vital work, and then they entered a large chamber. At the far end was an exit onto what looked like a balcony. The room contained a large metallic table with chairs placed all around it. Treize seated himself as did the other officers.
“Now, I will explain to you why you are all here,” said Treize. He noted with amusement how the Imperial Reserve officers and the OZ officers sat apart from each other in their respective groups.
“I have looked into the Imperial Archives and from them drawn a new idea,” continued Treize. “I have decided to resurrect certain things from our Imperial past.”
The OZ officers started visibly. It was after all they who had led the Specials forces in the coup de’tat that had placed Treize in power.
“What do you mean? What ‘certain things’ are you talking about?” asked General Nai’dine.
“I am disbanding the OZ organization,” said Treize. “And as of tomorrow, at about this time, I will be crowned Emperor Treize Kushrenada I.”
“Impossible!” shouted General Nai’dine, outraged. The OZ officers began yelling at Treize, hardly noticing as white armored figures entered the room behind them.
“Gentlemen I can understand your feelings, however I have decided that you are no longer of use to me. I thank you for your cooperation,” said Treize.
The OZ offices finally heard the shambling footsteps behind them and turned to see a squad of white armored stormtroopers standing their with their blaster rifles leveled and ready for use. None of them made a sound.
“Sergeant, escort these men from the room please,” ordered Treize. “See to it that they are taken care of.”
“Yes my lord,” said the stormtrooper sergeant. He motioned with his rifle and his men pushed the OZ officers out of their seats. General Nai’dine was speechless as they hustled him from his chair.
“You can’t do this!” called one officer. “We fought for you!”
“And now your services are no longer needed,” replied Treize. The group was taken from the room and the door shut. Treize turned to Grand Admiral Ver’ack and Major General Bast. Each of them had very satisfied grins on their faces.
“I trust you gentlemen are satisfied?” asked Treize. Both officers nodded.
“We are lord,” said Bast. “We will handle our part of the bargain tomorrow at your coronation.”
“Good,” said Treize. He turned to Commander Dimitri. “Commander, I think it is time to show our friends here our little pet project.”
“Project?” asked Ver’ack. Commander Dimitri, his blond hair waving from the air conditioning, nodded with a very enthusiastic smile.
“Of course sire, let us retire to the balcony.”
Treize and Dimitri led Ver’ack and Bast to the doorway of a large marble balcony. It overlooked a gigantic parade ground. There standing at perfect attention and fully armed and armored stood 10,000 stormtroopers.
“Gentlemen, as of this day I am resurrecting a new army unit. These stormtroopers are clones, the best that Thrashia has yet created. They are trained to perfection better even than those of Carida, Anaxes, or Kamino. I present to you the newly reformed 501st Stormtrooper Legion,” said Treize.
Both Imperial officers were at a loss of words. The 501st had been the elite of the elite in the older days of the Galactic Empire. It was a master stroke of genius, to resurrect this unit; whose very name inspired fear in the hearts of any enemy. Major General Bast was simply dumfounded by how powerful this addition to the Imperial Army would be. He looked over the neat rows of the stormtroopers, noticing the small red galactic empire symbol that was painted onto their left shoulders, with the number ‘501’ at its center.
“It my friends, is a gift to the Imperial Army and it is, like you, loyal to me,” said Treize. “Enjoy it.”

In accordance with Treize’s order for OZ to be disbanded, thousands of OZ officers were arrested and summarily executed all across Thrashian space. Imperial troops occupied key locations and several old droid armies were activated to help maintain order in the extreme case that OZ would resist.
It was a repeat of the coup de’tat that Treize himself had initiated more than a decade before. Only now the tables had turned.
Because the times demanded a strong military force for the nation’s protection, Treize made a deal with the Imperial Fleet and Army high command. In return for the entire Imperial Armed Forces oath of loyalty to Treize until death, Treize agreed to betray and destroy OZ, his own organization which was still very young and untried.
It all happened within 38 hours time. The citizens of Thrashia themselves were told that several officers of OZ under the direction of the popular OZ General Nai’dine had tried to assassinate his Excellency Treize. This had brought outrage by the populace and many called for the entire organization to be put on trial. Treize however maneuvered the blood-thirsty mobs to attack harmless shadows.
Treize himself made a public statement calling for the need of unity among Thrashians, that they required strong leadership. As such the populace called for Treize to be given the title of Emperor, this was encouraged by Treize’s agents who were hidden among the people. Because Treize himself was distantly related to the late Emperor Shadaum, he was able to claim a blood-tie; furthering his claims.
However, in a show of not wanting to betray the peoples trust, Treize organized a system-wide vote; a vote of self determination for the people. In their thousands Thrashian citizens lined the streets outside of voting houses and state offices. By the end of a 48 hour voting period, it had been found that 97% of the population wished for Treize to be crowned Emperor. And with the backing of the Imperial Armed Forces, that is exactly what Treize planned and seemed the natural course.

