OOC: Most Unique RPing Style?

Jenrak

Just wondering, whose do you think has the most unique RPing style? Who in II do you believe has both the different style in terms of storyline, RPing quality, RPing type, his country and how original his nation is in terms of content?

My vote goes out to Fourhearts. His aircraft are interesting and his RPing style is almost like a poem, and it's very enjoyable to read it.

South Africa on Death and Glory. He uses pictures instead of words to RP in several threads, and he uses them so effectively, I've got to give him a nod. It's new and I like it.

The starter of this thread holds one of the most unique styles on the NS role-playing scene, and given his great ability to write, I respect him highly for that.

Azazia is also a good one - Liberal Democracies building an Empire and doing whatever it takes to protect and nurture and help their Empire grow are hardly found on NS.

Most unique? I'd have to say that Amish Militant guy, with the laser toting horse drawn buggies.

Well, Chronosia's domain is in FT.

Most unquie? Hmmm...probably Pacitalia. He does good political roleplays, and is one of the few conversative-type democracies that is respected in the liberal domain.

You said II. Blanket statememnt about the entire forum. Even us FTers need love and acceptance of our 1337 skill at pwnage.

And he STILL kicks ass at writing, FT or not.

And this coming from a person who joined this month and has only 7 posts. I'm not saying that I have the best RPing style, though. Still, this thread isn't about the best RPing style, it's about the most unique. Two very different things the last time I checked.

Anyhoo, from what I've seen, I'd have to nominate someone from the "high society" (e.g. Pacitalia, Sarzonia, Automagfreek). However, I'm almost certain that someone will disagree with me.

More seriously however, I'd have to say Novacom, who appears to write entirely in subjunctive, or Jenrak with his unique concept of a nation [nods at thread starter]. Or all the extreme detail people like Pacitalia, Azazia, Sarzonia, Automagfreek, and the other greats go into.

OOC: I agree with two of those you listed - Azazia and Jenrak - Czardas. You also portray a good, somewhat realistic, Franco-Germanic direct democratic libertarian paradise commonwealth. What about me, as I am, essentially the mirror image of Pacitalia, only Oriental style while he is Western style. And in fact, our two similar nations' beliefs (most prominently federal parliamentary representative democracy) are actually coincidence.

Most of you all arent familiar with Credonia since I (the owner) have been away at boot camp for the past 2 months, but if you look at Credonia's past storyline and actions of the past 3 years and confirm with older nations that are fully aware of Credonia and its reputation, you will quickly see that Credonia has its own style and I have RP'ed some great quality RP's. Credonia has a long history and is II's original father of the war on terror that was once a large part of the NS II storyline for over a year.

This is just an ego-stroke thread.

I didn't make this thread with the intent of it being an ego-fest. I made it with the intent of people talkign about unseen or unknown talents that most people could ignore. For example, alot more people look at AMF's posts alot more than they do at a new player's posts, even if say it is the same quality (I'm not saying it is, but hypothetically). I hoped by this thread that people would think "Hey, I never knew so-and-so had a syle like that, I'll check him out next time."

That's why I said Fourhearts - he's a relatively new player, but he's still good. I could say alot of people - AMF, Pantera, Melkor Unchained, etc, but I chose someone new who I thought had an interesting and unique RPing style.

I hoped that cleared up any misinterpretations you might have had about this thread. It's not made to be an ego-stroke thread. It's made to bring help people see unique talents of both old and new players, most notably new players, and hopefully increase RPing co-operation and respect amongst the community between nations.

And Trutoyu, no problem man.

Indeed. Can't remember if it was horse shaped jetbikes or actual horses in space suits (Tabby did one, Jordaxia did the other), but it did indeed happen. Spears and shields and rather cantankerous mounts.

Come to think of it, the live calvary was indeed Jord. The bikes were Tabby's, but they were rickety as all hell, which made them far more interesting. I'll see if I can dig up his intro thread...

Only because I make half the stuff up on the fly. It helps that most of the backstory of Otagia is in my head, as I can change it as much as I want until I actually put it down on paper. Type. Whatever. As for QUETZAL, thank you very much. Interesting note: I actually talk like them (not all at the same time).

Qualify flamboyant, please. ;)

Anyway, I can't say I completely agree with your nomination of me, as I tend to think that my dialogue is rather iffy in most cases (not long enough when I'm talking to myself being the main problem). Still, praise is always welcome, although I'd prefer you hold your applause and throw money instead.

I think the player with the most unique RP has to have been Hell Bovines. First of all he was using all non-human characters and second he had both very interesting social and political concepts incorporated into his style. Aside from that probably next comes Tanah Burung becuase one of his main and most endearing chracters was an oxyen-tank-breathing senior citizen with a cracking sense of wit.

Maybe i'm just biased but human nations are such a bore ;)
