The military of Nikosati is enraged at the civilians. Now that there is no leader, the military will have to find another way of getting paid. In an attempt to starve the nation, the military has taken all of the food from the island and locked it away.

The island is now split in half, with civilians on one half and military personnel on the other.

The lack of food has not stopped the Nikosatians though, instead they are planning a revolt to take down the military. The military is well equipped with many weapons, M16, AK-47, rocket launchers, and all of your other basic military weapons from modern day, with the exception of pin point sniper rifles with very powerful zooming capabilities (ammo for these guns is low though). The wealthy civilians have basically the same weaponry as the military, and a few other, but the poor civilians only have basic weapons like swords, shields, staves, axes etc.

One thing is for sure, this may not end without a bit of bloodshed...

OOC: sounds intesresting..what is it though, FT, MT?

The battle was non existant. The military was warned about the revolt by a scout so they were well prepared before the civilians were even ready. In only a few minutes, the civilians moved into the military territory. Only one shot rang out, it was from the powerful sniper rifle. One body dropped lifeless to the ground with a bullet hole straight between his eyes.

Imidiately the civilians gave up, dropped their weapons and begged for mercy. Seconds later, the brother of the recently deceased dictator showed up, and took his place as the new ruler while the civilians were still weak and scared.

Nikosati is once again a dictatorship, even worse then the last, and anyone who even seems like they might be part of a resistance will be hunted down, hurled onto a spike, and then hungry pigmonkeys will feast upon their flesh.

The one civilian who died during this rebellion will not be given a funeral, there will no longer be funerals. Instead the bodies will just be taken to a spot in the vast forest and the pigmonkeys will take care of the rest.

OCC: It's mostly MT, but as I said, the poor still use swords and such so it slightly backs up towards PT (the only thing that's really FT is the sniper rifle, but it was made with MT just a lot of effort was put into it to make it better).

OOC: well I'm FT and I'm interested in joining, any chance?

OOC: I'd avise you don't, inter-time RP for a new guy might be too confusing, plus, hed just be slaughtered by your lasers and giant sapceships. I'm MT btw, so may I join the RP? I'd help out the civillians

OOc: i wouldnt send the huge space ships etc and my weaponry for troops is style mt/ft...we still use guns with bullets, never bene a fan of the whole "laser gun" stuff

OOC: Oh, ok, ya, sure, you guys can join the thread and help out the civilians. I do kind of like the way things are going in my nation right now, but civil wars and conflicts within the nation are fun. It would be kind of cool to see what the nation would be like if the people actually became free and forced the military to help them instead of fight against them.

The High Guard had heard of this violence and knew what the course of action that was needed, they decided to send 50,000 soldiers there to restore the order and to create a new nation fro all the people and to cast down the opressive rulers

"I know we at war but we need more allies and we need them soon" ordered Emperor Rin III as the ship Mercury headed towards the planet Nikosati

A small flotilla has been launched to stabilize the situation in Nikosati.

It consists of:

1 VTOL Carrier
1 Helicopter Carrier
2 Crusiers
8 Destroyers
15 Frigates
10 Transport craft
numerous small and support craft

They will arrive in the troubled region within a matter of days.

OOC: I am new and would like to join this thread, I would send a neutral peacekeeping task force to your country. I would secure safe zones around a few cities where civilian refugees would be protected and cared for.
