she looked down on the Kirisuban riot police and the fascist Kirisuban workers party as they fought in the streets of the captial Edo.

The march was legal but once the police was fired upon the gloves were off.

The army was also on their way.

Empress Fujiko had been driven to the parliment building to talk with the Shogun General Nakamura.

She was determined not to be left out of the decision making process and listened carefully to the current reports.

Refugees or not these people that the protest was about now had kirisuban citizenship and had the same rights and reponsibilities as everyone else.

she was sure that the ambassadors living in Kirisubo would have something to say about these events...

the Empresses aide drew her attention to the Raymunian ambassador and she composed a reply

the facists were retreating now both sides having taken heavy casualties.

Police snipers were picking them off aiming to wound for now so they could face the peoples justice later on.

the number of police injured was heavy although most would see duty again. 20 had died and they would be honoured as heroes for their action.

the secret service had also swung into action, their agents in the KWP revealing themselves and one killing the leader and his inner clique in what they thought was a safe house giving her life in the process.

by the time night fell Kirisuban special forces had swung into action, their snipers and ninja teams let loose.

The ninjas retained the skills of their forebears they still used the traditional equipment. a throwing star was still as lethal now as it was in the past.

with their black steel long swords drawn they worked their way through the streets.

one team in particular found a knothole of resistance and worked round the firefight chucking a smoke grenade into the building.

as the facists emerged coughing they were sliced up by the razor sharp blades and left to die like the dogs they were.

As the night continued the Empress continued to monitor events. unlike her late father who left things to the Shogun, Fujiko was more involved.

Feed back from the journalistic community showed that the people felt secure despite the fighting going on in their capital and most of that was down to the Empresses government striking hard.

in other parts of the Empire the now leaderless KWP had been well infiltrated and taken out of commison. the secret service agents along with military reservists were rounding up the remnants of the party. The people on the recieving end of the army reserves sub-machine guns knew what their eventual fate would be as they were nudged into captivity...

Party leaders within the Voxian Fascist Republic denounce the Kirisuban Workers Party for its acts of violence in the streets of Edo. When asked they responded "This sort of violence is not necessary and is only harming the acceptance of Fascism in the world and the people of this great nation."

The Voxian Fascist Party is split with several leaders demanding President for Life Benjamin Tow support the Kirisuban government and others against any interference in the matters of another sovereign nation. A handful of the most radical members are demanding that the government step in and support the KWP.

The President for Life has yet to declare his intent his intent in this matter.

Also, my next response is dependent of whether this is a Nazi party or Fascist party. The name implies Nazi, but I don’t want to assume it’s racist.

ic: by dawn the vast majority of the KWP had been rounded up and the trials would start soon. Justice was swift in Kirisubo. it was expected that the others would surrender or be caught by the end of the day.

the main evidence would be the parties membership roll and video footage from cctv cameras.

all this would take a few days to trawl through and any party member that survived was about to spend an uncertain time in prison before their trial.

the special forces also carried on past dawn striking at members homes and working of the membership rolls. they were apprehended for now with parents being arrested and children being left in the care of neighbours for now.

Kirisubo certainly wasn't liberal but it didn't tolerate a threat to society either.

in the city of Tsu some facists had taken over a persons home and a siege was in place. The special forces working with the local police were confident that the siege wouldn't last long.

the Empress read over the latest the latest international comments and knew that she was doing the right thing. this was the people themselves in the shape of the police and the army purging an evil.

having considered your statement i tend to disagree with it.

We had tolerated the KWP and the poison they were pouring into our society until our undercover agents reported to my government that they were planning a coup, the trigger being the march they were granted. They started their coup attempt by firing at the police that were granting them the freedom of speech all our citizens enjoy.

It is the people of Kirisubo purging themselves of these malcontents rather than my government taking out a political party.

As a UN nation we will ensure that any survivors get a fair trial and a punishment that suits their crimes. when they fired on our policemen and women they declared war on their own people and the citizenry will be their judges.

I would advise you to deal with your own problems before trying to judge our peoples reactions to the malcontents in their midst.

I would also like to remind you that we are members of the Gatesville Soverign Protectorate and of the Gatesville region so think carefully before you try and threaten us for protecting our people.

President for Life Benjamin Tow gave a rousing speech today proclaiming Voxio’s stance towards the KWP. He declared that he will not tolerate this breed of psuedo-Fascism and will offer any support necessary in destroying this corruption of our nation’s beliefs. When asked why he was overlooking his Voxio First foreign policy he stated that “It is not because I am overlooking Voxio, but because I am protecting it. We can’t allow these racists bring their distorted breed of fascism into our country to preach their hate and violence.”

by dawn the next day Kirisubo had something in its prisons it hadn't had in a long time. Prisoners.

with crime being virtualy unknown in the country this was a big shock to the people and passions were running high.

the final body count was also in. 25 police, 1 civilian and 100 KWP had died in the 2 day battle.

1900 KWP members were in prisoners around the countries and to deal with the vast amount of people accused the judges came to them

in special court sittings 5 judges ran the bench and if your name was on a KWP membership roll you were facing them.

A lot of KWP were returned to their cells after getting 2 years for membership of an illegal organisation along with treatment and counselling.

by the end of the week the KWP involved in violent acts had been executed, another 300 in total.

the law was simple in Kirisubo. if you took a life you risked forfeited your own.

the people were still very shaken up even after the trials were complete and the secret service were still trying to root out the last few die hards who had been out of the country at the time. their time would come if they returned home.

in all the towns and cities they had chapters people could see for themselves what the KWP has planned. a lot of the plans had survived and the people would now be alert for them raising their heads again.

Incognitia would like to congratulate Kirisubo on the swift and smooth handling of this menace to civil society.
However, we would caution the Kirisuban government that they walk a fine line. While this time they have admirably stayed on the right side of it, there is a definite risk to essential freedoms in taking such actions - and we stand with all right-minded nations in protecting these essential freedoms.

May justice prevail, and the Kirisuban people henceforth have the peace that they - and all people - deserve.
