[ I am RPing as if I control a population of at least 326 million. Do not worry, by the end of this I'll be down. ;) By the way, can someone make me a flag? I don't really care, as long as it says "Big Industries" on it. Also, my country is NOT called Big Industries. We are the United Middle East, or the UME.. well, we'll be united after this. <.<

Also, I need a country that will come in and kill lots of my people.]

Al Nedjari Imam Abu Zeid took a deep breath. Now was the time. Across the street were several people, they were going about their business.
"Do not be so tense.." Ma'mun said, he was Nedjari's better. He had taught him all he knew,"You know how to do what you have been taught."

"Yes.." he replied,"I know.. I don't know if I'm ready.."
"You are more ready now than any have ever been ready.. it is now or never.." replied Ma'mun.

There came a loud scream. Nedjari ran from his spot in the alley way, right into the group of people. There was a thunderous explosion, the people nearby disappeared. There was a crater where Nedjari had been. The building nearby had a gigantic hole in it's front, a car nearby was smashed on one side. One woman crawled on her stomach, screaming in pain because her legs no longer existed.

Ma'mun sighed,"I shall miss you Nedjari." before walking away.

It was the first terrorist attack in seven years on any nation. It started a ten year war in the Middle East between the governments of each nation and a huge terrorist organization known as Al-Budijari.

January 19, 2016
Dubai, United Arab Emirates State, Capital of the United Middle East
After a meeting of the nations, the former governments of several countries in the Middle East had agreed to join their forces and create one country. It was right after this that there was a huge outburst of terrorist violence, and now there was enough Al-Budijari supporters that Civil War had broken out.

A squad of soldiers ran down the street, readying for an assault to take the capital. Al-Budijari was not like most terrorist organizations. They had suppliers, and they were highly organized.

This assault would become known as the Seige of Dubai, as 150,000 Al-Budijari men now held Dubai captive. They cut off the supplies. It was now a matter of help from the outside. 50,000 UME men were in the capital, holding off assault after assault. Soon, people would begin dieing of starvation.

The United Middle East would fall before it ever became a nation.. and the people were calling for help..

As the political situation in the Middle East degenerated, the Errikan employees of Weapson in the region found themselves in the cross fire. Anarchy spread across the nation, leading the poor to raid and loot, and what Errikans could fled with their property. Still others were captured and shot, and the largest concentration of Errikans, about two dozen, were trapped in Dubai.

Meanwhile, back in Errikland, there was mass public outrage at the events in the Middle East. Though most news could not get through, that which could shocked and angered the population to the point where they did not just want action. They wanted blood.

Emperor Christian, though just as outraged, kept his head. He sent a message to the rebels surrounding Dubai, demanding that they release the Errikans besieged in the city and make an official apology for their actions against innocent civilians. If they did not, he promised action.

The response came several days later in the form of a video. It was low quality, as most terrorist videos seemed to be. In it, there was one man. He wore completely black clothing. Only his eyes could be seen through the black hood around his head.
On the ground in front of him was a man. He was on his knees. His head was covered in a similar hood as the first man. He was moaning, his clothes were torn, underneath the tears, bleeding cuts could be seen. He was moaning. The Errikan people would recognize him as a Weapson employee.
The first man began to speak..

"The Errikan infidels, those who supported the people in Dubai, those who supported the joining of these puppet nations together, they were caught in the crossfire as was the will of Allah! The Errikan people have no right to be in our land, and neither do the fools who sit in Dubai fighting off the inevitable."

He moved forward, grabbing the Errikan mand hand and pulling out a knife. The man only moaned as he was forced to lean on one knee which had a large gash in it. The terrorist man cut the Errikan's index finger off at the base. Blood squirted from it as he screamed in pain. Next, his eyes were pulled from their sockets. The man grabbed at his face before being subdued. His hood was now undone, and the people would now recognize him.

His tongue was cut out, then, he was propped up. The terrorist man grabbed his jaw and pulled it, ripping out teeth and breaking it. The man moaned. Now, he was propped up again, and this time he was beheaded.

"The Errikan people will know their place.."

The Errikan people were in uproar. They wanted blood, and it was the only thing that was allowed to be spoken about in politics. Everything, even the contreversial IAF descision, was swept by the wayside.

The Emperor was the most animated in his outrage, and, in a stirring speech gave in front of the press, he swore that there would be justice.

Immediately following the speech, he contacted President Fu'ad Al-Afdil Nahim Walid, promising that the Errikan Empire would come to destroy this menace. He then contacted the various allied commanders, going for a swift attack.

There would be justice.

President Fu'ad Al-Afdil Nahim Walid was quick to accept the aid of the Errikan Empire. The attacks on Dubai were becoming worse and worse, and insurgents had started destroying entire buildings and killing dozens of people.

The Dubai beaches were ready to bring in Errikan soldiers if needed. The attacks against Al-Budijari became more feirce. It wasn't enough. The seige would not be broken without help..

We sympathise with your position, however our military is extreamly weak. We are afraid we cannot take direct action against these insurgents as of yet. We will however send you 24,000,000 yen (209,023.80 US$) to help with your war effort. May your God aid you in this time of need.
Albu-querque

The news of the terrorist acts in the Middle East frightened and angered the citizens Albu-querque. It wasn't long after that news of an abduction and slaughter of a citizen of our allies, Errikland, that the issue was brought to the attention of the government.

Head of State, Kurt Yager, was outraged that hard working men were taken against their will for trying to make an earning in a new land. Becuase the Errikan message of peace did not phase the rebels, Albu-querque will have to take the prisoners by force.

A message was sent to the rebels outside of Dubai, informing to them that, "because of your merciless slaughter of our friends, action will be taken immediatly."

The actions of these extremists are most condemned by the Emirate of ALM. It is unfitting that men who profess the word of Islam to act in such barbaric manners as revealed. The Emirate wishes to send its condolences to the families affected by this reckless violence.

Thus spake the Emir Jalal al-Misri: "Let it be known that the rebels laying siege to Dubai shall not have any quarter in any righteous land, Muslim or otherwise! The voice of Allah cries for justice, that these men who idolize the Name in vain shall ever burn for eternity, and that those who follow the ways of deceit and pain shall know no mercy from the righteous ones. Yet to those who refute and turn away from these preachings, Allah is quick to forgive those of pure heart! May Allah hear our prayers for the families of the people in Errikland, that they may receive Allah's justice - even if they know not the word of Islam - and the killers who linger in the Holy Mosques of al-Aziz shall know the rewards of their actions! May Allah also prevent those from hearing the words of deceit, that the way of Islam is pure and unsubverted to the ways of infidelic teachings. Let us bear with good friendship the burden of loss as these people have done so!"

At closing his speech, the Emir al-Misri offers the United Middle East aid in counter-terrorist activities, offering to loan an elite covert-strike unit to assist in these activities [lest it be known that there even is a covert-strike unit of the Emirate  ].

We thank you for your support, and we believe that you could be of great help in destorying these savages. As Egypt, you border this nation to your East. The rebels have taken control of the north half, and may even be advancing on your border to spread more radical Islam across further Islamic lands. If you can keep the fighting on their territory, then that may distract enough of their forces for us to relieve Dubai with more ease. Should this war all go well, I imagine that you will be able to extend your nation's border to include the lands of Edom and further Red Sea cost. Perhaps, though such an assault would have to wait until later in the campaign, you could even take Mecca for your own.

