Elaine sighed to herself; soldiers definitely made poor diplomats noting the heated exchange between the two; "Hatred and pain have their places; sometimes a soldier can overcome impossible odds motivated solely by there sheer hatred of the enemy. Even in our own ranks; there are still those who want to launch a pre-emptive strike on Mationbuds and lay waist to there entire civilisation; hatred and anger are powerful motivators" she said.

"Some of my people have a saying - anger leads to hate, hate leads to darkness, through darkness my chains are broken; and I am free" she added.

"As for a tour, I think I'd like that," She said with a nod

Elaine quickly tapped a grey metalic triangle attached to the top of her wrist; "Valentine to Alexia" the device beeped a second when a female voice came back over the small microphone and produced a small holographic display of the woman talking.

"Anaria; I need you to send Chloe over as soon as you can; send her over in a fighter if you have to but I need her here fast" Elaine said.

"Aye ma'am" the woman replied on the other end.

"Valentine out" Elaine said as the image disapeared.

The Animarnia Marines were sat on the rear ramp of the military APC they had used to travel to the host's ship talking amongst themselves when they noticed the new transport dock, identical to the one currently in the hanger. Several people moved off the transport, most hooded and circling something that didn't look pleasant; both Marines suddenly wishing they had brought the full Exo-armour package

"Did you see that?" one turned to the other; "they're eyes were bleeding"

"What Eyes?" replied the second.

On the Alexia
"Ma'am; We've received a reply to our request; they're asking if we can simply scan one of there ships instead" the communications officer replied; reading the message aloud.

"Tell them; we'd like to do that too if we can; but we also wants to see how the rift effects matter living matter native to his reality travelling from this reality to theirs and back", Anaria added

"There will be time enough for pleasure when I return home. Assuming my mission is successful, Lord Remiel will reward me with the finest of the temptations and torments that lie within the Imperial Palace, perhaps a position rivalling Lord Turel, or Ezekial...He'll see soon enough that I can be twice the Inquisitor he is, twice the man, twice the triumph..." he chuckled lightly. "My old mentor; a legend in our nation. He's slain aliens and heretics from one end of the Imperium to the other. Idasu, my brother in training, has held the line against Greenskins at the very edge of space. I have quite a legacy to consider, though I'm not without my own triumphs."

"My hate keeps me pure, it ensures that my blood never cools and my reason never falters in the face of the Impure and the Unclean." He shook softly, as though sensing something. "Ah, finally..."

Renton responded, "Its all a matter of opinion. If you had no intention of dropping the dick measuring crap when you arrived, why did you even bother to accept our invitation?"

Anemone added, "Everyone is positioned according to his or her skill. It doesn't matter how many strings you can pull, if you can't cut it, you don't get it."

Another Thunderhawk had docked, and at least four hooded figures moved in tandem, a fifth between them. They held chains intoned with ancient runes, binding the thing in the centre, hidden as it was under robes and cloaks, hoods and masks. The four looked up, revealing that they were sightless; eyes burned out and instead replaced with empty sockets carved with runic chatter, still bleeding even now.

"We come with the Prize, for lord Actaeon. By the Emperor's will, the Beast is loosed. We have done as instructed" A humm filled the air as they returned to concentrating, the runes burning with untamed fury, energy brought on by their astropathic choir, drawing power from the Immaterium to keep the nameless terror bound.

The security guards that strode over had expressions that showed more disgust than fear. Disgust at the sickening appearance of these non-pure blooded humans. Disgust at the way they blatently came aboard without clearance and were even now making a mess on the floor.

"Any unathorized creature," said the lead guard, "will have to go through quarantine."

"Ah, excellent" Actaeon chuckled softly high above. "My pet has arrived."

Renton said, "If you've brought some kind of dangerous animal aboard my ship, it'll have to be kept secure."

" How foolish of you" Kira said laughing rather enjoying the pain " This body might be human but my mind and soul is still demon and your punny attempts to cuase me pain are rather enjoyable to me. As for my people on the ship i assure you they know i am fully alive and well. All Imperial Guards share a link with Albedo who is a powerful Psychic. So if you attempt to keep me here you will be declearing war with the Imperial Axis and will be dealt with. You think you understand how a demons mind and soul work you are so arrogent and i rather hope you bring open war."

