The American Privateer

OOC: feel free to participate, this planet is currently outside of any nation's area of influence, so disputes are encouraged (give it some excitement)
In orbit over Tortuga 3, 2000 hours
Fleet Admiral Jack Ray sat on board the USS Dwight D. Eisenhower as it hovered above a Class K planetiod. It was in the star system of the Tortuga Asteroid Belt, where the capital of The American Privateer was located.
Beside him stood the Grand Master of The Order of St. Longinus, Juan Diego de Guadelupe.
"Is this planet okay with you Diego? If so, we can begin terraforming immediately," Admiral Ray inquired.
"Of course, It will be good to know that you guys are close bye in case we need some support," the Grand Master replied.
"Okay then. Bio-teams, begin your descent. I want lichens spread out over half the surface before 2400 hours."
In the shuttle bay, four specially modified YT-1300's flew in and over the planet's surface. There, they dropped a foam of water, nutrients, and lichen seeds over the planet. Three hours later, they had half of the planet's surface coated. The specail chemical that TAP scientists had invented for other terraforming projects meant that ten days from now, the lichens would have grown to a point equal to ten years worth of growth.