Until we meet again, godspeed.

Oh, one last thing. If you speak to ENN or anyone like that, try not to focus on Islam too much. My people . . . let's just say that they aren't big fans.

The Admiral looked out across the straight though his binoculars. The Straight of Hormuz marked the end of the Indian Ocean and the beginning of the Persian Gulf. If there was any doubt they were in Muslim territory, that was now gone.
To the south was Arabia, this section of which was still occupied by friendly forces. To the north was Iran, which was held by the enemy. Still, no one attacked from that far away coast; no one even knew that they were coming to aid Dubai. The gulf was all but empty, so they would meet no opposition until landing.

"Dubai, here we come."

The sky was dark, Burj Dubai and Al Burj stood tall, a constant reminder of the power of the United Middle East. The people were on edge, the entire city was surrounded and being watched constantly.

And then, suddenly, a large A380 swam across the sky. It was gigantic. It moved at an enormous speed, slamming directly into the Burj Dubai. The shockwave busted out windows across the street, people fell from the highest floors.

It was like 9/11 all over again, 15 years later.

But there was something different. The tower didn't fall on itself, it burned, trapping people at the top. The people did all they could before the top 38 stories literally fell. They fell down and on top of a crowded street and two resedential buildings.

1,300 Al-Budijari men moved forward strapped with bombs. They ran into the roadblocks and UME formations, exploding and killing dozens of men. Then, the real assault began. 20,000 of the Al-Budijari terrorists attacked, weilding AK47's and firing on soldiers and civilians.

The people of Dubai needed help. They could only hold out for so long. President Fu'ad Al-Afdil Nahim Walid called for the action of Errikland and Alif Laam Miim.

OOC-Sure Toop.

Also, I don't want anyone to just run in and say they have killed people. I want them to actually get into it. Make it realistic. Don't have 350 million people dead in a few hours. This is a ten year long war, at least. (I'll fastforward sometimes, of course)

Also, this is going to take a long time. I don't want anyone coming into this thinking they can end this war easily. It's going to be realistic. Both sides are going to have losses, alright?

Warlord Shawhabas was sitting in his office watching the course of events on his television. His assistant, Ralhaman, was setting out his lunch.

"Ralhaman have a look at this! It's a country tearing itself apart! Wait a second....GET THE STAFF IN HERE THAT'S ONE OF OUR NEIGHBORING COUNTRIES!"

"Yessir!"

Ralhaman scrambles the president's cabinet together along with the staff. As the command room soon became crowded with members, Warlord Shawhabs came out dressed in his new suit.

"Gentlemen...Gentleman please silence yourselves. We have an international incident and an opportunity here."

The room immediately got quiet as the doors to the room were closed and sealed.

"Our neighbors to the east in the UME are having a civil war with the all too infamous Al-Budijari. Along with our vast oil reserves, this poses real opportunity for they also hold vast concentrations of oil reserves and they have great farmland in the south. I say this shows a great opportunity to sieze!"

The cabinet members mumbled with agreement.

As numerous phonecalls were made to different departments across Gilabad, President Warlord Shawhabas was preparing for an invasion. As his cabinet members were watching on the TV of what was unfolding, it became evident that action was needed soon. Shawhabas took his Secretary of Defense into another room and shut the door.

"Tom....how soon can you mobilize a task force?"

"Hmmmm. I don't know, it could be about 24-48 hours. Depends on how soon I get on it."

"OK.....whatever you need, I'll give it to you. Get General Warren and all of the team together.....and get General Shwarzkopf on the line."

"Will do sir. You can count on it."

Secretary of Defense Tom Chamberlin began mobilizing Task Force 123.

Toopoxia, fresh from the war in Hydac, needed a new enemy, a new way to get the people rallied, the target came in the form of a civil war, the UME had the land, the resources, the soldiers, everything needed in making Toopoxia declare war once again, the 1st and 2nd Divisions of the Internal Armed Forces mobolised to stop any counter attacks into the land, the 1st, 2nd and 3rd Foreign Assult Divisions along with the 1st Logistical Support and 1st Light Mortar Divisions mobilised for the invasion.

(OOC: I am currently sans Vehicles, those divisions will be finished during the course of the war.)

12,000 Al-Budijari men were on the border with Toopoxia, ready for a fight. They had old AK47's and Russian made tanks from old storage areas. Thousands of mines were set up on roads before hand, in case of something like this. Men hid in the desert waiting for the enemy to pass by so they could ambush them.

The Al-Budijari intelligence was rather bad, and the defences set up were only in case, they had no idea that an actual invasion was in the works. The border with Toopoxia was the least guarded, and an invasion now would mean the loss of much needed oil for the A-B.

In Dubai, the attacks had become too much. The UME was being pushed in on itself, a counter attack with the help of a friendly force landing through Dubai would be the last chance to save the capital. People were sent to "The City of Silk" in Kuwait, the only pocket of UME defence that far north. 35,000 men were there, as well. Under seige from a larger force and also waiting for help. The mile high tower in the center of the city stood as a stalwart reminder of what the UME fought for.

General George Schwarzkopf was put on charge of Task Force 123. Learning from top military tactitions around the world, he was the best man for the job. He knew that it wasn't smart to fight both Toopoxia and Al Budijari, simply make them fight eachother. The plan was to send in terrorists to look like Al Budijari and attack behind Toopoxia lines and to send terrorists to support Al Budijari temporarily against Toopoxia. Once they were both fully engaging eachother, then the time to strike would be. General Schwarzkopf would codename it operation "Gang War". General Schwarzkopf went into his command center and briefed his staff.

"OK people.....Operation Gang War is going to commence in aproximently 48 hours. We need some sort of way to prolong the war between Al Budijari and Toopoxia. Any suggestions?"

"I say that we make a large supply shipment to Abu Budijari?" inquired one of his advisors.

"That's one we can do. Anything else?"

"I say we start an artillery strike on Toopoxia, from our naval ships to make it look like it came from Al Budijari. That would piss them off a whole bunch!"

"Alright let's start with that for starters. Thankyou gentlemen"

4 Texas Class Battlecruisers lined up further south in the gulf in order to make an angle that would be recognized as from Al Budijari. They began an artillery barage for 1 minute with their large 35 inch. ETC naval guns against the Toopoxian frontline. In the meantime, 4 C-17s flew over Al Budijari territory and dropped supplies which included AT-4s, Stinger missiles, rifles, shotguns etc...

PS You don't know about operation Gang War that's just stating it.
31337 soup

After a news story aired about the tragities in the UME a nation gasped, that nation was the nation of 31337 soup. The last colony of a dieing race stranded on earth, now ocupying a small ring of islands. But they did not gasp to loudly, because it was the 'presidents' nap period and desible levels were to be kept at a minimum.
Although it was his nap period, he was still awake and he was also angry. Partialy at the news chanel execuatives (homes, as we speak, being raided and prisoners taken for treason) and partialy because his tea was 'cold' (it was 70 degrees not 71, which is what he demanded it to be.) But he put those matters in the back of his head as a news team arived to get his speach on the matter.
He stared blankly into the camera and said, "great troubles it would bring my people to help this nation" this last word he spat out, like cold tea or worms, " because of our lack of military and altogether not-careingness. Also the time is 10:07, residential power to be shut of in twenty three minutes. hope you enjoyed tonights broadcast." The camera cut out, and the president sighed.