Light cascaded through the colored glass windows of the great Cathedral Leovachi in a torrent of colors, displaying the various hues of light. Rose petals fell from side balconies as small children threw baskets of them into the air. A small symphony played a soothing and yet majestic tune in their corner alcove of the cathedral. The hundreds of pews were packed full with Thrashian citizens who were dressed in their most expensive and beautiful trappings. A single blood red carpet lay on the floor, defining a path that led through the pews to a great golden alter where a tall priest stood, dressed in the robes and jewels that represented him as a cardinal of the Church of Thrashia.
The coronation ceremony was beginning. With a sudden sharp rise in the flowing music the rear tall oak doors opened. A crier stepped forward through the blinding afternoon sunlight.
“I present to you the emperor to be, his Excellency and royal knight of Thrashia, Treize Kushrenada the First.”
The crier stepped aside as four stormtroopers dressed in ceremonial white-gold armor stepped through the door way. They marched in and then stopped after ten paces and then faced inwards, forming an honor guard.
Finally, Treize himself stepped through the doors. He wore a great blue cape lined with snow white fur. Beneath this he wore white pants with a blue stripe going up the sides, his black knee-high boots resounded with an air of authority. He wore a blue, white, and gold tunic that showed the Kushrenada coat-of-arms and a small Imperial Crest. His brown flaxen hair was combed and styled as he normally had it, yet his apparel caused him to look like a monarch; which was the point he had stated to his aide before arriving at the Cathedral Leovachi.
Listening to the slow march of the symphony Treize walked forward along the red carpet, his four honor guards followed at the required ten paces. As he passed Thrashian citizens stood and took off their caps or bonnets, women curtsied and men partially bowed. Treize kept his eyes trained on the aged cardinal that stood at the foot of the alter.
Treize stepped up to the first marble stair of the alter. He went to one knee and bowed his head. The cardinal lifted his hands in the air and with slow steps came down to Treize. The music was silenced and not a whisper could be heard besides the calm intakes of breathe.
“Oh Holy Lord and Protector, we your children this day hereby wish to recognize to our Lord a man whom we have found to be a light in the world’s darkness. We have seen in him your workings and with your blessing through me your loyal servant we will bestow upon him the power and the title in which to enact your will,” said the Cardinal in a booming voice. Treize lifted his head and looked at the cardinal.
“Do you, Treize Kushrenada I, Royal Knight of Thrashia and Protector of the sovereign nation of Thrashia, accept the burden of Emperor?”
“I do,” said Treize, matching the cardinal’s volume.
“Do you swear by the Lord High Protector and God to keep your people safe, to guide them in their time of need, to be a scourge to our enemies, and a man of true heart to our allies?”
“I do.”
“Then step forward my son,” said the Cardinal.
The cardinal turned around, his red robe-cape flashing, and began walking up the steps of the alter. Treize stood and walked forward slow and deliberately, following the cardinal. The cardinal came to stand next to a golden table that had a white linen sheet upon it. At its center rested the ancient royal crown of Thrashia, a treasure that had been preserved and been the symbol of Thrashian royal power for over a thousand years.
It was a golden circle with red, blue, yellow, green and purple gems. Diamonds sparkled as the crown was lifted up by the cardinal. Treize kneeled once more before the alter, looking up into the heavens that were shining down upon him through the windows like a spotlight.
“I Cardinal Senior Mathias Dopier of the Royal Church of Thrashia, hereby crown thee Emperor and high protector of Thrashia!”
The cardinal stepped forward and set the crown upon Treize’s head. Treize did not move, letting the weight of the crown rest on him for a moment, and then it slipped comfortably onto his head as if made for him. He stood and turned to face the audience.
As one every citizen of Thrashia, including those who were standing in the streets outside the cathedral, and even those watching on other worlds and systems, spoke aloud.
“Long live Emperor Treize Kushrenada I!”
Then they all bowed, going to one knee. The cardinal even did so as well. Treize breathed all this in, fully enjoying this moment, a moment he had dreamed of for several years.
Now…I am Emperor.

Within the capital city of Thrashia the streets were filled with milling citizens, cheering, drinking, dancing, singing, all celebrating the new coronation and rise of Thrashia’s new Emperor, Treize Kushrenada. It had been more than thirty years since an Emperor had been in power in Thrashia, and many of the older citizens were smiling among the crowd, remembering the stability and prosperity that had been present in the old days under Emperor Shadaum IV and his house.
It was along the main faraway, Arvestos Boulevard that the Emperor Treize sat on a raised platform, sitting with his advisors and the high command of the Imperial Fleet and Army. Major General Bast and Grand Admiral Ver’ack both looked tremendously pleased at the proceedings.
A large military parade was in progress. The Fleet Academy’s cadet band, which normally played at graduations or holiday celebrations, marched along the past the Emperor’s stand playing the ‘Imperial March’ that the head master of the school had chosen for the occasion. Treize was pleased when he listened.’
General Bast leaned next to Treize. “Soon my lord Emperor, you will see something very fantastic.” Treize smiled and nodded in response. General Bast had arranged the parade, and he was sure that whatever the General came up with would be grandiose.
Still dressed in the outfit in which he had been crowned Treize felt quite comfortable. A silver tray nearby held food from which he could choose, it held all sorts of Thrashian and off-world food-stuffs. A cup of fine wine was also nearby, waiting on him. Behind him stood three young women, his concubines, all beautiful and talented women who had asked to serve him. It’s good to be the Emperor, he thought.
“Here it is!” said Bast. Treize turned his attention away from behind him to look down at the street.
There marching in perfect unison were the 501st stormtrooper legion, along with several other legions as well. Their sharp snap-smack of marching boots was a profoundly beautiful music to Treize. He always treasured fine soldiers. And before him marched the best.
The 501st with its red Imperil symbol markings, was not the only legion that Treize had had Thrashian clone operators create. There was also the 41st Legion, the 212th Attack Battalion, and even the famed 9th Assault Corp. He had searched through dozens of records on the Galactic Clone Wars and found the best operating units whose records were available. And with Treize’s recent alliance with the Galactic Empire, it had not been hard to obtain tissue samples.
However the 501st and its fellow Legions which marched by were not the only surprise that Treize had formulated in his reign of power before taking the title of emperor. He had long planned for this day, and as such was prepared for when a new and last group of soldiers marched forward.
They were tall and wore red armor over black tunics and leggings. Each of them wore a black cape with red trimming over their shoulders, and had a stylized helmet. They also had small hand-held looking cylinders hanging from their belts.
There were forty of them in all. The lead red armored soldier came forward up to Emperor Treize and bowed. Major General Bast and Grand Admiral Ver’ack didn’t know what to think of this soldier. His uniform was not one they recognized, even with the Imperial symbol on his shoulders.
“My lord emperor!” said Bast, seeing the cylinder and recognizing it for what it was. “Why does this soldier have a lightsaber!?” he asked, alarmed.
Treize smiled and stood. The soldier removed his helmet, revealing a head of matted black hair and stern hard black-brown eyes. A light seemed to be shining like a star behind those cold eyes as they studied Bast and Ver’ack. The man bowed to Treize as did the group behind the new comer.
“Gentlemen, my I present to you Grand Master Draco Tyrol (http://i19.photobucket.com/albums/b184/Upum/Star%20Wars/321px-AntaresDraco.jpg),” said Treize. He walked forward and placed his hand on the shoulder of the kneeling man. He smiled at the general and grand admiral.
“Master Draco here is the leader and head master of my new order. I am well aware of the Coredians Jedi, how Thrashia has never exhibited a group of Force wielders in its armed forces or to help in its protection. Since the Sith are too dangerous to have as more than an ally and I have no like for Jedi…I have created the Order of the Imperial Knights,” said Treize.
Grand Master Draco stood. “My students and fellow Imperial Knights swear an oath of fealty to you our Emperor Treize Kushrenada and your house for so long as we live,” the Imperial Knight intoned, his voice deep and resonant.
Grand Admiral Ver’ack and General Bast were opened mouthed. It was truly an unprecedented occasion. Force users that were not a part of the Dark Side, serving an Emperor?! Yet the more the two thought about it the more sense they saw in it and the possibilities.
“They will be a great asset to our forces,” said Grand Admiral Ver’ack.
Treize nodded. “They will also serve as my personal guard. Now onto better things.” He turned to Grand Master Draco. “You are dismissed for the moment.”
“My Lord,” said Draco. He bowed and turned smartly on his heel, his cape swishing around with him. He led the group of Imperial Knights off down the street, continuing the parade.
Treize looked at his advisors. “I think it is time we sent out invitations to other nations. I wish to have a dinner thrown for the occasion.”
A tepid looking and scrawny man whose small chin caused him to look like an elongated lizard nodded and smiled. It didn’t suit him. “Of course my lord Emperor, I will see to it as soon as I return to my ministry.”
Treize sat once more on his chair and the parade continued, the ever endless line of stormtroopers, army troopers, and fleet troopers continuing their musical cadence at a rhythm that Bast found pleasing. Scores of Tie Interceptor and Eta-2 fighters soared over head, making Ver’ack proud of his new pilot cadet class that was operating the machines for the parade. And Minister Fergusson was concocting the plans for a new royal ball.
In honor of his majesty Emperor Treize Kushrenada I's coronation and ascention to the royal throne of Thrashia, a ball and feast shall be held for those nations who wish to send dignitaries or their head of states wish to congratulate his Excellency personally. Coordinates to the Julian System, where any arrivals will be gathered, are within this message. His majesty shall be expecting you.

