1 meter = 12 inches!!!!!!!!

The Phoenix Milita

After much debate and protest, The Phoenix Milita has finnaly approved a new distance measurment system combining Imperial and Metric systems:
The Phoenix system works as follows
1 inch starts the scale (2.54 "real" centimeters)
For now, old metric milimeters will be used to ease the transition.
[12] Phoenix inches = (heres where it changes)1 Phoenix meter (1 foot)
[10] Phoenix meters = 1 Phoenix decameter (10 feet)
[100] Phoenix decameters = 1 Phoenix Kilometer (1,000 feet)
[5] Phoenix kilometers = 1 Phoenix mile (5,000 feet)

The system has been introduced in the military, and will be introduced in school in the fall of 2006. It will become 100% mandatory by 2024.
For economic reasons, Phoenix Dynamix will be authorized to produce producuts using bolts, screws and so on made in the old metric and imperial systems until 2050.

OCC: yay! death to metric!

IC:
The goverment agrees with the change but wishes that you to change the following things:
call the meters feet
remove decameter
get rid of the kilometers as well
anything with the word 'meter' in it

So... when the top cannon of this measurement system fires, does the whole thing capsize?

That's really, really, pathetic. Since the metric system is based off of TENS, it's unlikely anyone, from a carpenter to a doctor, will make a mistake. What is this "Phoenix system" bullshit? It sounds like another lame reason to not join the rest of the world in a standard of measurement.

Don't worry, Phoenix is just a dumbass inventor. You should see his ship designs. They're funny.

Ya know, there's a quote from Bambi that covers this:

If ya can't say nuthin' nice.... don't say nuthin' at all.
You don't like his designs, perfect. Don't use 'em. Don't stoop to calling names.

Kubra warns you not to do it This is a system entirely new, so it's not used by any other country. This will make it harder for oyu to trade with other countries, damaging the economy.

This has inspired me to create my own measurement system.