President Fu'ad Al-Afdil Nahim Walid received intelligence from his top General of four large battleships in his golf. It was hard to hide a battleship array, especially in the middle of another countries territorial waters.

"What make are they?" the President asked his General of the Army, General Yusef Abd-al-Halim sat across a large, round, wooden table.

"Well, we can't know for sure. And we don't know exactly what they're doing. They're firing on something, in the direction of Kuwait and Iraq." the General replied.

"We'll have to assume that they are an enemy." the President said,"Get a report on damage. If there is any, send a message to these battleships declaring them an enemy in our waters. If there is none, we'll be on high alert."

"Yes, sir."

"Oh, and tell them to get the hell out of my Gulf."

(OOC: oh great, navy, my most hated from of RPing!!!)

With the 1st IFV, APC, Artillery and Light Tanks now mobilising this artillery strike came as quite a shock, it halted the advance of Toopoxican soldiers who now fled for safer ground within Toopoxia, the Naval forces which were still in construction and who had not been mobolised did not react to the attack.

After the Barrage ended the forces organised and got ready for a bloody counter-barrage of the Poxican artillery, they aimed for Towns and Populated areas attempting to score a crippling blow to those who were terrorists and those who might one day become terrorists, after the barrage cleared the Poxican soldiers moved in across the land in the backs of the PATC Transports.

"Number 002, come in here please"

Please disregard any thing you saw in the braodcast i made earlier. we must keep our most secret matters, well secret. But as we speak our most highly trained team is being sent to infiltrate the terorist organization that is giving you troubles, they are Islamic, highly trained, and don't look foreign. I can understand that you would need some help against this terrorist group. So I can ship my newly assembled army of 28,000. 1,000 of them are trained to be Spec. Ops Units and the rest are footsoldiers. I would like to send the entire army over there, but the only way I could do that is if you could send a navy over here, to ship my troops to your base. If you could do that I would give you 100 Million USD. If you choose to do that I have included where my Army will be picked up. I look foward to your reply.

A message was quickly sent to the president in Dubai, alerting him to the immediate arrival of allied troops from the Mucro Imperial Alliance.

"Our transports are coming in to unload as we speak, and our battleships are ready to begin their bombardment of any enemy positions. Also, our fliers are scrambling, waiting for attack coordinates. Over."

Just as he said, the MIA troops were unloading quickly on the Dubai beaches, the basic ABVs rolling on to the beaches quickly while the other transports rolled up and began unloading. The assault troopers quickly hurried off to the front, while commanders shouted orders over their radios for order.

They were ready for battle.

Several people walked through a small town under the watchful eyes of Al-Budijari militia men. Their lives were mostly normal, but executions were normal.

Two women and a man were hung from a light poll, swinging in the wind and making the area smell like rotten meat. They were there as a reminder of what happened when the people went against the Al-Budijari's version of Allah.

That's when a the side of a building exploded, sending rubble across the street and killing those inside. The people ran and screamed, realizing that this was neither help nor directed at them. The Al-Budijari began firing on the crowds in an attempt to keep them under control, before another shell hit, and they too ran for cover.

Five hundred people ran across the desert to the South. They would find no salvation, for the desert would swallow them whole..

In the north, the news of Toopoxian mobolization had spread, and with their new equipment, they would be even more powerful. The guarding had risen to 20,000 men. The leaders of the organization did not expect a large invasion from any outside forces at the moment..

The assault troopers quickly hurried off to the front, while commanders shouted orders over their radios for order.

They were ready for battle.

Because the Errikan civilians were not set free, action was taken. The Albu-querque military sent a force that they felt could easily take care of the problem, along with our allies. Here are the details (translated into english for easy understanding):

200,000 standard Albu-querqian infantry
20,000 Tank Destroyers- Jagdtiger
20,000 Medics
10,000 Motorized/mechanized troops
2,000 "vollkommen" special forces
1,000 Special forces HQs

400 Air support aircrafts- Fock-Wulf Fw-2010C Gigant
200 Escort fighters- Tac-560
400 Interceptors- Dornier Do-320

450 Light Tanks- PzKpfw.llL Luchs
250 Heavy Tanks - PzKpfw.VIB Konigstiger
50 Super Heavy Tanks- PzKpfw.VIII Maus
2,000 Basic Armored Cars- SdKfz-432
3,000 Rocket Artillery- NebelWerfer 92

In addition, the Albu-querque military feels that this situation is the perfect chance to test the newly invented ABV model assualt vehicle.
ABV = Amphibious Baldur Vehicle
OOC: You can skip whats in parentheses, its just the backround of the ABV.
IC: (Invented by the famous Albu-querqian engineer, Gerhard Falke. It was named "Baldur" after a Norse god, the son of Odin and Frigg. His mother extracted an oath from every thing in the world that it would not harm him. However the evil god Loki learned that she had overlooked mistletoe. Being jealous, he tricked the blind god Hoder into throwing a dart of mistletoe at Balder, which killed him.)

This name felt suitable for the impervious armour of the assault vehicle. It was designed to withstand any form of nature's wrath, and most man-made weapons; tho, like the Norse god, it has a weakness.

The bombing from the Errikans wreaked havoc throughout the terrorist lines, but they continued their suicidal run, many of the strapped with bombs. In Al-Budijari held Dubai, a large battle of urban warfare was raging. Machine Guns roared throughout the street, snipers with old sniper rifles fired on civilians and soldiers alike.

The Errikan troops began to arrive, rushing forward for cover. This was what they had trained for the most. Urban combat.

One Errikan rolled under the line of fire as enemy fire rained overhead, quickly jumping to his feet and behind a corner. His squad quickly followed, and he ducked out from behind the corner, providing cover fire with painful accuracy with his AE-5. As his men arrived, he conveyed his orders quickly by speaking into his radio before signalling them to move. He himself ran quickly, sliding across the ground and behind some rubble as another shot from a sniper struck the ground beside him. That left the sniper revealed, if ever so briefly, to be struck down by focused Errikan fire.
Others found themsleves being hit from behind as the Errikans infiltrated buildings and climbed to the snipers' position. An outdated long range rifle could certainly defeat a man with a powerful assault weapon at a long distance, but didn't do him much good at four yards.
Still other areas were cleared out by grenades, with the Errikans following up quickly to mop up anyone left.

On the front where the defenders still held the rebels outside of the city, the Errikan arrival was delayed slightly, but came in force. They quickly adjusted to the adverse cover, and the focused fire of their machine guns would quickly take care of the suicide bombers long before they were within range of the explosives.

Meanwhile, Errikan battle tanks, which had been badly delayed by problems unloading, hurried to the fronts.

The space between was a no man's land. Anyone moving across would be gunned down like the Al-Budijari were. They had lost 3,000 men within a half hour..