The Civil War that was threatening to come to the Planet Bekhaera itself loomed greatly over parts of the universe with Bekhaeran ruled planets but even in these dark days the Holy Empire saw fit to send its finest emissaries to the far reaches to gain alliances and new friends
Master Taiku or Kinghelm Taiku as he used to be known was the chosen representative of the Empire, he was second in commande of the High Guard, an instituition merelty a hundred years old but had amassed such power that the Empire was safe..until Rifi seized power over the far end of the empire
Taiku was given direct orders to head to the planet Thrashia and attend the ball put on by the newly crowned Emperor Treize, although remnants of OZ could be found even in Bekhaeran space and they had joined the High Guard, Taiku and his Emperor Rin III still saw fit he attend
It had been three days now...three days since Master Taiku had received his orders to help forge an alliance.... and three days he had gone without sleep, luckily he would get some before they arrived in Thrashia...even if they had passed several Thrashian cruisers whilst entering Thrashian space Tiku sensed that things were not as they seemed but what did he know...he had arrived all too soon at the planet and the ship's captain hailed the planet
"This is the vessel Orion II, may we enter orbit, we are the Bekhaeran delegation" Captain Nashadar asked whilst Taiku dressed in his official uniform, a livery of scarlet and white, unusual as the other officers wore pale blue green and white but this showed that Taiku was a cut above the rest

Julian System, Fleet Patrol, Venator II Star Destroyer Reverance
The smooth running of a starship was something that Captain Fayd always liked. Never one piece of the machinery that ran his ship was ever out of place and he had always seen to it that the men under his command were in tip-top shap.
Captain Fayd was about to order for his evening tea to be served when a sudden blare of sensory alarms went off.
"Whats the situation?" Captain Fayd asked. His adjutant turned from the sensor controls.
"We've detected an unknown ship in sector 47. We're tracking now sir," said the lieutenant.
"Hail them, and if that doesn't get a response, blast them!" said Captain Fayd. Before he could say more however Fayd was interupted by the comms officer. The man had his hand to his ear and was listening intently.
"Sir, we've just intercepted a transmission from the ship...I'll patch it to the main screen," said the comm officer. His hands flew over the controls in a praticed motion and within a moment Captain Fayd had the message before him.
This is the vessel Orion II, may we enter orbit, we are the Bekhaeran delegation
Suddenly it clicked in Captain Fayd's mind. Emperor Treize had ordered that any ships coming for his Coronation Celebration would be arriving at these coordinates. These Bekhaerans were obviously the first arrivals on the guest list.
"Comms, get me a open channel. Make sure its secure however. I want no slip ups," ordered Fayd. "Also, alert Central Command of this event."
"Yes Captain."
The controller worked for a few minutes longer and fiddled with his controls. Finally he nodded and gave the thumbs-up sign that Captain Fayd had an open channel. Fayd cleared his throat and pressed the 'send' button on his command chair.
Greetings, I am Captain Fayd of the Imperial Fleet on my ship the Reverance. I have orders to escort your ship to a designated zone. If you will, accompany the following vector path and I will guide you in.

"Thank you very much captain Fayd, we shall enter orbit now" Captain Nashadar replied as the Orion II entered the Thrashian orbit
Once there Taiku & Nashadar exited the Orion II to be greeted by soldiers who looked eerily similar to the countless millions who had allied themselves with bothy sides in the Bekhaeran Civil war
"I am Master Taiku and this is Captain Nashadar of the Bekhaeran High Guard, we bring condolences off Emperor Rin himself, he is sorry he could not be here himself but has sent us in his stead to discuss importanmt matters also to immerse ourself in Thrashian life" Taiku said as he extended his hand out in friendship, Nashadar looked on at the many soldiers of this new empire, how could Treize have amassed such a force in so short a time... they were'nt OZ...they were something much more united..something more powerful
OOC: Thrash, what about that "Blood and Iron" thread? Aren't we going to finnish it?

The Reverance had guided the Orion II out to the 3rd planet in the system, Proctus II, where a large orbital docking station was in use by the Imperial Navy. Captain Fayd had the ship take up a docking spot next to two Victory II-class Star Destroyers and a Dreadnought which was in for repairs and a refit.
When the new comers exited their ship they were met by Commander Tion, the man who oversaw the orbital docking station and had been ordered by Emperor Treize to handle the transaction of guests to the transport that would take them to Dor Lomin.
Two of them, one an obvious military type man and the other a mystery stepped forward. The man with the unknown looking origins began speaking.
"I am Master Taiku and this is Captain Nashadar of the Bekhaeran High Guard, we bring condolences from Emperor Rin himself, he is sorry he could not be here himself but has sent us in his stead to discuss importanmt matters also to immerse ourself in Thrashian life."
Commander Tion took the offered handshake and smiled.
"Welcome to the Orbital Docking Station Wellington. I am Commander Tion, your host for the moment. I will be bringing you and any other important officials with me to one of our transports which will take you to the Dor Lomin system, where the party shall take place. Do you have any questions?" asked Commander Tion.
He was aware of the searching eyes of the Captain Nashadar. Here was obviously a cautious man. Master Taiku seemed to offset this by a friendly demenor and almost jovial voice. Tion was satisfied with just the fact that he didn't need to entertain them for long and he could continue with his real duties.

Commander Tion’s eyebrows furrowed as he turned to look around. Several officers and other on duty soldiers were about the area, most of them were either stormtrooper officers in their black uniforms are off duty fleet officers in their olive grays. Commander Tion looked back at Captain Nashadar.
“All of the personnel you see here are members of the Thrashian Imperil Armed Forces; we’ve had close ties in the past to the Galactic Empire and since those old times have adopted similar uniforms. That may be why you recognize them.”
Tion nodded when Master Taiku spoke. “Indeed, and now if you will, follow me. I will lead you to your transport. From there I believe another officer will lead you in.”
Commander Tion turned and led the way down the halls. Two stormtroopers took up flanking positions and followed as well.