"This room is fully shielded from any signal, technical or mental," replied the doctor with a frown as he noted the Agonizer's rather low output.

With a few manipulations of the code, he optimized it for Kira's neural pathways.

"A little added bonus of the few extras we did add into your base package," he continued.

Gesturing at Kira's former body, or at least one that looked like it at the very least with all the correct injuries, which he should be able to turn his head to see, he added, "All we'll have to do is show them that and have a little funeral of shooting it off into the sun. This isn't the first time we've done this, youth. So don't think we don't know what we are doing."

He looked over into a shadowed corner and nodded. A middle-age red-haired women in the black uniform of an intelligence officer strode into the light with a cold smile on her face.

"The Lieutenant here is only sticking around in case you're chip's masking field fails. Then she'll take over until its fixed. We've got every contingency covered."

With that, he hit the Agonizer control for a full second. With its reprogramming, which might not be perfected yet, it would feel to Kira as if his entire nervous system was being ripped apart atom by atom.

When it was over, the Intelligence Lieutenant leaned over Kira's face and said, "I'm going to have some fun with you. Once I'm done, you'll be quite willing to do as your told."

She strode over to a panel on the wall and hit a control.

"Prep the Neural Neutralizer," she ordered into the comm unit.

"Aye, ma'am," came the reply.

Katana smiled at something going through his mind's eye as he replied, "We'll start when you've finished your meal."

OOC: I don't recall, but if she's not finished the soup, ignore this for now until she has.

Once she finished her soup, a nine-ounce steak, prepared just the way she had specified, was brought out by a holo-waiter who swapped the empty soup bowl with the plate containing the meat.

By this time, the enteratainment had switched to a holographic representation of Frank Sinatra singing one of his more famous tunes with full musical accompianment(sp?).

Your medical and scientific personal will be granted full access, within security limits, to one of our surviving ships. As for your probe, very well. We will also be interested in the results and request that you send them over to us when you get them.

Kira kept laughing " You indeed are stupid. Its not how my brain works its how we demons were rased to enjoy pain and withstand it. The Imperial Guard test of faith is 1000x worse then your little chip. Haveing to endure max pain for days at a time. And do you attend to kill Eureka? or even the delegation from Chronosia. They wont be fooled by any attempt to fake my death. They will want me out of here if only for their own enjoyment to make me suffer."

Indeed Eureka did savour the thought of Kira returning and being made into beg befor her and countless other humans he has done harm to.

"Oh not an animal, something far more amusing. I personally acquired it, bound it...A wonderous tale for the telling." he paused lightly. "You really do seem to have a genital fixation, don't you? I am merely here to enforce the glory and the will of the divine Emperor, beloved by all. Your own equipment, is your own concern. "Forgive my pets guardians, but the Astropaths ensure that a certain amount of psychic interference keeps it under control. Astropaths are like our Navigators, rare gems of psychic talent, well on their way to becoming the New Race.

I doubt you would understand much of how the psyker genes are altering Humanity, but its rather fun to watch. Especially the Alphas, a single mind that can shatter worlds...Wonderous." He was almost lost in his own tangent, filled with admiration. "You will permit my pet to come to me, for I truly doubt that removing it from its Astropathic confines would be truly wise. The constant permeation of its surroundings with energy is nessecary, lest the beast be loosed before its time." He let his mind roam, finding it, tasting of its glorious power.

"Yes...Theres a good boy. You serve me well, Gzaeduchfl, Prince of Longing, Black Lord of Perversion. You are my servant."

It spoke in hushed whispers, alive with psychic power, tilting its head up, tasting the air, its coverings falling back. Its flesh was marked with runes carved into its very being, sigils that streamed unknowable light. Chains bound it, covering its body, arms tied together with leather straps, as it jerked oddly, shuddering, twisting, its flesh contorting even as it moved. Its face was bound, black leather digging into empty eye sockets, tongue removed, instead its voice howled preternaturally from the excised orifice. Fresh eyes boiled upon its forehead, puckered mouths slid across its gyrating torso as it rose up, heeding its Masters call.