Though the gains in the city held their ground, advances slowed. Suicide bombers, who adopted the policy of running from cover to cover, found themsleves facing chokepoints between cover where the Errikan guns ripped men apart.
Some Troopers who had become overconfident in their building infiltration were caught by surprise by the guards, who killed some and injured more. However, the AE5 (correction from AE-5) was very effective at such ranges, and the Feuer grenades blasted hallways free of any forces within them. Many of the buildings were largly taken in this manner, but in others the terrorists held on.
The snipers had intensified their fire, causing advancing though the streets to be difficult. That was a little matter for advancing on enemy positions in other buildings, as Errikan explosives blew "new doors" connecting buildings from within. The Faust Troopers (and some Faust Commando squads) andvanced quickly into the buildings to reinforce their brethren.

The ancient soviet weapons and trucks came barreling down the street, right into the line of fire of the Kertech III "K3" Armor piercing rifles and the Errikan RPGs. The main cannons of the tanks, at least those that managed to fire quickly enough, blasted bits of rubble and destroyed cars out of the way, weakening Errikan cover. That allowed more AK wielding radicals to advance, severely threatening the Errikan hold on that position.

Then the armor arrived.

The tanks arrived (very appropriatly, just as the sound of Errikan jets screaming across the sky echoed from overhead) and immediatly invigorated Errikan morale. The large turrets blasted out entire rooms where the snipers were positioned, and provided excellet cover for advancing Faust Troopers.

As the Querqian troops held on for dear life in the trenches, Errikan mortars blasted other sections of the trenches with surprising accuracy. They provided heavy cover fire as well, but had recieved orders not to advance yet. The Krokodil Tanks were on their way.

The jets screamed overhead, dipping down low enough to fire missles and perhaps some actual gunfire before spiking upward again, avoiding AA attacks. The enemy trenches were their main targets, though their radios screeched not to attack one particular section.

OOC-Yes, Albu. You said you captured the trench area without giving me a chance to respond, so yeah. It's fine, though. Just don't do it again.

The arrival of the tanks meant that many of the Al-Budijari that still held on in the buildings pulled out rocket launchers, firing on the Errikan tanks. Snipers continued to fire on the Errikan lines. Where the tanks and trucks advanced, the front ones were quickly disabled, blocking parts of the streets. This blocked much of the advance by armour, but gave the advancing soldiers extra cover. Some of the trucks were rigged with explosives and driven fullspeed into the Errikan lines and cover. The explosives were timed for thirty seconds, unlike many manual detonating bombs.

To the right, a second advance moved down a street to flank the Errikan men.

In Kuwait, the assault began. The first wave of 20,000 Al-Budijari men ran across the no man's land. Artillery fired ahead, and tanks advanced behind.

OOC-That'll be hard. :p

As the AB men advanced towards the trenches, they came under heavy fire from the enemy. Quickly realizing that they were under fire from both sides, they began to move outward as well as forward, attacking the enemy that was flinking them, but also moving in on the enemy trenches.

Mortars and artillery continued a heavy attack on the trenches, giving as much damage to the UME before the AB men made it into the trenches to fight close combat. It was doing well, knocking out artillery emplacements and tanks. It killed dozens of men before an effective counter artillery attack could be made. The trenches were weakened in places, allowing a clear advance.

The tanks began to work their magic on the Antiom soldiers, firing both cannon and machine guns onto them as they flanked, the huge amount of men would be hard to surround while so outnumbered, and the UME called for the Antiom men to pull back and defend, rather than go on a suicidal offensive.

Then Antiom men then decided to try to take out the tanks. they had 4 rocket launchers, and 12 rockets so they carefully aimed and shot.

Then after trying to take out some tanks the contacted Gen. Thompson, and requested an air strike. While waiting for an answer the went back to the "shoot the crazy running men" tactic.

"I dont, Ill try to get one for yall." Thompson said to the messenger.

Quickly after the conversation with his messenger, he called the UME. Saying only:

"We need an air strike, in the City of Silk, just a couple bombs dropped on main points in the enemy lines. Please."

"I'll see," said the person Thompson was talking to and then quickly hung up.

Then, they moved to the trenches. Anti-Air emplacements caught one off guard, and as the huge bomber moved towards the ground, the pilot maneuvered it to impact into the trenches. It was a success; destroying an artillery implacement and killing 23 AB soldiers.

The other one deployed and moved back safely, destroying another artillery emplacement and killing 46 men. It wasn't much in the long run, but it scared some of the AB men. 200 of them ran out from the trenches, towards the enemy lines. They would rather die in close combat than be bombed.

The advance continued, soon, the enemies were jumping into trenches and detonating themselves. They jumped in and stabbed at the UME and Antiom men with bayonets, others simply fired throughout the trenches. Tanks hit artillery emplacements and UME and Antiom tanks.

OOC-Sorry about that, woo only a couple 100,000 AB to go!Am i doing good for this being my first time?

With the huge advancement of AB coming toward the trenches, the Antiom men ran up and throw grenades in the heart of the advancement hoping it would cripple it.

The tactic they were using was no long working, so they set up a little defence, and moved back the "army" that they had and made more trenches since the ones in the front were becoming over run.

After the newer trenches were made the pulled back the defensive block and bombard it with artillary to kill all the AB men, then started focusing the artillery fire on the tanks, and the tank fire in the middle and front of advancing AB men.

The Artillery Barrage ended and the forces ready for attack moved in, it was going to be a slow advancement, the front line consisted of Mortar launchers inside the PATC Transports, they would move up until they could see enemies and then get out and bomb the crap out of them.

The idea was to localise all enemies into the major towns and cities, then they could level these places with a barrage of shells, but first came the difficult task of getting them into the Cities, the 1st Division APC fanned outwards into the desert, they were followed by the 1st and 2nd Foreign Assult and the 1st Urban Warfare Divsions, behind this was the Logistics and its support squads.

The tanks began to take a serious beating, but, for the most part, their armor held strong as they rolled down the street. Every time a man revealed himself to fire a missle, the spot was blasted by tank and machine gun fire. Sometimes they managed to fire; sometimes they didn't.

The squad commander hurried off behind the corner inside the building, reaching for his button and pushing it. The explosive charge he had set in the wall blew clear through it, the rebels on the other side, and the wall on the other side of the hallway.
"Now," he declared to his soldiers, and they rushed through the space. The cloud of dust obscured the way immedietly, but the troopers hurried on, dropping low and into cover immediately upon reaching the room. The single sniper turned rocket launcher was caught off guard and mowed down.
"Section secured," the commander breathed into his com.
"Section secured," came several answers, though another answered, "We have come under heavy fire . . . pinned down . . ." then an order erupted over the speaker, "Head to reinforce position . . . "
But he was distracted from that when the door burst open, and rebels wielding Kalashnikovs opened fire. One Faust trooper dropped before the others quickly took cover.
"Enemy advance on our position has pinned us down, I repeat, enemy advance on our position has pinned us down. We have one man down," he said over the com before turning and firing a focued barrage of fire into the enemies storming the room.

As the Israeli fighters screamed across the city, one looked down upon the battle in the streets. The tanks were the most visible, firing upon various buildings. However, he noticed something else. The adjacent street had troops advancing down it. They certainly weren't Errikan, and were going the wrong way to be members of the defense of Dubai . . . he confirmed their status over the radio, and quickly recieved new orders.