Taiku took a deep breathe in and realised that things were so different compared to when he was a child, war was on Bekhaera's borders once more...and thsi tiem they knew their enemy... it was their own people
But this event would help calm his nerves he hoped and also help his people

Commander Tion came to one of the main hangers of the Wellington Docking Station. There was a shuttle waiting for the two guests. Tion turned to face them.
"Gentlemen I leave you here. Captain Quad of the Marduk will be escorting you through the Haileys Corden to our home system of Dor Lomin where you will me his Excellency, Emperor Treize. I wish a good journey and good luck," said Tion. He bowed and left the hanger.
Down the long ramp of the shuttle came another officer, dressed in the Fleet's olive gray. He stepped up to the two guests and gave a short bow.
"I am Lieutenant Vernius, adjutant to Captain Quad. Ready to depart?" the lieutenant asked.
ooc: sure, I guess that is fine.

In Duskhun , the false emperor, Praetor Rifi had heard of Treize's ascension and his cleanisng of OZ, like those who escaped to the High Guard, many OZ had joined the new empire Rifi had created, he didn not care for OZ's past only of uniting his divided people and he had a taste for gaining new allies
"Dimmu... head to Thrashian space and contact oen of their forward bases, you are to attend the ball they have placed on, please give my congratulatiosn to Treize himself, I have heard much of him... he is a kindred spirit of sorts" Rifi ordered Dimmu, a thirty something general, dressed in all black Dimmu was regarded as a hero amongst both sides in the civil war...except he was torn between both sides, he chose Rifi because he had lost his love of Bekhaera
"Very well my lord, I shall attend and begin negotiations at once" Dimmu replied, he was one for formalities always
"Oh and Dimmu...please loosen up... show them a softer side... it is better for them to know we aren't barbaric" asked Rifi, Dimmu nodded and headed to hsi vessel, The Red Circle
The RC had arrive on the outskirts of a Thrashian system and relayed this message
"This is General Dimmu of the Duskhun Empire vessel, Red Circle, requesting permission to attend the event being held by the Emperor Treize"
Meanwhile...
Taiku and Nashadar were greeted By Tion who told them they woudl be travelling with Captain Quad of the Marduk, both men agreed and were met by Quads's second,Lieutenant Vernius
"We are ready to depart whnever Captain Quad and the Marduk are ready to leave" Taiku replied to the Lieutenant

"Very well then." Lieutenant Vernius stepped to the side of the ramp. "If you'll come inside, we can set off."
The two embassadors of Bekhaera nodded their thanks and walked up the metal ramp of the shuttle and entered its darkened depths. Lieutenant Vernius put his hand up to his comm bead. Speaking into it in low tones he informed Captain Quad of their imminent arrival and was given clearance from Wellington Docking Command to launch.
The Lieutenant walked up the ramp just as it began closing and chose a seat in the hold next to the two guests.
"Have no worries, we'll be arriving aboard the Marduk shortly," he said cheerily. He hated being away from his ship, however orders had been orders, and it made him happy to be returning.
The shuttle navigated its way through the varried traffic of the appraoch lanes of the docking station and headed to an awaiting Imperial Star Destroyer. The behemouth star ship hung in high orbit awaiting the shuttle. Once the pilot recieved clearance and exchanged proper hailing calls, he docked in the central hanger.
With the shuttle recieved the Marduk Imperial Star Destroyer turned from its position and corrected a proper vector path towards the first jump point. It moved outside the shadow of the planet's mass and entered hyperspace.

Captain Fitzgerald stood on the bridge of his Carrack cruiser patrolling the outer edges of Julian space. His grizzled beard and hair stood out at odd angles, in contrast to his smooth and sleek Fleet uniform. He was running through his mind the recent game of regicide that he had played with Captain Pinahka, when suddenly an alarm went off from the CommScan station.
"Warning captain, ship exiting hyperspace at sector 89, grid 3. We're tracking..." said the technician sitting at the controls. "From what I have thus far its signature matches nothing in our records."
Captain Fitzgerald frowned. "Activate turbolasers, and ready for possible attack."
"Aye sir."
The mysterious ship came out of hyperspace at the appointed place that CommScan had detected. Fitzgerald was slightly put-off when he noticed its size. Seems to be a scout ship... he mused.
"Sir, we're receiving a transmission. Its hazy but I've been able to lock onto its source channel," the comms officer said. He had a hand up to his communication headset. "I'll patch it through."
"This is the No_State_At_All scout sloop Pariah to local system authorities. We recieved an invitation to a coronation ceremony in a nation known as thrashia. As we have had no contact with said nation before, we have come here to intiate first contact."
Knew it was a scout thought Fitzgerald. He smiled to himself and nodded as he heard the message. He of course had been alerted that guests would arrive in to the Julian System. He just wished that they had more warning.
"Get me a reciprocal line," ordered Captain Fitzgerald. The comms officer worked quickly and even plugged in a few wires at his consol before he gave the thumbs up sign to his captain.
Fitzgerald cleared his thoat.
"Attention No_State_At_All scout sloop Pariah; this is Captain Fitzgerald of the Carrack-class Cruiser Desmond. We welcome you to the ceremony. His majesty Emperor Treize will have been expecting you, if not you in particular. If you will, I will guide your craft in to a waiting location where you can dock and speak to our liason. From there you can make headway to the ceremony. Again, Welcome. Captain Fitzgerald out."
Fitzgerald shut down the transmission line and put his cap on a little more strait. "That should do it."

Understood Pariah. However, your ship is so small, that I believe that you can land inside one of our Orbital Docking Station's hanger bays without much trouble. Our mechanics can assist you if needs be or our commissariat can lend you any repair materials you may need
The Desmond led the small scout ship Pariah through the Julain System, their destination being the large Wellington Docking Station. Captain Fitzgerald had a message sent to notify Commander Tion and also alerted his counter-part Captain Malerik to cover his position on the patrol lines. The Star Destroyer commander grudgingly agreed to Fitzgerald's request.
Within a short half-hour the Pariah was guided into the largest hanger of the Wellington, helped and guided by the tractor beams nearby, ones meant to help secure a vessel from crash landing inside the hanger.
Awaiting was a small detachment of stormtroopers and the awaiting gray-olive uniformed figure of Commander Tion.