"Thrice-damned and cursed are you, Actaeon! Worm named as slave and abhorred son of Chaos! I sense others, life abounds, black life...A foreign life...Taint from beyond the Warp....Touched....Touched by the Nether...Touched by the Legion! Its mark is upon him. Abomination in flesh, human flesh, a cage of sin for it...Destiny....Destiny unfolds....It speaks....SPEAKS!"

OOC: Sorry about the delay. I've been busy with my other accounts. So, instead of me using logging in and out non-stop, I'm just to make my posts using whatever account I'm logged in with at the moment. A'right?

Kira kept laughing " You indeed are stupid. Its not how my brain works its how we demons were rased to enjoy pain and withstand it. The Imperial Guard test of faith is 1000x worse then your little chip. Haveing to endure max pain for days at a time. And do you attend to kill Eureka? or even the delegation from Chronosia. The Lieutenant grinned coldly and said, "Dear boy, by the time we're done with you, you'll wish that's all we did."

"Oh not an animal, something far more amusing. I personally acquired it, bound it...A wonderous tale for the telling." he paused lightly. "You really do seem to have a genital fixation, don't you? "Still," said Renton, "I would have liked to have been informed your were bringing something dangerous aboard my ship so I could have informed security about it. The men down in the hanger aren't exactly the finest when it comes to diplomacy and tact."

"Certainly not in here," added Renton, "but I do have an idea that may work."

With a few deft manipulations of the controls on his chair's arm console, the entire table, all the chairs, and pretty much everyone around it was beamed to a chamber over looking an arena. Currently, this one was covered in thick jungle like flora. If one looked, rustling could be seen as large, unseen fauna moved about.

Katana smirked and asked, "Care to cry your luck down there, Chronosian?"

"Yes...Theres a good boy. You serve me well, Gzaeduchfl, Prince of Longing, Black Lord of Perversion. You are my servant."

"I thought you'd never ask, little man" Actaeon chuckled. "Of course you appear to be the elite of the elite, the most powerful weapon your benign little outcrop deemed possible to create. Thus I will let you choose. You can face me, an Inquisitor, true, but a pure blooded human none the less. Or you may have the honor of facing Ragnar. One of the talons of Aesri himself, a Space Marine, more than a match for your precious augmentations. The grandest of the Terran Empire against the pinnacle of the Emperor's creations. For there are no men as Astartes, bred and built for War."

Actaeon smirked, stiffening only when he heard the psychic echo of his pet. "Something on your ship isn't making my pet very happy...As a matter of fact, I think its getting cranky. Now, I really wouldn't do anything rash down there. Surely your men have seen it by now, it is most certainly not a thing with which you would wish to fuck." he patted a hand against his power sword.

"It took the death of an entire squad of Inquisition guardsmen to bring it to the point where I could bind it. Worshipped as a god of pleasure in a blood soaked grove where it cavorted with worshippers like some satyr. I laid it low, forced it beneath my will. This didn't please it, you'll understand, but its come to serve me well, and play a rather protracted role in my ultimate destiny."

Katana snorted.

"Down there," he said gesturing at the arena below, "one goes in with minmal armor, usually just a pair of training slacks, and goes hand-to-hand with what's roaming around in there. Though, if you would still like to see me defeat one of your precious Space Marines, we'll have to use a different arena."

Regardless, I'm more than able to take part in this little test." He smirks, removing his cloak. "Why don't you run along and get me some of those training slacks then, and we can get this show on the road, hm? I've dealt with xenos from one end of the galaxy to the other, I've stood in the way of Ork Waaaaaghs, I've stared down Eldar and set entire worlds to the flame.

I've no reason to fear this. I fear nothing."

"Well," Katana smirked, "now you'll be facing something nightmares are made of. Something any true Terran would know of.

"Oh, and this is no test. If it were, it wouldn't be life-or-death. You fail, you will die. No questions asked, none needed."

He snapped his fingers and a Petty Officer appeared with a selection of training slacks in various sizes for the Chronosian to find a pair that fit.

"Honestly," Katana added, "I fully expect you to either die in there, or be wounded enough that I won't have to put up with your pointless insults any longer."