That fighter squad dove quickly, dive bombing the advancing enemy column with missles and gunfire. They pulled up before they were clear, pulling around and beginning another run, this time from behind.

The troops in the rear who were going to support the fighting in the city recieved new coordinates, being ordered to form a position at the end of the street that the enemy was advancing down, assuming they got very far. This was done with the upmost of speed, and Errikan machine gun and AP nests were built to withstand the onslaught.
The buildings that were occupied quickly had men on the roofs firing down upon the enemies who were advancing down the road.

"Why are they taking so long to unload?" the commander asked hurredly over the com.

"We are having difficulties . . ."

"Don't tell me that! I want those helicopters twenty minutes ago!"

Thompson didn't know what to do with the Antiom Air Force and Navy being small and inexperienced, then he decided to call in a couple of jets, from the ship he requested to come over, and stay there at the city, it had 3 bombers on it.

"Hello" Thompson said to the man who picked up the phone.

"You know those three bombers we have there?"

"Yes sir, I do."

"Well, we need to show those AB what a real explosion is."

"Will do sir"

A few minutes later 3 jets came soaring from behind the city. One of them quickly got shot down. While one of the jets focused its bombs on tanks and artillery, and the other just started dropping bombs from the last UME trench to the end of enemy lines, quickly both of them turned around and headed for the ship, but then the one furthest away got shot down.

It seemed like it worked but then thousands of AB men started storming the trenches, the tanks fired but more kept coming, they knew they had to fiqure out something to do.

Upon seeing this the only fighter pilot left turned around and started bombing the enemy, then his wing got shot off, he knew he wouldnt make it, so he crashed the plane into the enemy.

Ops units, so we should have this battle won in about 4-10 days. Also here is some more ammunition and food"

The men got the ammunition and with this news, it gave them a morale boost. The terrorists attack on the trenches had slowed down and it was back to normal, just shooting crazy running men. The troops knew though, when the Spec. Ops units got here, the terrorists wouldnt know whats coming.

With the help of Errikan reinforcements in the trenches, the Querqian troops would be able to hold on longer than expectd, but more help would be required in the near future. Doubts were spreading if their luck would preavail in another offensive, so the order was to given to stay on the defensive till further notice.

Because the troops in the trenches would stay on the defensive, those that would have attacked were sent to aid the Errikan troops in the city. They were ably to reach them, but not after being ginned down by the AB soldiers and tanks. Those at the end of the Querqian line were blown completely away from a surprise suicide bomber, killing 17, and wounding 5.

The men were being torn to pieces by the constant swarms of the AB units, so the order was given to send in a few Heavy Tanks, and for extra insurance; two of the Querqian super heavy tanks were sent in to block passes.

OOC-Um.. no it's not.. I think you're mixing it up with Abu Dhabi..

The Al-Budijari was taking a heavy beating from the Errikan bombs and tactics. At the second advance, the men were climbing on the top of the roofs, crawling just out of sight of most of the Errikans. Their plan was to get close enough and jump from the buildings, they would explode within the lines. There were dozens who had adopted this tactic. At the same time, most of the tanks by now were destroyed, blocking the streets off from advance by either side. Men were taking alternative paths through backallies and buildings. Again, buildings were reinforced with machine guns and snipers.

In the main assault, things were going terribly for the AB. They were losing at everything they tried. They began to fall back to their trenches.

Where the Querqueian men were in the ditches, tanks and artillery began to shell them. When the shelling was done, men began to move down the trenches and fire on them with their AK47's.

In Kuwait, the attacks weakened substantially. Because of the bombings and seemingly constant reinforcements, the men began to pull back to the trenches. They were going to play the defensive war, but at the same time, starve those in Kuwait off.

The men on the roof tops would have been spotted by the planes, but that was unnecessary as there were already Errikan soldiers on the rooftops, who quickly eliminated the threat with their AE5s.

The Faust troopers in the buildings moved throughout, clearing their sections and taking up the former sniper positions, at least those that remained in tact, in order to shoot the snipers on the other side. More troops took to the rooftops in order to advance from building to building, though many continued to blow open the walls as well.

As the Faust troopers began to move into backallies, they found the enemy already advancing through them. Focused machine gun fire and grenade lobbing followed.

On the main lines, Errikan heavy fire mowed down any advancing enemies, but did little to help the Querqian fighters in the trenches. The Faust commanders sent messages to the Querqs to pull back.

The general recieved the messages from the Faust Commaders, and felt that it was the right strategy to save more lives. As the Querqian troops left the trench, several were picked of my stray bullets. Those that were unlucky enough to be the last to leave were either blown up or stabed by another onslaught of suicidals, but they did not die in vain as those who did not blow themselves up were immediatly killed.

So as to not shamefuly lose, the order was to given to "blow the crap out of the lost trench." No-mans land grew ever wider. The retreating Querqs fled back to the old trench and set up for more, maybe even more ruthless, offense of suicidals.

Dozens of them began to file out of buildings all over, firing huge amounts of ammunition onto the advancing Errikans high and low. They would be completely vulnerable to the Errikan guns as they advanced, yet they would be out and into the trenches with others soon.

Initially, the Faust Troopers had a field day, blasting many of the retreating rebels apart in droves. However, the cover fire soon pinned many of the Errikans down, allowing many more of the rebels to escape the front lines.

The fliers soon recieved orders to destroy as many of the fleeing rebels as possible, and begun their dive bombing trips once more, dropping bombs and spraying bullets into the crowds. However, it was at this point that more jets had returned to the ships for fuel and ammunition than had come back, limiting the effectiveness of these dive bombings.

On the main front, the Errikans tried to provide as much cover fire for the retreating Querqs as possible.

With the AB men on defence, the Antiom troops mainly got more ammo, and planned their attack, one which would hopefully damage The AB men enough to make them surrender. With 7,000 new troops, ammunition, and 100 Spec. Ops., they're total number of troops was 18,534 and 22 tanks.

NIGHTFALL

General Thompson needed a good strategy, so he made a plan, and it was to put 11 of his tanks on the right and left side of the AB trenches accompanied by some troops and focus on the artillery, and in the middle the rest of the troops the ones up front with rocket launchers, taking out the tanks, and when all the artillery equipment is gone the remaining tanks would go and take out the remaining AB tanks. then with the tanks and artillery gone, all the troops would storm the trenches.

So after briefing the commanding officers there, he made the tanks go and head out, far away so they wouldnt be seen but lined up with the sides of the trenches, and got his troops ready for battle.

After about 30 min. he called his the officers incharge of the tanks:

"Are you ready for the fight of your life?"

"Yes Sir!"

"Well Fire 'em up!"

With that said the tanks moved into position and started heading for the sides of the trenches to get the artillery and the rest of the AB by surprise, then Thompson commanded that the ground troops go and get the tanks with rocket launchers. He knew he would need some sort of miracle to pull this off, hopefully the AB men were sleeping, praising Allah, or something, where the would be caught off-guard.

If you can pull this off, we might be inshape to finish them off, depending on how well you blew them up.

The bunker busters slammed into the ground, exploding and destroying much of the trenches. Hundreds of Al-Budijari men died, but it wouldn't be enough. Their were many, many more men. Prisoners began to work out more trenches under the watchful eyes of the terrorists. Anti-Aircraft guns began firing into the air at the enemy planes. Where the missiles had hit, the land became unuseable.