The alien craft landed before Commander Tion in a calm manner. He did however notice that the forementioned engine troubles were noticeble if for the moment small. The ship would certainly have trouble making any more hyperspace jumps, that was for sure.
"Captain Fitzgerald, thank you for the guiding them in," Commander Tion said into his comm bead. "You may return to your duties."
"Very well sir," Fitzgerald's crackling voice came back. Beyond the hanger, from the vantage point of the hanger, Commander Tion watched as the Desmond turned with its repulsorshifts and thursted its ion engines, returning out to the edge of the Julian System.
"Troops, form up!" said a sergeant as the alien craft began to open.
The Emperor's personal line beeped, and he wondered 'What now?' He tapped his commpin and said, " Alaric here."
It was Ricala, King of Auralinia, Lord Director of the Xeraphian Space League. " Alaric, I've intercepted a general broadcast from the Thrashian Empire. Seems like they've got themselves a new Emperor and are inviting us to the coronation. What do you think?"
Alaric thought for a moment. " Thrashia.....I've heard of them, but we've never had any dealings with them. What do you say, Ric....wanna go?"
" Sure, sounds like fun. The Empire is at peace, nothing in particular going on. Typhon and Taiuuen settlements progressing nicely and Ravenii is about 90% complete. We can afford to take a little time off and enjoy life a bit."
"Okay, get hold of Vlad and Sethanis. I want the entire XSL represented. One ship from each nation. I'll be taking the 'Tanith'.
" The flagship? Going all out on this one, eh?"
" Why not? This is an Imperial shindig. Let's bring our best."
" Gotcha. How about I board the new DawnStar and see how she does?"
" Good choice. Have Seth and Vlad each arrive in an Akir'a heavy cruiser. Contact the proper authority and inform them that we'd be delighted to attend, etc, etc. Where are they located?"
" The Julian System. I have the coordinates."
" Good. Let's do it. We depart in two days."
________________________________________________________________
All was in readiness. The Akir'a cruisers were to escort the "DawnStar" and "Tanith" to Julian space. They were sure that a "greeting party" would be there to escort them to spacedock. Alaric kicked his feet up onto the Command Console. He might as well relax before they got there. He was sure that it was going to be a fairly rigorous formal event....

Captain Malerik was a very disgrunted man when yet another ship arrived in-system, it destroyed the whole purpose of his current order mandate. Sighing to himself he pulled up the message that they had just recieved from the new arrival.
"This is General Dimmu of the Duskhun Empire vessel, Red Circle, requesting permission to attend the event being held by the Emperor Treize"
Malerik turned to his comm officer. "Ensign, get me a response line will you?"
"Yes captain," the ensign replied. Within a few moments the channel was open. Malerik cleared his throat and tried to make his voice sound very authorative.
I am Captain Malerik of the Everguard Imperial Star Destroyer. Your request is of course granted. I will be launching a shuttle that can lead you to the docking/staging area. Once there you will be met by a Commander Tion. Any questions you may have can be delegated to him. Malerik out.
A Lambda shuttle launched from the Everguard and launched into space. It took up a waiting position for the newly arrived ship. Once the Red Circle confirmed, the shuttle began leading the way into the system.
Onboard the Marduk
"How long till we reach the gala event then Lieutenant Vernius?" asked Captain Nashadar.
"We shouldnt be too long Nashadar... I can feel it" Master Taiku said.
Lieutenant Vernius led the group down the corridors of the Star Destroyer. Personnel and troopers alike walked by, oblivious to the fact that there were strangers aboard the vessel.
"We'll be there within 45 standard minutes. Dor Lomin is a 'hidden system' of sorts. Dor Lomin is located in a remote star cluster. Discovered shortly after the Thrashian people took up residence in the Julian System, the cluster was to be used as the site of a last stand, in the event that Thrashian space was overrun by any foreign invader. The edge of the system contains high radiation levels, and the close proximity of the stars to each other make navigation into the cluster difficult. There are only a few safe routes into the Dor Lomin System, and they are all guarded by Thrashian Imperial fortifications, which prevented foreign intrusions and our secrecy of the exact coordinates keeps unwanted guests out as well," explained Lieutenant Vernius at length.
They had travelled up lifts and gone about four decks up when they finally reached the blast doors that marked the entrance to the birdge command center. When they entered they found the bridge busy with activity and Captain Quad sitting in his command chair.
The man's profile turned to the three men who entered. Captain Quad was an unsually short man, yet had a very severe and commanding pressence that made up for it. His thick long mustache seemed to give the impression of a bull.
"Ah, gentlemen. Welcome aboard the Marduk."

When he arrived Dimmu's demeanour shook a number of the Thrashians but he remembered the words of Rifi that he should loosen up and so he did
As he was led to his transport he looked around at the soldiers..fien soldiers he thought but nowhere as near as good as he was

Taiku shook captain Quad's hand firmly as did Nashadar
"Captain Quad... tell me, were you part of OZ or were you of another organization, you seem less liek these new troops of Thrashia" asked Taiku
Nashadar had seen pictures of Quad and he expecte him to be that height..weirdly enough

Greeting General Dimmu
Awaiting in another hanger adjacent to the one where the newly arrived No_State_At_All scout ship had landed, were a black uniformed stormtrooper officer and four stormtroopers of the Five-oh-First. The transport exumed of its exhuat, opened the port-side ramp and down came an impeccible looking man in uniform.
The stormtrooper officer simply snapped his heels to attention, and then bowed a few inches. Commander Tion had delegated for him to take care of this guest since the commander was dealing with another at the moment.
"I am Lieutenant Durel, I will escort you to a waiting area where you can stay until Commander Tion arrives to inform you further of the preperations for his majesty's function. Follow me please."
Without another word the officer turned smartly on his heel and led the way. The four stormtroopers took up a guard of honor position around the newly arrived General Dimmu and helped guide the way.

Captain Quad appraised his two guests with a shrewd eye. The military captain was obviously a little put-off, and the other man showed nothing but a barely contained, yet calm, excited demeanor.
"Captain Quad... tell me, were you part of OZ or were you of another organization, you seem less like these new troops of Thrashia" asked the Master Taiku.
Quad smiled sinisterly. "I am honored to have served his Majesty Emperor Treize throughout my career only within the Imperial Reserve, and now the Imperial Fleet. I was never apart of OZ."
"What is Treize's opinion on entering a war right now" asked Captain Nashadar. Quad spotted how Master Taiku leered at the captain, knowing how it was a small broach of protocol.
Quad shrugged his shoulders. "The Emperor keeps his own council. I however believe that should we be threatened with war or have a need to attack someone...then the Imperial Fleet is more than ready."
A deck officer stepped forward from the side and interupted the conversation. "Captain, we've reached the 2nd jump point. Clearance given to Balfurast Command, and we are now preparing for our third jump."
"Very good." Quad nodded. "See to it that we arrive on schedule."
"Yes sir." The deck officer returned to the crew pit of the bridge.

"Aye Captain."