"You expect alot then, don't you?" He smirked slightly. "I've lived a long life, I've made war and bred conflict across the length and breadth of the galaxy, and you seek to threaten me with something your little nightmares are made of? Please...

You haven't faced the horrors of the Dark Eldar face to face, you've haven't watched the hellish ravages of an Ork invasion or the hells of a Tyranid hive fleet. I have seen all of this and more, I have faced down Hell, so bring it on.

I can see why you have so many friends and allies in your own reality now, when you throw them into pits to face life or death challenges, just because they happen to look down on you...Excellent way to make a connection, I think we'll take it on ourselves, threatening half the delegates, fucking about with a quarters biochemistry and throwing the other lot into a pit to face something you fear...

Though I admit it would be fun, should I die, to watch you explain to the Emperor, beloved by all, why one of his servants lies dead upon your heretical craft with its Xeno ways"

Elaine almost drooled at the steak that had been placed in front of her; as she started to dig in the room shifted to show the arena but she showed little initial interest in the fight content to eat her steak. B
Between bites she turned to the Terran soldier - "I put 50 credits on the Chronosian" she said. It wasn't that she underestimated the Terran quite the contrary in the academy all soldiers were taught never to underestimate an opponent she could hear Instructor Raul's words echo in her mind - 'the cocky are dead'. The fact was the Terrans underestimated the Chronosian's and it had turned into a galactic pissing contest to see who could get it the furthest

She sat back and watched the show that was about to begin chewing on her meat; "This should be rather interesting", she said.

On the Alexia

"Ma'am we've been given clearance for both the probe launch and to examine one of there ships in exchange for a copy of the results" Jill Taylor; a blonde haired young Ensign manning the Communications station said smiling.

"Very well" Anaria nodded; "Lexy is the probe ready?" She asked the ships AI.

The ships AI appeared in a flash of holographic light; she was tall and had long cascading dark hair and wore the standard Animarnia uniform for all ships officers "Yes Commander; Dr Tannant has loaded the probe with Organic matter and samples of several plants and fruit from Hydroponics. And I've loaded the probe with several different minerals to see how travel through the rift effects matter at a quantum level; I've also taken the liberty of installing a larger data recorder" Lexy chimed off in a military fashion.

"Very well; do it" Anaria ordered. A long white Cigar shaped 15ft long probe was launched from one of the forward missile tubes this time though it was fitted with a micro Ion engine for thrust so it could travel much faster than the previous probe. The Probe made a similar run through the rift, a brief scan and then the return trip just like before.

"Commander; Chloe Johnson is requesting permission to leave in a Hammerhead" one of the officers reported and Anaria nodded her agreement. The Hammerhead fighter so named because of the small Dorsal 'fins' at the front making it bare resemblance to a hammerhead shark launched from one of the port tubes and set course for the Gecko. Flying the fighter was Lt Greg Hillard with Chloe in the RIO position

Ta’Orv continued to watch the interaction between the Chronosian and the captain. Beneath the calm exterior he projected (literally projected), Ta’Orv was seething in rage.

First, the aliens had the audacity to justify invading another’s realm without even thinking of the repercussions to their timeline. Their lack of manors had caused him to take the same attitude they were projecting to the locals, that of being superior. They did not take to it and frankly ignored the taste of their own medicine.

Ta’Orv then decided to simply observe the proceedings. He checked to be sure the sub-mind he allocated to maintain his presence was maintaining the kinetic fields so the scanners in the room would register his presence, which would be indistinguishable with the others in the room. The temperature of the projection was slightly off two degrees so he made an override command to slowly raise it to within parameters.

When the “Pet" entered the ship, Ta’Orv noticed it right away. The signal was stronger than the pathetic one below them somewhere in the ship. This was certainly a Ruler Class.

It had been a long time since he had felt a Ruler so close. It was before The Exodus in one of their last G’Than’Dehrs before the Ta’Nar decided it was time to leave the Immaterium and explore the Materium. They had spent countless Ages there practicing population control on the spawn. He knew if it detected him here; it would fly in an uncontrollable rage. He carefully hid himself behind shields and barriers that even the most skilled would not even notice much less penetrate.