In Dubai, the Al-Budijari suddenly began to move out, running through the huge trenches that stretched for miles. Eventually, they would get out of them, and move back towards Abu Dhabi, the most heavily fortified Al-Budijari city in the South. They were moving quickly..

General George Schwarzkopf was sitting in his command post on the GSS Freedom. As he observed the successful but still in progress air assault, he saw that it was evident for a foothold in UME in order to ward off Al Budijari for a little bit longer. He was preparing to mobilize a land invasion into Kuwait to completely eliminate Al Budijari. It would be an amphibious and airborne invasion onto the coast in order to block off the fleeing Al Budijari. The plan was to have the coast bombarded and bombed while Alpha Force Special Forces would be inserted via Blackhawk further inland to sieze the interlocking highways and to cut-off support to the coast. Meanwhile 200,000 regular troops would be in route on M2 Bradley fighting vehicles to make the beach-head.

Meanwhile the X-2s were zeroing in on their targets. This was to thin out the fleeing Al Budijari and cut their morale.

When the troops got back they found out that they didnt lose anyone besides the troops who were with the tanks. After seeing the Gilabad had hurt them good enough, they began to fortify the city, almost expecting a terrorists attack.

The troops moved back into the city, or close by it, with Antiom last shipment of troops, they got some Artillery equipment, and Antiom Gattling Guns(Regular Gattling Guns but more technological) and a huge shipment of posts and barbed wire.

They got about 25 yards from the city and put the posts in the ground, and put barbed wire around it. 5 yards behind that the put the Artillery guns with the Antiom Gattling guns between them. In the city, they put the Spec. Ops. Snipers on top of the buildings along with the few remaing people with rocket launchers.

Not long after all of the terrorist forces had reached the fortified city of Abu-Dhabi, the missles struck. They were conventional sub-based medium range missles, and their explosions killed none but the few who guarded their targets. The only bridges leading in and out of the city.

With those destroyed, the bombardment began. Shells and missles from the battleships and subs blasted the city constantly, and when night fell bombs from planes would be added.

The offensive war had begun.

In his armored vehicle, he checked his information. The million expected Youlandis had been shipped out. They were not at all quality troops, but every man was a man. And occasionally wiping out portions of their population was productive.

As the Alpha Force units reached the outskirts of the city, they recieved the transmission from the Awaks. Being that Zulu was the closest to the crash sight, they were assigned the search and rescue duty. They would have to navigate through 6 blocks of enemy territory to get to it. Before they entered, the zulu team leader contacted the AWAKS and asked if there were scattered concentrations of back-allyways. The AWAKS confirmed that there were and that they could probably bypass most of the enemy patrols than if they were to take the main streets. They immediately entered the city, quietly passing through the backyards of houses, while fixing the suppresors to their M20A1 Battle Rifles. As they got further into the city, they came close to a 2 story building where 4 enemy combatants were manning an AA gun, still focused on shooting down their support craft.

"Zulu 4 stay on my six and prepare to nade these hudlums with phorosphorous! The rest of you cover us!" whispered the team leader into his whisper-mike.

"Roger that sir!" replied Zulu 4.

They crawled on their chests for 30 yards and then rolled behind some bushes.

"On 3" mouthed the team leader.

Zulu 4 gave the thumbs up and pulled one of his phorosphorous grenaides out and got into a squat position.

"1....2..3!"

They simultaneously lobbed their grenaides onto the platform where the enemy combatants were engaging air targets.

As the Amphibious Force came upon the beach, there was an erie calm in the night. It either was that the Al Budijari had no idea or they were going into an ambush. The M-2 Bradley fighting vehicles would deploy the troops immediately as they reached over the crest in the sand, that way it would give the troops something to have cover behind while the M-2 Bradley vehicles would push on and the troops would follow behind them as they advanced. The first wave came up onto the beach. The first of which was Colonel Langley's vehicle, in which the ramp fell down and he was the first one to set foot on the battleground.

The brief sound of the count caught the attention of one of the rebels, but far too late. The grenades exploded on the platform, killing what guards there were. One, the one who had noticed the enemies, fell from the platform into the street below.

The sound of the incindiary grenades going off, along with the lack of continued fire from the AA weapon, quickly attracted attention, and several dozen rebels rushed onto the platform, while many others came out on the street. Those on the platform began to blanket the area of the enemy with fire from AK-47s, while those below did the same.

The long ranged troops had followed their orders, hitting many napalm containers long before they reached the front.

Meanwhile, the rebel advance had slowed to a halt from heavy fire from the landing enemy. Dead, dying, and otherwise wounded men littered the beach. Still, the positions that were taken held strong, and stinger and other AA positions that had been set up were now focusing their fire skyward. Furthermore, the limited artillery positions within the city blasted the landing APCs and troops advancing from them, while heavy machine gun fire and RPGs blasted away various forms of light cover that was hiding foes down the beach.

For some reason, the sound of that particular fifty being fired rang out over all the others, and the bullet soon found its mark, tossing the remains of the man and slightly dispersing the crowd.

That, along with the rest of the heavy covering fire led to several dozen rebel casualities within the mintue. This had almost no effect on the rate of fire on the advancing, and largly injured, troops as most emptied posts were quickly refilled. However, one quick brush of machine gun fire along with a RPG misfire opened a brief break at the opening of a building about thirty yards ahead of the current position of the injured men.

Meanwhile, the ground troops who had successfully deployed, took cover behind the crest of the beach, firing everything they had at the enemy postions. The artillery fire was getting dangerously close as it had already obliterated 50 APCs. Something had to be done. Meanwhile in Madinat Al Kaban, the other 2 fireteams were advancing steadily through the city without incident as most of the attention was at Fireteam Zulu. Fireteam Bravo was assigned the task of eliminating the artillery positions as they were the closest to them, comming up from the south. As they had passed through the backyards of the suburbs and began getting into the back allyways, they noticed two gaurds standing watch in the street smoking cigarrets. The team stopped and took coverbehind a large truck which covered the allyway and was situated behind the gaurds. They seemed to be rambling about random subjects and had their backs turned to the team. As Able element emerged with Bravo element covering them, they drew their comat knives and snuck up to the gaurds, gripping them by their throats before slitting them.

200 ground troops wounded
12 KIA
50 Bradleys destroyed
1 A-10 disabled

As the AA positions came under heavy fire, leading to deaths amongst the crews, they responded by intensifying their fire.

Though the rebels on the beach were taking a beating, they saw the heavy damage that they were inflicting on the men on the beach and took heart.

When the fireteams slew those smokers in the backalleys, they killed the last armed men in the city with no awareness of what was going on. All of the others were ready and mobile, either fighting, moving supplies, moving about on patrol, commanding or supervising these activities.

As Jolly Green 5 neared its drop point, it opened its cargo door. The bomb was armed. The crew made final weapons checks.

"AWAKS this is Jolly Green 5, requesting green light for MOAB deployment. We are over the target area between the cities and the beachead!"

"Roger that Jolly Green 5, you have a green light over!"

"Roger that! GIT R DONE!"

The bomb was ejected out of the back and its guidance fins deployed as it sailed towards the ground....