OOC: yay, finally somone notices it :) Right, You'll have noticed that the ship, although it has obvious external engines, moved oddly, and the engines were'nt actually powered as it was moving. From the way it moved, you should be able to deduce that it uses gravitic propulsion as it's main drive system. And when you scan the people, you will notice that they really really aint human. They have VERY odd bodily structures, and the clothes and weapons are not external equipment, they are part of the apparent humans. Make of that what you will. You'll probably see later.

::You summoned me, Emperor?:: A dark, shadowy figure walked into the Huntarian Emperor's throne room. The figure seemed to be tall and thin, almost too easy to destroy. It's eyes glowed yellow, just as the emperors, within it's black hood..... Except, the eyes appeared to belong to no face. Nor did the rest of the figures body. It's robes fluttered hauntingly above the ground.... Like a ghost. This was the Kirtir Lord, Vorman. It's said, that Lord Vorman is neither living nor dead. He just.... Exists. Some have even concluded that he's the very nature of the dark side. Untill Palpatine was revived again that was.
Trilkan encountered this dark being durring his exile from the Huntarian Republic, and learned much of the force from him. One would almost call Vorman Trilkan's former master, but that would be hersy. For it was the Dark Gods who gave Trilkan and Vorman their powers and knowledge.
"Ah, Vorman my friend. Yes I have a special task for you."
::Speak.:: Vorman carried what appeared to be a staff, but was actually a Light Scythe. This was one of his signatures as to give him the various nicknames: the Lord of Death, the Grim Reaper, Lord of the Underworld. The others are far more terrible and can't be described.
The Emperor slowly got up from his Throne, and gestered to Vorman to come with him. The hood nodded and Vorman seemed to float, rather than walk, towards Trilkan. "I have a special job for you. We have been offered to send an ambassador or one of my Kirtir Lords to meet with the Thrashians. I've spoken to their leader over various secret channels. I've chosen you my friend."
::Why of me?:: The yellow eyes staired at Trilkan, waiting for his explination.
"You are one of the very natures which show the extent in the training of the Kirtir arts of the Force. I feel your presence will also show how authoritive our leaders are. You're a prime example of our empire. And, I chose you as a friend. Consider it, a personal favor."
::It will be done Trilkan. I'll see you in a few,:: Vorman bowed and floated out of Trilkan's Throne Room.
I know I can count on you.... Trilkan thought to himself.

Marduk
The Marduk had made good headway through the myriad routes of the Dor Lomin star cluster, before finally arriving within the system itself. As soon as the Star Destroyer came through the last exit of the Hailey's Cordon, it was hailed by a series of orbital defenses, Golan battle stations, which guarded the exit/entrance of the Dor Lomin system.
Captain Quad saw to it that they were not held up, and submitted the required codes and call signs. His ship was granted access to orbit Pol-kamra, homeworld of the Thrashian people. Quad turned to his guests just as Master Taiku spoke.
"When we arrive who are we to be greeted by?" asked the master.
"I don't doubt that Emperor Treize will send a delegation of court officials or perhaps one of his Imperial Knights. Who knows?" said Quad. He turned to Lieutenant Vernius.
"Bring them down to the hanger. We'll be launching the transport in ten minutes."
"Yes Captain," responded Vernius. He turned to the two guests and led them off the bridge before they could pose any more questions. Quad relaxed in his seat and went about checking on his ship's condition.
---
Lieutenant Vernius bowed to the two guests. "I wish you a happy journey and may it be fruitful."
The two were ushered up the ramp of the shuttle and it closed. Without waiting for Vernius even to get clear the pilot revved the engines and retracted the s-foils for launch. Within the specified time that Quad said the shuttle launched and flew down to the planet's surface.
Dimmu
"What do you think of Treize?" General Dimmu asked Lieutenant Durel. The stormtrooper officer had not spoken the entire time and had seen fit to keep it that way. However his orders had been to be accomidating.
"I do not think, sir." The officer turned a corner and came to a large panel door. "I only obey and believe the commands of my Emperor."
The large metal door slid open and revealed a large room with plush couches, a table with small bits of food and drinks. Lieutenant Durel positioned his men to guard the door on either side and showed the General and his retinue into the room.
"You can wait here. Commander Tion will be here shortly," said Lieutenant Durel. He turned on his heel and left the pompus general to his own devices.

"Is there any point of protocol I and my Lieutenant here should be aware of, Sir, in order to avoid giving offense accidentally? Other than that we are ready." asked the Lieutenant Commander Breen.
Commander Tion was slightly disturbed by the question, but it was only a tingle at the back of his neck. He mentally shrugged it off and looked at the Lieutenant Commander.
"Not for here, but I am sure that Minister Fergusson in the Dor Lomin system can address any court protocols. Until then, you have but to relax," said Tion. "Until your transport is ready, I will guide you to a waiting room where other guests have assembled. If you'll follow me?"

Captain Malerik had had it up to his neck with all these interuptions. He was losing his patience quickly. His adjutant reported that Captain Fitzgerald would soon be back to help patrol, but it was taking time. Malerik's fuse was short enough as it was that when a new alarm of incoming sounded, he wanted to shoot something.
"What this time!?" Malerik called.
Captain Malerik's comm officer tapped out a few buttons and a message played before the captain's eyes.
I'm Lord Vorman, representative of the Huntarian Empire. I've been sent to your coordinates under the behafe of my friend and Emperor, Darth Trilkan. I expect to meet, and discuss some of our future dealings with each other.
"Well isn't that nice!" Malerik said to no one in particular. He turned to his comm officer. "Inform the Lord Vorman that he will be guided to a docking station where a formal reception will be made by Commander Tion. From there he will board transport to Dor Lomin. Usual encoding."
"Yes Captain," responded the man, worried that his captain was so irritable.

The four ships came out of warpdrive and Sethanis said, " Captain, inform Vlad, Ricala, and the Emperor that we've arrived in the Julian System. All engines stop."
" Aye, sir."
" M'lord, we're being hailed by the Thrashians. They want us to identify ourselves and state our business here."
Sethanis spoke. " Open a channel, captain. Captain Malerik, this is Lord Sethanis of the Mystic Gathering of Black Shadows. I have with me Prince Vlad of the Blessed Realm of The Grey Phoenix, King Ricala of The Spatial Fortress of Auralinia, Prince Teii, Warlord of Vhammpyr, and Emperor Alaric Tan'it of The Barbaric Empire of Xeraph. We are here for your Emperor's coronation. If you will guide us to orbit around your planet, we will TransBeam down to the Emperor's Palace for the festivities. Please advise as to acceptable security."
Just then, Sethanis had his commscreen beep. He touched the screen, and saw his Emperor. " What's going on, Seth? Do we have a go-ahead?"
" Not yet, Alaric. We've just contacted a Capt. Malerik and are awaiting further instructions." It was then that Sethanis noticed the girl behind the Emperor, apparently wearing nothing but a smile. Sethanis grinned. " I see you've been keeping yourself entertained, m'lord."
Alaric cocked an eye. " Seth, you have no idea. Keep me updated."
" Yes, m'lord."

