The Horde Of Doom

Far, far off in a lonely corner of space, a wormhole slowly turned. If one were to fly into it, and follow it, one would reach the heart of the Horde.
It was a wondeful dimension, the god sun Korgoth shining everywhere, no darkness of any kind allowed in his domain. Ancient heros battled all day, unable to die, and feasted on much food. After a dinner more plentiful then any other, the heros would retire with four of the most wonderful women and enjoy a night that would last 1,000 years. They would live like this forever.
It was the ideal of Hordian to live in this place. A Hordian ship could "sink" into this dimension at will, but no living material could survive. So everytime a ship sank to travel to another area of space, they were taunted with this heaven.
This dimension, Moskau as it was called, had been attacked before by a strange alien force. This war that nearly wiped out the Horde ended the days of independent pirate fleets, ruling as they see fit, and a level of liberty unknown to most creatures. Security for Heaven was their prime goal, and they would scarifice everything to be assured their eternal pleasure would not be cut short.
A leader was chosen, a Kaptain more powerful then any other, and named the Khan of the Horde. He alone was the final voice, and his word was law. But when such power is given to one man...a successor could ruin everything.
And so this Khan was modified without his consent, waking one morning to find he would never sleep again. To find his eyes no longer saw the same thing again. To find, that he was no longer among the ranks of the "natural." He had been enslaved by the "black sciences" and transformed into an undead shell of a man. Half man, half machine, a mind that had been cooled of all remorse or pity stared out among the stars.
For thousands of years, he had fooled the entire universe into thinking the Horde was nothing more then rogue pilot fleets with no central authority. In fact, no creature had ever seen the face of a Hordian, and no creature knew what one really was.
Now every fleet was returning to Moskau, and preparing for the reveal of the Khan to the universe.
(Going away till the 28th! Until then, just know the Horde is about to change!)