With all of the battle going on, the single, admittedly very large, bomb went unnoticed as it sailed downwards towards its destination, which was (OOC: where was it going?)

After killing the 2 sentries, Fireteam Bravo moved the bodies underneath the truck that they took cover behind to conceal them before moving into the next allyway across the street. They continued for about 2 blocks or so, stopping occasionally to allow a patrol or vehicle to pass by. They were definitely close to the artillery positions being that the massive muzzleblasts could be seen over the tops of buildings. They cautiously moved across the street and saw what seemed to be an abandoned restraunt and moved up to the upper floor. From there they could see that the artillery positions were in the middle of a vast courtyard about 200 meters long and about 50 meters wide. They immediately came up with a plan. The team would advance parrallel to the courtyard, Able element to the right and Bravo element would go on the left side. Being careful as to not shoot eachother, they would engage the enemy in a crossfire while they would call in support from the gunship.

They immediately moved out cautiously. As both elements advanced down the narrow street, they constantly had to duck for cover due to the patrols that would occasionally come down. As they neered the RV point, both elements broke into buildings overlooking the courtyard. Bravo however, broke into a house occupied by a family. Fearing a compromise, they shot all of the family members with their suppressed M20A1s. Then both teams moved into postions on the balconies of the two buildings.

"Bravo element are you in position over?"

"Roger that Team leader. We're ready to rock and roll!"

"Roger that. Able are we set?"

The rest of Able element nodded their heads in agreement.

"Alright team hold on...A-Bird Squadron, A-Bird Squadron, (Apachies) Fireteam Bravo requesting immediate air support do you copy over?"

"Roger Fireteam Bravo, we're moving into position, please specify target over?"

"Roger that, deploying infared strobe on target"

"Bravo1 deployed his IR strobe into the mist of artillery positions.

"A-Bird squadron, do you have a visual on the target?"

"Roger that firing on your mark!"

As he noticed that more of their fire was now being focused towards the air, this was his moment. He immediately called in an artillery strike from the Battlecruisers. With their 35 inch guns, they pommeled the beach positions of the enemy and worked their way up inland. Simultaneously, the final wave had landed with additional troops making approximently 200,000 troops, along with 3000 M12 Battlefortresses. As the M12s came upon the beach, they immediately blasted away with all of their guns including the 155 m.m. and the 40 m.m. Mk. 19 grenaid launchers.

As the Alpha team leader saw the break in fire, he knew that this was their chance.

"Jolly Green 1 Covering Fire!!!"

"Roger we're on it!"

The miniguns, 25 m.m. GAUs, 30 m.m. Vulcans, 40 m.m. bofors all went off into the enemy positions as Able element ran with all of their might, some limping to the opening of a 2 story building while Bravo covered. When Able element got their, Bravo element soon followed as Able covered them. When they got inside, they got a big break from action as the gunship took care of most of the enemies outside while they rested and drank water. In the meantime, Zulu 3 and Zulu 7 (medics) took care of the injuries which were mostly minor internal traumas such as bruises dislocations and sprains. While Zulu4 was treated for a minor shrapenal wound into his knee which would have been near fatal had it not been for the armour. Bravo element took the top story and Able to the ground level in the building. Zulu 8, the Bravo element sniper, took up a sniping position on the top floor and began taking aim to pick off enemies trying to advance on their position with his AW50.

The bomb struck the sand directly in front of a Jeep (yes, a Jeep). The blast destroyed everything in a 400 foot radius, killing three hundred fifty two rebels and blasting away the nearby buildings.

Men were tossed into the front line trenches from far back, as were vehicles and bits of buildings. Rebel morale took a serious blow, and many men began to fall back. However, noble commanders began rallying the soldiers, who quickly returned and even tried to continue their advance.

Realizing that this particular artillery position was lost, one rebel grabbed a bundle of grenades. He ran with it to the crates storing the explosive shells (which were right next to the crates holding some RPGs), pulling the pin of one as he went. When he was nearly there, bullets ripped his left side open. He stumbled another two feet to the crates, dropping the pulled grenade and several of the other grenades into it before it went off.

The first to set foot on the beach was Emperor Christian I, who would personally be leading this capaign.

"Send a communication to our allies in the region, letting them know that we have arrived and are going to end the stalemate in the region." Tedish thought for a moment. He was suspicious of the Errikans, but he should not speak down of the advise given to him by Muwaffaq. Despite the fact that Tedish was older with more experience, the young, headstrong Muwaffaq was his superior because of his father.

With the communications cut, the main forces had no way of knowing what was happening in the south. There, the thin forces were quickly overwhelmed.

The Faust troopers dropped into the trenches as soon as the defenders were killed. They had had no time to set any sorts of booby traps, so they were confident that this plan would work.

The Empeor, in full battle garb, dropped down alongside his men.

"Now, my soldiers," he beamed, drawing his sword and pointing down the trenches towards the enemy positions, "We drive forward to drown slaughter these pagans like the rats they are!"

The Errikan forces quickly advanced down the trenches, attacking in the direction that the trenches were not designed to face.

The men in the trenches were not ready for an attack from that side, and were slaughered at an amazing rate as they approached the main position.

"They are attacking from the south!" a rebel who had escaped reported to Tedish.

"What?!" he asked angrily before turning to all of his various commanders, "Send all forces we can to the-"

"It is too late! They are almost here!"

Tedish thought deeply for a moment, staring off into space.

"Commander! You need to leave immediately if you are to escape-"

The Errikan forces now flooded into the trenches that held the main bulk of the rebel forces. The well equiped but largely conscripted rebels would have been little match for the well trained and well equiped Faust troopers anyway, but now they were caught off guard. As sections of trench were occupied, the Faust troopers took up positions to mow down the reinforcements in a similar fashion as the Trottles, now largely dead, dying, or wounded, had faced.

"I want the commanders," Emperor Christian, bravely commanding in the line of fire, ordered. He was known for his utter bravery and, fittingly, his utter luck in the most dangerous of battle situations, "I want the command center now."

The Emperor's group of elite Faust Commandos stormed the trenches that reached further back, to the command post.

OOC: This building is somewhat intact, but whatever. Also, several men firing from five yards away all at once leaves the chances of not hitting their target slim to none. Thirdly, there is far too much AA equiment (including personal weapons) for much of it to be destroyed before it can deploy.

(OOC OK you've really confused me. Assuming that the enemies are on some really nearby rooftop, the amount of airstrikes on the surrounding area, there is an acute amount of rubbal that the sniper is hiding in. The Faust Commandos blasted their way through the trenches, quickly arriving at the command center. Their machine guns drenched the surrounding area with fire in order to elminate any threat of guards. However, this got rid of any chance that those inside were unaware of their attack.

OOC: the continued and very heavy fire would produce notable results

The munitions that were dropped were devastating where they landed, but the heavy fire continued nearly unabated.

As the enemy advanced down the beach, they were spotted. Rather than continue to funnel troops into the single, small, and heavily bombarded front, many troops were now sent to cut the enemy off from their destination and thus attack them from two sides.

"Allah wa Akbar!" screamed one rebel before charging at the enemy and beginning this firefight. These soldiers were refreshed, attacking from multiple directions at once and, for once, had the element of surprise on their side.