Vice Admiral Gregor Mandel tugged at his uniform collar. "Why do I have to go to this ball thing anyway? It's not like I'm a diplomat, I just run the fleet."
His aide, Dillan Aspers, sighed, "You're going because you run the fleet here. You're the highest ranking Confederate officer for five million light-years."
"That's hardly fair." Mandel muttered.
"Well I'm sure Major General Vincent and Space Vice-Marshall Tam don't like having to go either." Dillan said, "But like you they are the highest ranking representatives of their respective services."
Mandel grunted, "Yeah. Anyway, who else is in the party again besides Vincent and Tam?"
"There's the local minister of public affairs Joseph Frakes, the local minister of defence Anthony Kramer and the Confederacy's ambassodor to this galaxy Lisa Cavendish."
A chime sounded announcing the ship's arrival in the Julian system. The door slid open, "Are you ready Admiral?"
Mandel turned to see a Bowman's Wolf in a dark blue evening gown, "I take it you're Ambassador Cavendish?"
She nodded, "I am, and you can call me Lisa, Admiral."
Mandel shook his head, "I prefer Ambassador Cavendish."
Lisa shrugged, "Suit yourself, but lets go."
Mandel tugged on his uniform one last time before entering the corridor where he saw the other members of the party. He gave a brief nod to the civillians then joined his fellow officers.
It was a short walk to the conference room where Lisa proceeded to make a call to the local Thrashian forces. "This is Ambassador Lisa Cavendish onboard the CNS Firebrand a Star Frigate from the Confederacy of Xessmithia's navy. Dimmu thought to himself and quickly gave a response
"Fire upon their radar and sent out star fighters... confuse them, lull them into a false sense of security before firing the nova benta cannons"
The projection ended and Dimmu smiled...finally he would face a new challenge, he hoped this wat would not be over before he returned

The shuttle craft managed to keep ahead of the larger ship, the newly arrived Huntaerian vessel. It took a quick path projected vector and brought the Megaladon into one of the larger docking stations, ones usually reserved for Imperial Star Destroyers. With a small beeped message of acknowledgement the shuttle turned and left.
Docking Station Wellington’s command staff contacted the Megaladon and helped guide it into the finishing attachments. An air-tight path-line was attached to the hull entrance of the ship, ready for anyone to disembark. A stiff stormtrooper officer stood outside it with a platoon of stormtroopers, all awaiting the arrival of the Lord Vorman.
Commander Tion
Without further-to-do Commander Tion led his guests from the NSAA scout ship and led them through the varied halls. From the report he received from his officers, another guest, General Dimmu, had arrived. From what the report said, he was from Bekhaera.
Frowning to himself Commander Tion stepped through the entrance to the waiting room where he had designated any new arriving guests to be brought. His Lieutenant Commander Breen followed inside with his partner.
The man sitting down seemed both impetuous and haughty. Traits that Tion found less than endearing. Tion however bowed functionally and looked at the seated General.
“I am Commander Tion, I presume you are General Dimmu?”
New Arrivals
Captain Malerik, this is Lord Sethanis of the Mystic Gathering of Black Shadows. Captain Malerik was less than enthusiastic with four large capital ships in the system, ones that did not belong to the Thrashian Fleet. Even though the Fleet had been ordered to disperse and not be seen in heavy numbers for the occasion, Malerik was still less than apprehensive about it.
“Lord Sethanis, Prince Vlad, King Ricala, Prince Teii and Emperor Alaric Tan’it I welcome you. I am required by my orders to lead you to the Docking Station Wellington where Commander Tion, C.O. of this operation, is waiting to greet you. There you will board a Thrashian transport that will guide you to our home world. However I am afraid that your large ships must remain here in orbit with the Docking Station. I will send a shuttle to gather you from your ships, so that you are not inconvenienced.
“That is our security measure, if however you wish to bring an honor guard; that is allowed and accepted,” said Captain Malerik into the comm.

Imperial Star Destroyer Doom Crier detected the hyperspace signatures a ship coming out of hyperspace. It moved to intercept in the case it was an enemy but quickly powered down its weapons when they received a transmission and CommScan had identified that no weapon systems on the ship were activated.
"This is Ambassador Lisa Cavendish onboard the CNS Firebrand a Star Frigate from the Confederacy of Xessmithia's navy. We're here to take up the invitation to the coronation galla of Emperor Treize Khushrenada the First. We await your response."
Captain Duvall, a burly man and long career fleet officer, listened to the message with mild amusement. His adjutant Lieutenant Brass stood by also with a smug look.
“A woman? Interesting that they have a woman for a spokesman…but then some cultures are different,” said Captain Duvall aloud, not expecting a reply and none was given. He turn to Lieutenant Brass.
“Get us a return line.”
“Yes Captain,” Lieutenant Brass said. He turned on his heel and went to the comm station where the ensign technician was calibrating the new frequency of the transmission line that the CNS Firebrand had used. After a few moments of tinkering the ensign nodded, Lieutenant Brass looked up at Captain Duvall.
“Line open sir.”

With his knowledge of the ships layouts, and with help from the force, Vorman found the air-tight passage and hovered through. Soon, he found himself on the edge of the passage. Waiting for the end door to open up and greet the officer he was meeting. He twirled his Light Scythe around a few times, and banged on the edge of the door. A hiss soon followed, and the group of men waiting for Vorman found two big yellow glowing eyes stairing right back at them.

Mandel listend too the message carefully, "Good discipline. Oh and Ambassador our docking systems are incompatable with theirs, so we'll have to take a shuttle to their station and leave the Firebrand in a parking orbit."
Sapce Vice-Marshall Tam spoke next, "Admiral according to these sensor readings there is a fair bit of debris in our path."
Mandel looked worried, "Battle debris?"
Tam shook his head, "No, just more rocks and dust than I'd expect. They must have had a few asteroid mines around here, nothing to be concerned about politically Ambassador." Tam added for her benefit. "But I would put more power to the shields for transit in case one hits us."
Mandel laughed, "You're still stuck in fighter jockey mode Simon. Capital ships aren't as vulnerable to rocks as fighters. But you're right, I'll tell the captain to raise shields." Mandel turned to Lisa, "Ambassador you should tell Captain Duvall not to worry about the shields, we're only raising them for safety reasons because of debris."
Lisa had been taking it all in, "All right." She activated the comm again, "Captain Duvall thank you for your quick response. We will follow your patrol boat to the station, however if you could inform the station that our docking facilities are incompatible with your own and could have them prepare a hangar for our shuttle it would be helpfull. Also we have detected some debris near our position, only asteroid fragments and the like but to protect ourselves from a possible impact we will be raising our shields. This is not a sign of distrust of yourself or your nation, it is simply a measure to avoid an accident. We hope you understand. Cavendish out."
The Xeraphian nobles and an armed escort of six ShadowGuard boarded the Thrashian transport vessel and were soon on their way to the festivities. There was little talking amongst them as they were not accustomed to being transported by such means. Xeraphian technology had evolved to the point that, except for the vast distances of space, they were able to TransBeam from one set of coordinates to another. But, when in Rome......
Ricala had ordered that any shore leave be done in cycles. No more than four or five to a group, no more than four groups at a time. The docking facilities in orbit over Thrashia were of ample size to allow this number of soldiers, sailors, and pilots to take some time to loosen up and relax while the coronation ceremonies were happening. Weapons were to be left on board the ships. Ricala didn't want any international incidents to mar the proceedings.
" So, Alaric, how was your 'entertainment'?, asked Vlad.
The Emperor's simple reply was a nod and a wink.........

