Mostly modern. That´s why is restored. I think it would be a little boring to base a nation only in Aurelianus´short reign (he restord the roman empire by defeating the Galo Roman Empire of Tetricus and the Palmyra Empire of Zenobia). The idea is a protorroman state in a modern tech context, I guess....
