Jaredcohenia/Albu-querqian Stand Off (ATTN: Arterus I guess)
Jaredcohenia
10-06-2006, 05:16
OOC: Jaredcohenia is out of the AMAP, and the people of Jaredcohenia aren't happy with the Albu-querqian people. It's getting out of hand.
IC:
Are you aware of the state of fear people of Albu-querque live in? They can't freely practice their own religion, shame on them! And now they want to conquer the Arterusian land of Intermania, so they can unleash their horror across the lands. Their children are brainwashed at the age of two, to follow this evil church and government. Can you live with this?
The propoganda was running on every channel. Jaredcohenian teenagers who weren't even ready for the conscription were outraged. These people lived with no rights, not even freedom of religion. And the brainwashing? How could a government do that to its people.
It was enough.
(ALL SECRET IC UNLESS NOTED OTHERWISE)
Jaredcohenian-Arterusian Military Base
"Why are we out of the AMAP? It was a good idea."
"According to the big guys in Cohenianople, all Jaredcohenian allies ceased their attendence."
"Well...are they sending us anything?"
"We have word that 10,000 Jaredcohenian Elitists will be sent...and some new weapon."
"A new weapon? What kind?"
"We are unaware yet...we will find out shortly."
The Tyraningrad, Cohenianople
The Tyrant stood, looking out of his top story window viewing the entire city. "Are my men going to Arterus?"
"Yes, they are." Answered Grand General Strenivus, standing three feet taller than the Tyrant. "We have also sent the N64 attack system...are you sure you want that sent? It is still a prototype."
"Yes, I'm positive. If that doesn't stop Albu-querque, I don't know what will. They act like they're tough, but look at them!"
The Jaredcohenian Director of Intel, Ugani Zolzi, walked in. "We estimate there are more than 1,000,000 military officials in Albu-querque, possibly more enroute."
"One million? Seems like a lot. Oh well. Let them lose more men that we can easily replace. I'd estimate an Elitist can destroy at least 100 Albu-querqians in a well placed explosion.

In-light of the recent propaganda sent throughout Arterus, the officials of Albu-querque have sent a letter to the governament of Jaredcohenia:
"How dare you spread your slanderous lies! Our people are prosperous and happy with the way things are. Sure, our government takes extreme measures to insure peace, but who hasn't. Can you honestly say everyone in your country is comletely happy and free? We are just giving them a step in the right direction, and giving them something to live for. How can you say giving someone a purpous is wrong? It keeps them living and going on.
And threatening isn't the right way to stop a war... unless, you want a war? You dont want a war... do you? You are willing to kill your own people in a pointless crusade to a new and developing nation?
I hope you will stop the slandering of my nation, and will suppress your blood-lust long enough to peacefuly discuss a proper course of action."

"The letter looks like my high school son could do better," spoke the Tyrant in his office. "Hmm...I'll compose a letter of some sort."
"Very well, sir."
To: Kurt Yager's Office
From: Tyrant Arius Cohenius
Dearest Kurt,
I will have you know that 95% of Jaredcohenians approve of my administration, the other five percent were unable to read the letter. If you are proposing war of some sort, take it. How would you know if I wanted a war, anyways? Perhaps you want a war of your own? I highly doubt that you'd be able to form a strong government in Arterus. So I give you this. Stop your brainwashing of your people or give up some of your Arterusian land to us. And by some, we mean Vampiracy. Should there be any expansion into Arterus anymore, it will be received as a declaration of war.
And the propoganda will not stop, as our intel proves that they are not slander or lies. If you do not believe me at all, take a look at your own nation. It is a hellhole, I say.
If you want war, I'm game. There are Jaredcohenians willing to fight against your brainwashing of children and your lack of a freedom of religion.
From the Tyraningrad.

During an official press conference, Emperor Victor said this:
"In an effort to support at least some peace in Arterus, we offer the use of our Imperial Palace in Urbs Insula for negotiations . . . "

Jaredcohenia,
Brainwashing of children???? What a henious crime! We had no idea! For that reason, we will not let Albu-Querque continue it's reign of terror! You can expect military aid from Kubra!
Sincerely,
The Prime Minister of Kubra
A press conference was called for the announcement to be made. Although, when it hit the airwaves and the tv screens blaired with the message no good would come from it.

"Hmm...some sort of peace conference was mentioned by the leader of Errikland...Emperor Victor Vivo?" spoke Strenivus.
"Isn't that a children's song?"
"...I'm sorry, sir."
"Contact them and let them know I will be in attendence."
"Very well, sir."
The Jaredcohenian Naval Vessel, the Strenivus, took off from the harbor of Cohenianople enroute to Urbs Insula...of course, stocked with 100 Elitist soldiers.

"Again with the slander! 'Hellhole?' How dare you! And calling it brainwashing just adds to the lies. We are only adding a little more commentary to public and private educational facilities. And from what you say, 150,000,000 of your 3 billion population are illterate. So how can you say my ways of education are wrong when a large number of your citizens arn't even able to get a decent one.
I may be willing to stop expanditure, for a period of time, and also give up some of Vampiracy's land. But this will only stop your blood-lust for a short period of time. Next you'll want all my land and inlsave my people.
Again, I hope we can discuss this peacefuly."