Commander Tion was rather put off by the comments, but none-the-less he had orders from the Emperor. He stepped to the side and allowed his two other guests to enter the room. Lieutenant Creel shook his head at the Lord Vorman and continued to lead him through the corridors to where the waiting room was. Technicians and fleet troopers alike walked the halls, either off duty or heading to a work place, causing Creel to start feeling irritated more so than the fact that he had been forced to escort a phantom.
Finally they arrived at the entrance of the waiting room. Creel watched as two strangely garbed officer-types entered the room. He guessed it was the delegation that Commander Tion had met personally. Creel moved to the room and bowed Lord Vorman inside. He then turned and was happy to be rid of the burden.

Commander Tion turned to see a shadowy visage appear in the doorway, a towering and ghostly figure that held a scythe of some sort and had yellow eyes. His comm bead, hidden in his ear, relayed that Lord Vorman had arrived.
Tion bowed. “Lord Vorman, I am pleased you could arrive here on time. We’ll be leaving shortly after a few other guests have arrived.”
"Captain Duvall thank you for your quick response. Captain Duvall frowned at this. He turned to the CommScan technician in the aft crew pit. “Is there any debris in the area ahead of them?” he asked.
The tech worked his station for several moments then looked up at the captain and nodded. “Yes Captain, we’re detecting several small bits of asteroid and rock particles. Any damage their ship would take would be superficial…unless their ships hull is made of a metal less durable than our own.”
Duvall nodded. “Has the Torpedo Boat been launched?” He turned to his adjutant. The lieutenant nodded.
“Get me another line.”
“Yes Captain.”
Ambassador Cavendish, your ship is allowed to raise its shields for safety precautions only. Anything else will be seen as an ulterior motive and I will be forced to act accordingly to Imperial Fleet rules. Your guide has launched and will lead you in. Safe journey, Duvall out.
Xeraph nobles
The shuttle that carried the delegation from the Xeraph Empire guided its way through the myriad ship lanes that were used by approaching craft to the Wellington Docking Station, its huge metal structure seeming like a great hive mother with children going to and fro.
The shuttle came into hanger 4-b, raised its fins above the fuselage and the ion engines cooled. The ramp was able to be lowered and the Xeraph nobles were allowed to exit the craft.
Waiting for them was an entire company of stormtroopers, baring the 501st insignia, and a group of officers; two were black uniformed stormtrooper officers, the third was in the olive gray of the Imperial Fleet, his rank epaulettes marked him as a Line Captain. The Line Captain walked forward and bowed to the Emperor Alaric.
“Greetings my lord, I am Captain Liet. I have been ordered by Commander Tion to formally accept you into my custody and guide you to a waiting room where the Commander presently is with several other guests. Once there you may ask Commander Tion any questions you may have and mingle with the other guests. If you will follow me,” said Captain Liet. He motioned with his arm in a gesture for the small group of nobles to go first.
Dor Lomin System, Planet Pol-kamra | Thrashian Homeworld
The shuttle that carried the two bewildered Bekhaerans took the scenic route on its way to the starship port where a formal delegation awaited the two guests. The City of Emperors was a delight to see in the perfect sunshine of the mid-day. The city itself had been based upon the same designs of old Thrashia, before its destruction in that long-ago war.
Skyscrapers rose for hundreds of floors and great stylized apartments, homes, businesses, workshops, libraries, schools, exercising centers, public parks, and other such buildings were in great abundance, reminding the pilot who flew the craft of when he had been trained on Curoscant.
The starship port came into view ahead and the pilot commenced his approach operations, giving the proper call signs that disengaged defenses that were set in place to defend against an enemy.
The shuttle landed in a grandiose part. A great blood red carpet had been set down, exactly where the ramp lowered down to. Along it on either side, at stiff attention, stood the personal stormtroopers that acted as Emperor Treize’s body guard. Their armor reflected the light like mirrors. At the center of the carpet, in stark contrast to the red color, stood a figure in a white uniform and with shocking blue skin.
When the shuttle finally landed and the control ramp lowered the two Bekhaeran men stepped forward they were greeted by the hardened glowing eyes of the figure. The man wore a officers uniform, however it was white and not the usual olive gray. His rank epaulettes included yellow as well as blue and red bricks. The strange man stepped forward and bowed fractionally to the two men. (Pic (http://i19.photobucket.com/albums/b184/Upum/Star%20Wars/Thrawn.jpg))
“Welcome to Pol-kamra and the City of Emperors. I am Grand Admiral Thrawn, a servant of his majesty Emperor Treize Kushrenada. He has asked me to greet you. Was your journey an enjoyable one?” asked Thrawn, the light causing his eyes to shine.
::Commander Tion, the pleasure is ours,:: came the harsh "voice" from Lord Vorman, ::The Huntarian Empire is honored in working with the Thrashians. We were once enemies you know. Now is our chance to build up a new relationship. My friend wanted to meet your emperor in person, but unfortuantly due to security issues, Darth Trilkan couldn't meet.::

"I wish they just gave us the co-ordinates. We could have gotten there in a third of the time if we didn't have to follow their ship." Mandel complained.

The Firebrand arrived in its parking orbit and Mandel followed the rest of the delegation to the docking bay where a shuttle was waiting.
He quickly boarded and took his seat. The shuttle disengaged and drifted out of the bay before lighting its own drives and rocketing towards the station the Thrashian patrol boat had led them too. The trip was short and Mandel used the time to run over his greeting again. He was no good at this.
Alaric gave a short bow of his head to the Captain. " Thank you, Captain Liet." Turning to his guards, he said, " Seargent, I think we'll be alright in the good Captian's company. You can avail yourselves of whatever recreation the Thrashians have here. Check in every two hours with the ships."