As the charge raged on, they began to pick up pace as the troops following behind were at a slow run as the tanks and the APCs speed forward. As the rounds bounced off the M12s, the crews became more agrivated as they began rapid firing their Mk.19 grenaid launchers and firing their 155 m.m. canons into what appeared to be ammo dumps and weapons cashes. Meanwhile the flanking force was alerted by the A-10s as they went to re-arm that there were "indigenous forces" closing in on their position...

"This is TB leader to Foxtrot Leader, you have a shit load of indigenous forces closing on your position do you read!?!"

"Roger that we'll be contacting the next support group over! Thanks for your help TB squadron!"

"This Sierra Leader to all operaters, we are in the AO over?"

"Roger that Sierra, this is Foxtrot requesting immediate close air support around our beacon over!"

"Roger that Foxtrot we are INBOUND AND HOT!"

AS the formation came in, the A-6Es activated their radar jamming systems which would disable most guidance systems on AA devices. They also activated their ECMPs, which would jam enemy communications. While the A-10s split formation to immediately engage the indigenous forces, the A-6Es and the JSF-35s engaged at high alttitude. They began dropping guided cluster bombs onto the running onslaught of enemy troops attempting to cut off the flanking force. The JSF-35s began dropping hellfire anti-tank missiles at any vehicles that moved and that weren't already engaged by the A-1os. The A-10s were already blasting away with their 30 m.m. GAUs and dropping napalm along with cluster bombs on both parts of the enemy force.

Meanwhile down below, the flanking force immediately kicked their vehicles into high gear and were going to squeeze and plow through the enemy force, never stopping as to not get bogged down. With the advanced range of the M12s' 155, they were able to engage the enemy at great distance...

The explosion passed, and the Emperor and his Commandos advanced into the ruins.

For a moment, Tedish wished to groan. The explosion had smacked him against the wall (though the bulk of the blow had been absorbed by another object and one of his officers), and burned his back badly. His ears rang, and he was sure that his ribs were broken. However, he was alive.

Then the Errikans, led by their emperor, entered.

Tedish knew that it was someone that was hostile, and quite likely the someone that had shot him and thrown in the grenade. He also felt the knife at his waist. With his left side, which was much better off, he pulled the blade and lifted himself, turning quickly and lunging as best he could forward at the Emperor.

OOC: Do .50 rounds bounce off M12s?

The attacks from the sky obliterated sections of the rebel attack, and, when coupled with the vehicles driving through their ranks, caused rebel morale to plunge. However, these circumstances allowed the rebels to get within an arm's reach of their enemies, which meant that they could use their bayonets and other melee weaponry, leaving the personal armor of their opponents all but useless and allowing the use of many grenades tied together against the enemy armored vehicles.

Meanwhile, as the flanking force squeazed in between the airstrikes, they were literally plowing through the enemy forces at high speed. OOC: They are not "inside" the building, they are in the central courtyard of the building. No one who was not seriously mentally handycapped would put them in such an indefensible position as you described. Besides, even if they did, the explosion from all of the shells, and what other ammo they had, going off would probably destroy the base of the buildings around it, which would cause them to topple inward into the explosion. Of course, it is possible for it not to have been quite that extreme, but minor trauma? I think not.

"Man all city defenses!" went the order over the radios, and this order was soon followed.

As the AWAKS saw the enemy forces retreating into the cities, they immediately radioed the ground forces, who were finishing up clearing the trenches, and were ordered to continue advancing. The ground forces immediately picked up speed, making a full advance within 10 miles of Al Kahwr and stopping to regroup and recooperate. There were many casualties as a result of the booby trapped trenches and the artillery fire. The M12s as well as the A-10s quickly locked on to the remaining artillery positions with their HAARM missiles, while the M12s used their 155m.m. cannons. As much of the beachead was now conquered, the naval fleet started bringing in the rest of the force. This included the M1096 Paladins, which began to catch up with the advancing forces.

Meanwhile, as the flanking force broke through the enemy interceptor force, they immediately headed to flank the retreating enemy forces to flank them. As the M12s detected them on their radars, they moved in position and began a full carpet fire with all guns blazing as they went charging through the enemy forces. The A-6s continued to run their ECMPs and their radar jammers.

As the buildings began to crumble, both elements tried to escape from the buildings but the blast blew large pieces of debree on top of them causing massive sprains and some broken bones, but they were able to recooperate and reform. The wounds were tended to and they were able to get back on their feet, as they were then ordered to assist Zulu up north. "Jolly Green 1! Jolly Green 1!, This is Zulu 8, I need surgical fire around my position on the rooftop over!?!"

"Roger that, Zulu 8 we're on it!!!"

The gunship fired its miniguns at the enemies surrounding Zulu 8......

As General Tom Shwarzkopf watched in his command center abord the GSS Freedom, things seemed to be improving. The landing forces had successfully established a beachead and were preparing to move further inland. There was an essence of excitement in the room, which left the general grinning. But suddenly it hit him.

"Damnit! S***!"

"What is it sir!?!"

"The Alpha Force Special Forces are still in the cities! They'll be over-run by all of the retreating enemy forces!"

"Sir, this can be resolved, all we have to do is besiege the city and get them out either with or without a rescue team..."

"Good idea....I want Tomahawk missile strikes on Al Kawhr....Away from the teams' positions"

"On it right now sir!!"

12 Tomahawk Cruse missiles were launched at military targets in Al Kawhr, while the fleet began a artillery barage onto the retreating enemy forces which lasted for about 20 seconds as to not hit the flanking force. Meanwhile 4 X-2 Anacondas were ordered into the air....

Negative. Read the ENTIRE thing. That is a very old thread and that's before I made changes. DO NOT turn this into a tech thread. Most tanks can easily withstand .50 caliber rounds. So yes.

Yeah, okay.

And I understand that most, if not all, real tanks can withstand .50s. Still . . . a jet engine?!

Nevermind . . .

As General Tom Shwarzkopf was having a late lunch, Department of Intelligence director John Stevens walked in the door. Holding onto a stack of papers, he shut the door behind him. He had just arrived on a helicopter onto the GSS Freedom. He was sweating in his dark dress suit, as he sat down to have a sip of water. Seeing that this called for a private conversation, General Schwarzkopf called off his body gaurds.

"Shack.....Godfrey, can you give us a second?"

"Of course sir"

As the door closed, DI Director Stevens looked at General Schwarzkopf with a serious expression.

"Tom, there's something I need to tell you. Some of my agents have intercepted multiple radio conversations that there is some sort of WMDs inside of Al Kahwr. The Al Budijari would not hesitate to use these against our forces. We cannot allow those weapons to leave that city. We have to find them and neutralize them."

"My God! This whole time these were sitting there under our noses!?! That's why they fought so hard for that position! John is there anything else?"

"Only that we are hearing that they are planning to move them soon. They won't be there for much longer."

"OK heres what I am going to do. I'm going to have nuclear tipped Tomahawk Cruise missiles on standbye! I want JSF-35s loaded with VX poison gas ready to go if they ever do use them. They are only to be deployed if they detonate those WMDs. That's going to be an order...."

"Sounds like you have a plan. Mind if I hang around?"

"Certainly be my guest. We need all the intel we can get!"