We want all of Vampiracy's land. Some won't cut it. All or an invasion.
And they are not illiterate, there is more than one language in Jaredcohenia. We have not printed the surves out yet in that language, since it is close to extinct and is only spoken in one province of my entire country.
Perhaps you can attend the conference in Urbs Insula. It would be quite interesting.

My recieving of more land is not for the reason of power, but merely saving those who were abandoned by an unfit nation.

As you probably do not know, I am Eric Hurlandial. I am the leader of the Kubran anti-war movement (which is pretty damn ironic considering he's about to go to war to stop the war). We wish for peace to be made, for there to be no bloodshed between the nations of Arterus. We wish for nothing more than peace and ask for support from the peace-loving nations.

The Tyrant was wearing clothes that weren't suited for the climate. He had gloves on and a long coat. He shook the Emperor's hand.
"Could you refer me to a shop where I could buy clothes that are...umm...not for 17 degree weather?"
A luxiourious sedan, trimmed with gold and flying the Kubran flag approached the palace. The driver quickly got out and opened up the passenger door. From it came the Kubran prime minsiter. He had a clean, grey toothbrush mustache. His face was proud, yet his eyes were that of a villain. He stood at nearly 6 feet tall. Not quite, but nearly. He looked over every inch of the palace he could see, feigning disinterest.

OOC: Look, you obviously don't get this. Just about every nation worth its salt has satellites. Odds are a great number have gone over your country. Presumably at least one of these has made a map of the world with you on it. Hence, you are not hidden. Unless you've shot down every satellite that's ever come within visual range of your nation.
General Roberts looked up at the men entering the room. One was the governor, and most of the rest were his guards. He guessed that the man in the suit was a delegate.
"Hello, Mr . . ." he began, offering his hand. "L'Hirondelle, sir", he said, shaking the mans hand and leaving the note in it. "I hope peace can be gained for everyone involved".

"Article One: All nations that join must have claims in Arterus, and must not be part of any current ongoing war in Arterus, unless an exception is made by unanimous consent by all member nations.

Article Four: If a nation that is part of the AMAP declares war on a nation that is part of the AMAP, the agressor nation will be ejected, and the other nations in the AMAP will come to the invaded nation as indicated in Article Two.
Article Five: If a war breaks out between two nations that are part of the AMAP, and it is not immediately apparent which nation is the agressor, both nations will be suspended from the AMAP pending a decision.
Article Six: Any nation may, if they have reasonable ground, (genocide, absolute proof of plans to invade another member of the AMAP, etc.) call for the ejection of another nation. If this is to happen, a majority vote will decide whether the ejection should be carried out"

It has only been corrected for spelling errors made by the poor secretary. The discovery of a new continent so close by is certainly an outragous turn of events, thus making my actions justifiable."

"Then you should've told me clearly that I am not done expanding. You said you were done expanding, and then add one sentence saying you're not done. It's either yes I'm done or no I'm not. Clearly, you lied. This won't happen again."

"I didn't lie. I honestly thought that we were done expanding. However, I knew that fate could often throw curve balls, so I did not want to be unprepared.
"Besides, even if I had intended to expand further, which I hadn't, it still would not have been lying. It would not be entirely honest, and would not be a tactic that I see myself using, but it still would not have been lying.
"All of that last part is moot, however."

After waiting patiently, Kurt could not bare staying silent any longer.
"I have promised to stop expanding, but for a period of time, as Errikland stated he would unless an 'outrageously strange turn of events' occured. Thus you can not condemn us for further expansion. And it is not right to hold me up to the action that another nation did..."

At the mention of Jaredcohenia's need for oil Christian leaned forward, almost saying something. He thought better of it. After all, this negotiation was for Albu-querque, not Errikland.

The guard finished looking it over. Strange. He quickly pressed the button on his helmet, briefly communicating with the head of security.
"Alright," he said once he finished, "If you allow us to search you thoroughly, you can go in." "Go ahead, I have nothing to hide", he said simply. He raised his arms for the man to pat him down, while looking distastefully at the media.

The agreement was reached that Albu-querque is removed from the Arterusian Mutual Aid Pact for one week.
Albu-querque agreed on this matter.
He isn't just removed. I get the entire upper penninsula returned and further actions similar to this will lead to military action. Ablu understands this completly.

Then why was that agreed last night? >_>
It was, by me putting him on restriction puts him under permenant watch from the AMAP. Also, since I am am member of GASN, offending actions will also be rported to it for action.

No, I know you told him, but that has nothing to do with me reporting actions.

"Go ahead, I have nothing to hide", he said simply. He raised his arms for the man to pat him down, while looking distastefully at the media.
The guard searched him very throughly, though more conservatively than he would if there wasn't so many people around. He found nothing, and thus escorted the man in. They came up just after dinner finished, so he had to catch up with the others
OOC: Kubra...has your government been opressing your people? Just wondering about this civil war of yours. OOC: Slowly and more slowly. Slowly freedom in Kubra is draining in the name of business. Before civil rights and political freedoms were tolerable, at least. They were above average. Although, the economy wa only "good". After a while taxes severly raised and some political freedoms were taken away. The citizens aren't stupid, they see where this government is going.

Along with my own ships, Errikan transport ships are helping the process move a lot quicker. It's part of the arms/oil deal that we made.
